Dont add any lube to the gears - it sounds scarier and more intimidating when its noisy! Going for the black spiral on the disc at all?

sounds like it just needs running more has the bearings sound like they havent settled yet
the grinding noise is kind of wierd- makes it till it starts spinning up properly.. most of the whirring noise comes from the motors themselfs.. thats fine.
The first stage ratio is in a sealed gearbox and will be filled with high speed grease when its finished- the second stage im not going to grease- because i dont want arena dust/swarf, and general arena rubbish sticking to them and messing it up.
Kennys right- it does need running in, that video is the second time ive ever span it up, theres 5 gears and 8 bearings that need running in.
