I have found stats for almost every competition, but they are VERY old (particularly the otherweights) and I though I have looked over them and made slight modifications they may be unrealistic cause I'm feeling a bit rusty :P
Heavyweights:
Robot Name: Apocalypse II
Weight: 100kg
Shape: Box wedge with sloped sides, ala Storm II. The front wedge is angled at 30* to get under opponents, and the sides are sloped at 42* to deflect spinners. The rear is rounded for easier self-righting.
Length: 85cm
Width: 75
Height: 20cm
Motivation: 2 x internal HDPE wheels, each are 175mm in diameter and they have vulcanised tyres for extra grip, plus they are mounted like Tazbot€™s for more manouevrability. They are in the front of the robot so that the front turns rather than the rear, ala Merlin.
Drive: 2 x S28-400 magmotors run @ 24v from 2 x 3600mAh NiCad battlepacks; this should provide about 9 horsepower.
Armour: 3.2mm hardox monocoque for the most part, strengthened in certain key areas with extra 5mm titanium/vanadium alloy sheeting.
Weaponry: The robot is a decent pusher, but on top there are three sets of Mute-style barbs, one on each side and one running down the flipper arm. They run all the way along the top of the robot and slope down the wedge, and are tungsten tipped to allow it to trap robots on top, and once their stuck on top they can€™t get free.
The second weapon is what I use to get rid of the robot stuck on the barbs. It is a Bio-Hazard style 4-bar flipping arm, but unlike Bio-Hazard it is run off full pressure pneumatics, meaning it will easily throw robots out of the arena. It is 30cm wide and runs down the centre of the robot, made of 4mm hardox and powered by a 120mm x 100mm bore stroke ram @ 750psi from a 1.5kg gas bottle, giving it about 10 flips per round, which should be enough. On the front of the flipper arm there is a strip of 8mm grade 2 titanium, which should aid in getting under the other robots. The two barb-strips on the outer sides are themselves electrically actuated via an A28-150 magmotor @ 24v, hinged at the rear. to be used to conserve gas when self-righting and also to tip robots into the pit/used as lifting arms should the flipper fail.
Speed: 20mph
Ground Clearance: 0 at front, 8mm at sides and rear, but this is protected by 5mm titanium skirts made of grade 2 titanium.
Turning Circle: Using the skid steer system ala Razer gives Apocalypse II a 0 turning circle
Srimech: The 4-bar flipper can right it in less than a second, but to conserve gas the lifting barbs on either side of the machine are generally used, righting the robot in 1 second.
Colour: Apocalypse II keeps the colour scheme of the old one, with dark blue bodywork and a red weapon. The barbs are black.
Strengths: Powerful weaponry, unique strategy
Weaknesses: Limited gas for the flipper

Shape: Box wedge with sloped sides, the front wedge is angled at 60* to flip opponents and the sides are angled at 42* to deflect spinners, the front wedge has a 3cm long extension with a Firestorm-style blade, this extension is angled at 30* to get right in underneath opponents, then ram them so they get flipped by the main 60* wedge, it also has a Tornado style angled rear

Motivation: 4 x CNC Alumnium internal, but invertible wheels, they have a v-belt groove in the treads and a v-belt between the wheels so they count as tracks, but if they break the robot is not affected at all and the robot simply becomes a wheeled robot, leaving the tracks behind
Drive: 2 x LEM-200s @ 60v
Batteries: 250 C-Cell NiCad batteries
Armour: 4mm hardox monocoque with up to 7mm in key areas
Weaponry:
1) Drive power
2) At the rear there are two (static) diamond tipped ramming spikes, they are placed either side of the angled rear
3) The front wedge (and the extension) can lift up and down via an S28-150 at 24v. The wedge is hinged in the middle so it can work both ways up. This front wedge is interchangeable for a vertical tornado style 5kg disc with 2 x tungsten blades like Hypno-Disc's, the disc is spun by an S28-150 at 3000rpm, which it can reach in 1.5 seconds and when at that speed it can deliver a 17.8Kj hit. It is 150mm in diameter, 3cm thick and there is 1.5cm distance of rotattion to the centre of the disc, it is made of titanium/vanadium alloy
Speed: Can be pushed to 28mph, but mostly kept lower for more control (about 17mph)
Turning Circle: 0
Ground Clearance: 0 at the front, 10mm the rest of the way around, but that is protected by 5mm titanium hinged skirts at the sides and rear that flop over when the robot is inverted
Srimech: Invertible
Colour: Light blue with the name written in yellow on top
Strengths: Speed and Power
Weaknesses: Some people will be cheesed off by this clear exploitation of the weight advantage given to tracks
Notes: This one was my favourite because it did so well in VFT lol so bringing it back
Robot Name: LockJaw Epidemic
Shape: An Axlebot with 3 wheels on each side (arranged ala Trident), a wide scoop in the middle that fills the full space between them and two vertical claws, on one each side in between the wheel and the scoop, there are large parasol-shaped armour plates to protect the wheels from the side
Weight: 100kg
Length: 65cm
Width: 110cm
Height: 30cm
Motivation: 2 x go-kart style wheels coated in vulkalon for grip
Drive: 2 x LEM-130s at 36v, 18HP, powered by 4 x NiCad battlepacks
Armour: 4mm hardox all over, but the skirts are 5mm titanium and the scoop is 1cm titanium
Weaponry:
1)The scoop in the middle, it is made of 1cm titanium
2)The claws operate in unison and are powered by Litton Motors at 36v. They have serrated edges and are drilled full of speed holes. They reach out slightly further than the scoop to get a good grip
Top Speed: 17mph
Ground Clearance: Effectively 0 at front due to scoop, and effectively 0 at sides and rear due to hinged skirts that flop over when inverted, they are attached with hardox hinges
Turning Circle: 0
Srimech: Invertible, flipping it does nothing at all
Colour: Gold claws, silver wheel hubs and scoop

