which speedos are they?
the motor did turn full power with out me doing it but when i did move it nothing just like before!
Could you translate this for me please!
this is why i didnt post, sorry alexander but i couldnt make sense of your posts.
Others have posted the various probable causes..... but.
Lets lay them out in the step by step approach.
Well test your reciever first.
Disconnect eveything from your reciever ......attach a reciever battery and a R/C servo ....turn on the transmitter and reciever.....see if the servo moves.
Further steps to follow ... once were sure that the transmitter / reciever is working.
ok ill translate, the motor was moving as if it wasnt failsafing kind of way, but the tx was on. after this had stopped i tried moving it using the transmitter and nothing happened, like before i went to basics this any better?
speedos electronize
Ill try that woody and post later
thanks for the help so far
alex
ok if doing the suggested do you need am servos for a am transmitter and do they need to be the same make?
i have tried it with some which arent as above and nothing so..
what would be the next stage after this if it does work?
cheers alex
In general a servo is a servo ..... the freq is irrelevant.
OR ......If you like ......any servo should have worked in your setup.
So .....The problem seems to be that you are not getting a signal from the reciever to the Electronize speedos.
This fits in nicely with your motors initially jumping around ......then failsafing to neutral.
OK..It could be either a fault with the transmitter OR reciever.
Questions
Did the bot work properly ......then stop ..... or has it never worked?
Is your transmitter showing full charge / battery.
Is your reciever battery fully charged.
Have you got any spare crystals for the Transmitter and Reciever?

Another thing that everyone has done on here at some point and havnt worked out for a long time...
Are you sure youve plugged the leads from the servo/speedos in the the right way around?
If not the battery that your plugging into the receiver may not be charged, may be a loose connection in the battery (very common in receiver packs so check that voltage first. If your getting a voltage through the battery, and its plugged in the battery pins, the correct way around and all other leads in the correct way around then you have a problem with your tx/rx. If thats the case, then check with a differentset of crystals, then can stop working if theyve had a knock.
ok answers to the questions
Woodys
yes it did work before at wigan in a way, but since then it hasnt worked
the transmitter is showing full(green)
we are using the battery box thing that comes with the transmitter, and using 4 AA
yes we do have a spare transmitter reciever crystals because we have another transmitter setup exactly like this one

I will checkthe connections but im 99% sure i have checked them, and they were ok
i will try the different crystals, and the leads and post later
