So you don't need to plug anything into the battery channel on the receiver?
yup no external bec just disconnect the red wire from 1 of the esc so they don't fight each other
Wow, thanks. How does that work?
i think its just basically a bec circuit built into the board that's wired into the input supply and the feeds the required power to the rx via the 3 wire plug
not great with electronics to be honest but the can have all sorts of different voltage circuits running through circuit boards
And by the 'red wire', I assume you mean this (in the blue oval):Attachment 3912
the 1 on the plug that goes into the rx, next to the switch as you only need the white and black wire
I get it now. Thanks.
^Thanks too, mine have just come through today along with my battery charger/balancer (feels like Christmas all over again!) and that's saved me from putting both up at once and cooking the receiver!
What charger do you have?
I've got a Turnigy Accucel 6 I believe it's called, charges up to 6s and I've heard plenty of good things about it. Surprisingly cheap too - only thing that I did get caught out by is the fact that it doesn't actually come with a power supply, which is now on the way from eBay...
