OK, dont tell me what needs ditching. :lame:
Replace SUCKbot with For from Split Decision, if thats OK.
NAME- FOR
SHAPE- wedge with sloped sides (ala Spawn Again)
COLOUR- gold, with blue thumbs up on the rear
WEIGHT- around 80kg
DIMENSIONS- 75cm X 60cm X 25cm
SPEED- 10mph, with Tornadoey acceleration
TURNING CIRCLE- 0m
GROUND CLEARANCE- 0mm at front (thanks to red spatula), rises up to 15mm at the rear
ARMOUR- 7mm Grade 5 titanium
MOVEMENT- four inner wheels
POWER- 2 x 750-watt Bosch GPA motors, running at 36v (should give around 7hp)
WEAPONS- The brute force factor and the many Mute-style spikes on the wedge. The idea is to power under the other competitors, skewer them on the hooked prongs and slam them around the ring to my hearts content
SRIMECH- a thin blue arm on the sloped front. The arm is forward-hinged and uses a very basic low-pressure CO2 system ala Firestorm. This should produce around 30 flips per match, more than enough for all me self-righting needs
NOTES- flies the Scotland flag
STRENGTHS- strong pushing power, great armour, fast, good manoueverability, great at slippin under others
WEAKNESSES- the weight issue, lack of proper weaponry

Right, the draw:
Fight 1:
Flyght Plan vs. Monsoon Lite
Liar 2m vs. For
The arena for the semis will be the bog standard RW arena, as I havent finished detailing the new arena
Unwarrated, unasked for and unnecessary predictions:
Monsoon Lite to flip Flyght Plan OOTA
For to shove, dominate, and pit Liar 2m
Will there be more of this classic HW type stuff once this is finished, or is this a one-off? Id have entered if I wasnt sleeping.
Depends how well it does.
well, I didnt lose any weapon power when changing Liar from 100 to 80 kg, so I think I will have no problem flipper an 80 kg robot like For OOTA!
Good luck Stev-O
Ram it, hit it, push it.
Axleflippers like Liar and Wheely Big Cheese are certainly powerful, but their bodies and flippers are usually quite narrow and sometimes find it hard to get under someone. Remember Chaos 2 VS Wheely Big Cheese?
The plan is to charge the sides and simply smack it into the arena wall. If Im lucky, the barbs on the wedge will snag the wheels or something and I can ram it a bit more before it shakes free.
Basically, stay away from the front with my superior control and Tornadoesque speeds, and try to dump it down a hole. Assuming there is one. If not, just try and bludgeon it to death. :proud:
Get Monsoon Lite around the sides, scoop him onto the spatula so he cant get anywherer no matter what he does, and toss over the fence!
Tactics: Out-run it and get around the back of the robot, slam it into the arena walls and flip it, If needs be, activate the pit and use my superior pushing ability to push it down the pit.
The Killer Spin-Of Easter Frog Tournament
The format is easy, 4 classic weight heavyweights enter the arena, and only 1 will come out the winner.
Round 1:
Flyght Plan vs. Monsoon Lite
Liar 2m vs. For
The first robot into the first arena today is Flyght Plan, entered by Kody, this classic heavyweight weighs in at 80 kg, it is a half-dome, where the front end is a nasty looking flipper with a nasty looking wedge, however it can only go 12 mph and has a high ground clearance around the sides. Also the plastic body might not hold up well against a spinner
The 2nd robot into the first arena today is Monsoon Lite, entered by vapourbot legend Danny, this lighter version of Monsoon is powered by some Lems, has some plastic armour, and a nasty flipper. It can go up-to 28 mph, but it is hard to control at those speeds. In addition the flipper has limited CO2, but with a powerful flipper and a decent drive system, Dan hopes to kill off the other machine before he runs out of gas.
The first robot into the second adjournment arena today is Liar 2m, a modified version of Martijn€™s Liar 2, apart from the motors, the armour and has lost the rear defence; it is a box with a large flipper attached, with twin side wedges. However the nose is long even with the side wedges, and with only 2 wheels, it won€™t be pushing anybody fast. Although the armour should hold up against any spinners.
The 2nd robot into the 2nd arena today is For, 80% of Steven€™s Spilt Decision, this machine has a wedge with a front hinged flipper designed to self-right the machine only, as Steve is hoping that his Tornado style punching acceleration is enough to get underneath and trap robots on the hooks, it can only go 10 mph, but it gets there quickly on it€™s 4 wheel drive system. The armour is strong and should re-stand punishment from any spinners.
All 4 robots are wheeled into the 2 arenas; the safety clips are released as all 4 robots are made live, due to a fault in the timing systems, the fight in arena 2 will start 60 seconds after the fight in arena 1 has finished.

