I've used the orange one, it worked well, but I prfer the AR500

is there any receiver that will failsafe on all channels for the spektrum dx5e?

any one used these transmitters before and can suggest which is better

Yes it would. I can't comment On the Saturn set but giant cod radio gear plagued me with problems in the past, I now use a dx6i.

well the saturn and the dx5 i'm looking at are from the same shop so will probably go have a look

just came across this tx from our local model shop and was wandering if any1s used them as they sound pretty gd for the price

Seems pretty expensive to me, the giant cod ones look to be doing basically the same thing, although depending on how small their alternative micro controller is it might be good in AW's.

well there are the 3 that im looking at a Saturn.... a dx5 and the hitec
i would have to buy a receiver for the dx5 but the transmitter cost about £45 from the shop

I haven't used any of them i'm afraid, but if you can get the DX5 for £45 you can get compatible RX's for under a tenner.
