Eudial grinned; battle-lust was upon her. "Oh I can assure you, you'll be worse than just 'in bad form'," she hissed, fingering the hilt of the holy sword."It won't be my last, but here's one - catch." With that, Eudial's eyes glowed like fire as, with her free hand, she flung a ball of hellfire at the being with great speed.
----
(OOC: battle strategy. I want the main guy's head, so please leave him to me. :P My suggestions to my comrades is that Steve and either Badnik or GF93 take out the postman and the samurai, as they seem pretty quick and can distract me, and one of GF93 and Badnik (whoever didn't help Steve) go after the ogre. NFX I think would have an easier time with the Wigglytuff and Tracy can likely distract the leader and minions using her long-range spells; hell, looking up Marisa's powers, that magic would huuuurt. o.o
What I want to do against the Leader guy is conceal my Lance until he gets dangerously overconfident. He seems like the cocky type so I want to lure him into a false sense of security, thus I'll just pepper him with fire attacks (preferably hellfire) and use my blade for close-range combat. If the need calls for it, I've still been charging the loci so I can probably deck him with a powerful blast. Hell, I could try a combination of using the fire extinguisher and my newfound Sand-Attack to blind him. I'll do this when I have the Lance so he can't expect an attack. When I draw out my Lance I do wish to get close enough to him so I can attack him without fear of missing.
If the minions get too much, I'll use my Explosion Inducement power, either placing a palm on the ground and transferring detonation energy into them, or clapping my hands together and blowing them away that way. :P
I realize I probably didn't need all this but I want to be prepared and we don't have any real info on these thugs so yeah. :P)
Aurelia holds her communicator. Forget about the police station down the road, she had a better idea.
"George? Yeah, lovely to hear your voice, hey, listen, I have rounded up a sleazy looking demon here, all unconscious and everything, and I was wondering if you could teleport him back to the castle and put him in whatever holding facilities the castle has. You could? Great. No, The Spanish Inquisition don't wanna teleport back just yet, we are celebrating our victory here together with a poor old lady and hazelnut cake. Yeah, long story."
...
After finishing the final slice of hazelnut cake, and a final goodbye to the poor old lady, The Spanish Inquisition gets their collective behinds back on Maurice Francois's tandem bike, to continue their path through this strange world. Their next destination, New Melded's most read newspaper!
You mean, other than "is that it"? If you seriously think a Dark Age monstrosity is going to depose the world's greatest criminal mind with something as banal as a hostage job, you've got another thing coming.Quote:

(First things first, secure the hostages. I can use the Thoughtsteel to create shielding for the poor sods till the fight's over, but it may not be enough for everyone. One of the bigger lads can play defence in that case.
(Me, I'll leave the armoured tape recorder to the hothead and avoid the necromancer where I can. Ruddy magic. I doubt I can match the rooster in fisticuffs - never thought I'd have to say that again - so I'll stick with the other two.
(I can use try short-circuiting the ogre's dusters with either the mecro-morph, cane lasers or my own manual tools. He's stronger, but I doubt he can catch someone as light-footed as me so easily if I have to disable them up close. Once his weapons are gone, cool his brain with an ice beam and give him a concussive blast for the KO. That or feed him infinite Malteasers till he throws up. Wouldn't mind a distraction from one of you lot.
(As for the old git with the postcards, God knows what he's here for. Given the rest of this place, though, he must have some strange, horrifying gimmick about him. Blast the bugger with concussive sonic waves before he can put his tricks into motion and find out what's so fascinating about those cards after the fight. If he tries anything funny beforehand, tank with my bunker forcefield and bullet shield until either I think of something dashed clever or someone else does.
For great victory! :proud:
(D20 Roll: 3)
[NB: Alex, I'm away tomorrow until Tuesday, so no updates from me till then. Soz. :lame:]
Glancing from one minion to the next, the parrot was more than a little nervous about what was actually going to happen. The main guy might have said they were going to die, but that didn't mean they were going to die. Did it? Suddenly, the blue and yellow robot shot off towards the ogre, Eudial threw a fireball into the face of the leader, and Twitch realised that the intrepid, mismatched group were actually in a proper, full-fledged fight now.
Instinctively, he gave a squawk and flew up into the air, before realising that he had actual wings of steel now. Sort of. The leading edges of his wings. The funny pink ball-looking creature didn't seem especially tough, so Twitch figured that would be a good test of what his new weaponry could actually do. From his high vantage point, the macaw shot down towards the floor, before levelling himself out and swooping along the ground, making a beeline for the small round pink thing...
(D20 Roll: 17)
(D20 roll: 16
people not in the fight don't have to do this)
Marisa drew out her hakkero, threw some mushroom powder in it, and locked and loaded on the postcard master.
"Eat lazer!"
(Rolled an 11.)
Professor Vengeance, Epsilon, Twitch, Eudial, Marisa, Phantasmic Slammer
Vs.
Samurai Chicken, Ogre, Wigglituff Necromancer, Tedious postcard man and the Death of VHS
Eudial has little time for works, and immediately prepares a fiery blast to incinerate the armoured Death of VHS, but even as the bolt appears to be about to connect, a whirring sound emanates from the Black and White armour and the fire bolt reverses down its trajectory and hits back into Eudial sending her spinning backwards although unharmed. It apparently has a rewind function…
Vengeance however has a little better luck, spinning his thoughtsteel blade towards the hostages it morphs into a protective bubble to keep them safe from the fight. Even as he spins to the Ogre he notices that creature isn’t entirely what it initially appeared, a complex suit of power armour is unfolding outwards from those giant knuckle dusters. It’s managed to cover his, arms, shoulders and neck before Vengeance manages to cut some of the actuators with a slice from his cane-laser – still, he only narrowly manages to avoid the massive armoured right hook that demolishes the pillar he had been standing by.
Twitch makes a beeline for the Wigglytuff – even as several assorted creatures begin to rise from the ground around it – but Twitches new blades shatter a spectral Flowerpot man, decapitate a vampire-gerbil and disembowel a zombie Kligon. However even as his blades are inches from his target, he feels an impact from the side. A postcard. Even as he is impacted he feels teleportation sickness as he finds himself suddenly in a paddy field farming mandrakes. Another impact a moment later and he finds himself on a snowy mountaintop, observing Yetis playing backgammon. A third card hits and falls to the ground, next to him, and he realizes that it shows the exact place he now finds himself – a rundown seaside town with low employment rates and miserable weather.
He contacts the castle on his communicator, but apparently there will be a bit of recalibrating before he can teleport back to the fight. However, as he is waiting, he notices something nearby – a small but perfectly formed conch shell. Something about it radiates magic, and he picks it up and stuffs it in his satchel and waits for the teleporter…
Back in the fight, mere moments after he had vanished Twitch off to God knows where, the man with the tedious little moustache is slammed backwards through a window even as he turns to defend himself: a flurry of postcards displaying the beaches of Gallifrey, the Historical Sites of Lemuria and Milton Keynes are incinerated as the man is blasted backwards through the window behind him and down to the pavement below with a thud by the impact of Marisa's laser…
TO BE CONTINUED IN PART II
PART II
Epsilon engages the rooster – the sword hums softly as it swipes in devastating arcs, almost as if the atoms of the air itself are being sliced with every stroke. It takes everything the robot has to keep out of the way of that blade, and one slight hesitation and hydraulic fluid begins to leak out of pipes in his left arm as the blade cuts through his chassis and doesn’t even slow down… Epsilon however manages to bull-rush the rooster and once in close range lets off the miniaturized party bomb directly in the fowl’s face…
Vengeance is struggling to avoid the massive electrified punches of the Ogre, and his recently pristine outfit is caked in the dust of demolition. A quick trip as he tries to sidestep the next blow leaves him seeing the titanic fist accelerating towards his face, but then….
SMASH
Phantasmic Slammer, coated in the yellow paint granting electricity immunity has taken the blow for Vengeance – Electricity lights up the room for a moment, crackling around the hand as it leaves a massive fist shape dent in the top of the combat robot. And then…. FLIP.
A combination of the flipper and telekinesis blasts the Ogre directly upwards through the roof, and he sails out over the city in a huge arc, the end of which can be heard here from several miles away.
The Wigglituff is summoning yet more creatures into the fray – most the horrible remains of creatures from that time Clthulhu was subsidizing Jim Henson’s creature shop from behind the scences and succeed in pushing the team back a bit through sheer numbers. However, seeing an opportunity, the fire laser of Vengeance catches a gap in the horde and one shot of the cane laser hits directly to the pokemons rubbery body, puncturing the thing and sending it bouncing round the room while its minions crumble.
In the duel between Eudial and the Death of VHS, long strands of VGS tape have extended forth from the wrists of the black armoured figure like horrific tentacles from the 80s, and suspend the witch seemingly helplessly in the air… The creature begins to monologue…
“Now you see that I…….ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff fllllllllllllllllllllllaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrrrkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk”
A grin crosses Eudials face. Trying to restrain a pyromancer using highly flammable VHS film is apparently a really stupid idea as fire shoots along the strands back inside the wrists on the Death of VHS, which shrieks with pain. Several more fire blasts and it staggers backwards and then…. Suddenly some crude digital beeping…
“Ahhh it is finally ready, my destruction of you will have to wait a moment.”
Suddenly the whirring starts within the black armour again, though this time it sounds like it is going the opposite way… With the speed of Fast Forward the Death of VHS accelerates out the room at incredible speed to some unknown destination… even as Twitch manages to rematerialize in the room.
However, their feeling of Victory is short lived… a monumental shriek of metal draws them all to the window… one of the nearby figures that had been maintaining the shield – a huge huge retro looking robot has stopped its silent vigil and turned its decidedly creepy gaze towards the party…
Phantasmic Slammer grunts in pain (I think?) due to the dent in his flipper plate. He tries using his telekinesis to pop it back out with no avail. Welp.
"Dafuq is that robot thing? Whatever, let's go for it!" He charges at full speed toward the retrobot.
PLAYZOOKI
Playzooki wanders round for a while but being of a sort who is not easily impressed and very easily terrified, nothing particularly catches his attention. However when he returns to the kitchen he finds the chef robot unplugged and all the food gone!
Replugging the robot in, it reports that some dastardly little mammals of some sort have stolen the food!
KHLOE
Khloe has absorbed so much fascinating information about the Church of Vengeance that even the very enthusiastic Cucumberoo is getting very slightly weirded out by things. Currently she is watching in rapture as Cardinal Zeeb Ra, the Zebra (Zebras are not known for their originality of names) gives a fascinating account of a meeting of Vengeance and a being called the Wootinator.
"Damn you! Get back - " The enemy had already left. "...here." Eudial groaned. She was starting to have the upper hand too.
And then...Eudial caught sight of this and jumped back. "Heads up!" she cried. Drawing fire about her, she assumed a defensive stance, ready to fry or overload this thing's circuits if need be.
AURELIA
After a bit of communication with George, a little while later the unconscious form of the Demon demaerialises as the Castles' systems bring him into the holding cells deep in its depths. The team enjoy some delicious hazelnut cake before considering their next options.
After a while, they say their farewells to the old lady, and continue onwards! Aurelia herself asks around, and after consulting a Flotilla of Tiny Floating Galleons, discovers that the biggest newpaper in the Melded News-Hawk. After a bit of cycling around the city, and they arrive a the gates of the News Hawk Offices - a dramatic glass tower with a very noticable feature on the top. A series of portals are opening and closing constantly allowing various alternate universe versions of the mechanical bird that is the mascot to fly across and then vanish - golden ones, silver ones, rusted ones, ones of energy, ones of fire, all briefly making their appearances.
The front door is wide open, and the reception inside is open to the public.
LELAND AND CLEO
After a bit of travel, find themselves outside the home of the accountant they had been refered to...
With a faint pop, Twitch appeared back alongside the rest of the group, shaking himself a little. He was never going to get used to teleportation, was he? Looking around the room, he noticed a broken window, a giant hole in the roof, and numerous other nuances of his surroundings that imply a pretty substantial battle had just finished. "What...what happened?" he asked, still noticeably woozy from the multiple teleportations in a relatively short timeframe.
Before he could get an answer, though, a metallic screech echoed out around him, and he slowly turned his gaze to the window, in time to watch the immense mechanical beast lumbering towards the fighters. All the macaw could manage was a faint squeak, as he began slowly moving backwards...tripping over his bag of holding. Twitch looked from his bag, to the robot, and back to his bag. You could almost see the idea forming in his head, as he stuffed his beak into the bag, and pulled out one of the three flash bombs.
Carrying the bomb in his beak, Twitch gave a rather loud squawk to get everyone's attention, before coming in to land, bag in tow, amongst the remaining members of their clan, and throwing the bomb straight into the ground.
VENGEANCE, TWITCH, EUDIAL, MARISA, EPSILON and PHANTASMIC SLAMMER are all hit by the FLASH BOMBS granting them superspeed for the next approximatly 2 and a half minutes. You have ONE post to describe what you do with that time of super speed, where you can operate at 100 times normal speed
Melded News-Hawk! I desire to place... an ad!
As soon as the bomb went off, Twitch staggered backwards slightly. That was a little more disorienting than he had expected. Despite that, he somehow felt faster, and a quick shake of his wings confirmed this, giving off a faint buzzing noise. The macaw gave an excited smile, before shooting towards the mechanical goliath like a feathered rocket.
Twitch smashed his way through the window with a noticeable bang (It was hard to tell whether the window had shattered before Twitch reached it or not), zeroed in on the mechanoid, and began zooming all around it, hacking and slashing away with his wings and his tail at any unprotected and vulnerable-looking areas he could find as he went. It was a retro robot, so it was bound to have some weak spots.
(OOC: Twitch has only used one Flash Bomb, Alex. Your above post has "Flash Bombs", plural. I would like this rectified to avoid confusion. Twitch still has two bombs at his disposal. =D)
Phantasmic Slammer is now going even faster. Shit's about to go down.
playzooki wondered how the mammals had got in here.
"How did they get in? Is there anything left?"
NOTE: I will wait for a little while before fighting the Retrobot to allow tactics.
PLAYZOOKI
"There is nothing left, the food replicator is gone too!" The chef robot exclaims.
Playzooki can't see how it would have got in in the first place, but there is a trail of crumbs leading out of the door into the next room...
AURELIA
"Greetings, we are accepting ad space purchase at this time - what would you like to advertise?"
"I would like to advertise THIS!
"Recently, a group of fearless heroes banded together to avert a rift crisis of incomprehensible magnitude. These men and women have developed close ties with other rift specialist, as well as with the Church of Vengeance. Today, the world still needs heroes, and we put ourselves forwards as heroes for hire. If you have a problem... if no one else can help... and if you can find them... maybe you can hire... The Spanish Insquisition.
[insert contact details of my communicator and the castle here]
We accept novelty items for our payment.""
playzooki follows the trail of crumbs.
Marisa packs as much mushroom powder as she can into the hakkero, hops on her broom, flies out the window, and prepares to let loose the mother of all lazors at that things face/eyes/sensors/what have you.
(OOC: I'm gonna speed up my Explosion Inducement and try to explode whatever power source this thing has. Failing that, just run rings around it and cause the huge heat waves to melt it. Can't risk using the fireflies since we're in a public place.)
AURELIA
After waiting a while, Aurelia returns to the castle to find a crowd gathered on the ground beneath the castle, ready to join her Crusade against whatever it is she is crusading against. This edition hasn't been out for long, but clearly the group that has gathered here are the ones who believe most of all in your cause!
There are about 30 in all, mainly humanoid and on a human scale, but a few particular individuals stand out:
Shandra Wolf - A 24ft tall giant woman wearing red leather who looks like she has walked out of a blaxploitation film. She has a scaled up sawn off shotgun.
Voxel - A crude artificial human somehow created digitally and looking like a PS1 standard model.
A Trio of Vlobleths - Aliens who once made a very poor attempt to invade earth. Because of their lack of eyes, they didn't realise that a blob of green slime in the shape of a human isn't a good disguise.
Mr Rayner The world's greatest master of the piccolo.
Also there are a few individuals who have come to hire you out!
- A Efreet who believes that she is being followed by shadows.
- A talking Donkey, who has had some rare and dangerous books stolen from his library.
- A hamster who has lost his diamonds.
PLAYZOOKI
Following the trail of crumbs throughout the castle, it eventually leads to a door that has been pulled to. Nibbling can be heard on the other side.
HOSTAGE TEAM
The huge robot stomps towards them and the police in between the two of them retreat out of the way; clearly this sort of fight is several miles above their pay-grade.
Phantasmic Slammer is first on the attack, and tries to get under it to flip it, however, being significantly smaller than the mech, and currently significantly faster, ends up more dislocating the armoured plates of its foot and knocking it backwards slightly with the shockwave caused by its ridiculous acceleration. The giant mech fires a huge beam of crackling blue fire from its mouth and swings its colossal fist, but to the team in their current hyper accelerated state, both appear sluggish gradual attacks easily which are easily walked past, let alone run past.
Twitch and Epsilon take up the front line - the hyper accelerates blades of the Parrot's quickly find a bunch of exposed cables near the right armpit and sever them, sending the arm below it into spasm. Epsilon doesn't seem to have any specific tactics, and begins to punch the machine at supersonic speeds, slowly buckling the shin-plate until it bursts off exposing the wiring beneath and then just continues punching - the much mechanical man begins to have alarms going off to signify system failures...
The fire beam of it's breath find Vengeance, but wash over his explosion proof shield - a dome around him of crackling blue energy where the fire touches it, while Vengeance himself is utterly unfazed - firing off bolts from his cane that pierces straight through the robot, though are so fine that they seem to cause negligible damage to the huge mass of the machine. Marisa circles the creatures head, causing a continuous sonic boom at the speed she is travelling, while her energy blasts utterly shred the eyes sending showers of glass to sprinkle down over the city below.
However, it is Eudial who finishes this fight... as she induces the explosion of the power core embedded in the mechs chest, in what would normally take a while to manipulate a core of this size, the acceleration of the whole process seems almost instantaneous to the outside world - the mighty swirling vortex of energy detonates, leaving a circular hole right through the robots chest and the machine crumples to the ground and the lights go dead.
As the team approach the robot's form on the ground, a panel slides open and the body of the Death of VHS is ejected from a slot - it looks like it has been added in specifically so he can take control.
"Greetings true believers! Thank you all for coming in such great numbers. Every single one of you shall be called upon when the magnitude of the the threat calls for it. For now, however, there are 6 individuals that stand out of whom I want to know what they are capable of. They are the 24ft tall giant woman, the crude artificial human, the 3 aliens and the flutist!Quote:

George! Could you be so kind to prepare 3 defensive automatons that this castle has? Set them on non lethal, of course. I would like to know how our team of 6 outstanding individuals will fair against them.
Conesnatcher, Wentworth, Imogen and Gold, I set upon you the task to observe this battle, but not intervene! I want you to report back to me how these individuals did, both as individual warriors, as well as as a team. You shall be my eyes, whilst I attend to these people here, who are not here to help us, but because they need help! They should not be looked down upon, they should be respected and helped!"

Eudial growled. She drew out the silver Lance... just to make sure. Her strength was still overall weak, but since she was still under the effects of the flash bomb...
STAB.
She cleaved through the rift armour and impaled the enemy through the chest.
No reaction.
So he really was dead.
"Bastard," growled the Witch. She socked the prone form in the face with her fist, then turned to the others. "Well... that's that. I suppose we should head back to the castle now."
As they approached the house where the company's accountant lived it occurred to Gaunt that the tablet hadn't really specified much personal information about the accountant. Not what species he was (although with all the rather bizarre forms he had encountered so far maybe that didn't actually matter), nor did it mention what he was like temperamentally. In fact (he looked over the dossier again) Gaunt wasn't even sure this accountant was a he! Well then! As much as Gaunt didn't like going into something with minimal information, he knew that if he couldn't handle this then the whole business was hopeless and he might as well just give it up. So he placed the tablet back into his pocket and walked up to the door with Cleo following and knocked on the door.
As the robot crumpled to the ground, the macaw zipped away to a slightly higher vantage point, and watched as the mechanoid collapsed with a resounding crash. Twitch was, at this point, still giving off a faint buzzing sound as his wings flapped as fast as a hummingbird's normally might. Wings which had proven themselves to be pretty damn effective in that battle, he thought.
"What sort of stuff do you reckon he has?" the parrot asked Eudial, appearing almost immediately a few inches from her face. Before waiting for an answer, though, he started shooting around from point to point near the decidedly dead Death of VCR. He couldn't help noticing, however, that his buzzing was growing both quieter and lower, the blur of his wings appearing to slow. The Flash Bomb must have been starting to wear off for him. Still in the air for now, he started examining the decidedly dead Death of VCR, pecking and clawing at it a little, trying to see what he could find...
The Witch screeched and jumped back a bit. "Quit DOING that!!!" Eudial yelled. "I'm not in the mood for this kind of -""- crap." Eudial let out a snarl of frustration. If she didn't know any better, it was almost as if the stupid bird was intentionally trying to be a bother. She'd roast him alive for that. ...but then again, it was Twitch who had activated the speed-up, and allowed them all to defeat the robot... ironically, now he was moving too quickly to actually catch anything said to him, including anything of gratitude. "Whatever." Eudial sighed.
