Velociraptor's Fanfic Tournament - Series 6!

Welcome to VFT6, where after six Mayhems, six robots have proven theyre good enough to compete in the Annihilator! Lets remind ourselves who they are!
*DIECERATOPS INVERTUS, entered by Chris Mason, a box with a moveable nose cone and invertable flipper, which sent Black Chalkie Beard and Hacked Off Ha-ka down the pit in its Mayhem!
*FORKLIFTS REVENGE, entered by Martyn Forsyth, armed with a Toro-like flipping arm, it let BADer pit Disco Dancer 2.5, then sent BADer the same way!
*GEFORCE, entered by Andy Jackson, a wedge with a powerful flipper that helped to knock out Surgeon General, and then tossed around Killotine Evo before pitting it!
*PSYCLONE, entered by Andy Jackson, a full body spinner that helped annihilate Wrecktangle before beating The Disc 4 on a 32-28 decision!
*PUSH-ISH, entered by Dave Sheppard, a pushing wedge with a drum, that sent both Hypertension Mk2, and Squish who was grappling it, into the pit in one move!
*WHIRLIGIG 4.0, entered by Steven McGregor, an invertable ring spinner that did enough damage to Panic 3 GTI 2 and Sonic Boom to win a 28-19-13 judges decision!

So lets start the Annihilator! One robot must go in this first fight, but who will it be?

3, 2, 1 - ACTIVATE!
Dieceratops Invertus and Geforce turned towards each other, while Forklifts Revenge also attacked Dieceratops, Psyclone and Whirligig 4.0 began to spin, and Push-Ish also moved towards Forklifts Revenge! As Dieceratops Invertus and Geforce turned around in an effort to get under each other, Forklifts Revenge was able to come straight under Dieceratopss rear and flip it against the wall! Dieceratops began sliding down, only to be sent skyward by Geforce! FR chased the flying Dieceratops, but was suddenly pinned against the wall by Push-Ish, while Psyclone and Whirligig 4.0 approached! Geforce went around to catch Dieceratops, who had landed in a corner, but was glanced on the rear by Whirligig 4.0, spun around for another attack that left a long scratch! Just avoiding another whack, Geforce found itself being attacked from the rear by Dieceratops, who flipped it onto the pinned Forklifts Revenge! At the same time, Dieceratops was hit on the side by Whirligig! Meanwhile, FR fired its flipper to send Geforce soaring away, and then proceeded to take a hit on the rear from Psyclone - but this knocked it out of Push-Ishs grip, and Push-Ish itself was hit by Psyclone as it began to chase it! Selfrighting, Geforce was struck on the side by Whirligig but managed to escape, while FR caught Dieceratops on the side and flipped it - Dieceratops landed on Whirligigs top! It was shaken a little by the spinning action, and when it came off, it was struck again by the blades - before it could recover, Dieceratops was sent upward by Geforce, who was again bashed in the side by Whirligig! Whirligig then proceeded to hit Dieceratops, who was on its side against the wall, tearing its armour!
Meanwhile, Forklifts Revenge had been attacked from the rear by Push-Ish, and slammed face first into the corner! Psyclone took the oppotunity to attack it side on, again changing FRs position, but Push-Ish caught it side on before it could escape, although now there was nowhere for Psyclone to attack! Close by, Geforce and Whirligig 4.0 were charging Dieceratops Invertus, who slipped past them both - unable to get in without risking a strike from Whirligig, it instead charged into Push-Ish, but this didnt get it past the skirts, and it allowed Psyclone another target! Dieceratops was spun towards Geforce, who immediately gave it a flip, but was accidentally hit by an eager Whirligig 4.0 in the process! Landing with a big bump, Dieceratops was stationary for a moment before it finally started moving - unfortunately, this was time enough for Geforce and Whirligig 4.0 to come in! Whirligig struck it first and sent it into the wall, while Geforce gave it another toss! Landing badly again, Dieceratops Invertus, battered and torn, was no longer moving at all! Geforce decided to keep away from Whirligig 4.0 while the countdown commenced, but Whirligig had other ideas, hitting Geforce in the rear and making more wounds! Meanwhile, Forklifts Revenge had struggled out of Push-Ishs hold, got its forks under the waiting Psyclone and tossed it into the air! Bouncing, Psyclone was able to selfright (unlike Code 14 in the last annihilator) while FR was given a good push by Push-Ish into Whirligig 4.0, who left a rip in the skirting! Geforce and Push-Ish struggled with FR, and Psyclone and Whirligig 4.0 kept out of it, until Dieceratops was counted out!

FORKLIFTS REVENGE, GEFORCE, PSYCLONE, PUSH-ISH & WHIRLIGIG 4.0 GO THROUGH!

Damage Report:
*Geforce was the most badly damaged, with many tears in its armour courtesy of Whirligig. It was mostly repaired, but the armour could be a little vulnerable later.
*Forklifts Revenge, Psyclone, Push-Ish and Whirligig 4.0 were able to fully repair any damage to themselves.

Once again, I can only apologise for the delay.

Time for Round 2 of the Annihilator - our five remaining robots seem in good shape after the first round, but that should soon change!

3, 2, 1 - ACTIVATE!
While Whirligig 4.0 remained static as it started to spin, Geforce, Psyclone and Push-Ish all attacked Forklifts Revenge! However, Forklifts Revenge quickly moved to attack Geforce, at the side which shielded it from the attacks of the others! The two robots were parallel, but as they turned, FR was exposed and Psyclone moved to strike it in the rear! Push-Ish was poised to attack FR as it went flying, but was struck itself by Whirligig 4.0! Outrunning the other competitors, Forklifts Revenge charged into the pit release, and the others were quick to run away! Chasing Geforce, FR successfully managed to drive straight into its side, get the forks under and toss! Geforce was soon flying towards the pit, and FR followed, with Push-Ish not far behind! Once Geforce had hit the ground, it couldnt get going quickly enough to keep Forklifts Revenge from shoving it into oblivion, although FR was almost immediately pitted itself by Push-Ish, while Psyclone and Whirligig 4.0 watched ominously!

Damage Report:
No serious damage to any of the robots - all repaired.

Prediction: Violence to happen, and a case of mutually assured destruction if the two FBSd go anywhere near each other

Well, Im going for Push-Ish now.

Im still heading for Forklifts Revenge, and push it into one of the two spinners

I plan to run around and try and flip anyone thats near me that is flipable. Try and ram into whirligig early on before it spins up and knock it into the pit or into anyone else in my way

Thought I should reassure you all I havent given up on this tournament, but there probably wont be any updates until my exams are over, and after that I should be able to work quickly.

Knowing how quickly that can be, I hope you have spare kayboards

Two months later, after eight wonderful, incredibly fun exams (please insert sarcasm), here I am again! Ive still got one exam left, but its only on Tuesday so Ive got enough time to bring on the next Annihilator round!

Round 3 is about to begin - with more space in the arena, will the remaining robots be able to unleash even more hell on each other?

3, 2, 1 - ACTIVATE!
With Psyclone and Whirligig 4.0 again being static apart from their spinning shells, Push-Ish charged at Forklifts Revenge, who was in turn charging Whirligig! Whirligig bravely ran Forklifts Revenge down, aiming to attack the side, but FR turned, slid the forks underneath and gave Whirligig a toss! The spinner almost landed on Psyclone, who was going around FR to reach Push-Ish, who now slammed into FRs rear! Unfortunately, as Push-Ish gradually shoved FR, it was fair game for Psyclone, who whacked it in the side and knocked it out of position, allowing FR to escape and come after Whirligig 4.0! As Whirligig came to go for Push-Ish, it bumped into Psyclone, and the result was a resonating bang! Psyclones teeth hit Whirligig and sent it flying, but the impact also edged Psyclone into FR and Push-Ish! In the confusion, Psyclone was able to strike Push-Ish in the side again, injuring the armour! FR now reversed after Push-Ish as it spun off, and ended up parallel to it as the wedge recovered! The two struggled with each other, then had to break away as Psyclone and Whirligig 4.0 attacked, both just escaping a smash! FR quickly caught up with Push-Ish and managed to run into its side, shoving hard to slip the prongs past the skirts, then tossing Push-Ish! Bouncing on the floor, Push-Ish tipped onto the arena disc, and skimmed off back into the reach of FR, who now shoved it into Whirligig 4.0!
When Push-Ish flew away, Forklifts Revenge was able to get its prongs under Whirligig 4.0 again and make the spinner fly like a UFO, but in turn it recieved a bash on its rear wedge from Psyclone! It went after Whirligig, who was going for Push-Ish - but Push-Ish went straight back to FR, ramming into its side and taking it into the west wall! Push-Ish then backed off, and when FR tried to escape, Push-Ish rammed it again, right into Psyclone! FR flew from the impact, into the perfect position for Whirligig to attack! Meanwhile, Push-Ish reversed away from Psyclone, then came back after FR, who was under pressure from Whirligig again, and took another knock that ripped a skirt! The only way out for FR was to go after Psyclone - just taking a knock from Push-Ish, it did so, but as the prongs went under Psyclones teeth scraped FR, resulting in FR flying off as it fired the flipper, and Psyclone being tipped against the floor, bouncing off in an arc into the wall, bouncing back and forth before settling down and running off to spin up again! Whirligig 4.0 quickly hit FR as it skimmed - the impact took out a motor on one wheel and left FR moving slightly wonkily! Unfortunately, FR recovered quickly enough to attempt a flip on Whirligig, but went a bit off and fired the flipper as Whirligig struck, tipping Whirligig against the floor, into the air and straight back down! Push-Ish finally got its chance again and rammed FR in the side, taking it into the west wall again!
Push-Ish held the helpless Forklifts Revenge as Psyclone and Whirligig 4.0 eagerly approached, Whirligig getting there first - and ungratefully striking both robots! Psyclone was then able to whack Push-Ish in the side, then turn and smash FR before it could get in a flip! Whirligig 4.0 followed the flying Push-Ish and hit it in the side again, causing more wounds in the armour! Push-Ish had to endure another attack from Whirligig in the rear before it could escape, but Psyclone was coming after it! However, FR got there first, and the two became parallel to each other again! It was FR who was exposed to Psyclone and Whirligig 4.0, so they hit it together! The combined impact sent FR shoving Push-Ish backwards on its short flight! Push-Ish reacted quickly and rammed FR in the rear wedge, taking it into the north wall before realising its mistake and dodging Psyclone and Whirligig 4.0! There was no escape for FR, who made a desperate run towards the pit release, but was hit by Psyclone, turning it around but it missed the release! As Martyn tried to turn his robot around to attack, Psyclone struck the side again! With that final impact, the battered Forklifts Revenge had its life wiped out! Not looking too healthy itself, Push-Ish kept away from the two spinners during the countdown, although Whirligig 4.0 made a playful move towards it, with Steven making a evil Professor Vengeance style Bwahahaha! An omen of things to come, perhaps?

*Push-Ishs armour was badly damaged - it was mainly repaired, but might be a bit flimsy.

Spin, hurt greatly and avoid the Pit if possible. I really dont care who I go for here, as long as I kill someone. Howwibly. Time to vent some anger over the PTT5 sign-ups jinx... :proud:

Tactics for final 3...

...Sh*t, two evil spinners, Im aiming for the weaker of the two, and box-rush Whirligig and push it into Psyclone. Keep onto Whirligig right from the start.

Just realised how long its been since I started this tournament - over 10 months! Of course, it was on hold for 2.5.

Round 4 is upon us, and just three of the six robots left! Will we have two spinners in the final, or a spinner and a shover?

3, 2, 1 - ACTIVATE!
As Psyclone and Whirligig 4.0 began spinning, Push-Ish quickly accelerated towards Whirligig! Whirligig ran, but reaching third gear, Push-Ish caught up! They made contact, but Whirligigs ring was spinning, and it hit the Hardox wedge and sent Push-Ish away - right into Psyclone! Bouncing off, Push-Ish was left with a dent in its side - seeing Whirligig attacking, it reversed into it with its scooped rear, and went flying again, but almost knocked Whirligig into Psyclone! Push-Ish skimmed close to the pit release corner, and was able to nudge the release - unfortunately, Psyclone and Whirligig were approaching while it was cornered! Push-Ish defiantly charged, slamming into Whirligig - this time, Whirligig was nudged into Psyclone, and bounced off again, but went right into Push-Ish who was bouncing off the wall! As Push-Ish went back into the wall, Whirligig just glanced Psyclone as it skimmed again before finally coming to a stop! Push-Ish was left with a painful looking injury in its side - it desperately tried to reach Whirligig before it could spin up again, but was glanced by Psyclone and knocked off course, deepening the wound in its side! Spinning again, Whirligig 4.0 angrily charged the disorientated Push-Ish, managing to hit it in a front corner! Both spinners now aimed to attack Push-Ish again - the wedge backed off, then charged Whirligig again! The Hardox wedge made Whirligig skim again, but again Push-Ish was spun off, and Psyclone was able to move to hit it!
The strike from Psyclone hit Push-Ish on its less damaged right side, but Psyclone was ready to follow it and attack the big injury! However, Push-Ish reacted quickly enough to dodge it - it went for Whirligig 4.0 with its scoop, but just missed! Immediately, it charged again and again hit Whirligig with the wedge! Whirligig edged towards Psyclone but just missed it, while Push-Ish was again introduced to the wall! Again the rammer came in with its rear, hitting Whirligig again, and this time the two spinners made contact again! Bouncing off as Psyclones teeth whacked it, Whirligig hit the wedge of the also flying Push-Ish, and hit the wall! Reacting quickly, Push-Ish attacked with its wedge, making Whirligig bounce off again, and another nudge took Whirligig into the wall again, slowing it down enough for Push-Ish to get underneath while just avoiding Psyclone! Backing off with Whirligig 4.0 on its wedge, taking a slashing from the drum, Push-Ish rammed it into Psyclone, and away went Whirligig 4.0! Push-Ish went after it before Psyclone could cause any unwanted damage - while it had been scratched, Whirligig 4.0s thick titanium ring had protected it from immobilisation! Wanting to end the fight before one of the spinners did, Push-Ish quickly rammed Whirligig into the pit release, and began charging towards the pit! Psyclone moved to intercept - and glanced Push-Ish on the corner! As Push-Ish skimmed a short distance, Whirligig fell off the wedge! But it was close enough for Push-Ish to come in again, stop the powering-up spinner, and dump the previously impressive Whirligig 4.0 in the pit! It then chose to dive in itself before Psyclone could cause any more damage!

PSYCLONE AND PUSH-ISH GO THROUGH TO THE ANNIHILATOR FINAL!

*Push-Ish suffered bad damage to its armour - again, most of it was repaired, but the armour isnt at its strongest.

This could be very close. Either Push-ish will condemn it to the same fate as Whirligig or Psyclone will take advantage of the weakenened armour and slash it to death. I know who Id like to win, though... :proud:

Wonderful to see you as a regular again, Richie. We need an influx of fights now more than ever, if you ask me. :)

Psyclone vs. Push-Ish

Not the draw I expected to be honest, I thought it would be either a Push-Ish vs. Whirligig final or a Psyclone vs. Whirlygig Final.

That in mind Im quite happy with this draw. In the previous rounds I have managed to cause quite a bit of damage to it. If I can stay away from the hazards and walls and keep spun up as much as possible, I should be able to cause quite a lot of damage again. Just attack attack attack really, Ive got nothing to lose so Ill just go for mass destruction - ultimate style! :P

My armour is now a mixture of titanium and duck-tape holding the panels together, the chassis has started to crack up, and the suspensed cage the engine is in, has started to unbolt itself. But all this aside, with a lot more duck tape and more bolts it should hold together for the final.

My single tactic will be to Box-Rush it, again and again, till I get under, and when, open pit, push down pit.

So Attack Attack Attack, Box-Rush, Box-Rush, Box-Rush, no tapping out.

Here we are (finally) at the Annihilator Final! Tempest Evil-oution won the last Annihilator - can Psyclone, another spinner, do the same, or will Push-Ish outpush it?

3, 2, 1 - ACTIVATE!
Push-Ish immediately accelerated in Psyclones direction - Psyclone made a quick backwards move, and its shell got spinning fast enough to repel Push-Ish when it made contact! As Push-Ish almost hit the wall, Psyclone moved to attack, and was box-rushed again! The second impact smashed Push-Ish into the wall, and Psyclone hit it in the side as it ricocheted off! Psyclone didnt hit the wall, but realised it was too close and moved into the arena centre, as Push-Ish recovered and came steaming in again! There was another resonating impact that was again worse on Push-Ish, sending it away! Left facing away from Psyclone, it charged with its scooped rear immediately, hitting with a crash and being flung away again! Turning around to use its Hardox wedge, Push-Ish again attacked, but Psyclones high ground clearance didnt help when the teeth just smacked it away again! Rushing in again while Psyclone just moved around the arena centre, Push-Ish just went flying again with a dent in its wedge, thanks to Psyclones almost instant spin up time! Getting tired of this, Psyclone came towards Push-Ish as it prepared to charge again, and with a little twist as the wedge approached, hit it in a front corner! It followed Push-Ish as it flew off, so Push-Ish attempted to run around Psyclone and try ramming it into the wall from behind! But it didnt work - Psyclone moved towards the charging Push-Ish, not timing it right to hit the side but still smashing the front again!
When the two robots came together again, Psyclone did manage a well timed manouvre to hit Push-Ish along the side and fling it into the wall again! Psyclone aimed to strike Push-Ish as it bounced off, but just missed, and then had to move away from the wall so it didnt hit when Push-Ish box rushed it again! This caused Push-Ish to bounce off the wall again, and Psyclone was able to hit it in the side again and send it back in! Push-Ish tried attacking again with its rear, but Psyclone moved far away enough from the wall as it charged so Push-Ish changed direction and attacked with its Hardox wedge again, and again it failed to do much! As Push-Ish came in again, Psyclone again managed to turn and slash it in the side, making it fly and knock against the wall! Now facing Psyclone, Push-Ish rushed in again, but the shell was already spinning at full again and sent it skimming with a crack in the Hardox! Psyclone tried to turn again on Push-Ishs next attack, and hit the front corner again! On the next attempt, the two missed each other completely, but as Push-Ish manouvered around, Psyclone got in a blow on the side, causing more damage! The next contact between the two resulted in another front corner hit on Push-Ish from Psyclone!
Push-Ish just dodged as Psyclone attacked again, then rammed again with the wedge, but just damaged itself more! So it went for the pit release, moving quickly before Psyclone could corner it, but Psyclone didnt come close enough! When the pit closed with nobody in it, Push-Ish tried to shove Psyclone towards the zone, but it got struck in the side again! As it backed into position, Psyclone caught on and just moved further away, but that didnt stop Push-Ish trying! Unfortunately, when it rammed Psyclone again with its damaged wedge, it skimmed - and didnt move at all! Psyclone gradually moved closer, with Push-Ish remaining static for a few seconds - then suddenly, something fell back into place and it moved again, back towards the pit release! Psyclone went a bit closer but not close enough, so Push-Ish tried manouvering to get it closer. A bit of dancing and teasing didnt work, so it just box-rushed again, but this resulted in another fling into the west wall! Psyclone moved quickly as Push-Ish ricocheted off and hit it in the side, then moved after it - but it didnt need to, because after that final blow, the brave but battered Push-Ish was finally immobilised for good! With wafts of smoke emerging from the gaps in its opponents torn armour, Psyclone turned off its spinner and tried shoving it toward the pit for the coup de grace, pushing it into the release but struggling to move it to get it in the pit, so it had to press the release again. It dropped Push-Ish in the pit just before the rammer could be counted out!

PSYCLONE WINS THE VFT6 ANNIHILATOR!

Next time on VFT6, we try something new - the Football Tournament! Heres the lineups in case you forgot:

And here are the rules:
1) There are no fixed positions you must put your robots in - you can have a striker and a goalie, or two strikers, or whatever. It will work like Techno Games Football, or the one in NSBFL, with a goal for each team and one ball.
2) When a goal is scored, the match is paused and the ball is returned to the centre before carrying on. When times up, the team with the most goals goes through - if its tied, a golden goal will decide the match.
3) Robots can use their weapons on the ball, but not on each other - you can only shove another robot with the aim of possessing the ball or scoring a goal, not with intent to disable the other robot. Get too violent with opposing robots and you will get a yellow card, and if you do it again, a red one! Only the offending robot will be sent off - its teammate can stay on.
4) You are also allowed to make small modifications to combat robots you enter (eg: flaps) to help them play footie, but nothing major.

Ah, I need to make a few modifications and tactics.

LEPROSY INFECTION
Remove the drum, and add a horizontal C shape at the front to scoop up the ball. I think I stressed this in my stats.

MEGA MASHER 2
The disc needs to be removed.

MY TACTICS:
Leprosy Infection will be the striker. It has better speed/agility than its teammate. The C will sort of scoop up the ball, then I can take it where I want.

Mega Masher is the goalie. The trick here is that it will be in the goal SIDE ON. The trick is that its sheer bulk leaves only a small space to get the ball in. After all, it looks like Minion (the trick is that most of the robot is actually empty space. This allows it to be so big).

ROUND 1
Dervish // & RotRotB VS In-terror-fied & Windiest Killer Just Got Windier

Im not sure wholl play what position, but what I do know is that RotRotB is the PERFECT shape for this type of contest :proud:. The SOB-style dustpan can easily keep control of the ball and with my speed and manoueverability, getting it in the other net hopefully wont be too much of a problem.

Of course, if Dan would prefer me in goal, nae danger. The scoop could be just as effective there :)

WX 6.0 & Forcepower Turbo (AJ) vs Leprosy Infection & Mega Masher 2 (Chris Mason)

I think I gave tactics before, but here are some new ones...

WX6.0: WX will be the goalkeeper, if possible Id like to use the normal scoop which should give a nice wide ball stopping approach. The idea is just too drive out at the opposing team when they come near the goal. The angle of the wedge should hopefully block the shot and hit it down field, possibly setting up a counter attack.

FPT: ForcePower will be the striker robot, could some flaps be fitted to either side of the wedge to form some sort of scoop please? The idea will be to use its speed, manouverability and power to charge down the pitch and smash the ball in the net. There will be no deliberate barging out of the way, just use the power advantage to win the ball and make sure that goalie cant stop it.

Biohazard & El Persistance (Matt Robinson) vs Little Sister & TIRTASM (Tom Brisbourne & Martyn)

Hummmm Matt Robinson has left and tom brisbourne hasnt done vapours for ages, anyway, tirtasm will use the scoop and go in goal and little sister will try and score.

Put some little flags on both machines, and attack attack the ball.

AJ, we have GOT to stop meeting each other.

Well the way I designed it, X is the striker and I is the goalie. It just wouldnt work any other way. X is a nippy lil thing, so I hope to be able to swerve around both machines and score with spring power:)

Your going to try to swerve around 4-Wheel-Steer, with a skid-steer machine?

Considering:

C) Dont even seem that confident it works if that comment in Weaknesses about Kustom is anything to go by and

Hi all, Ive been busy keeping atop of my college course and the latest F1 news, so yeah, Ill go along with the tactics, Martyn.

Sorry for the delay, everyone - Ive been taking it easy a bit since finishing the exams.

Welcome to VFT6, where were about to start our first ever Football tournament! Eight two-robot teams of would-be Beckhams are ready to play against each other, until one team is left to walk away with the VFT6 Football Trophy, which is more than the England team has managed since 1966! Stupid referee at the Portugal match...

Our first match has Biohazard and El Persistance (neither in any particular role) hoping to score against Little Sister and TIRTASM (Little Sister as striker, TIRTASM in goals)!

3, 2, 1 - ACTIVATE!
Biohazard and El Persistance both made a move for the ball, as did Little Sister, resulting in all three of them colliding, and the ball ending up wedged under Biohazards lifted skirts! The three struggled for a moment before Biohazard broke away, but left the ball behind, allowing Little Sister to catch it! El Persistance rammed Little Sister in the side and knocked it off course, but since the arm was lifted, Little Sister escaped quickly and went after the ball. Biohazard and El Persistance charged after it, but before they could catch up, Little Sister knocked the ball into the unguarded goal, just before El Persistance slammed into it to try and stop it!
1-0 to Little Sister and TIRTASM!
As the match began again, Biohazard stayed around the goal while El Persistance and Little Sister went for the ball! In the impact, the ball rolled away, and it was El Persistance who picked it up, but struggled to get it under the arm! Little Sister was alongside to pressure it, but couldnt get round to get the ball! Sending the ball rolling, El Persistance ran after it and just started nudging it along with its wedge, towards the enemy goal! It tried a run to get past TIRTASM, who came out and collided with it, causing the ball to roll away! Little Sister and El Persistance both ran into the wall in the rush to catch the ball, and it bounced away from them - Little Sister went after it and also adopted a nudging technique, having no way to really control the ball. Eventually, it reached Biohazard, and tried to run the ball in, but just ran it into Biohazards skirt! However, the ball rolled back off, and with a nudge from Little Sister, it crossed the line!
2-0 to Little Sister and TIRTASM!
At the second restart, both robots rushed into the ball, but went a little off and got locked together while the ball rolled away! El Persistance pulled away from Little Sister and reversed into the ball, sending it against the wall, so it could turn and get it under the arm! Little Sister ran into El Persistances rear, but couldnt get under the skirting! This allowed El Persistance to run along with the ball, but a little slower than normal as it pressed the arm down on it, allowing Little Sister to catch up as it went for TIRTASMs goal! There was a bit of dodging, which resulted in El Persistance losing its grip on the ball! Little Sister immediately went for it, but also lost its grip on it - both robots advanced and collided again! Shoving Little Sister aside, El Persistance got the ball on its wedge, but it was facing in the wrong direction. It turned itself and the ball around, and when Little Sister rammed it in the side, it managed to catch it again, and run at TIRTASM! TIRTASM aimed to stop it head on, so El Persistance dodged. However, the speedy TIRTASM reversed and the ball bounced off its side! Little Sister came in and steered the ball away from El Persistance, but got a shove so it couldnt go after it itself! As the two strikers went for it again, El Persistance got there first and knocked it towards Biohazard, who managed to catch it and run at TIRTASM itself, with El Persistance blocking Little Sister! Unfortunately, TIRTASM came out again and stopped Biohazard, ramming it in the lifted skirts and sending the ball rolling away from the goal! So El Persistance rushed in and gave the ball a knock, but TIRTASM responded quickly and deflected it again! Little Sister and El Persistance both ran the ball into the wall as they struggled to take hold of it, with Biohazard coming in to try and help its teammate! As they struggled, Little Sister eventually tried using its flipper to get it out - it successfully sent the ball flying back, but also unintentionally gave El Persistance a tilt, and was given a yellow card! Little Sister reversed out and managed to get its rear into the ball as Biohazard reversed after it! Outpacing it, Little Sister aimed for the unguarded goal - but the ball hit the bar and bounced off! Little Sister went for it, but now Biohazard was firmly guarding the goal and El Persistance was coming in for a tackle! With a crash, El Persistance collided with Little Sister, twisted the ball away from it, but then struggled to get it away from the wall! It eventually succeeded, and went for TIRTASM again with Little Sister in hot pursuit! TIRTASM again prepared to face it, so El Persistance tried to turn and aim the ball for the other side of the goal! But again, TIRTASM sped across the goal and deflected the ball, so El Persistance had another try! With the ball under its arm again, it struggled to get past TIRTASM, and was still doing so at the final whistle!

LITTLE SISTER & TIRTASM WIN 2-0!

Next into the arena are Dervish V/ and Revenge Of Revenge Of The Bludgeonator on one side (neither in any particular role) and In-terror-fied and Windiest Killer Just Got Windier on the other (again, neither in a role)!

3, 2, 1 - ACTIVATE!
All four players made a rush for the ball this time - Dervish V/ and Interrorfied got there first, with Interrorfied using its jaws to knock the ball towards WKJGW, who immediately charged with the ball, getting past ROTROTB and sending itself and the ball into the back of the net!
1-0 to In-terror-fied and Windiest Killer Just Got Windier!
On this start, only In-terror-fied and WKJGW went for the ball and began shoveling it towards Dervish V/ and ROTROTB, who had remained at their goal. As they came in, ROTROTB blocked them and caught the ball in its shovel! Shoving both of the other team aside, it went for the goal, with Interrorfied and WKJGW going after it! They caught up and shoved it in the side, but the ball remained in the shovel! In-terror-fied tried to reach the ball with its jaws, but found itself almost being shoveled up by ROTROTB - WKJGW saved it by coming underneath the side and trying to shove ROTROTB into its own goal! But the ball rolled out of the shovel, and Dervish V/ accelerated towards it! Before In-terror-fied and WKJGW could catch it, it had run the ball into their goal!
1-1!
The third start, and now ROTROTB and In-terror-fied made a move for the ball while Dervish V/ and WKJGW guarded the goals! In-terror-fied got there first and tried to clamp it in its jaws, but they were too slim and the ball rolled out, allowing ROTROTB to catch it! In-terror-fied quickly caught up with it, so ROTROTB tried turning away from it - as it was doing so, Dervish V/ came out to help, ran into ROTROTBs scoop and steered the ball away from Interrorfied! ROTROTB blocked Interrorfied long enough for Dervish V/ to run towards WKJGW, who charged at it, passed underneath and knocked the ball away! All four went for it, with WKJGW getting there first - it began moving the ball along the wall, but ROTROTB caught it, and as WKJGW pushed against it, the ball rolled into the shovel! ROTROTB turned away to go for the goal, but Interrorfied rammed it to stop it! Dervish came in to help again, collecting the ball from the scoop and keeping ahead of its opponents long enough to send the ball into their net!
2-1 to Dervish V/ and Revenge Of The Revenge Of The Bludgeonator!
ROTROTB and Interrorfied both acted as strikers again, and again Interrorfied reached the ball first, knocked it away from ROTROTB with its jaws and steered it towards Dervish V/! Dervish V/ came out as it got closer and used its body to block it - Interrorfied pushed Dervish V/ back, but lost its grip on the ball, and ROTROTB collected it, with both Dervish and In-terror-fied coming after it! Again In-terror-fied caught up, and again ROTROTB turned away, but now Dervish was behind it as well, and Interrorfied was able to shove it in the side so the ball rolled out! But Interrorfied had to release ROTROTB to catch it, and ROTROTB recollected the ball first, aiming for the goal! As it looked like Interrorfied would stop it again, Dervish again ran into the scoop and went to score itself, but again a charge from WKJGW caused it to lose the ball! However, Dervish was able to collect it again first, but this time In-terror-fied moved to block it, and stopped it from scoring! WKJGW retrieved the ball as it rolled away, but was blocked by ROTROTB joining the scrum and taking the ball, and steering it into the goal before it could be stopped!
3-1 to Dervish V/ and Revenge Of The Revenge Of The Bludgeonator!
This time, Dervish went to face In-terror-fied and get the ball -as they collided, Interrorfied blocked Dervish with its jaws, caught the ball against the wall and managed to clamp it! Dervish tried to pin In-terror-fied but couldnt, as it went to score! However, ROTROTB blocked In-terror-fied with its scoop! In-terror-fied went to go around ROTROTBs back, and managed to outpace it and deliver the ball over the line!
3-2 to Dervish V/ and Revenge Of The Revenge Of The Bludgeonator!
Dervish V/ and Interrorfied were the strikers again, and once again, Interrorfied used its jaws to steer the ball away towards the wall! Dervish tried to block it, but In-terror-fied was still able to reach the ball - however, the ball rolled away when it tried to clamp it, and time ran out before anyone could catch it!

DERVISH V/ AND REVENGE OF THE REVENGE OF THE BLUDGEONATOR WIN 3-2!

Match Number 3 features WX 6.0 and Forcepower Turbo (WX in goals, FT as striker) against Leprosy Infection and Mega Masher 2 (MM in goals, LI as striker)!

3, 2, 1 - ACTIVATE!
In the centre, Forcepower Turbo and Leprosy Infection immediately rushed at the ball, and it ended up between them! They struggled for a moment, then Forcepower began shoving LI backward, with the ball still between them! LI would not stand for this and twisted, trying to move the ball out of Forcepowers scoop! It managed to get it past the flaps and began running towards the opposing goal - Forcepower ran after it but being the same speed, it couldnt catch up! As LI came closer, WX 6.0 came to greet it - LI tried to turn away but was hit in the front corner, so the ball drifted out of its grasp! WX 6.0 turned and attempted a pass to Forcepower, who was coming around to get the ball, and it was successful, though almost resulted in an own goal! Dodging LI, Forcepower charged across the arena at Mega Masher 2, who remained in its side on position. Forcepower aimed for the small gap and didnt get the ball through it, but slammed into MM2! MM2 moved to plug the gap, but Forcepower shoved against it, and eventually pushed MM2 back enough to get the ball across the line!
1-0 to WX 6.0 and Forcepower Turbo!
As the match began again, both Leprosy Infection and Forcepower Turbo went for the ball, but as LI got to it, it turned to knock the ball away from Forcepower, who was coming straight on! Unfortunately, this manouvre meant that Forcepower accidentally got LI in the side, preventing it from getting the advantage! Instead, Forcepower turned and got to the ball first, but this time, as it manouvred to go for the goal, LI tried a tackle, managing to twist into Forcepowers wedge and knock the ball away! As LI tried to twist off Forcepowers wedge, the ball rolled towards Mega Masher 2, who came out of the goal for a moment and knocked it. Getting ahead of Forcepower, LI got the ball in its C scoop, and ran towards the goal with Forcepower in hot pursuit! WX 6.0 came out as Leprosy Infection approached, running to catch it head on, but LI turned and just got hit in the side! The ball rolled away, but LI caught up with it before Forcepower could! WX 6.0 reversed, and just managed to block LIs way to the goal! With Forcepower pressuring it on one side, LI tried to push past the two opponents and score, and eventually, it nudged the ball through a gap! Forcepower Turbo went for the ball, but Leprosy Infection ran onto the scoop and helped to send the ball rolling over the line before WX 6.0 could stop it!

The match resumed, and again Leprosy Infection tried to turn the ball away from Forcepower Turbo, but Forcepower had expected that! Turning faster, it knocked the ball away itself, and quickly caught it! As Forcepower turned, LI tried to tackle it again, but Forcepower turned away and charged at Mega Masher 2 again! LI couldnt get in the right position to take the ball away, allowing Forcepower to make its way, with the ball in its possession, to the goal. It hit Mega Masher 2 hard, and the ball jumped but remained in the scoop. Soon, with Forcepower using its superior power to shove Mega Masher 2 into its goal, the ball was over the line again!
2-1 to WX 6.0 and Forcepower Turbo!
Once again, the two strikers attempted to obtain the ball by turning at the last moment - but they ended up turning in opposite directions! However, with its more solid scoop pushing past Forcepower Turbos flaps, it was Leprosy Infection who got possession of the ball, and began making its way towards WX 6.0s goal! Forcepower reversed after it, and as they were at an angle to each other when they made contact, Forcepower gave LI a nudge that made it lose the ball! However, when Forcepower turned, both robots were even, and both struggling to reach the ball! WX 6.0 came out to lend its teammate a hand by nudging it in its direction, allowing Forcepower to break away and capture the ball in its scoop! LI ran after Forcepower as it charged towards the goal - as it came in, Mega Masher 2 turned to try and keep Forcepower from getting the ball over the line! However, this opened up a gap, and Forcepower turned to exploit it! But as it came in, MM2 turned again and closed the gap, so the ball ended up on MM2s wedge, then sliding off and to the side of the goal! Both Forcepower Turbo and Leprosy Infection went to get it, but as they struggled against each other, time ran out! WX 6.0 and Forcepower Turbo both moved into the centre and spun in victory, to cheers from the amused crowd!

WX 6.0 & FORCEPOWER TURBO WIN 2-1!

The final first round match has 4 Wheel Steering and Seggy The Third (both robots as strikers) against specially designed X and I (X as striker, I in goals)!

3, 2, 1 - ACTIVATE!
4 Wheel Steering, Seggy the Third and X all made for the ball - 4WS and X collided at the ball, and 4WS looked set to carry it away until X fired its panels and shot the ball away! However, when the ball bounced off the wall, Seggy reached it first and started moving towards Is goal! X tried to follow, but was blocked by 4WS, allowing Seggy to reach I! The width of I meant it could block Seggy - when the ball drifted into Is clutches, it sprung it out of Seggys scoop, into the wall and away! X ran after it, eventually catching it in the corner, but 4WS came in from behind, pushing X off the ground to reach the ball, and eventually doing so! It sped away with the ball in its scoop and went for I itself, but was blocked! Trying again, it was blocked again, but went into Is rear side and pushed, allowing the ball over the line!
1-0 to 4 Wheel Steering and Seggy The Third!
With Seggy behind them, X and 4WS came together on the ball again, and again X managed to steer the ball within its panels and fire - the ball bounced off the wall and almost went into the enemy goal! X went for the ball, but Seggy got there first - however, X met it in the front, claimed the ball and managed to fire it into their goal!
1-1!
This time, as the strikers reached the ball, 4WS steered the ball away from X before it could fire, but still struggled to escape X pressuring it at the sides! So Seggy came in and accepted the ball, but as it went for I, X outpaced it, got its panels into the ball and fired it away! The ball bounced off the wall, off Seggy and away - being nearest, 4WS managed to catch it first and run it towards I before X could catch it! It dodged Is attempt to block and went for the other side, but I managed to keep it away long enough to get the ball in its panels! Now the ball flew over 4WSs body and away - X caught it, escaped a tackle attempt by Seggy and fired the ball into the enemy net again!
2-1 to X & I!
In the fourth collision, 4WS and X struggled for possession until X used its panels again, firing the ball into a corner! Seggy got possession, but had to run from X! Fortunately, 4WS came in to block X long enough for Seggy to attempt to score - unfortunately, I was there to swallow the ball and shoot it away from Seggy and into the wall, so X could claim it again! 4WS ran alongside X to keep it from scoring, but as they turned in a circle, X eventually had a clean shot, and took full advantage!
3-1 to X & I!
For the second time, 4WS successfully steered the ball away from Xs panels, but X reversed after it so 4WS ran into its side, and X used its side panels to send the ball over 4WS! But Seggy caught it before it could enter the goal, but then found itself facing X head on! The three strikers came together in a scrum, which quickly ended when X fired the ball away again - as it bounced off the wall, it very nearly went into the goal! 4WS got to it first, but X came after it and used its side panels again to fire the ball into the wall and across the arena! X followed and captured the ball, but Seggy came in and managed to steer it away! However, as the ball rolled away, X caught up with it first, fired it before 4WS could come in - and missed! The ball bounced off a corner and reentered the arena centre, allowing 4WS to get possession, and although it got pressure from X again, it escaped and went for I! I tried to snatch the ball, but 4WS dodged - I reversed and caught the ball before it could go in the other side, and shot it away again! Again, X caught it before anyone else, went closer to the enemy goal, so when it shot, it didnt miss!
4-1 to X & I!
As the match restarted again, X was able to shoot the ball away from 4WS and into the wall, but Seggy blocked it when it bounced off, preventing a goal-in-one, as it were! Seggy turned around and got the ball in its scoop, and went for I with 4WS and X coming in with it, but time ran out before anything more could happen!

Little Sister & TIRTASM vs Dervish V/ & Revenge Of The Revenge Of The Bludgeonator
WX 6.0 & Forcepower Turbo vs X & I

Wot, no tactics? Oh well. Daves right on his thread - it has been quiet here, hasnt it?

Lets begin the semi final footie matches with Little Sister & TIRTASM against Dervish V/ & Revenge Of The Revenge Of The Bludgeonator - the latter scored more goals in Round 1, but then again, the former didnt let any in!

3, 2, 1 - ACTIVATE!
Little Sister ran at the ball to find itself being joined there by Dervish V/ and Revenge Of The Revenge Of The Bludgeonator! Dervish V/ got there first, steered it away from Little Sister and towards TIRTASM! However, TIRTASM charged at Dervish, knocked it off balance, and it lost the ball! Little Sister managed to get the ball against the wall, but found itself facing ROTROTB! ROTROTB accidentally scooped up Little Sister as it went for the ball, but quickly moved away and captured the ball in its scoop! Suddenly, it was tackled by Little Sister and almost lost the ball, but Dervish picked it up and ran at TIRTASM again! It tried to turn away from TIRTASM as the goalkeeper charged, but still lost the ball when TIRTASM hit it in the side! ROTROTB managed to pick it up, but TIRTASM went for it - however, ROTROTB manouvered past it and got the ball over the line!
1-0 to Dervish V/ and Revenge Of The Revenge Of The Bludgeonator!
As the three strikers rushed the ball, Dervish got it and carried it quickly at TIRTASM - as TIRTASM came out, it dodged, losing the ball momentarily, but getting hold of it again, outpacing the advancing Little Sister and sending the ball in before TIRTASM knocked it!
2-0 to Dervish V/ and Revenge Of The Revenge Of The Bludgeonator!
For the third time, Dervish V/ got possession of the ball and went to score, but TIRTASM stayed closer to the goal this time. When Dervish came in, TIRTASM successfully blocked it, and the ball was stuck between them! ROTROTB moved in, shoving its teammate and the ball, but TIRTASM blocked that attempt as well! Dervish V/ manouvered itself and the ball out of the scoop, and went round to score, but collided with Little Sister and lost the ball - however, it was quickly picked up by ROTROTB, who was itself shoved in the back by Little Sister and lost possession! Little Sister went round ROTROTB to get the ball, but was scooped up along with the ball as ROTROTB tried to score again! TIRTASM blocked it, but ROTROTB went under it as well, so was able to shove it along and take the ball over the line!
3-0 to Dervish V/ and Revenge Of The Revenge Of The Bludgeonator!
When Dervish V/ again got the ball, dodged Little Sister and moved to score, TIRTASM blocked it with its body again, and this time twisted a little to shove the ball towards Little Sister! Little Sister picked it up, just missed being caught by ROTROTB, and ran all the way to the undefended goal before Dervish V/ could catch up with it!
3-1 to Dervish V/ and Revenge Of The Revenge Of The Bludgeonator!
Dervish V/ now hung around its teams goal while Little Sister and ROTROTB tried to get the ball - Little Sister reached the ball, but as it tried turning it away, it was accidentally scooped up by ROTROTB, who went after the ball and got it! However, Little Sister twisted and knocked the ball out of the scoop, before running out and after it, then going for Dervish V/! As it got close, Dervish V/ came and met it, running over the flipper and away with the ball, across the arena towards TIRTASM! With a quick movement and a shove, TIRTASM sent Dervish V/ reeling and the ball rolling, but ROTROTB picked it up! TIRTASM, however, ran into its side and shoved it away from the goal! ROTROTB twisted and went for the goal again, this time getting under TIRTASMs side again and taking the ball in!
4-1 to Dervish V/ and Revenge Of The Revenge Of The Bludgeonator!
On the next restart, Little Sister spun as it reached the ball, then dodged ROTROTB and went for the ball as it rolled towards the wall. But when it got there, ROTROTB was also there, getting the ball in its scoop! Little Sister shoved ROTROTB, but failed to make it lose the ball - it headed for TIRTASM, but was knocked off course by Little Sister again! After a struggle, ROTROTB manouvered to go for the goal, and when TIRTASM tried blocking it again, it ran into the scoop and could not stop another goal being scored!
5-1 to Dervish V/ and Revenge Of The Revenge Of The Bludgeonator!
Knowing there wasnt time for its team to catch up, Little Sister went for the ball anyway and flipped it for the crowd! The ball went up, and bounced on the floor, but didnt go in the goal! Dervish V/ came out momentarily to knock the ball towards ROTROTB, but Little Sister caught it instead! However, time ran out before a last minute goal could be scored!
CEASE!

DERVISH V/ AND REVENGE OF THE REVENGE OF THE BLUDGEONATOR WIN 5-1!

X & I scored more goals than anyone else in their Round 1 match, but that doesnt mean theyll beat WX 6.0 & Forcepower Turbo! Lets find out who else will go into the football final!

3, 2, 1 - ACTIVATE!
X quickly reached the ball before Forcepower Turbo - manouvering it to a good spot, it fired! The ball rocketed towards the goal, but bounced off WX 6.0, and Forcepower got possession! However, as it went to score, X intercepted it, ran onto the wedge and shot the ball away, then ran after it as it ricocheted off the wall! It got hold of it, moved away from Forcepower, fired at the goal, and scored!
1-0 to X & I!
Again, X got to the ball first, and this time it ran around Forcepower to get closer to the goal before shooting. WX 6.0 tried to block it, but X just changed position and fired the ball in again!
2-0 to X & I!
When X got the ball again, Forcepower shifted to try and block it, but X was too fast and managed to get a good distance from it. It fired at the net again, but WX 6.0 successfully blocked it! Forcepower retrieved the ball before X, but X was soon upon it trying to get possession, resulting in a series of twists! Forcepower gradually moved closer to the goal, and when X ran onto the wedge, it came in at the wrong angle and missed the ball when it fired! Carrying X with it for a short distance, Forcepower managed to reach I, shoving it and the ball backwards! I fired and sent the ball away, but it had already crossed the line!
2-1 to X & I!
Getting possession of the ball immediately for the fourth time, X whizzed around Forcepower, just avoiding being caught on the wedge, and successfully shot the ball past WX 6.0 again!
3-1 to X & I!
Forcepower remained stationary as X got possession of the ball again and started moving into position, but then went after it! X saw it coming and ran with the ball, but was still too quick, and able to get far enough away to shoot at the goal! The ball flew, glanced WX 6.0s wedge and went in!
4-1 to X & I!
This time, Forcepower moved back towards the goal, and watched as X took the ball and started shifting to try and score! With the combined efforts of WX 6.0 and Forcepower Turbo, it couldnt find a gap, so took a risk and came in close. Forcepower came to meet it, but X successfully dodged - seeing a gap, it sent the ball in again!
5-1 to X & I!
Getting hold of the ball once again, X again had to try and get past WX and Forcepower to the goal! When they didnt shift, it tried shoving a gap through them, only for WX 6.0 to get underneath, causing it to lose the ball, so Forcepower could pick it up! It raced across the arena with X coming after it, and eventually Forcepower, X and I all came together around the goal! Is firing was better timed this time, and the ball went flying over Forcepower before it could cross the line! X beat Forcepower back to the ball, and again it shot it past WX 6.0s defence!
6-1 to X & I!
Forcepower now tried striking again, but still couldnt beat 25mph X to the ball! It moved backwards towards the goal as X lined up the shot - X fired when it wrongly thought it could, and the goal was defended by WX 6.0! Forcepower picked up the ball and went towards I, turning away as X inadvertently crashed into it! It found itself spinning around again to avoid X, and the ball ended up rolling away from it! It managed to catch it again, and gradually made its way towards the goal, but before it could score, X got in the right position and fired the ball away, into the wall, off it, then off Forcepower! X and Forcepower raced towards the ball - X got there first, but was pinned against the wall by Forcepower! It still attempted to score, but the shot was blocked, and WX 6.0 itself took the ball and ran for the goal! It got there, but I successfully stopped it and turned the ball back! Having escaped from Forcepower, X got the ball as Forcepower went to defend its goal, but then time ran out! Dervish V/ & Revenge Of The Revenge Of The Bludgeonator vs X & I

I dont know if I speak for everyone here, but there just doesnt seem to be much point posting tactics for football beyond whos striking and who isnt.

Extremely wootified at how XI is doing though:)

We come now to the VFT6 Football Final. Who will be the top scorers - Dervish V/ & Revenge Of The Revenge Of The Bludgeonator (having scored 8 goals and let in 3) or X & I (who have scored 10 goals and let in 2)?

3, 2, 1 - ACTIVATE!
Dervish V/ and Revenge Of The Revenge Of The Bludgeonator went for the ball, but stopped as X got there first! X tried to fire the ball between them, but it glanced off ROTROTBs side and away from the goal! Dervish V/ went for it, closely followed by X! As Dervish V/ got the ball in the corner and steered it away, X ran straight into it! They struggled with the ball, until ROTROTB suddenly came in and scooped under them both to claim it! Turning around, it went to score, but X was soon after it! ROTROTB tried twisting away, but eventually X caught up and ran into the scoop! Getting the ball, it fired, causing the ball to bounce off the inside of the scoop and over its body! Dervish V/ was quick to pick it up and charge at the goal, running alongside it to outpace I before twisting and sending the ball in!
1-0 to Dervish V/ & Revenge Of The Revenge Of The Bludgeonator!
The three strikers went for the ball again. Once again, X was the first to get possession, and this time when it fired, the ball went between Dervish and ROTROTB, straight into the goal!
1-1!
Dervish V/ and ROTROTB stayed closer together as they approached the ball, so when X got hold of it again, it had to steer around them. Dervish V/ went for it, but X managed to stay ahead long enough to get into position and fire the ball into the goal again!
2-1 to X & I!
Dervish V/ now hung around the goal and left ROTROTB to go for X as it claimed the ball again. Easily keeping ahead, X came close to the goal and fired, but Dervish V/ successfully used its body to deflect the ball! Unfortunately, it rolled back towards X, who went to the other side of the goal, but found ROTROTB approaching! It steered away, only to collide with Dervish V/! They struggled again until ROTROTB came in, and allowed Dervish V/ to gain the ball while it blocked X for a moment! Dervish V/ charged at I, but when I moved to block it, it had to change course quickly, and the ball rolled away from it! Catching up as X was coming in, Dervish went for the goal again, but I successfully blocked it again! Before Dervish could get the ball away, I used its panels on it, but this caused the ball to ricochet between the two robots until it rolled away and Dervish could pick it up! Steering away, Dervish ran into X - there was another wrestling match over the ball, but again, ROTROTB came in to end it, getting under and shoving the ball over the line!
2-2!
X got hold of the ball again, and when it did, ROTROTB moved back to join Dervish V/ in defending the goal! X danced around, looking for a gap, and eventually ROTROTB moved out to try and grab the ball! Taking its oppotunity, X dodged ROTROTB and sent the ball in before anyone could stop it!
3-2 to X & I!
Dervish and ROTROTB remained guarding their goal as X got possession and looked for a chance to score! Dervish and ROTROTB guarded the goal well, but they wouldnt score this way, so both moved tentatively out. X ran towards the gap, but had to reverse when ROTROTB went for it! Unfortunately, Dervish was coming in from the other side and collided with X, again keeping it there long enough for ROTROTB to plow in and claim the ball! But ROTROTB wasnt fast enough to keep ahead of X, who despite attempts to keep it off, ran into the scoop again! Unfortunately, it came in at the wrong angle to catch the ball, and ROTROTB was able to carry it towards I! It met I, who due to Xs body being in its way, couldnt reach the ball in ROTROTBs scoop, and stop it crossing the line!
3-3!
With time running out, the next goal would decide the winner! Again, Dervish and ROTROTB guarded their goal against the speedy X. When X went round the side to try and get it in, ROTROTB approached it. X immediately went in, but Dervish was guarding the goal from behind, and when X fired, it successfully deflected the ball! Both X and Dervish V/ ran at the ball, X getting there first but being pinned in by Dervish! Once again, ROTROTB had to intervene - X was shoved aside as ROTROTB passed the ball to Dervish V/, who ran at the enemy goal! When X approached, Dervish turned away quickly - and lost the ball in the process! X just managed to grab the ball as Dervish ran into it side on! Escaping, X rushed at the enemy goal, which ROTROTB ran to defend! Going around ROTROTB, X fired - AND THE BALL WENT IN! A GOLDEN GOAL FOR X & I!

While were waiting for tactics, I have a request for..well, anyone really. For fun, and because its interesting, Im gathering up information on RW, BB, Robotica and Techno Games - I can get most of it off the Net, but I cant find the Gauntlet and Trial results for RW Series 1 and 2 (except in the S2 semifinals), or the results of the Techno Games series (I recorded the results of Series 3 when it was on, but if I got the results of the other series, Ive lost them). So if anyones got the Gauntlet and Trial results (not just who went out, but distances travelled in the gauntlet and positions/scores in the trials) for RW 1 and 2, and results from the Techno Games series (except Series 3, which I have), could you email them to me, please?

If anyones doing anything similar (or maybe its just me), I can email you info myself, or tell you where to find it on the Net.
