Hi guys. I know this thread is oldish now, but I just have a question.
Would a 200W 24v electric scooter motor (max RPM at 24v is around 2750) be any good for an axe? All I know is the thing packs one heck of a punch with nothing attached, it's got some serious torque.

Sure, it has been done before, and it can be quite a good axe system if the connection between motor and axe is done properly (most of these systems I've seen use chain and sprocket).Quote:

i think it would probably make a good axe motor and come to about £10 with postage jut gear it to like 18:1 or 20:1
