Andy and Tony shake hands once more before they go up the stairs to collect their controllers for the middleweight semi final.

The traffic light system is finally on, after Tony had to brush his hair for the fight, and Andy had to drink the cup of coffee, provided to him by the staff.

Activate
And the fight is away, Steel Sandwich making light work of getting away from the starting square. Knee Breaker has started to spin it€™s weapon up to speed, as both robots come together to hug each other. Andy tries to dodge the spinning blade, but Tony is on his case and uses an anti-dodge to anti-dodge the dodge, which was originally made by Andy. Have I confused you yet?
The spinning blade hits the front armour, and apart from causing lots of pretty sparks and scaring to the front wedge/lifter, neither robot is damaged, as Tony turns and runs, taking Knee Breaker away with him. Knee Breaker turns to face Steel Sandwich, as once more, both robots are sent away, but the lifter fires on Steel Sandwich, stopping Andy€™s real robot he borrowed from spinning out of control.
Knee Breaker slams into Steel Sandwich once more, this time, taking away a piece of the armour, and once more, shaking up the small, compact, armoured like a tank middleweight, as another slam on the side, doesn€™t knock anymore armour away, but shakes Steel Sandwich up inside. Andy turns around to go head-on, to Knee Breaker, as both robots meet, Andy is not holding back, as he gets underneath the bar and lifts the front end of Knee Breaker up, but Tony simply drives away, using his better speed.
I lost my faith in the summertime, because it won€™t stop raining, but lucky for us, the entire arena is undercover, so the rain can run all day and all night, we have food, coffee, and entrainment (just call Tony, Toni :proud:), meanwhile the battle of the sandwich and knee breaker is continuing, with an awful lot of funky middleweight dancing, which is boring to say the least, as there is no action. The arena spike fires at random, as both robots come together. Andy hits Tony€™s machine first, but at before, it is spun away by the bar, as Tony puts on the attacking, hitting Steel Sandwich, once, twice, pushing it away, pushing it towards the pit, which hasn€™t been opened yet.
The two robots are dancing with death, playing on the closed pit, as The Steel Sandwich is taking a lot of hits for the time, but it is surviving all of the hits, except for that one, which was a mega hit on the front corner of Steel Sandwich, knocking out the weapon of Knee Breaker and taking out a corner on Steel Sandwich. Knee Breaker reverses, as 30 seconds are left. Steel Sandwich is sitting still, not moving, the lifter is in the up position. Tony wasting no time, points Knee Breaker towards the pit release, depressing the pit release button, as Steel Sandwich drops 6 feet down, into a pot of smoke and tyres.

The lighting traffic light system thingie-bob is lit up, as it goes from red to amber to green, and the second it hits green a large sound rushes throughout the arena, everybody knows what is it (and no it isn€™t Popcorn)
Activate
Atomic comes forward at full speed, as Mini Disco is getting it€™s horizontal disc up to speed. Atomic turns around the sliding door and comes smashing towards Mini Disco, trapping it between the door and the wall. A quick flip on the sides off Mini Disco, puts Martyn€™s robot upside down, but it has moved away from the edge and more importantly away from Tony and his flipper.
Atomic tries to do another ram to get Mini Disco over the arena wall, but Martyn dodges the attack, and gets broad-side onto Atomic, bringing the horizontal disc, straight in onto the exposed framework and wheels of Atomic. Pieces of wheel and suspension come out, as Atomic goes onto one side, as it€™s right hand side drive has been destroyed by that single impact from this modern classic heavyweight. It proves how much technology has moved on.
Ref has started to count out Atomic, which never got going and wasted it€™s golden moment with a flip. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and there goes the red card.

Both boats set sail for St. Petersburg at the same time, wait that is the wrong script.
Both robots are away from the starting squares, at the same time, as Orka Mk 1 wants to use it€™s wedges and pushing power, compared to Andy€™s flipper and pushing power. Who wins, the judges will decide, unless the two robots can come to an agreeable outcome. Le Nez dodges the first attack made by Orka Mk 1, and turns to face the front end of Orka Mk 1. Andy quickly turns around, but is too late, as he is slammed into the arena wall at full speed, to see what it feels like to be slammed around like a rolling stone.
Le Nez gets underneath the side of Orka Mk 1, after another slam, knocking away the rear wedge from the body, but Andy is looking for revenge here, and driving Le Nez, pushes Orka Mk 1 towards the arena wall, before unleashing the power, sending Orka Mk 1, clean over the arena fence and down onto the camera track, knocking out the flip action camera at the same time, which I kinda borrowed from Frank, so Andy you broke Frank€™s Camera, what am I suppose to say to Frank before he finds out that his flip action camera was borrowed?