Monsoon Lite doesn€™t hang around and is straight out of the blocks, accelerating up-to speed, as Flyght Plan dodges the first attack, Kody spins around as Monsoon Lite comes storming at the half-doom once again and once more Flyght Plan has to dance out of the way by the storming Monsoon.
Dan spins Monsoon Lite around and comes in with another attack, trying to catch Kody€™s machine out, as Flyght Plan has to dive out of the way and gives chase to Monsoon, Dan€™s robot soon outruns Flyght Plan, spinning around in a large arc to come straight back onto the attack, as Flyght Plan dives out of the way once more and fires the flipper as Monsoon passes in an attempt to get Monsoon to spin out.
Monsoon Lite turns around once more and charges like a raging bull when faced with a waving white flag towards Flyght Plan, as once more Kody flicks the wrist and makes Flyght Plan dive out of the way and gives chase to Monsoon Lite. Danny puts on more power to clear away from Flyght Plan as he turns around to face Flyght Plan, but suddenly Monsoon Lite spins out of control as the grip is lost as Monsoon spins away as Flyght Plan almost gets in it€™s first attack, Dan was looking worried but he seems to have got his monster under control, as the wind and rain is howling outside.
Flyght Plan gets ready as Monsoon Lite comes in yet another attack, as Kody dives out of the way, Dan is thinking at what to do to get Monsoon into play as he spins around and charges towards Flyght Plan again, this time counter-dodging the dodge by Flyght Plan as Monsoon slams straight into the side of Flyght Plan as the flipper fires sending Flyght Plan onto it€™s back.
Kody self-rights quickly, but not quick enough for Monsoon Lite who is charging Flyght Plan towards the nearest fence and fires the flipper sending Kody€™s machine up and over the fence smashing into protective screens before falling down onto the camera tracks. Monsoon Lite spins around.

Flyght Plan is sent packing as Monsoon Lite moves onto the final, but as the action switches to the 2nd arena, as the announcer says:

For is away, punching up-to speed in a matter of a few decimetres, as Liar is away 2nd of all, getting ready to scoop underneath and launch some robot, as Martijn puts on full power driving towards For. Steve dodges the first attack by Liar and comes back with a counter attack when Liar is turning around, as For dives for cover away but Liar is quick to follow as For is running away, dodging and diving away from Liar, but Martijn is following Steven€™s machine very closely, but is unable to bring the weapon into play as suddenly For breaks free and charges head-first towards Liar.
Martijn spins around not wanting to face For head-on in case the front end of For gets underneath Liar, as Liar spins around and catches For on the side wedge as the flipper fires, sending For away, but Steve was nearly off the flipper, all it does is push For up a bit before landing again and spinning away quickly before Liar can get that launcher into play. Liar gives chase once more, as For dives left and right away from the front end as For spins around and charges towards Liar again, Martijn holds his nerve as For dodges slamming into the rear box of Liar, pushing it backwards, the wheels on Liar are not getting any traction as Liar is pushes into the pit release button.
For has to reverse and suddenly Liar box-rushes it, catching up-to For, charging underneath it and launching the flipper. For goes for a flying lesson, over the arena, before landing on the other side of the arena, in a massive launch, as For self-rights, as some of the frontal spikes have been pushed into the body and some of the spikes have come away from the body, as Liar crosses the arena as For is waiting for it. For dodges away from Liar and tries to come back with another box-rush, but Liar knows the trick by For and catches the robot on the front flipper again and launches For up in the air, but it€™s not in a very good arc, a very tall arc but not very wide as For crashes down, straight onto the arena fence before falling back into the arena, and quickly self-rights.
Look at that damage to the chassis of For, coming down onto that pipe with some force as there is a massive dent going straight across the front, as Liar comes in with another attack, Martijn not happy at wasting a perfect chance at getting into the final, but For dives to one side as both robots come together, the front end of For getting underneath Liar as Martijn fires the flipper to get away from For, but it isn€™t enough as Steve sets the controls to the heart of the sunless pit, another flip from Liar, but it isn€™t enough as it go down the pit.
Cease
For is damaged, the spikes are all bent and broken, but it is into the final against Monsoon Lite.