Weaponry: The whole shell spins up to 2000rpm via a LEM-200 at 60v. It weighs 54kg and can reach top speed of 2000rpm and lethal in 1.5 seconds. There are two blades, placed adjacent to each other and serrated, shaped like Pussycat's from series 4 although they are much bigger and weigh 7kg each. They are welded as part of the shell so they cannot be ripped off. When spinning at 2000rpm it can deliver a (roughly) 97.8Kj hit, enough to make a nice mess of things. There is plenty of shockproofing to defend from its own and other robot sblows, plus it won't go flying on impact due to the feet (although the opponent will).

Ground Clearance: 7mm all round except for the blades, which runs flush to the floor
Srimech: Coming out of the robot at a 45 degree angle to right the robot is a long spike, powered by a 1.5kg co2 bottle at 145psi, which should be enough self-rights for any battle

Speed: Can reach 22mph when I want to really slam opponents into walls or hazards, but for driving it will mostly be kept to about 15mph

Ground Clearance: 0 at front with setups 1,2 and 3, 7mm at sides and rear and at the front with setup 1
Srimech: Runs inverted with all setups except no.4, but the lifter can always right the robot

It is chain driven and can be reversed if the robot is inverted. When at top speed it can deliver a 26Kj hit. It is 30cm in width, 15cm in diameter
2) Either side of the drum there are two static tungsten tipped spikes, making four in total. These are each 13cm long
3) If for some reason the drum fails the robot can use its wedge to shove opponents around the arena

Weaponry: A 25cm diameter vertical spinning disc 5cm away from the main body, supported by 4 x 4mm titanium arms, which have swivel castors on the top and bottom for easy manouevrability. The disc itself is made of titanium and has two 5mm hardox tunsgten tipped serrated blades which are part of the disc to avoid them being ripped off. These baldes are just 1mm from the ground, and when spinning at maximum speed of 2000rpm from the LEM-130 @ 36v that powers it can deliver 35.4Kj per hit as well as flipping opponents as it spins upwards. The direction can be reversed when the robot is flipped by the chain driven system

Ground Clearance: The disc is 1mm from the ground, the rest of the robot is 10mm
Srimech: Invertible
Colour: The disc is blue with gold stripes and red blades, the body is mostly pewter and grey with some dark blue

Weaknesses: Not the toughest armour

Excellent, Liam! All I will say right now is that your lightweight has an extra kg on it, but its stats don't look more than 27kg so just a simple edit to the weight would work. :) The dimensions could be really be bigger though. There are some featherweights that have bigger dimensions.

Lime-y vs Munch - despite running lower voltage, some back of the envelope maths says I will accelerate faster and have only a little bit less force at the wheel. Not exactly sure where the wheels in Lime-y are but "go-kart style" suggests larger diameter and with it being a wedge they'll have to be reasonably far back. Hopefully this means Munch will turn better.
That said go for the sides and back, grab it (not really going to make much of a dent in 5mm hardox now am I ;P) and attempt to feed it to the arena hazards (particularly the pit).
If I do get caught head on all being equal forks should get under wedge and more envelope maths says 4.5 tonnes down vs 3 tonnes up (at the ram) so something's gonna break.
Slammer VI vs. All Bar Some - Not going to be fun to fight something possibly more solid than itself.
Attempt to put some distance between us so I can start spinning, try to bludgeon it to death. If I can't get spinning ram it into stuff so I can run awa... make a tactical retreat and then spin up.
Vertigo vs. Frustum - Try to turn it upside down repeatedly, hope it runs out of gas/ throws itself out of the arena/ falls into a plot hole etc.
Back to Rock III vs. Shego - Keep the large spinning object pointed at Back to Rock III. Go for the sides and rear, attempt to damage the forked bit of the lifter so he can't get under as easily.
With any luck the front end of Shego will fit nicely between the forks and I can hit the front of him before he lifts me.

Ooh with this website update I can once again actually log in for the first time in a long long time! In honour of this turn of events I will actually post some tactics for a change! At least for those opponents whose stats I can locate in my currently semi-concious state... which it turns out is just Servan't Aprrentice..... oh well...
Black Panther vs Servan't Assistant:
It's fairly long, it's got a high ground clearance and a soft underbelly, should be a fairly nice opponent for the old flip over and perforate stomach tactic.
Sheer Heart Attack 2 (3) vs. Revenge of Theseus: Avoid the front and be all over it like a pack of termites. Push and shove and flip it OOTA, push into house robots or push it into the pit.
Imhotep (14) vs. Apocalypse II: Avoid the front and go for the sides or back, create sparks, and flip it over lots using the drum. Push into house robots also, and the pit. In short: BE AS AGGRESSIVE AS POSSIBLE.
BugaBOOM vs. Cryoseism: Spin up, and be aggressive towards the opponent. Do NOT allow any chances to attack and use the pushing power and the bowl weapon as much as I can. Push into house robots and try to push it into the pit.
Kraze vs. Mad Dash 2.0: Again, BE AGGRESSIVE, PUSH WITH POWER, and rush the opponent into the house robots, and possibly the pit.

Stormbringer vs. Flick of the Wrist
He might be fast, but Stormbringer's shape means he'll have some trouble actually controlling me with his forks. I should be able to escape if he tries to lift me up, and from the looks of the CAD, my drum can go directly between the forks and knock him up into the air. Basically use my confusing shape to slither away if he tries to use his forks, it's very unlikely my wheels WON'T be in contact with the ground, and bring the drum to bear on him as much as possible - the angles should mean I can catch him nicely and send him flying Or bend something enough to jam up a critical component and stop him moving. Avoid hazards, especially the pit, but I thought that would be a bit of a given.
MiDAS vs. Axeon 4.0
I'm more confident with this one, I have the lifting arms up front to help me slip underneath him and take his wheels off the ground. From there, I should be able to bring the axe down as a clamp, then drag him around to the hazards. If I'm feeling lucky, turn him over when the axe is not retracted. Killerhurtz had problems in this situation, and I'm wondering if the same will befall Axeon. There's also a nice flat top side for me to put some holes in if I get the opportunity, but I'm just hoping to drag him around and dump him in the pit, to be honest.
Cryoseism vs. BugaBOOM
Okay, I'll be looking to evade him until my weapon's up to speed to start with - that heavy angled disc will surely mess up his turning, especially when it's going at full speed. Warhead spent a lot of time skittering about pointlessly on the front end. His weaponry is confined to the front of his machine, so on a hit, he'll be spun around, exposing his more vulnerable sides and rear. This will probably also happen when he tries turning or slowing down, as BugaBOOM tilts forward and the disc starts spinning it around pointlessly. Take any opportunity I can to shred his sides and rear up - he will ALWAYS have to make contact with my weapon, I won't his. Do not go to the hazards, do not collect 200 units of whatever your currency may be.
Kraze vs. Mad Dash 2.0
I'm guessing Mad Dash is very similar to Flick of the Wrist. Except green. Thankfully, Kraze is also green (sort of), so they both cancel out. I'm guessing he'll slide about slightly and compromise on control if he has a turning circle of zero. Or shred his wheels up unnecssarily. Either way, I should have a control/manouverability advantage with my 2WD system.The suction fan keeps my skirts flush with the ground, so he's not getting under me. I can get straight underneath him more or less everywhere bar the forks, so do that and toss him around with gay abandon. My suction fan replenishes the air used up in flipping, so I should theoretically never run out, but hold back if it becomes apparent I'm losing power. Sooner or later he's going to end up either in the pit or out of the arena. Side name will be a nice blue for this fight. Like the sky he shall be flying through, and other such comments relating to me flipping him about a lot.
I'll be getting some fights up on the weekend. Expect Heat A to go by pretty quickly. :)

The axe is extremely potent, run off dual 3kg CO2 tanks and will surely leave your hopes punctured! Armoured in titanium and vanadium and run off of a pair of LMC motors to give it superb pushability, this mobile will make your progress naught but a failure. :proud:

This monstrosity (and we mean that in the most endearing way!) is basically a large aluminium drum situated between two Titanium triangular panels with domes on the sides of those to prevent strandings. The drum has 12 teeth and can spin up to 2450rpm, capable of dealing large damage. However, its drivetrain can only ensure it moves at minimal speed. Could there be a tremor within this newcomer already? :proud:

One year later - we have lift-off! Let's get it on!
Mobile Failure is out like an angry hornet, buzzing about and trying to get around to the newcomer's sides! And at the moment she looks to be succeeding! The minimal drive, coupled with Delirium Tremors' powerful spinning drum, is really taking its toll on the robot's ability to spin about! A glorious day for the 1st seed this is, as Tracy quickly finds a side to attack and wedges under it! But even with the compromised drive, Zarte is still able to get out of that fairly easily by turning backwards, and Mobile Failure flies right into the drum! There is the unmistakeable sound of aluminium drum hitting titanium armour, and the audience clap their hands to their ears! But lo! the drum's spinning but Mobile Failure's still kicking! Just on its back. :proud: But it rights itself and once again is on the attack! Perhaps Zarte was right in not needing much drive after all, though! Mobile Failure tries to keep to the sides of Delirium Tremors, but the big robot slides out of Tracy's grip like a wet soap bar! WHAP! Mobile Failure is on its back again! But you know what? It doesn't look like it's doing much damage, if any, to the tough exterior of the Canadian bot! Perhaps there is internal damage? We'll have to see! Tracy continues her side attack, but it's not bearing much fruit as she continues to get - WHOA! What was that?! Delirium Tremor's drum has stopped! And there's why - Mobile Failure fired its axe into the drum! It doesn't look like it did any damage to the drum, but the drum seems to have jolted the axe somewhat! Nonetheless, the drumbot is now under Tracy's control and she manages to drive it straight into the pit release button! Off goes that siren, signalling the first pit opening of the tournament! But at that, Delirium Tremors finally manages to squirm away from the pseudo-champ's grip, and drive off into the center of the arena, spinning its drum up! Zarte isn't going down without a fight!
Mobile Failure is on the prowl, and once again proves its superior mobility, but simply cannot gain purchase on whatever little sides Delirium Tremors has, and suffers another heavy blow. This one doesn't quite tip Mobile Failure over, but Delirium Tremors moves in again and this time DOES manage to invert Mobile Failure, leaving the Canadian inches from the pit it itself opened! Zarte hastily tries to smack Tracy in there, but in a hilarious display, the combined hit and self-right sends Mobile Failure OVER the pit and on the other side of it! What sheer luck! Even moreso since the axe seems to be working again! Zarte is nowhere near finished and moves around the pit to attack. Tracy slams into the front of one of the pods and takes another hit, but has the effect she wanted - Delirium Tremors spins away and the other pod goes over the pit! Zarte panics and tries to work his way out, but a shove from a recovered Mobile Failure sends him down, ending his Crash & Burn campaign!
Cease!
Mobile Failure 2.5 keeps mobile onto the next round, while Delirium Tremors 1.42 falls victim to a Fissure attack. It goes out.

This vicious axebot is nearly all armoured in Hardox! It has a front spatula to aid in getting under other robots and its pushing power is your standard fare. It also has taken steps to prevent itself being stranded. The axe, however, isn't as powerful by today's standards and could be its downfall.
C&B1: Made the Heat H Final only to lose a tight judges' decision to the soon-to-be champ Salamander III
C&B2: Entered the 2nd round of the Series Semi-Finals, scrapped by Grand Finalist S.U.N.C.U.S.T. by a 45-30 JD
C&B3: Again made the Semi-Final 2nd round, this time spending the whole match being flipped all over the place by eventual silver-medallist Achilles until going over the fence.
C&B4: Shocked out in the first round by a persistent STAT.

The third robot with an axe in this heat is a walker! It has other unique properties as well, such as the Fibreglass/Garolite armour, the high speed by walker standards, and calcium silicate fireproofing. The armour is stated to be weak, but the cross-bracing of the 2014 aluminium alloy chassis helps deal with that.

Welcome to a new arena, lads! DeGroot Keep! Yarrr!
Killotine is immediately away after the first button of the Keep! Broken Wings however is able to keep pace with the fellow axebot of Glasgow... until Killotine's higher top speed allows it to get away! From there Killotine hits the button, and the Control Point A is captured! Familiar territory, no? Now Killotine is blocked entirely by Broken Wings. Steve merely drives straight into the newcomer and drives the axe down onto the top of Broken Wings... but barely a puncture is caused! And then Broken Wings' own axe responds - by placing a large dent in the Hardox armour of Killotine! This however has not stopped Killotine's spatula getting under the front forks of Broken Wings, and Killotine shoves him all the way across the lower arena into the wall! Broken Wings bounces off the wall, but as he tries to get his bearings back, Killotine is after the other button! Joey can see the plan already and simply goes and waits by the front gate. Ping! Control Point B's button is pushed and the area has been captured! The gate opens! And Broken Wings backs through it! Killotine is quick to follow, but this time, his spatula cannot defeat the forks! Broken Wings brings its axe down! There's another dent in the Hardox, although not as large as the last one. In response Killotine is firing its own axe, but other than a few extremely small punctures, it's doing absolutely nothing to Broken Wings! Down again and again comes the axe, and now Killotine's top armour looks like a series of mini-mines were detonated on top of it! :proud: Eventually Broken Wings shoves him into the wall of the Keep and continues firing away until he's forced to let Killotine go. By then Killotine is moving quite slowly! Broken Wings moves backwards to the ramp, but then finds he cannot go up it - he slides down! Oh dear, what a pity, what a shame. It's not like he's lost the battle, though - Killotine is continuing to moving really sluggishly indeed! Broken Wings takes the initiative and continues to pulp Killotine's top armour as if it were pancake batter! Sensing the end might have come now, Joey backs his machine off and sees if Killotine can move... and it can't! And The Watcher is in the Keep himself, and he moves over to deliver Killotine the death knell!

