Re: H5 speedo / servo driver
Paul, let me know how much you want for your H5 and ill paypal you the money.
The top of my board was filed down because it was to big to fit in the robot lol.. only about a mm of the top of the board but the marking has gone..
Although it would make sense if mine is a 24v one as i bought two at once from Ed hoppit, one is in ploughbot and he runs on 22.2v and doesnt have trouble with it.. and i run on 4cell lipo (14.8v).. although when i got it i remember hooking it up and the LED's did originaly came on from my 4cell lipo...I must of shorted somthing out ages ago and forgotten about it.. That or the christal for the chip might have got damaged- not sure.
Dave gamble's said he'll have a look at it for me, he's repaired a few in the past. ill get him to convert them both to run on 15v if he can aswell as repair it if its broken. Ill keep one as a spair.
In all honesty electronics have never been my strong point. Wiring things up in fine with but when it comes to messing about with circuit boards and pic's i never seem to win.
Regards
Dave
p.s. any chance of a return for TKM2?
Re: H5 speedo / servo driver
Thanks for the link Alan.
Dave, Board tested and works in speedo mode fine, I didn't try the feedback mode. Drop me a line at paul(at)m2xt(dot)net with an offer if you are still interested. As for a return of TKM2, I need to return first! I still have it on the shelf but the last job I did on it was to take out the Feather Golds and put in some smaller motors as it was over weight. After that it was not as good as it couldn't do the power slides any more. Also it would not stand a chance against todays spinners or flippers but I still intend to get it going again for sentimental reasons. Of course with the new weight limit, I could armour it but no, as far as I'm concerned, real British feathers are 12kg max, I don't want to build to any of your over-weight American rules  .
Re: H5 speedo / servo driver
lol nice attitude, i wasnt fond of the weight change either. Dont see the point as i could get 360 in weight with 4wd, 4kg disc and a selfwrighter. no real need for the exstra but ah well.
Will send the e-mail now paul. Thanks for the help :)