Im not too worried about Matamata, and my confidence only gets better looking at that 4mm fiberglass. Just ram into him head on with the weapona t full speed. 1-3 hits should do it.
Typhoon, however, will be no walk in the park. I plan to get the weapon to full RPM and then charge into Typhoon full speed. If my weapon brakes, try to pit it, which will be quite difficult. If it dosent, then back off, regain the RPM i lost, then quickly move back in and do more damage. If his weapon somehow breaks, then Ive pretty much won. Just keep taking peices out of him until hes immobile.
If my weapon dies and his dies, however, then I also have a good chance. Push him with my raer into the pit trigger, then shove him into the pit. Be on the lookout for any tricks Typhoon might try without its weapon though.
All in all, this should be a very exciting match.

Tactics are to go for the side areas. If I can bend in those wheel gaurds I can disable the drive. If I knock it up with the weapon, I could beach it on its side or possibly damage the wheels. He may have a really powerful drive, but his shape is woefully inefficient for such an odd machine as The Disc.

Automatic Schmuck vs. Son of Ripper 4 (2)
Well SORs done what it wanted to do this series already, and that was to beat CDM. So it doesnt matter that much if it loses out now (which Ill be surprised if it doesnt).
Really, I dont stand a chance in this one. Ill just have to go for some suicide charges and just hope things work out my way. The Hardox might keep me protected for a while so hopefully mad rams into the spinner might stop it, and from there all I need to do is flip it over and out.
Tails vs. Giga-Byte (15)
Im definately not underestimating the fluffy thing in this match. As soon as possible, clamp it and try to get it down the pit. The flipper is pretty much useless because the sheer size of GigaByte and the fact it can run invertible. The only real danger in this fight is the bar. But if I drive into that and give it a squeeze I should be OK. Afterall, its designed to take knocks from the powerfullest of spinners.
So, drive up to it, clamp it and try to get it down the pit as soon as possible. Avoiding the weapons would be good but neither can really affect me. If things are turning against me, then Ill have to involve putting it into the house robots and shearing it. :)

I have some bad news, my desktop computer has fucked up, meaning I have lost the fights I have written for round 5.
So I have been forced onto my college laptop, which lets say the keyboard sometimes doesnt work, and the mouse roller is annoying to use, hence why until I can at least get my other computer back up working, the fights are delayed until further notice :sad:
But I could get my other computer working as soon as tonight (damn norton antivirus not working properly) and I will do a hard-drive recovery. So all isnt lost :)

Good news everyone, I managed to recover the first fight and my plans, so here are the round 5 fights at fecking last.

Hello and welcome to another update. 8 robots remain, to see which team the NSTT cup is going to ever since the champion was pitted last round. 4 robots will depart company, and 4 will move onto round 6.

Fight 1
Tanto 3 vs. The Disc 5
In the red square, the only real robot left in the competition, Tanto 3.
In the blue square, the most evil and complete robot, The Disc 5.
Matt and Frank shake hands before going up the stairs to join the rest of their teams in the control booths.
The lights are on in the arena, as it is robot fighting time.

Tanto 3 has driven away from the red square, as Matt is looking for a quick ram onto The Disc. Frank has got the weapon of The Disc up to a good speed, as Tanto drives straight into the front of The Disc. The front wedges are underneath The Disc, as the weapon hits the pointed bit forcing the first blood to be drawn. However, the Disc is forced against the wall, but there is nothing Tanto can do, as the disc of the disc has taken a good piece of front wedge with it.
Eventually, the 30 seconds has passed, and Matt reverses Tanto 3 backwards, as Frank starts to power up his weapon again before moving away to attack Tanto as it comes towards The Disc, Frank dodges the attack and lands a good blow on the side plate, knocking Tanto into the air, and another hit from the vertical disc of the disc lands on the side wall, bending the titanium inwards, and onto the wheel. A 3rd hit from Franks machine, and Tanto 3 is in the air, landing on its side.
Matt is trying to do everything to get Tanto 3 off its side, but it has been planted, high and dry.
The ref starts to count out Tanto, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and there goes the red card.

