I'm sorry, but I fail to see how a remote control car is more entertaining than a 3 saw bladed robot.

What are you doing about invertability?
Toy car gets smashed up by 3 saw robot
£3
3mins of fun :)
nope. its becoming irritating, for me anyway the amount of rc cars around, normaly in classes such as the flea's but i have seen a few featherweights that are are just toy cars with a bit of wood strapped to them.
But the outcome of that match is always going to be the 3 saw blade robot winning, plus after you've seen one match like that you've seen them all. Surely a match between 2 decent robots would be more entertaining? (Explosion vs Little Hitter, Ls4 vs 540 or something)
And the effort to make the rc car abide by the rules probably isn't worth it for something that is frowned upon and going to be destroyed anyway.
Anyway, my wooden robot is coming on alright, it's a bit big though. May not have as much weight left over as I thought I would.
Hoping I don't get flipped.... Making the design invertible would have taken some decent thought, time and parts unfortunately.Quote:

Mounted the blades with help from Dan yesterday. Just a couple more things to do then it just needs wiring up!

Had some family over for Easter so thought I'd fire up BitzaWood and through bits-of-wood at it.

Johnny 2x4, reporting for duty.
Well we almost had a wooden robot fight!
BitzaWood never got running, but it's a simple fix I'll do in time for the next event, gives some other people time to get their bots together. I take it Johnny 2x4 is still in one piece?