SHA2 vs Revenge of Theseus!
He has got sloped sides which is... fine, actually, for my drum. My weapon can tackle slopes just fine... and damage them well. Machines with flat sides tend to get toppled over by vertical spinners, but with slopes that effect is less... so more energy can go into actually DAMAGING the thing! Either outright damaging the TOUGH armour, or the insides through shock damage. My tracks should give me the agility to keep that weapon facing him at all times... and its a WIDE weapon... not one dodged easily. IF he ever flips me, make sure he flips me at the drum, to give that flipper a beating while doing so... and then come in again right away for SHA's invertability is nearly unparallelled. Drum, drum, drum, and get him down through the pit that surrounds the arena whenever the opportunity arises.
Tactics
WhipCoil vs Green Hornet
Use the plow. Charge at him and scoop him up, then shove him into walls, hazards, house bots etc until he dies.
ABitW vs Assegain
Box rush. Try to get under him, but definitely try to slam at full speed into the weapon on top. It seems flimsy and maybe with a good-timed charge I could knock it off. Be as aggressive as possible, try to get under him and slam him around.
Coldforge vs Psychosis
A seed, huh? I'm not scared (okay maybe a little). Spin up and then charge at full speed. With any luck I can damage him more than he can me and hopefully break the spinner after a few blows. We're such similar designs that it could come down to sheer luck or a rookie mistake.
Compression vs Preda Raptor
Clamp vs Clamp. I'm going to charge out at him, then get underneath and try to grab him and lift before he can do anything. His jaws don't really seem the right shape to clamp me, so I really don't have much to worry about there. If I can get under and start tossing him around I should be fine.
Sigh.
Well I know I'm going to get some complaints for even mentioning this, but... there's basically nothing holding up the Fanfic section anymore. Martijn, I know you keep saying that this place dies and revives in cycles, but I don't think it's reviving this time. Unless some sort of MIRACLE happens, that is. Who even cares about this area of the forum anymore? :(
This in itself has made me lost the motivation to complete this tournament fully. There is absolutely no more interest, save a few people from other forums. OTHER FORUMS. And with this, I'd like to hereby announce my official retirement from FRA Fanfic after I do something quick with this tournament. It's been a slice. Really.
If any of you really feel that this is unfair, drop me a message and I'll explain my reasoning in further depth. I don't bite. :) But right now, pretending that FRA Fanfic is going to suddenly boom would be optimistic to the point of foolishness, I fear.

Broken Wings used its axe to pound the utter tar out of poor Killotine: EVO, who had to settle for another Round 1 exit to the chagrin of builder Steven McGregor.

In the end it was Mobile Failure's shoves to the bumper hazards and constant pounding on top of Broken Wings that gave it the KO, but it nearly suffered one itself!

The Lumina Cloth arena wasn't too kind for the 3rd seed, and Revenge of Theseus shoved it out after a minute.
O.I.D. vs. G.R.O.S.S.
Not a good start for the "newcomer" Josh Noel. O.I.D. managed to get to the sides and ravage it.

Revenge of Theseus vs. O.I.D.
Samuel Park gains further ground in the Lumina Cloth arena by shoving his 2nd spinner in a row out.

Gabriel V (5) vs. Pyrrha
Gabriel managed to flip Pyrrha out of the arena very early on, and then took on Asterix Anarchius and tipped him over too!
WhipCoil vs. The Green Hornet
In the battle of greens, only one came out on top: WhipCoil. The Green Hornet was subjected to all the Casino Night Zone hazards and dismembered unpleasantly.

Gabriel V (5) vs. WhipCoil
Unfortunately there wasn't much of Gabriel to grab, so WhipCoil lowered the jaws completely. This gave him the leverage he needed to get back in the game after being shoved to and fro by the tricky seed, and allowed him to overthrow Gabriel in the judges decision.
Heat D
Venus Fly Trap II (7) vs. CrOoKeD EvO
The Land of Confusion arena reared its ugly visage in this heat, and CrOoKeD utilized this by tossing Venus into the corner thrusters, which sent him very high indeed. After several of these unpleasant air rides, the impacts caused something within the 7th seed to break. CrOoKeD moved on!
Another Brick in the Wall vs. Assegain
Sadly Assegain's weapon worked nothing the way it wanted to against this particular opponent and it was rammed all over the Battlegrounds until eventually falling into the pit.
Heat D Final
CrOoKeD EvO vs. Another Brick in the Wall
Lumina Cloth arena, so you'd think a rammer would win this, correct? No sir. CrOoKeD managed to outmanoevure the crafty Badnik machine, flip it once, and wedge it to drive to the edge, and dump it down!