Tom and Andy shake hands at the bottom of the stairs, before moving on up to the control booths to meet the rest of their teams, for Tom it is Aaron and Bob from Team Aussie, for Andy€™s team, he has Michael who controls the weapon and Sophie€¦

The lights are on, as it is robot fighting time, to find out who meets the disc in the first semi final.

And the two robots are off, Automatic Schmuck has it€™s weapon up to speed at once, and Tom is moving forward to get out into the arena, as Son of Ripper drives straight into the side of Automatic Schmuck, but the bar hits the front wedge before Andy can get it underneath those skirts, as Son of Ripper 4 is pushed away, as Tom turns Automatic Schmuck around and drives over onto Son of Ripper, not giving Andy time to breath, and another class hit onto the side Hardox armour, pushing Son of Ripper away.
Aaron revs up the bar some more, as Tom drives into Son of Ripper, to keep on top of the 2nd seed, as last season€™s runner up. Another hit on the sides, as Automatic Schmuck stays on top of Son of Ripper, as it is hit for a 4th time, taking the battering well, and a 5th hit, as Andy is trying to get into a position to fight back, as he turns and runs. Automatic Schmuck gives chase and catches up with the box-wedge, as Andy has depressed the arena pit button.
Another slam from Automatic Schmuck onto the rear plate, as the first damage is done, as the rear panel comes flying away, sliced in two, as Automatic Schmuck attacks once more, hitting the sides, and causing a large cut, deep inside of Son of Ripper, as Andy turns to try to get his weapon into play, but Automatic Schmuck turns and attacks the side once more, and another hit for good measure. Son of Ripper is having a bad day, after the famous victory in round 4; it is being taken apart by Automatic Schmuck, the newbie, and one of the favourites to win the contest, by a smashing heat performance. Another slam onto the side of Son of Ripper, as Andy€™s machine stops turning, as Tom does another slam to be on the safe side, as Andy is trying to move, but nothing is happening.
A quick hop forward from Son of Ripper, signals another hit from Automatic Schmuck, straight onto the front wedge, bending the flipper plate, as the edge of the bar hits into the edge of the flipper, as Automatic Schmuck spins around but lands the right way up, as Aaron slows down the bar, as Tom turns into a rammer, and getting underneath the side of Son of Ripper, proceeds to push Son of Ripper 4 towards the pit. Nothing that special happens on the journey to the pit, until Son of Ripper drops down 6 feet into a cloud of co2.

Achilles is still using the co2 for this fight, mainly because Alex didn€™t say which set-up he was using and hence he uses the setup for last battle, as both robots zoom out of the coloured squares, and both twist to look for each other.
Achilles is running into Drilla Killa 7, as Richard dodges the attack well, and spins around and comes back onto the attack, as both robots finally come face to face, as Drilla Killa 7 manages to get underneath the side of Achilles and pushes the 23rd seed towards the arena hammer. The hammer comes down, once, twice and three times, as Alex manages to get himself off the top of Drilla Killa 7, and automatically comes back onto the attack, flipping Drilla Killa 7 over onto it€™s back, so that the front wedge is useless, but the rear wedge has finally come into play, but Achilles rams into Drilla Killa 7€™s now upturned front wedge and starts to push the invertible robot, towards the arena wall.
Alex turns quickly to line up a good shot, before loading the cylinders with carbon dioxide, firing that piece of metal upwards, and flipping Drilla Killa 7 straight over the arena wall and crashing down onto the other side of the wall, sitting on the camera track.

Will Tails€™ unpredicted luck end here against the former champion? As Steve and Andy meet up for probably the last time in NSTT, shaking hands, a quick wink is passed, as they go up the stairs and into their own control booths to join the rest of their teams. Both roboteers press the button as the boxes have been locked.

