Ok, I talked to Jonno and he said I don't need a reciever battery, could there be another problem or is he wrong?
(Edit) The problem seems to be that the reciever doesn't switch on.
What transmitter have you got? Is it 2.4ghz? If it is it needs to be boundQuote:

tell us what 2.4ghz system you have and the binding proces you use, btw the reciever will need power either from a battery or the robot in order to bind
alex
The system is A Planet T5 Adavnced 2.4 GHZ with a 5 channel transmitter and a 6 channel reciever.
The Binding instructions are as follows:
1) Switch off the transmitter.
2) Connect receiver battery. Press the binding microswitch on the reciever undersurface briefly once with your fingernail or small screwdriver.
3) The reciever status indicator will flash in groups of three.
4) Switch on the transmitter. As the signals are acquired, the binding LED will flash briefly and then glow solidly a few seconds later indicating a successful binding.
5) Operate your model as normal. The Binding LED glows solidly once bound with the transmitter.
Any help?
If your reciever doesn't have a separate battery it'll be run off the robot's main batteries, so you'll have to substitute 'put link in to turn robot on' for 'connect reciever battery'