On looting the VHS and Robot, the team find the following:
The Armour of the Death of VHS
Made of some sort of high tech black plastic, the armour would fit a humanoid. The armour is tough enough to withstand low power firearms and conventional average melee weapons. The fast forward and rewind functions seem to be broken, but it seems capable of a 1 second pause still.
Loads of Mechanical Components from the Robot
Lots of them, they are fairly advanced stuff, but Twitch and Eudial don't recognize any specific components beyond things like "wires" or "pistons".
Now back to normal speed, Twitch had figured the Armour would be better used on someone human-shaped, so he decided to leave that be for now. Inside the robot, on the other hand, were all manner of gizmos, doodads and whatsits, which the macaw could neither understand or figure out a use for. They definitely looked pretty complicated, and they might prove very useful if applied correctly, but first the group needed to figure out what they had on their hands.
Poking his head out of the gaping hole in the torso of the mechanical carcass, Twitch looked around the group from one member to the next, until he spotted the one he thought might be able to help them. "Epsy!"
Eudial takes the armour, knowing her overall durability is questionable at best.
LELAND AND CLEO
Even as they knock on the front door, some information flashes up on the computer about this accountant.
Vociferous Tench
Species: Eel-gnome
Likes: Swamp-beet wine
Reading the Daily Mail
Complaining about things
Supporting his local Swampball team - the Bridgewater Bitterns
Dislikes: Most other things
Any other swampball team
After a few moments, Vociferous opens his front door - he stands about 2 foot tall and has smooth, slimy dark silver skin, big reflective eyes and webbed hands and toes. He peers at you suspiciously.
"May I help you?"
AURELIA
While your team inspects the new recruit, you talk to the Donkey, who is currently very upset. His name is Meander and he is the librarian at the Library of Arcane, Thaumatological and Mystic Studies in Melded - the most renowned gathering of all books of magical subjects in this arm of the galaxy.
What seems to have happened is someone has got into the super tough inner vaults where the most dangerous books are kept and taken three incredibly unique volumes:
Notes on the Origin of Doomforall - by Dr Shah
Tales of the Outer Dimensions and their Powers - by Travavian the Wanderer
A Study of Rift Energy - by Anjushree
Aurelia turns to the Efreet and the hamster.
"Dear Efreet and hamster, sadly The Spanish Inquisition can only handle 1 case at any given time, but if you give me your contact details I will make sure we will come to a satisfactory solution."
And back to Meander the Talking Donkey.
"Meander! You are in luck, because the writer of "A Study of Rift Energy", Anjushree, is in the castle you are observing right now. I propose you and I enter this castle and we shall inform Anjushree of this situation. Maybe the gryphon even has a spare copy!"
And Aurelia and Meander walk into the castle...
Slammer glances curiously at some of the mechanical components.
"Some of these pistons look powerful. Perhaps I could upgrade my flipper with them..."
"I'd just need someone to fit them in for me. Once we get back to base, possibly someone there could help?"
AURELIA
The Efreet and the Hamster are fine with waiting - they are glad these cases are getting any attention at all.
As Aurelia brings in Meander, the Griffon addresses the two of you "Ahhhh and who is this you bring to me?"
PHANTASMIC SLAMMER
After rummaging through the robot, PS has found a few different options that would fit his systems. These include enough components to reinforce the rest of PS to be able to accomplish these feats.
Liquid osmium hydraulics: Would produce a very slow but incredibly strong lifting motion - capable of lifting 200 ton weights.
Serpentine hydraulics - rather than a single piston, hundreds of tiny pistons along a segmented body (OOC: think Dr Octopus arms) would allow equal strength to currently, but allow the flipper to move freely in any direction as something slightly closer to a fully functional limb.
Electromagnetic lifter - Designed in such a way and with such power than while not firing (at a strength of 10 tons) PS would be able to hover off the ground when needed.
AURELIA
After reviewing the recruits, your team makes the following observations:
Shandra is a supremely skilled fighter, capable of dispatching opponents with ease, as well as an accomplished field leader.
Voxel is a decent fighter, but seems to be better suited to espionage.
The Vlobleths are strong fighters, but rubbish tacticians, and need a strong leader.
Mr Rayner has no fighting or tactical skills at all, but his music is so amazing he is capable of inspiring friends or scaring foes.
