Psyclonised (1) vs Panicking

Activate!
Psyclonised remains practically motionless when €œActivate€ is called, but Panicking rushes off for a quick start! Overwhelmed, Andy reverses his FBS, but not in time!
CLANG!
Panicking is slightly swept away by Psyclonised€™s ring, but does manage to activate those lifting forks anyway to leave Psyclonised on its side against the arena wall! Panicking backs off, and Psyclonised slowly slides off the wall and back on its feet, but Panicking comes in again!!! Psyclonised is squeezed between Panicking and the wall and ends up on Panicking€™s right. There, Andy quickly drives away from Panicking to finally get that weapon to do some work. Panicking turns towards Psyclonised, but those 6 wheels really slow it down! Psyclonised€™s ring is speeding up nicely and Panicking can€™t reach him fast enough€¦ Panicking aims for a ram, and Psyclonised aims for a spin!
CRASH!
The two machines meet head-on! Panicking smartly activates its forks upon colliding€¦ making Psyclonised wobble backwards, but that ain€™t nothing to what Psyclonised did to Panicking! Panicking€™s lifting forks are bend and torn beyond recognition! And seem to be unable to go down to the ground anymore! Psyclonised regains consciousness and has a go at Panicking again! Panicking drives away!
CRASH!
Psyclonised still nudges Panicking€™s front corner! And just check out that damage done to that polycarbonate! Panicking continues his path to retreat, but this path suddenly doesn€™t go as straight as it did :proud:. One of Panicking€™s front wheels€™ axles is bend! The MN1-champ looks as if he bloody well knows he had a slow start today, but this fight is turning into his favor. He comes in again on the very badly moving Panicking!
CRASH!!!
Same corner, more damage:proud:. That front wheel is now actually stuck AGAINST the wheel right behind it! With only one wheel left on one side, Panicking is driving circles rather than lines now€¦ WHAT DO THE JUDGES THINK OF THIS?

Fight 2
Cyclone Force 2.5 vs B2B
Cyclone Force 2.5 will use the Kan Opener-style claws today.

1€¦
Activate!
Today we meet two extremes in speed. Cyclone Force immediately heads towards B2B 25 mph while B2B is driving around at 8.5 mph. It€™s no miracle that both machines meet each other damn close to B2B€™s starting spot:proud:. Right there, Cyclone Force and B2B stand face-to-face to determine who of them will receive the right to fight reigning champ Psyclonised in this Heat Final! B2B puts his great acceleration to use and rams Cyclone Force€™s front corner! The interchangeable bot moves UP and OVER its nemesis, as if he was facing Storm 2 himself! At Back to Basic€™s back, Cyclone Force turns around, but so does B2B of course, who accelerates for another ram!
CLANG!
Yup, 2 rams in such close succession deserves a €œCLANG!€ in my book:proud:! Cyclone Force finds itself at B2B€™s backside again, but he does not walk in the same trap again. The Force drives away from B2B, who turns around and gives chase, but the speedy Cyclone Force is already beyond B2B€™s reach. The Storm 2ish machine turns around now and the two machines are again locked in a face-to-face stalemate. Both come in now€¦ but Cyclone€™s pincers reach B2B€™s armor first! The side titanium gives in slightly and Cyclone Force starts pushing B2B. The wedge flipper has a tiny foothold underneath Cyclone€™s front though and activates its flipper. As a result, the clutch of vapourbots moves up into the air as one before crashing back on the floor, where Cyclone can€™t hold B2B in its claws anymore! B2B roams free, but the scars left by his nemesis are clearly visible! B2B€™s position is still within Cyclone€™s reach, and B2B quickly drives underneath one of the claws and flips its opponent away! Cyclone Force goes up into the air and lands on its invertible back. B2B comes in for another ram as Cyclone comes in for one more pinch. The latter avoids the dangerous wedge opposing him in a last minute effort, and the wedge turns around. Cyclone Force has its claws around B2B€™s front side, and they start closing in! B2B is again stuck, and he again fires its flipper€¦ to no use! Cyclone Force starts what seems to be a path to the pit, and B2B numerous make little to no difference in this! Cyclone Force is holding B2B over the pit now, AND HE LETS GO!
CEASE
B2B meets the bottom of the pit

Gimme your predictions, gimme your tactics, gimme your thoughts :proud:
Psyclonised (1) vs Cyclone Force 2.5 - Im going to side with Chris for this one for one simple reason - if he sticks with the claws he can grab and shove Psyclonised. If he uses the lifter, he can lift up Psyclonised and if he uses the disc, he can defend himself from Psyclonised.
Chances are Im wrong, but I mostly want Chris and not AJ to win.
By the way, good fights Martijn.