LockJaw Epidemic (9) vs. Gehenna 2
So far it's been a seed massacre... LockJaw was looking to put an end to that, and succeeded in feeding Gehenna to Casino Night's bumper hazards. Thus, also succeeding in winning the match by KO!
Flick of the Wrist vs. Stormbringer
NFX's FRA career didn't have the best start at all. Stormbringer was shoved all around DeGroot Keep and within a few minutes was unable to move and left to the mercy of the house robots.

LockJaw Epidemic (9) vs. Flick of the Wrist
And sadly the seed massacre continued. Seemingly nothing could stop Flick of the Wrist, and LockJaw was slammed into the Battlegrounds' pit early on.

Mornington Crescent (11) vs. BIACS By Popular Demand
A quick win for Team Braveheart as BIACS was turned into shredded wheat before 45 seconds had passed.
Smashy Smashy vs. System Shock 4.0
A shove later and that was it for Smashy Smashy. He just couldn't hold his own on the Lumina Cloth arena.
Heat F Final
Mornington Crescent (11) vs. System Shock 4.0
In an incredible shock, System Shock was knocked out after several blows which took their toll on the chassis and dislodged a motor. Only after Mornington Crescent had been given a full-hazard tour of the Land of Confusion arena though. A seed broke the trend!

Bloody Frigid (13) vs. Maelstrom
The number 13 claims another victim... its seed-holder! Maelstrom OOTA'd Bloody Frigid in barely 15 seconds!
Compression vs. Preda Raptor
Badnik was right about Compression being unable to grab much, but it didn't matter because Compression got under Preda Raptor every single time until the end of the match, where Preda Raptor was pitted.
Heat G Final
Maelstrom vs. Compression
However, Compression's claws were a fatal hindrance as Maelstrom got under one, popped it up, and shoved Compression into Casino Night hazards the entire match until Lewis' clamper gave out from all the abuse.

Nidhogg³ (15) vs. Revolver Ocelot
Try as it might, Nidhogg couldn't get a good grip on Ocelot and spent all the match chasing it around and taking damage. At the end it was moving rather slowly and that did it in as Ocelot won the decision based on damage dealt.
MiDAS vs. Axeon 4.0
At the other end of the spectrum, these two axebots came to blows akin to the matches in the first heat. MiDAS' versatility, however, would eventually get the better of Axeon and Andy's bot got pushed over the edge of the Lumina area.

Revolver Ocelot vs. MiDAS
An arena that would have favoured MiDAS let it down here. MiDAS hounded Ocelot all around DeGroot Keep but kept having its front forks smacked away, and they were incredibly bent. On the other hand, it managed to damage Ocelot's weapon array, but Ocelot then was able to use its rear end without fear of MiDAS' front forks, and shove MiDAS around. Ocelot won another tight JD.

Genocide (16) vs. Wedga Ennea
Genocide was flipped all around the shop before it could probably spin-up. Wedga did accidentally hit one of the Casino Night bumpers and get smacked away, but after taking three blows from Genocide was able to get both it under control, and the match. Man, the seeds get no love, do they?
S.O.T.A.R. v2 vs. Darkestar
Alas, poor Darkestar, yeh were too young! S.O.T.A.R. proved too powerful and ripped the tracked vertical spinner to shreds.

Wedga defeats its second spinner in a row by pinning it on the side of the Land of Confusion arena before taking too much damage.

Imhotep (14) vs. Apocalypse II
Apocalypse does away with the seed with another OOTA, killing off yet ANOTHER seed. It then tried and failed to flip King Leer, another a few smacks from the enraged house robot.
Hypertension 4 vs. Druid 3.0
Hypertension 4 joined its eventual next opponent in the OOTA (possibly) club by tossing Druid 3.0 out after a surprisingly long contest in the Lumina Cloth arena.

The hardest judges decision in the whole series. Incredibly evenly matched. Both had their share of flips, both took damage from the house robots, and both traversed DeGroot Keep like champs. But only one moved on, and via aggression, it was... APOCALYPSE II.

Psychosis (12) vs. Coldforge
The first hit itself killed both robots... until the judges saw that Psychosis was twitching, therefore showing signs of life.
BugaBOOM vs. Cryoseism
A much better contest for NFX than he previous attempt, as Cryoseism messed Samuel's Park bugbot up bad before pushing it (and itself) down the pit.

Unfortunately Psychosis didn't recover well from the previous match and the first giant hit took it out immediately, leaving Cryoseism to move on.

