Re: Randomness
The story for the ac series I agree is incredible, I don't know if I was the only one, but I found it quite philosophical, it felt like you weren't playing a game as such which was pretty cool.
The only thing that puts me off the series was that I find it too repetitive, I churn out the missions and once that's done I don't feel eager to go out and 100% it.
Weirdly I was going to go get Skate 3 today but I ended up getting live+mspoints because I haven't had it for ages now*, the demo is sick but it seems too much skate 2, and that they haven't really added anything new that makes it stand out from the older two. I can't sleep and it's 00:40 am, sorry for the long post.
*I got suspended because the credit card we had on my account expired and it wanted to make us pay money which it couldn't for the annual fee... I was really confused as to why I was suspended, but meh.

Some incredible footage from the Australian flooding; absolutely crazy how quickly it took hold. The featherweight arena of the QLD division of the Australian roboteers is also reckoned to be entirely submerged now

Re: Randomness
Thats real bad news. Hopefully your arena is safe and at worse can salvage it. Lets also hope that you, your fellow roboteers, and your families are, and will remain safe.
EDIT:  Silly me Jamie - forgot where you live. Have you managed to dig your way out of the snow yet?
OK Take 2........

Re: Randomness
One of these days I'll find myself living in Australia, but I think that's a good few years away yet! And haven't had snow here for a while compared with the rest of the UK; the west coast of Scotland seems to avoid the hammer blows when it comes to weather. Which is a shame as I enjoy snow much more than a lot of others, if Facebook statuses are anything to go by :)
But on a serious note, let's hope the flood death toll does not continue to rise. I suppose the survival of a material thing like an arena pales into insignificance compared to the loss of life. Also, aside from devastating the country, there is something quite mesmerising about the sheer power and will of Mother Nature.