Activate
Andy gets away to a quick start, with the Jaws of Life open and ready to munch on some fox. Steve starts to spin his weapon up to speed, and moves out to meet Giga-Byte, and cause some damage. Tails is looking like it been hit by a bomb and placed back together, with pieces of super-glue holding some metal down onto the top of the shell where everybody has been having a go at it. Both robots meet up, as Tails causes first blood, but Andy closes the jaws around the rear end of Tails and starts to push the flurry beast towards the pit release button, Andy not wanting to waste time here, because he wants some more time with Sophie, before she comes down south to go to Southampton University. The damage done to Giga-Byte can not be seen from the arena camera, but the pit has been opened for the 3rd time in round 5.
Tails is trying to get away, but Giga-Byte has pointed the front jaws towards the pit, as he hands over controls to Sophie, as Michael is ready to open the jaws, as Andy takes a step back as Sophie drives Giga-Byte over towards the pit, as Michael opens the jaws as Tails falls down the pit and into a pile of co2.

Andy and Sophie have a quick kiss, Steve is looking kinda sad that Tails is out, but all 4 robots have been found for the semi finals, as the only damage to Giga-Byte is a slight cut in the front armour, but that can be fixed with some metal paste.

Somehow I knew that Id be facing the Schmuck. His bar wont be able to damage my disc, so I plan to go weapon to weapon with him, stalling him and knocking him over with the disc. Self righting looks iffy for him, so if I keep doing that I should win. The shape of the wheel guards should keep those safe, but just in case I have some industrial grade rubbish bags here:proud:

Yay, it is that time again, when I get enough energy to do the fights, after 2 weeks of pretty much writer€™s block, I felt it was best to do these fights before half-term.
The 4 finalists are raring to go, ready to see who will move one step closer to getting the last Far cup to be handed out. However first is the fifth place playoff, where the 4 robots knocked out in round 5 fights each other for 5th place, just for ranking reasons!
5th Place Playoff
Tanto 3 vs. Son of Ripper 4 vs. Drilla Killa 7 vs. Tails
All 4 robots are in the arena, as the 5th place medal is getting ready with the prize money ready for the 5th and 6th placed robots. As the clock lights up above, the traffic lights are on, the red is shining, Ref has his paddle up, as the countdown has began

Straight away the power from Tanto 3 is seen, as Matt drives straight towards Drilla Killa 7, as Tails starts to spin it€™s disc, and Son of Ripper starts to drive towards Tails to get revenge for ForcePower Turbo, as Tanto 3 slams into the front wedge of Drilla Killa 7 getting underneath without much troubles before Matt puts on full power, slamming Drilla Killa 7 straight into the arena wall. Drilla Killa 7 bounces away, the rear wedge took the pain, as it has bent inwards. Son of Ripper meanwhile has flipped Tails over and once more, pushing Tails into the path of the Tanto.
Drilla Killa 7 comes back, and slams into the side of Tails, as it is a Gang Up on Tails moment, as Son of Ripper flips Tails over, as Tanto 3 puts on full power and slams the inverted Tails straight into the arena wall. Andy, gets the front wedge under Drilla Killa 7, the damaged side from it€™s moment against Automatic Schmuck still visible where the panel has a large scar straight though it, as Son of Ripper flips Drilla Killa 7 upwards, as Tanto 3 rams into the rear of Son of Ripper pushing it into Drilla Killa 7, which is resting against the wall, and Andy fires the flipper, sending Drilla Killa 7 over the fence and down onto the tracks.
Tails has opened the pit release, it€™s rear end completely bent from the impact, as Tanto 3, turns and at once is underneath Tails€™ front and has started to push Tails towards the arena wall once more. Son of Ripper turns and gives chase to Tanto 3 as it slams Tails into the wall, making it jump around, before resting on it€™s side, and falling down onto the flipper. Son of Ripper rams into Tails, pushing it around, and giving the rear end a good hit by the rear disc, as Tails starts to leak co2, in a cloud. Tanto 3 slams into the front end of Son of Ripper, and it goes up the wedge. Andy has a smile upon his face, as Tails is counted out by Ref. A sad end for such a comedy robot.
Tanto 3 is flipped quickly over the arena wall, by Son of Ripper, as Andy turns around, as the red card is shown at Tails, as in a twist, Steve€™s robot has survived just long enough to claim 6th. There is no question who gets 5th though.

