Most Original Design

Hum...I quite like Venus Fly Trap. Something that can flip, clamp, crush, push with that nifty weapons system. Steve-Os still got it. :proud:

Best Design

The May Tracks Has You. Its strategy to flip and rip tyres works exceedingly well IMO. :proud:

Most Overrated Vapourbot

That would be breaking the rules... :proud:

Most Underrated Vapourbot

Nitro-Gene 5.0, just because it was made by a guy whos developed somewhat of a bad reputation doesnt mean its crap, though it has come a long way from crappy incarnations. Slaying Mantis F and Monsoon Magnum came close because they underachieve quite a bit too.

Joey McConnell, Id say.

Best Designer

Alex Holt, he makes bots that win and look cool doing it. :proud:

Most Overrated Vapourboteer

Hmm...toughie this. Id give it to Chezza (who now goes by the username No Wai) for hes actually bothered to participate and his bots, though good they are, dont seem to be getting the rep they deserve.

Most Improved Vapourboteer

Paul Cuomo. His bots may be still sub-par, but not nearly as much as they were before. :proud:

Idiot of the Year

Andrew Jackson. Lay off the cider, willya?! Youll kill yourself. :P

Best Sportsman

Martijn Benschop, he always keeps a cool head.

Alex Holts render of Slammer VI looked really nice, I must say.

For sheer annoyance of other people Im gonna say Wedge Devolution because even though its old, you cant ignore the fact that it is ridiculously successful and manages to keep up with the newer bots. Just wondering what Steve will do with it for the next redesign...oh yes, Steve, theres ALWAYS something you can do with it. :P

And yeah Martijn, Absolution got voted in a category that pretty much has to prove its the best walker in 2008 (like in battle), and I can think of a few walkers that have been much better, such as, yes, Hex Appeal (as it actually did fight, and its shown that its a damn fine walker :P), so why Sam and Ben have voted for Absolution I have no idea. :S

Then may I point out Kody that in the best new vapour catogery YOU yourself also voted for a robot that never competed so far, even tough 2008 had litteraly dozens of good new vapours that DID compete :proud:

... same goes for best front-hinged, weve all yet to see Gabriel IV in action :proud:

But its predecessors have done quite well, so Im assuming G4briel Gabriel IV is going to do just as well. :proud:
