I do remember hearing of an anti-axe device, which the team clamied they werent allowed to use. Thats the vertical bar, isnt it? Wouldnt the anit-razer cage work much better, though? Axes have just as far a reaach as crushers, and from what you describe, the bar sounds like it would limit their invertibility
Nope, Anti-Axe device was a frame shock mounted on go-kart tyres so an axe would never reach the robot.

Ah, I see. Its not exactly the same concept as their Anti-Razer cage, which is what I was imagining. I thought that all their anti weapons would actually prevent the opponent from hitting, not just absorb blows better. From what you describe, Tornado would still be suceptible to spiked axes (Dominator and X-Terminator 1), where the innards would be protected, but thered be nothing stopping them from punching holes in the armour.