Son of Ripper flips Drilla Killa 7 and Tanto 3 over the fence rips out the heart of Tails, to take the 5th place medal.

Giga-Byte (15) vs. Achilles (23)
We are positive that a seed vs. non-seed final will take place, as the two remaining seeds take each other one. The old champion against the former NSBFL champion. Only one will get into the final, but whom will it be?
Once more Achilles is using the Co2.

ACTIVATE
And as the first semi final gets underway, Giga-Byte is away first, accelerating away from the starting squares, closely followed by Achilles, as Andy will be trying his old claw and pit method used against all of his victims to date. Alex dodges the initial attack from Giga-Byte, as Andy tries to get around the side, worried about the extra power from Achilles and that flipper, which shouldn€™t affect Giga-Byte because it is invertible.
Alex turns to dodge another attack from Giga-Byte, Andy turning quickly to counter-attack, Achilles attack, as both robots enter into a dancing contest, full of attacks and dodges, as Giga-Byte is trying to attack Achilles to get the claws around the corner because of Achilles€™ length and odd shape being claw unfriendly, but the shock was that Alex has broken away and has opened the pit, by depressing the button.
Both robots turn to face each other, and both drive towards each other, as Andy at the last moment dodges Achilles attack, but can not launch an counter-attack, until it is too late to get around the sides, as Achilles turns around and both robots meet head-on. Giga-Byte fires it€™s claws onto Achilles, and starts to push backwards, but Alex puts down his power and starts to push Giga-Byte backwards, the wheels spinning on the arena surface trying to gain grip, but nothing, as Achilles is getting nearer the pit. Alex doesn€™t want to risk the risk of getting pitted himself, as he holds Giga-Byte near and fires the flipper, sending Giga-Byte up and a quick ram from Achilles and Giga-Byte is down 6 feet under. The smoke has started to rise from the pit, as Achilles spins around, Alex is happy.

Achilles (23) wins over Giga-Byte (15) via pit. Achilles moves into the final to face either Dr. Frank or Mr. Tom.

The Disc 5 vs. Automatic Schmuck
Will The Disc prove to be the robot who beats Automatic Schmuck who has pretty much walked all over the 6 robots it has fought to get to round 6? Or will Tom€™s machine do the job that many has tried and many have failed, in beating the disc?

Automatic Schmuck has it€™s bar up to speed straight away, as Tom starts to move forward, Aaron is controlling the weapon, and both want this fight over with so they can go back to watch Australia beat the rest of the world in cricket, but lose out on getting into the footy world cup by a south American team nobody has heard off. The Disc 5 starts to roll forward; the evil vertical disc is up to speed, after Frank spent a couple of days working on replacing the motor for the disc, after it gave up the ghost.
Both robots are coming towards each other; Automatic Schmuck turns, and manages to control where it wants to hit onto The Disc, as Frank is trying to protect his poor wheels from that nasty bar, even though they are protected behind a semi circler unit of titanium and spikes. Both robots are nearing each other, as Automatic Schmuck dodges The Disc€™s attack, as Frank tries to land a blow onto the sides of Automatic Schmuck, but the bar has made it€™s impact, and spins The Disc around with the torque from the bar, as another hit onto the side doom is created.
A large cut has appeared in The Disc€™s wheel hub, as Automatic Schmuck is sticking onto The Disc 5, like chewing-gum sticks to your foot, as another strike onto the wheel hub, and the hub has started to come away, the bolts holding it onto the main chassis are coming away with the energy being directed into them. The Disc 5 manages to strike the side of Automatic Schmuck, but due to the lowness of Automatic Schmuck, the skirt doesn€™t raise into the bar, which has come to a stop for a moment, as Tom turns Automatic Schmuck around on the spot, and goes straight into the disc, the bar up to speed, after just a couple seconds.
Frank tries to get away, but the speed and power from Automatic Schmuck has caught it out, and both weapons meet each other, as The Disc jumps, before coming to a rest, the disc itself has been damaged by that bar, as it hangs loose, the sideways force knocking the vertical disc from it€™s bearing, as the bar on Automatic Schmuck is up to speed as the gap is closing, as Frank is looking for a quick way out, unable to protect himself against Automatic Schmuck, as Tom strikes once more, and the first major damage is done as the side wheel pod comes rolling away, showing the world what they all wanted to see, The Disc€™s fancy 3 wheel system on one side, mounted in a free moving frame, as Tom can not bring himself around to destroying such a lovely piece of engineering work, as he comes away and strikes down hard onto the other side, and after a couple of impacts, that hub has come away.
30 seconds are left of the battle, as Frank starts to hold back from attacking like a mad dog to protect The Disc from further un-repairable damage for the third place playoff or even the final, as Automatic Schmuck starts to spin it€™s bar up for one final time, as Tom drives into the pit release tyre, ripping it clean away from the wall, before stopping the bar and pushing The Disc 5 towards the pit, without much fuss from Frank, because he will know what will happen if he tries to make a fuss. The smoke is rising from the pit, as Automatic Schmuck rounds up the bent hubs and puts them down the pit as well.
Cease
Automatic Schmuck wins over The Disc 5 via Pitting, a bit of sportsmanship at the end of the fight, as Frank will be fighting for 3rd, the bronze medal, and that year-long supply of coffee.