Lime-y (10) vs. Munch
The surprisingly efficient Munch disposed of the 10th seed fairly quickly via a drop-out from the Lumina Cloth arena. Lime-y was just too lengthy to manoeuvre around the attack well.
V For Vendetta vs. Truth or Consequences
Not Lewis' best moment. V was tossed all around the DeGroot Keep and finally pinned up against a wall it couldn't right itself from. Truth or Consequences then became the first robot to take out both house robots this tournament!

Munch vs. Truth or Consequences
Despite ToC's bulky size, Munch was able to latch on just as easily as last match and feed it to the Casino Night bumpers, knocking a few batteries out of place. Running on half power, ToC soon was KO'd.

Under Pressure [8] vs. Equinox II
Under Pressure pitted its foe very quickly indeed, in a record 9 seconds. Shunt then came in and pitted IT! ...and then fell on top of the competitors for some reason.
Slammer VI vs. All Bar Some
Translational spinners for the win! Slammer was sent back to the slammer via a KO through shock damage.

Judges decision we went to, since Under Pressure couldn't grab All Bar Some properly, but neither could All Bar Some effectively take the seed out of commission. Jordan took the decision via, amazingly, control.

Alex Holt finally made some noise in this tourney, flipping and axing Servant into a hash that was then fed to the Battlegrounds' killsaws.
Kraze vs. Mad Dash 2.0
I scream, you scream, we all scream... for OOTA!!! And that's just what Kraze gave us. 2 of them, in fact! Mad Dash went out... and then Dead Metal, one of the harder robots to simply invert, followed! Team DarkZlayerz rep Count Bleck then gave Kraze a nasty scar for its trouble.

That's about all the noise Alex Holt would make. Kraze racks up its 3rd OOTA with a flip over the DeGroot Keep wall.

Achilles (4) vs. I.A.N.
Remember I said Alex Holt was done making noise? He wasn't. He really wasn't. Achilles actually managed to get I.A.N. beached on top of one the Casino Night bumpers. He then activated the roulette which let Sir Killalot into the arena. Killalot then grabbed I.A.N. and let him down... only for Achilles to barge back in and flip I.A.N. into another bumper, knocking its failsafe out!
Vertigo vs. Frustum
Vertigo racked up an "OOTA" as well. The Lumina Cloth spikes popped up and would have prevented Frustum's demise had Vertigo not sent him so high.

Achilles (4) vs. Vertigo
Two similar robots... Achilles went with the hydraulic system this time. It allowed him to control Vertigo and send him to hazards efficiently, netting him and the seed team the KO and win!

Wedge Devolution (2) vs. Eye of Ran II
Both Steve and Joey have one bot left in the competition, and everything for them depends on this match... it went to a judges decision, who gave it to Eye of Ran II based on damage.
Back to Rock III vs. Shego
The S3-lookalike was lifted over the fence by Back to Rock late in the match, after taking some heavy damage from Shego's blade.

Eye of Ran II vs. Back to Rock III
Back to Rock's front holds up well to the spinning blade and eventually Martijn gets it stopped and dumps EoR II over the edge of the Lumina Cloth arena, thereupon ending Joey's tournament run.

Series Semi-Final 1, Round 1
CrOoKeD EvO vs. Achilles (4)
Achilles goes with the pneumatic system and gets another OOTA down to record in his personal records. The seeds haven't given up on championship glory yet!
Kraze vs. Apocalypse II
The battle of four-bar flippers! However, Apocalypse's better controlling of the opponent led to massive flippings which managed to take their toll. Not on Kraze's drivetrain, but its own flipper. It didn't run out of gas, but ceased to work. Once inverted, it was counted out.
WhipCoil vs. Flick of the Wrist
WhipCoil ends the rammer's reign of terror by getting around the forks and grabbing the front corners to deliver Flick's wheels to the Casino Night bumpers. Flick's control was compromised after that and WhipCoil easily won the JD.
All Bar Some vs. Wedga Ennea
Andy himself even thought he was doomed, but his robot proved him wrong as Wedga managed to stack All Bar Some in the DeGroot Keep arena just a minute into the match.
Round 2
WhipCoil vs. Achilles (4)
Major upset - after being flipped around for most of the match, WhipCoil pulls off a Battlegrounds pitting with 10 seconds in the match! Dylan moves on.
Wedga Ennea vs. Apocalypse II
Another late-match win. Apocalypse tosses Wedga all around the arena, but loses gas for the flipper. Wedga then tosses it over. As Apocalypse tries to use its lifting barbs, Wedga pins it against the Land of Confusion arena's wall. Wedga is the pin master! And master of this match, as Andy gets his second Grand Final appearance in a row.

