Also you dont need to carry Aarons stuff at all. Its still in his inventory, too much effort to write it otherwise.

Also can I suggest a griffon is preferable to a pegasus, its only a little slower but has very very good attack and much sharper senses and also has abotu 2.5 times the carry weight.
