Thanks for your help, guys. I have sent the faulty speedo for repair. I am also getting the external relay modification on both controllers.
As stated above, 9.98UKP for each job.

Im continually amazed at the value for money of the electronise units.. they are just so bloomin cheap.. How do they manage to build so cheap?
If you look inside them, there really isnt much to them. I guess they also buy parts in bulk to get discounts. I love the electronize as they are simple yet effective. Very little to go wrong on them. No offense to sidewinder, IBC etc etc users but I would pick the electronize over them everytime. Then again, I dont run astros etc!
Then again, I dont run astros etc!
Exatcly the reason I use an IBC, otherwise i would probably still use my electronize! i still use one formy lifter :)
I dont like electronizes. Sorry i really dont. I dont like that relay stuff, I dont like the fact it has no mixer internaly. Did I mention I dont like them? :)
They are good value for money i suppose, but for me they are not to my standards. Is rather save up a couple of months to buy a sidewinder then go for electronizes.
Leo, I dont like electronize either for the reasons you mentioned above and they just dont give the power that other do. But I ran a pair in CBF/DBF for 3 years without any failures of anykind.
I like em! The pair in Omega have been in there for a year, and before that were in Alpha for 3 years, and i thrashed them! Apart from a couple of relays ive had to swap theyve never let me down. They only reason i upgraded to the Vantec was for the bigger motors. I personally rate the 15amp CPU version over any of the other electronize (inc. the 30amp ones). Of course Vantecs and sidewinders are going to give better performance but you get what you pay for, and the Electronize seem to better than most in its price range.
I agree with Alan. Budget price and very very reliable. As long as you put external relays on them the Electronize will go forever. They are very hard to blow up unless you have a wiring error.