Im not too worried about Matamata, and my confidence only gets better looking at that 4mm fiberglass. Just ram into him head on with the weapona t full speed. 1-3 hits should do it.
Typhoon, however, will be no walk in the park. I plan to get the weapon to full RPM and then charge into Typhoon full speed. If my weapon brakes, try to pit it, which will be quite difficult. If it dosent, then back off, regain the RPM i lost, then quickly move back in and do more damage. If his weapon somehow breaks, then Ive pretty much won. Just keep taking peices out of him until hes immobile.
If my weapon dies and his dies, however, then I also have a good chance. Push him with my raer into the pit trigger, then shove him into the pit. Be on the lookout for any tricks Typhoon might try without its weapon though.
All in all, this should be a very exciting match.

OK...hmmm...can self right...therefore Im going to be a fool and go for hydraulics.....
Grab it down with the claw and hoist it into the air...then drop into the pit or whatever else I can get to. Doesnt seem like the most obvious tactic for an opponent like this, but using pnuematics gives it too much freedom...
If someone gives me a pic I may modify that.

Matamata is away, the wheels driving across the arena, as Chris is looking for a ramming great victory here, as Tony spins up the weapon on Xenophobia, as he starts to move forward. Matamata has opened the pit release, as Chris turns Matamata around and drives straight towards Xenophobia.
The initial impact is bad, as pieces of fibreglass are spread over the arena, and another impact, as Matamata is taken apart, the chassis breaking under the energy put upon it by Xenophobia€™s weapon, as Tony moves forward and rips out the inners of Matamata, as the last time we have seen this destruction, was when Automatic Schmuck got carried away with destroying cyclone force, as another impact from Xenophobia, as Matamata is everywhere but there. Tony puts on full power and slams into the remainder of the chassis, destroying the loving creation of Chris Mason, as there is nothing left, not even scrap.
Ref starts to count out Matamata, but it is at the largest pile, the pile of fibreglass:
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and there goes the red card.

Kinetic Energy vs. Overdrive
Both robots are ready in the arena, ready to go, ready to fight to the death for the glory of the featherweight cup, the last ever featherweight fight I will be writing, so which of the 12 kilo vapourbots will walk away with the cup, and which will go home empty handed?

