FanFic Council

Ummm I didnt mean American writers as in Tony I mean those American writers which are like footballers (British mind you) which only want more and more money not great people like Tony which do great writing for free. I should make myself clearer next time shouldnt I.

In all fairness - come the end of the last series, Scrubs will have run its course, as much as I hate to say it.

Its been a fantastic program airing over all these years but many people are noticing that the storylines are becoming a bit less original, re-using old jokes etc. Surely its better for a great show like that to go out on a high rather than be consigned to the scrapheap when channels are cancelling it because its no longer pulling in the viewers?

So instead of wanting to kill them because they quit while they were ahead (which many people make the mistake of not doing in order to get more money) lets applaud and thank the writers for providing us with some great hilarity and memorable, long-lasting quotes over the years :)

Does FanFic really need a council?

I was thinking the same thing Dave - if we had a council, then there would be arguing all of the time about something thats just for fun.

Paul you have got it all wrong! :proud: Im pretty sure Tim meant American writers as in those that write American TV shows. Not American vapourbot battle writers. And for the record Tony is no longer a member of this forum. So even if Tim was having a pop at Tony (which he wasnt) it doesnt exactly matter.

I beleive this thread is just a joke, but in reality I always was and always will be a supporter of a council for us. There is already arguing all the time, so what difference would it make? I would strongly support a council, but not involving a select group as before, but taking into account everyones opinions on how we could improve. Personally I have many ideas, but lets just see...

Really, Martijn, you seem to think FanFic wont be fun anymore if theres a Council. Lighten up a little, itll be the same.