Dammit :proud:
Psyclonised (1) vs Cyclone Force 2.5
Psyclonised WILL avenge my bad prediction for B2B. :proud: Cant see Cyclone Force getting around this bad boy anyhow.
Oh dear, I must have been taking a nap at the start of that last fight! :proud:
Psyclonised (1) vs Cyclone Force 2.5
Well Cyclone Force is going to stand up to the punishment better than Panicking, but I still dont think 7mm Ti is enough to stop the wrath of Psyclonised. The multi-weapon choice means its hard to think of many tactics yet, but as with the previous match, which ever set-up is chosen it just gives me something to target and rip off. So Ill try not to make the same mistake as the last match and start by running around using my superior control and get the weapon fully spun up. A few blows at top speed is going to leave that titanium looking like a cheese grater! :proud: Hopefully the damage will be significant enough for me to head to the semi-finals.
Chris send his tactics over e-mail
I really doubt the claws will actually hold here, so Im going to use
the scoop option. It should take the knocks and as it and the
connection goes deep into the body, Psy shouldnt tear it out in one
blow, which he might do with the other weapons. Just keep ramming
before he can get up to speed, and eventually pit him.

Psyclonised (1) vs Cyclone Force 2.5
Cyclone Force 2.5 will use the X-Terminator-style bucket scoop today.

Activate!
With great control Andy moves his machine out of harms way to the right, where he thinks he can find all the spin-up time he needs to take on his interchangeable opponent. This opponent we speak of rushes towards aforementioned full body spinner with more speed but less control. Andy has had this tactic used against him all too often and learned from past mistakes, thereby dodging Cyclone€™s first attack. Chris isn€™t ready just yet though and has another go at Psyclonised, who€™s spinning up nicely. Cyclone Force turns around. Cyclone Force performs a good ram now!
CLANG!
CRASH!
Andy discovers that titanium IS in fact harder than polycarbonate when he€™s swung from Force€™s scoop to the arena wall. Chris in turn meets the honor of being slammed aside by a true champion€™s weapon. The joint between scoop and main body looks damaged but largely intact. Psyclonised comes back from the wall towards Cyclone Force, who aims his sturdy scoop towards the scary ring spinner. Cyclone Force approaches the spinner with great care and slowly moves his scoop against him.
CRASH!
The hammers pound away alongside the surface of the scoop, leaving a very, very wide dent! Also, Psyclonised is left dancing like a Mauler on steroids! The energy stored in those hammers makes Psyclonised go out of control right there. Luckily for Andy, Cyclone Force needs some time to recover, unlucky for Andy, Cyclone Force recovers faster than Psyclonised does :proud:. In comes that big scoop, dragging Psyclonised some distance before the latter gets his wheels back on the ground. Psyclonised drives towards the side of Cyclone Force, and has a rather successful go!
CRASH!
PSYCLONISED TEARS CYCLONE FORCE€™S SIDE OPEN! It€™s not a big tear, but it€™s a tear nonetheless :proud:. Chris isn€™t all too pleased with this, and is out on a certain scoop-involving revenge. Cyclone Force turns around like a raging bull and rushes at Psyclonised. Psyclonised positions himself€¦
CRASH!
Another tear is made, now at the bucket scoop itself! This absorbed some energy though and Cyclone Force keeps a sturdy grip on Psyclonised, who€™s spinning rather slowly now€¦
CLANG!
Psyclonised slams into the wall and on top of Cyclone Force, what a great hit by Chris! Andy€™s champion ends up behind Cyclone Force, where it€™s spinning up again, when Cyclone Force turns around

Disco 5 (3) vs Axe-O-Lotl vs Slammer V
Axeon 2.0 vs NSBFR-X vs Shovearound 2
Gimme your predictions, gimme your tactics, gimme your thoughts :proud:
Aha, I knew it. :proud: Good going, Andy. :)
Now then, predictions!
Disco 5 (3) vs Axe-O-Lotl vs Slammer V
Slammers top/bottom armour looks susceptible to Axe-O-Lotls weapon, but Im pretty sure Slammer will come through. Discos going through no matter what. Axe-O-Lotl out.
Axeon 2.0 vs NSBFR-X vs Shovearound 2
Well aint this just purdy? Shovearound is fresh off of a tournament victory, so hell go through. The other two Im not too sure about. NSBFR-X has interchangeable weaponry but Axeons axe is pretty powerful. Eh, I think Ill take Axeon to go out here.
Excellent first heat Martijn. Cant wait for my turn. :proud:
NOOOOOO!! Chris shouldve won! NOOOOOOO!!
Disco 5 (3) vs Axe-O-Lotl vs Slammer V - I predict Slammer to go, after being pittied by Axe-O-Lotl
Axeon 2.0 vs NSBFR-X vs Shovearound 2 - Tonys instantly going through, with Frank, possibly.
My prediction for the heat - Shovearound 2, no question what, it IS Shovearound 2.
Ill use the drum weapon, A) for invertibility, and B) for pushing/flipping goodness. Go for the sides of Axeon since he can only hit me from the front. I dont think the axe will damage me, but no sense taking chances.