Both robots are away from the coloured squares; Aaron has the front spinner on Kinetic Energy up to speed already and starts to drive towards Overdrive, which Andy has turned around and is driving towards Kinetic Energy, as Aaron dodges the front wedge to manage to get around the sides. Kinetic Energy pushes forward, forcing Andy€™s machine into a corner. The first impact is made, on the front wedge of Overdrive.
The wedge is damaged; there is a scar in the front wedge, as Aaron keeps on the power, as Overdrive is trying to get away. Andy manages to get out and slam into Kinetic Energy, from the side, pushing it into the sliding door, which has started to slide. The damage is done to the door, as it hangs loose, as Aaron out accelerates Overdrive and dodges the attack well, as the pit button has been pressed, and both robots come together, and both are sent away, as Kinetic Energy gets around the side of Overdrive and causes damage to the skirt, ripping the front part away from the body, as Kinetic Energy comes back onto the attack, hitting into Overdrive again and again, giving Andy no time to get his head together, as the first real damage is done to the side of Overdrive.
Andy turns around and rams into the front disc of Kinetic Energy, and tries to push backwards against Aaron€™s featherweight version of Mad Dog, but Overdrive can not get a good grip on the front, and is pushed away by the torque from the bar, as Aaron goes after Overdrive and rips into the other side of Overdrive, as Andy turns and slams underneath the side of Kinetic Energy, and pushes it towards the arena pit at full speed. Aaron tries to move, as the wheels are spinning, the blade has stopped moving, as it is forced against the arena floor, as a piece of Overdrive€™s armour comes away, but Kinetic Energy is down into the pit, the smoke starting to raise from the pit of broken dreams, as Overdrive spins around on the arena floor.
Cease
Overdrive pits Kinetic Energy to keep a hold on the featherweight title.

Both robots are away from the starting squares, as Chris and Dave want to lay their hands upon the lightweight cup, as Little Big Bot gets first in the act and starts to swing that axe back and forward like a mad axe man, with no brains, as it hits into the top of Hell Hound, as Dave tries to get his claws into play, but Chris isn€™t allowing for a breakaway, as the top armour of Hell Hound has been bent, but still Chris isn€™t holding back, as he drives away to re-load, the top armour of Hell Hound has been bent inwards, as Dave turns and drives towards Little Big Bot, as it opened the pit release.
Chris turns, and fires the axe again and again into the top of Hell Hound, as Dave finally gets underneath, and the hydraulic claws come into play, lifting the wheels of Little Big Bot off the ground, as the axe keeps on swinging back and forward, trying to knock the stuffing out of Hell Hound, but Dave has turned the battle around, as he is pushing Little Big Bot towards the pit, the wheels spinning, but there is no traction against the air, as hydraulic fluid starts to pour from Hell Hound, as Little Big Bot is dropped down the pit, as Hell Hound€™s weapon started to raise before the line was slip.
Cease
Little Big Bot pitted, Hell Hound takes it to hell, and collects the lightweight cup.
Middleweights
Typhoon vs. Knee Breaker

Activate
Tony starts to drive Knee Breaker towards Typhoon, as both weapons are up-to speed after a brief pause, as both robots come together. The impact is strong, as the front blade of Knee Breaker has come flying away from the front, with the impact, which has caused a large scar in the side of Typhoon. Both robots are now weapon-less, as Knee Breaker slams into the side of Typhoon, and starts to push the cone robot towards the arena spike, but you can see that there is some pretty major damage to the structure of Knee Breaker, as there is a large crack in the side, but the arena spike fires, sending Typhoon onto it€™s side. Martyn€™s robot never got going, not since that first impact, where the shaft took most of the damage and bent, as it lies on it€™s side.
Ref is coming over to count out Typhoon, the RW middleweight champion forever, as Knee Breaker starts to spin around on the spot, Tony is happy that he can walk away with two cups at least. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and there goes the red card.
Cease
Typhoon, flipped by the spike, Knee Breaker breaks itself, but wins the middleweight championship.

Sorry everybody for the delay, but I have been snowed under with Coursework this week and also I have been listening to too much electro-pop but without further delay hopefully, the final 3 fights of NSTT, to close the Fight Against Robots book once and for all. If god had a master plan, that only he understands.

