Re: Randomness
Well if the show is anything like the title, it's doomed.
I swear some of the titles of television shows these days are garbage; no inventiveness or imagination at all. Calling it something like Road Rage, or Car Chaos, cheesy though they sound, would've been more interesting than Driving Wars.
I'll give it a watch though anyway, as it's my kind of thing.

Re: Randomness
Any one from this forum involved in this show?

Re: Randomness
It's just a rip off of RW, mixing the two most popular shows on dave: Top Gear & RW.

Re: Randomness
what gets me is its cost nearly £1/4million per episode, better be good for that!
-
Re: Randomness
What we did for Top Gear's Apocolypse DVD cost a fraction of that!

Re: Randomness
it all seemed abit pointless the fact that the teams didn't build the cars themsleves, there was no point in having them remote controlled, most of what they did could have been done with the drivers in the cars. Dont see where all the budget went either!

Re: Randomness
Just watching Driving Wars now. Not impressed.
Presenters aren't very entertaining, are they?
Can't say the 'House' vehicles are well dressed either.
To be honest, I expected more. A demolition ball, more water, someone shooting at it perhaps?

Re: Randomness
I watched it last night and it dissapointed me.
If the cars were faster it would of been better and if there was more destruction it would've been cool

Re: Randomness
I had recorded it, 1hr 7 minutes and I think it took me about 10mins to watch all the parts that weren't pointless chatter, adverts or replays.
