Good to meet up with everyone (eventually; Ill bring a map next time), and thanks to Eddy for the discussions. I never did ask what you were saying, when you said youd been discussing me before I turned up... (Paranoid? Moi?)

Good to see you again Andrew. We were talking about your climbing antics at Debenham and wondering if you were going to turn up when you walked through the door. That was a good photo of Scorpion/Behemoth. Sorry Geoff, Jenny and myself coulnt stay as Jen and I had both been suffering lately with flu/stomach bug/everything else that can be thrown at us. Anyway the delights of PCM is a bit beyond me at the moment although I can wax lyrical about sampling rates and quantization.

:-) No problem, Karoline. If its the flu that I had at Debenham which everyones picked up - sorry! Ive now got the CDs of pictures sorted (as the East Anglian region people discovered), so Ill bring them next time and you can see whether my clambering was worthwhile. And Im used to people running away when I talk obscure technical stuff - Ive been coding up a first order temporal logic satisfiability checker for a friend, and its amazing how quickly people have something else to do...

By the way, one of the pictures shows someone lurking behind Geoff in the pits who looked cross to be photographed. I know my fellow photographers got grumbled at a bit, so if that was the source, my apologies to whoevers in the picture. (I probably should have told them not to fire a flash in anyones face while theyre using tools, but I hoped they had the sense...)

Hi guys and gals, have just had an e-mail from Jon Reason and he has asked me to post the details of next weekends social. :)

Venue- The Saltdean Tavern
Date - Saturday 1st May
Time - 6.00- 6.30 ish
A little earlier I know.

Please could we have a show of hands to who is coming. I know that it is short notice, but I hope to see some of you there.

Oh dear, thought we were aiming for somewhere closer to (my) home this time.

Id like to be there. Ill try to be there. Im moving house (to Bracknell) next Thursday, so its possible my other half will lynch me if I stop packing; if she decides I deserve a break, I *will* be there. I might not make 6:30, but Ill try to do better than 8pm (Ill bring a map this time). :-)

Assuming I can cope, whod like a CD of Debenham pictures? If you were there, youre on it (and if you werent there, you can see what happened!)

Jenny: Could I possibly bring you a tape on to which to append a copy of the Wilsons Day stuff, having no duplication facilities myself? How long is it (A2B)?