Mini Disco vs. Le Nez

Both robots are away from the starting squares, and Mini Disco€™s weapon is up to speed as Martyn turns Mini Disco around to dodge the attacking from Le Nez, as Andy is looking for another cup to take home with him, as Le Nez is dodged around by the nippier Mini Disco, which slams into the side armour, causing a lovely tear in the titanium, and another impact from Mini Disco, as the side panel has been ripped away, showing the entire world the insides, as Le Nez turns, getting it€™s nose under Mini Disco€™s side, the flipper fires, sending Mini Disco over, as Le Nez comes back onto the attack.
Martyn dodges the frontal impact from Le Nez, as Andy tries to get his nose into place, to flip Mini Disco over the wall. You could have it so much better, but Mini Disco comes down onto the left hand side of Le Nez, and ripping away that side€™s armour, those bolts Andy uses to hold the titanium onto Le Nez are the weakest link, but Andy turns the screw once more and rams into Mini Disco, head first, as both robots hit.
Both robots bounce away from each other, a lovely scar has form in the flipper arm of Le Nez, but Andy comes back onto the attack, but Mini Disco is ready, and dodges the attack, striking a blow onto the exposed right wheel of Le Nez, it hasn€™t come off, but you can see that the wheel has been hit, as it wobbles when moving, slowing Le Nez down to a slower pace, allowing Mini Disco to come around the rear, away from the danger zone of Le Nez and attack the right hand wheel once more. This time, it is 2nd time lucky for Martyn, as the right hand side of Le Nez falls to the floor like a hammer to the ground, shaking, as the left hand side lifts up, as Mini Disco hits the old wheel once more, bending it like a banana.
Ref is coming out to count out Le Nez, as Andy is shaking his head, and fires the flipper, sending millions of air particles into the air, but the damage has been done. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and there goes the red card, as Mini Disco has walked away with the classical heavyweight cup.

In the blue square, from the eviler mind of Andrew James Jackson, everybody€™s favourite battle writer, here rolls champion of series 7, Giga-Byte. Andy is waving at the crowd from the control booth, having been forced to put down his keyboard from doing anymore fights.

Giga-Byte is away from the starting square, like a shot from a gun, being shot at a random rabbit, as The Disc 5 is getting its disc up to speed for the first time, as Andy turns Giga-Byte around the starting square separator and goes head first into The Disc 5 trying to hoop the claws around something, but the claws just slip on the smooth outer wheels, as Frank turns, bringing the disc down onto the top of Giga-Byte, making it jump up, and another impact, hits the main body, flipping Giga-Byte around, landing on it€™s claw, as a small cracking noise is heard, as Andy accelerates away from The Disc 5, to get his bearings.
Frank moves The Disc 5 forward and into the main area, as Giga-Byte opens the pit release, as Andy turns on the spot before driving in towards The Disc 5 on a suicidal run, trying to beat The Disc 5, but Frank is ready for the attack, and turns the main disc around for the best impact, as both robots come together, a rush of co2 to the head, as the claws try to claw around the wheel, but once more, fall short of clamping successfully, as Frank turns around on his 6 wheel drive monster, and gives that young Giga-Byte a good headache with an hit on the head, knocking it backwards, as Frank puts on his drive, driving into Giga-Byte once more, as the wheels try to find grip on the arena surface, and another impact from The Disc 5€™s disc, flipping Giga-Byte into the air, as Frank puts on the power once more, and keeps on knocking Giga-Byte around, nitrogen has started to leak, as something inside has bent from the impacts, even with all the rubber from the cars on the M25 inside Giga-Byte, as The Disc 5 hits once more, as the leak gets worse, as Giga-Byte lands once more on it€™s side, falling back to the ground, nitrogen is leaking from one of the cylinders, as there is no life from Giga-Byte, nothing, not a sausage, as The Disc 5 stops looking for a moment, as there is silence in the arena, as Andy is holding up his hands, and puts down the controller.
Ref is counting out Giga-Byte, as we speak, as The Disc 5 spins around, looking nice, as the red card is shown to Giga-Byte.
Cease
Giga-Byte, losing it€™s aerial for the remote control when being bounced about is out. The Disc 5 claims the 3rd place cup, and a bronze coffee cup.

Im picking Automatic Schmuck to carry on its awesome unbeaten run and win the final. Achilles can box rush and flip all it likes but I think the damage factor will weigh heavily on the result.
Sad to know this is gonna be the last FAR. Yet another ledgendary major tournament crashes away...

Im really not liking my chances....dam you Tom!
So Im going to go mad basically Ill use pnuematics and slam it as fast as I possibly can, repeatativly, flipping it, basically do as much to it as i can, flip it, slam it, grip it whatever, just be on the constant offensive so that hopefully he wont get an opening, just carry on as much as I can possibly do - completly blitz the thing with everythign I have to throw at it. I may well loose but I intend to make it a fight he wont forget in a hurry
PS. If I do flip it on its back Im not going to reflip it though.
