Chris L will be happy, your using his robot :)
Save me a position in the featherweights and hobbyweights please :proud:
Well here is my first of two terrors :proud:
Name: KE (Kinetic Energy)
Motivation: 2WD
Speed: 14MPH
Weight: 12kg
Height: 90mm
Length: 480mm
Width: 420mm
Weapon: The weapon is an undercutting 300mm diameter 1.6kg flywheel powered by two OS .30 Rotary 49-PI Wankel Nitro motors @ 3000rpm. Each motor has a peak performance of 1.27BHP at 17000rpm and the relative information can be found here: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXBY72&P=MLhttp://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXBY72&P=ML
The motors have a centrifugal clutch and starter motor added on to prevent any mysterious stalls. The blade sits 0-15mm (Adjustable) from the floor and is designed to go under an opponent and take out the wheels/tracks/legs. The weapon can be raised slightly to the full 15mm where it can then target the opponents armor or skirting. The flywheel is made out of 4mm Hardox 400 for durability.
Drive: 2 x 12v Dewalts running on 14.8v current limited to 80amps each.
Batteries: 1 x 14.8v 6000N Polyquest LiPoly Pack. Ultra Light, Ultra powerful. Has a continous rating of 90amps and peaks of 180amps. Information here: http://robotcombat.com/marketplace_lipoly-pq.htmlhttp://robotcombat.com/marketplace_lipoly-pq.html
Armor: Combination of the following, 3.25mm Hardox rear wedge & wheel guards, 3mm Polycarbonate with 1mm Stainless steel bonded together for the rest. Uses a very light 15mm x 15mm x 2mm box section chassis.
Notes: A miniature version of Mad Dog (http://buildersdb.com/botpics/719.jpghttp://buildersdb.com/botpics/719.jpg) and is invertible. Extremely deadly! Approach with FEAR!!!
mDU will be posted up later once I research the necessary components and finish the idea off.
I MIGHT enter, but Im not promising anything.
The stats for my featherweight (Ram-Raider), lightweight (Little Big Bot) and middleweight (Tom) should be found in the PTT.
My Raptorweight depends whether you allow static weapons or not. If yes, then Ill enter Matamata. If you dont, Ill have to think.
All my heavyweights are 100 kilos or near to it as well, so Ill also have to think.
Your allowed passive weapons.

OK, here is one, hopefully in-weight, if somewhat suicidal, Raptorweight.
Name: Matamata
Weight: 6 kilos
Body Shape: Round, with front cone head
Speed: 23mph
TC: 0
GC: 3mm
Wheels: 2 inner
Armour: 4mm fibreglass
Power: What sort of power would be suitable for a raptorweight? What I do know is that it is very powerful
Weapons: Fixed 15cm spike, twin rear maces which are actually the wrecking balls from The Gauntlet RW toy.
Srimech: Err...
Colour: Brown.
Inspiration: The freshwater turtle of the same name.
Strengths: Very fast and very powerful
Weaknessess: Weak armour and no srimech.
And here is my Classic Heavyweight
ORKA MK1
Weight: 80 kilos
Body Shape: A simple box
Speed: Some 15mph
TC: 0
GC: 5mm, 0mm at front.
Wheels; 6 inner
Armour; 7mm titanium
Power; 3x 12v batteries, powered by a couple of Magmotors
Colour; Black with white patches
Weapons; The robot itself is a weapon. It also has two wedge plates, one at the front, one at the back, for scooping up robots. The one at the front is the right way up, the one at the back is upside down.
Srimech: The robot runs inverted, and the positioning of the wedge plates means that at least one is usable whatever side the robot is on.
Inspiration; Ive always liked Orcas. Adding the K made it sound more dangerous.
Strengths; Power, Invertable
Weaknessess: Hard to turn
Raptor Weight: none
Featherweight: OverDrive
Lightweight: MiniForce
Middleweight: The Steel Sandwich
Classic Heavyweight: Le Nez
OverDrive, MiniForce and Le Nez can be found on my forum. The Steel Sandwich will be the latest version you know of and Ill try to get a Raptor design up later on.
