While swapping inert hydrogen peroxide for propane or Jet-A fuel has obvious drawbacks
Thats got to be the funniest thing Ive heard today...
My car runs on Propane :), shame it cant jump the queues. Wonder if they do kits for cars :) mind you how long would 50 litres of propane last in a car if these things can only last 33 seconds. Think they have alot of work to do.
With the new Jet A version and 19 mins flight time I could use one to get to work. Cool
Except that my wages wouldnt pay for the fuel or if I could afford one I wouldnt need to go to work.
OOps
Mario bought a toolbox today, with 217 parts, from Ironside. See at my profile.
There was a little present attached. Its standing behind the toolbox.
And its mine.

Clubs banning under 21s. How stupid
Disagree then sign here http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/Ban21clubs/http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/Ban21clubs/
no point in goin out now, u cant do anything, im not standin in the cold jst cos some hippies decide smokings bad for us SIGH!
I think clubs should ban all people under 40!
At least then one (meaning me) can size up the male totty without the risk of cradle snatching :)
ur as old as u feel and cradle snatching aint to bad if there within 5 years and over 16
Speaking as an ex hippy I am delighted that I can now go anywhere I choose and not come home with sore eyes and stinking like an ashtray!
As for us hippies (as of july 1st)deciding smoking is bad for you the lethal effects of smoking have been well known for over 40 years!
Anthony- ...some hippies...? Give me a break! Unless you mean by that scientists, doctors, various other health care experts... Watch a couple of close friends die of lung cancer as I have (and I hope you never have to) and then tell me about how silly bans and health warnings are.
On the less serious side - as an ex-smoker I am probably the worse type of anti-smoking supporter because I come with the added slogan If I can give it up so can you.
Apart from the unpleasant social side, several of my close friends smoke and I dearly wish they would give it up because I want to grow old disgracefully with them :)

The legendary Glasgow baggage handler who instead of running from terrorists, smacked one in the chops. Donate now to buy John a pint to say thanks.
Makes me proud to be Scottish
Legendary guy! :proud:
I was gonna donate but since hes now got 1200 pints waiting for him I think Ill drink the pint instead and toast it to him :P
lol theres no proven link with 2nd hand smoke to cancer if my memories correct ight be wrong as i read it on msn.com,by hippies i ment the goverment again one rule for them another for us, such as there allowing smoking in the houses of parliment, and they have weird explanations for indoors i believe its 3 walls and a roof, so in theory u can get fined for smoking in a bus shelter give me a break what happened to freedom insted of this hypocritical big brother state we live in which is only serving to hinder us. They put massive taxes on ciggys when alcohol related deaths are more abundate and cost the nhs twice as much. On a friday night i very much doubt ud find a smoker in nhs cos hes had one to many and gone and kicked someones head in,I work in an off license and never has a smoker held a knife up to me or bricked the shop windows,if anything drinking shud have higher taxes and be banned.I am a non drinker by choice however i am a smoker and i 100% dont agree with the new ban, in some ways i can see benifits but it really doesnt encourge people to quit in my view only to be more rebillious towards.
btw this is not ment to offend people it is my view as yours is yours
There are clear and strong links between smoking and health issues. You can manipulate the statistics all you want, but smoking will still kill you.
Its a disgusting habit. If you can quit it, do so. If you havent started yet, dont. If you cant live without it, please let us know when the funeral is.
That said, my mum is a very severe yet healthy smoker of 64 and my mum-in-law died of lung cancer before hitting 50. Both Mario and I have respiratory issues so we dont smoke anyway. But our main point is: your liberty to pollute your lungs touches our liberty to be able to breathe freely whenever you light one up. We dont begrudge you the fun of smoking, but you should be aware of the fact that your fun means ill health for others. In my personal case it means irritated airways and stinging in the eyes.
Would you do that to me ?
Anthony
theres no proven link with 2nd hand smoke to cancer
Sadly no-one told the likes of Roy Castle that

sorry but i agree and disagree with points made, no one seems to have mentioned drinking at all, i do believe smokign is disgusting but having said that it is somthing i enjoy and i dont have much else to say on the matter
-2>cough! -1>cough! +1>cough! +2>cough!
:uhoh:
In Australia, drinking is the number one drug for causing deaths in the under 35 year old age bracket. Smoking is the most deadly drug in the over 35s. Ban them both I say.
If you think we have problems with fines from throwing ciggy butts on the floor?.........

Wish that would happen to the ***** horses that come past our area on our roads. Get off the roads!! You dont pay road tax!!!
Mr Stu
We cant even complain when horses soil our street because the only horses passing through our street are...
...police patrol.
Nice horses though. Lots of flesh on them. Has our felines licking their chops in appreciation every time.
Come to think of it... me too. I do like a big juicy horse-steak thats just been in the frying pan for a nanosecond before landing on my plate. Yum yum.

As of today I have been re-integrated into the work(less)force. Stupid official doctors... Took them half an hour to decide I am fit to work. Whereas my problem is: work 2 days, spend the next 3 days too exhausted in bed and with muscle-pain galore.
Ah well, Im looking for a part-time job. Maybe I get lucky. But if Im not, its 15 ‚ per day on welfare. And that hurts.
you can come and work for me babeth. tho the travel cost might out weigh your wages.
Go Lewis!
McLaren for the win!
mountain to climb now
All he needs to do is finish on 6th place or better, then he wins on points. It has been done before.
