Mechanical Noise - Series 2
Id like to offer to team up with Terror Gear.
I think if the 2 of us pester the champ enough, we should between us be able to stop him gettign going, and I think if we could get rid of him itd make it a damn sight easier to win than if we had to fight him one on one. So Yes, Im willing to possibly act as fodder in the name of the underdog, hahaha.
Any agreement?
Mechanical Noise - Series 2
Sky Blast vs Panicking (me) vs Cyclone Force 2.5
Im going to gang-up WITH Cyclone Force on Panicking, if its fine with Chris. My higher speed and ramming force might cause some damage to its aluminium armour
Problem is that it doesnt have aluminium armour. One of the main problems Sky Blast will face is its self. At 32mph it will be almost imposible to control. That it also appears to have 2mm ground clearance under the front as it doesnt say it is 0m and the only other given is 2mm at sides, but i will asume it is all the way round. That in mind i will keep my front to it and if it charges at me it should go up the front, so i will activate the forks and lift it up shove it down the pit, thats if it doesnt drive it self down the pit first.
Mechanical Noise - Series 2
Its 0mm at the front Martyn. And I know about the speed and control issues, and I say, Itll help me - you are the slowest in the fight, whichll help you in control, but youll have to catch me first before you can pit me.
You may not have aluminium armour, but I seem you read that you instead have Lexan. Even better.

Mechanical Noise - Series 2
doesnt say that in the stats :P lol.
Panickings armour is made of the same as the arena walls, and is over 1cm thick, so good luck doing significant damage to it with a flipper....

LOL! I had to laugh at that...:proud:

Paul, the whole You cant fight what you cant catch argument never works. If you want to fight him, you have to approach him. Therefore, catching you isnt a problem.

Mechanical Noise - Series 2
Time to get this ride underway.
A very, very warm welcome to everyone who decided to join me in this second series of Mechanical Noise. It€™s very much appreciated that you all decided to go through the same struggles and upsets I put some of you through the first time I did this, you€™re all very, very patient people.
Either that or you€™re just plain crazy :proud:
LET ZEH WARS BEGIN!
Heat A
Round 1
Fight 1
Psyclonised (1) vs Terror Gear 3 vs B2B
Psyclonised (1): Andy here combines the invertible ring-spinner with the Son of Whyachi cage-spinner into an odd ring-cage-spinner. This proved to be successful enough to become the reigning Mechanical Noise Champion!
In MN1: Has beaten Slammer V, Wind Chaser, Cyberdemon, Flank Attack, Disco 5 and Black Panther Queen to become the reigning champ that he is!
Terror Gear 3: Tony here made a fast drumbot with a hinged wedge at the front, skirts at the sides and a twack at the rear.
In MN1: Did not compete.
B2B: Or Back 2 Basics, Matty here invented a very basic wedge-flipper. It combines good manoeuvrability with a very low wedge and a very decent flipper.
In MN1: Did not compete.

ACTIVATE!
Andy, Tony and Matty, pioneers of MN2, stand proudly in their private control-booths. You heard that right, no cheap €œ2 booths per 3 contestants€Â. I€™ve plundered my royal virtual bank-account to give my warriors the luxury they deserve. I love to serve :proud:. Tony can be seen looking for MOABIE, but he successfully avoided Aaron€™s creation, just like Tony promised to do. Psyclonised holds back to spin up his ring, like he did many a time in the previous series. Terror Gear and B2B have plans of their own and both rush towards the big champ! Terror Gear€™s speed proves to be of great help right there as Andy can do nothing but watch when his heavyweight is wedged by Tony€™s.
CLANG!
Whoa, even now Psyconised€™s hammer has enough energy stored inside to shove Terror Gear aside, but only slightly. Both spinning weapons are stalled and Terror Gear continues to shove Psyclo€™ towards the wall. B2B is closing in 2 and looking for a quick flip. Before this can happen though, Psyclonised wedged bot manages to get some traction, and the LEMbot slowly pushes Terror Gear away! That €œhuge€ 15 mm GC of Psyclonised proves to be a real advantage here! Psyclonised drives away now, speeding up that ring, and B2B still closes in! The wedgebot is practically underneath now AND FIRES THAT FLIPPER!
CRASH!
The flipper interferes with Psyclonised€™s not-yet-up-to-full-speed hammers and BOTH BOTS no make a 360, Psyclonised heavily toppling under the attack of the flipper. The two machines recover quickly, Matty to discover a nasty dent in the titanium plate he calls a €œflipper€Â. The weapon still nicely fits in the chassis though, no harm done there. Psyclonised is now reaching dangerous speeds when Terror Gear has another go. In comes the twackbot, and Psyclonised seems all too pleased to meet him!
CRASH!
Psyclonised clobbers the front-skirt before the drum can even come in, and to me it looks like one of the hinges CAME LOOSE THERE! Terror Gear bravely turns around to hit Psyclonised with its twack, which slows the champ down to some degree, but not completely! This does however, gives Tony some seconds to spin up his drum€¦ or so he thinks! The drum€™s stuck! Some shrapnel from the front skirt got stuck in the drive train right there! In comes B2B for another flip! The flipper gets underneath somewhat more effective this time, and throws Psyclonised up-and-over! But not before receiving another ugly dent by that still-not-stalled-damned-spinning-ring-cage!:proud: CLANG!
Psyclonised lands bravely on its inverted wheels, and backs off from his opponents. The dastardly duo gives chase, although Terror Gear doesn€™t move like he€™s supposed to move with his front wedge scraping along the ground. Andy€™s Giant is toppling heavily (and literally) under the pressure put before him today, but he€™ll be damned if he loses his first match in this brand-new tournament! He attacks the machine closest to him, the fast Terror Gear, with a quick attack at the side!
CRASH!
The attack looks impressive, delivering a dent to Tony€™s piece of machinery, but Andy€™s got other things to worry about. He rushes towards B2B now, Matty hoping to receive Tony€™s backup again. Matty comes in again with a dangerous flip!
CLANG!
Again the two weapons meet! Psyclonised topples up and over, and B2B€™s flipper takes more damage than it did in his previous attempts! As a matter of fact, the flipper does not go down smoothly anymore, and Matty€™s getting impatient with Tony now€¦ AS ARE THE JUDGES!!! Terror Gear hasn€™t moved since his last collision with Psyclonised, but it€™s only now that everyone takes notice of that€¦

CEASE
Terror Gear 3 has been beaten into submission
Psyclonised (1) and B2B go through to round 2!
Later inspections showed that Terror Gear 3€™s wheels stopped spinning the same way the drum did, shrapnel.
Coming next:
Sky Blast vs Panicking vs Cyclone Force 2.5
Chris, I badly wanna know whether or not you agree with Paul€™s proposal :proud:
Mechanical Noise - Series 2
Very impressive fight, Martijn. Nice and long, with plenty of good moments - if only my fights in E.O.T.R were as good!
If Chris says no to attacking Panicking with me, then Ill just attack either of the at random, mostly Cyclone Force, but still attack Panicking.
Once Im under, slam them into the side and flick - with my full-pressure FireStorm esque flipper on the wedge and the top plate, Ill score an OOTA no problem