Series Semi-Final 2, Round 1
Maelstrom vs. Cryoseism
Do you remember what X-Terminator 3 did to St. Agro's wheel? Well Cryoseism completely removed Maelstrom's wheels here, removing them from the tournament.
Revenge of Theseus vs. Munch
Munch was flipped and then flipped over Lumina Cloth's wall of spikes before it even had a chance to self-right! Samuel Park moves on and Jordan Brown, sadly, is out of the tournament...
Back to Rock III vs. Mornington Crescent (11)
Back to Rock continues its reign of dominance over powerful spinners and gangs up on it with the house robots in DeGroot Keep. Despite this, it nearly lost the JD, but aggression swung it for Martijn.
Revolver Ocelot vs. Mobile Failure 2.5 (1)
Like MiDAS before it, Mobile Failure was unable to get Revolover Ocelot under control. Furthermore, it took untold beatings to the unprotected sides and was out of commission before the end, eliminating the last of the seeds.
Round 2
Back to Rock III vs. Revenge of Theseus
A very back-and-forth match between two excellent robots, but the resulting JD was given to Back to Rock, very slightly but in all categories.
Revolver Ocelot vs. Cryoseism
There was a lot more to hit on Ocelot then on Cryoseism. Eventually a wheel got knocked off and that took out Ocelot's control and any hope he had of winning. Josh, sadly, did not make a Grand Final.

WhipCoil vs. Back To Rock III
Both incredibly well-controlled robots, but there could only be one winner. Eventually Back to Rock managed to get WhipCoil to the pit, but WhipCoil drove over the lifter and Back to Rock nearly put himself in! As he stopped to reposition, WhipCoil barged in from the side and drove Martijn's robot in!
Wedge Ennea vs. Cryoseism
This really should have been closer, but alas... Cryoseism managed a lot of good hits, but once Wedga Ennea got in there, Cryoseism couldn't escape and it was all over. NFX watched his robot get flipped all over the place and eventually his srimech got disabled by the Casino Night bumpers. Undeterred, Cryoseism tried to spin itself onto its wheels, but in vain, allowing Andy a chance to "defend" his title!
3rd-place Playoff
Cryoseism vs. Back to Rock III
Cryoseism managed to do what no other spinners had and disabled BtR's sawblade after multiple hits. It was as far as he got though, as Back to Rock flipped him over and then took him to the Land of Confusion arena's corner thrusters. A nudge before the flip came altered Cryoseism's trajectory, and Back to Rock got an OOTA, gaining 3rd place! Well done to Nick Fisher and Cryoseism for getting as far as they did though. :)
FINAL BATTLE
WhipCoil vs. Wedga Ennea
We had to use the Battlegrounds for this. No way we can use any other arena for it.
Wedga gained an early advantage by flipping WhipCoil into the killsaws and damaging WhipCoil's tire a bit. After a few flips, WhipCoil then grabbed Wedga's side and fed him to the Discs of Death at the sides of the arena, damaging Wedga's side greatly. Wedga then nearly managed to flip WhipCoil over the fence, but WhipCoil stayed in. It used its plow to push Wedga into one of the hammer corners, but it didn't do much to Wedga. Wedga brought it back to the killsaws and then WhipCoil really started to lose precise movement. It was still tricky though, because WhipCoil was perfectly invertible. WhipCoil then grabbed hold of Wedga as Wedga was trying to get to the wheels, and nearly shoved it down the pit! But the loss of proper mobility meant that WhipCoil missed the pit, threw one of his OWN wheels over it, and delivered Wedga to Matilda, who lifted Wedga up with her tusks and tried to throw Wedga in the pit WITH WHIPCOIL IN THE WAY. WhipCoil miraculously managed to escape the pit, but in doing so knocked Wedga loose and allowed Wedga to get at his side, but WhipCoil survived ANOTHER OOTA attempt. As this happened, WhipCoil again managed to get its plow under Wedga's side, and SHOVE IT INTO THE OPEN PIT!!!

Well that's it friends. That's the last ever Crash & Burn tournament. I wish I could SAY I'm sorry it had to come to this, but... yeah. :/ I do legitimately apologize for leaving out the other-weights, but I didn't have enough entrants or stats.
I'll still be as active as ever on other forums, but here marks my official retirement from at least tournament writing. If activity peaks up again, I'll still compete, still redesign my machines. But from here on in, I'm putting the pen down.
I'm at least glad I managed to get the tournament series as far as this, and I thank EVERYBODY who entered in each and every one of them. A really big thank you to you, guys. :)

Woot! I finally won something with WhipCoil!
Well that was a tad disappointing a turn out... Congratulations to the winners though!
Can I make a suggestion though - it's clear that people are a bit too busy in general to be putting up the size of tournament we have had in the past, or consistancy, but I don't think that necessarily means there is no interest. I'll create a quick thread about what I'm think to draw it to more people's attention...
First of all, congratulations to Dylan for winning the tournament. You deserve it, buddy. :)
Second of all, I am very sad that Kody is calling it quits with tournament writing, but I am hoping he's staying around the forum. He is an awesome individual, and a classy guy.
Finally, w00t! I made to the second round of the series semi's!
