if you are having to use 30mm HDPE then I would suggest a redesign of the bot.
1mm Ti= 4.5mm HDPEQuote:

I am using 20 mm out of choice, the HDPE absorbed everything inertia xl could throw at it and, though it got ripped off cos of my poor attachment methods, withstood a full on NST hit as well. The extra 10mm would allow me to bolt rather than screw the base to the sides making it both stronger and easier to replace if damaged.Quote:

The link above should explain what UHMWPE is sorry for the confusion
Here is a fight with Saint (the one with the big green wheels) the robot has had the same wheels for over 2 years now and they are still fine and only 12mm thick!!

3mm Hardox is on Explosion's base, and (apart from one corner), it survived a full match with NST and is still perfectly flat.
Can you even get 3mm Hardox? I contacted 6 companies for my disc and the minimum they did was 10mm-15mm.
Nope , you never could buy it. What most people call 3mm is actualy 1/8 3.2mm.Quote:

For a disk, I would say 10mm is a nice thickness.Quote:
