Ed, I disagree. Nebelwerfer only broke down in the final because a horizontal spinner hit the vertical spinner and someting had to give and unfortunately that something was the disk mount. Plofbox 2 had a problem with the speed controller (which could happen in any robot) in the semi-finals but apart from that it performed beautifully, and still does.

Heh, that was a spectacular final between Nerbelwerfer and Prolodju (sp?) brief but spectacular!

you should buil 4 of the raps n have them as a tag team
ud have a good chance of winning - them spinners were more reliable then the feather 1s

generally the most unreliable robots are always the newly built ones!
not that im worried about mine of course :) but i am curious how to easily beat spinners, is that possible? my experiances against hornet and little spinner were down to bad luck (for them) perhaps someone can test this method out on Prodigy evo for me, incase im missing something and need to make alterations in the future.
i would like to team up with dragon king, but as im 13.6kg, is it possible he is 10.4kg or less, giving us a combined weight of 24kg

if we can combine it then yes we can as its well under or easily can be - the battery in it is like 2 kg - i think my dads going to build a new dragon king from his Ti bar which will be alot better
and i cnt tell u how to beat spinners :P
but imo flippers are harder to beat as if beauty and a few others got under any1 and flipper then there out :) well thats with new ram which hopefully we can get under weight

James and I have been talking about this for a while now, we wanted this to be the last fully 12kg featherweight event. BUT....
Weve been asked by a number of people if they can enter with 13.6kg.
So, aslong as this seems fair to everyone, we will be running the Tag Team with a COMBINED weight of 24kg. The maximum weight of any robot will be 13.6, NO exceptions! Hopefully this means that there will be a few more teams, and a little bit more fun for everyone.
This means if robots such as Beauty2, Prodigy Evo (possibly pain in the asp?) can find partners that are well underweight you can all join in :proud:.

mine and my daughters that we are bringing are now on my profile, just got to add some more armour to the spinner, will be finished over the weekend. my daughters first event and she will be in whiteboards only for this event, her driving is improving. Her robot kahn is only 11.5kgs, so room for a weapon next year.
