babeths new camera can levitate cats!
It kills and mummifies ducks too. Take a look at whats on the floor :)
Thats rubberized chicken. And I have some other piccies with levitating cats. Must be something strange about that camera indeed...
Bean Sidhe is my most grateful victim, because he is so cute and likes to do silly things. Hes the white-orange fluff-ball on the left.
What do you do to them? :proud:
One of mine just sits about all day running scared at incoming strangers while the others mad as a hatter...
Theyre actually marionnette puppet cats. Mario is standing on the table operating them.
Rather like the Madness Baggy Trousers video, no one can see the wires ...
Our street is being digged out because they have to place new tubes for a groundwater cleaning system. The huge excavator has struck something that said first crackle, then spark, and now smoulder. Strangely enough our electricity is still running.
We suspect that the technical school at the end of our street has no longer any power. Unfortunately for the students its still summer vacation.
Take a look outside - if you see a pair of smouldering boots covered in ash on the floor of the excavator cab - thatll be the remains of the operator
Karoline the smoldering boots will be outside the cab door because the operator jumped from the cab when he/she saw sparks then when they realised they wernt shocked to death they grab the hand rail on the excavator and thats when they blow!!!
and trust me you DONT want to see this, before during or after!!!!
Funny... they use a robot to flatten the soil in the pit. Its quite sturdy, check http://users.pandora.be/P3/digger.JPGhttp://users.pandora.be/P3/digger.JPG for the picture. Its the smaller yellow machine. The crane lifts it into the pit (and out again) and an operator with a transmitter drives it.
Mario kindly offered them the use of his workshop in case anything breaks down. I guess were just curious... And as usual it did surprise the workmen to find that kind of machines inside a house.:proud:
Sorry for bringing back an old thread but i found an interesting documentairy on roboteers that i thought was worth watching:

Lol, I liked that :)

Cross your fingers for Critter (our 11,5 year-old German Shepherdess) who is very ill right now due to a bleeding stomach. The Vet is confident shell pull through but we will only be sure after a few days on how she responds to the treatment. Shes still with us at home, cuddling up with Zorro (the cat who thinks hes a dog) and we can only wait.
Give her a gentle cuddle from me
I know how you feel, Ive had strict orders this week that if my dog is poorly again I need to take her to the vets to be put to sleep :sad::sad::sad::sad::sad:
And to add to the misery: we had to be evacuated this afternoon due to workers in the street having breached the main gas-tube, causing a substantial leak. Big alarm of course. Fortunately the shelter was not too far away, in a school some 100 meters from our door, and Critter was able to walk all the way but it exhausted her. (If she wasnt capable of walking the police would have come and carried her.) We brought along a blanket to lie on and she appreciated that. So did the janitor of the school.:proud: It kept the floor clean.
Now were home again, its safe. She ate a bit and is sleeping. But shes still terribly weak.
A bargain!

tempting. :)
After 5 years of watching them fight it out on TV, and after building and fighting them for two years, Ive finally turned into a robot myself :lame:

Happy Halloween
lol
Kool!
Heh, hope you didnt run into Mr. Psycho
This is a car advertisement from Great Britain. When they finished filming the ad, the film editor noticed something moving along the side of the car, like a ghostly white mist. They found out that a person had been killed a year earlier in that exact same spot. The ad was never put on TV because of the unexplained ghostly phenomenon. Watch the front end of the car as it clears the trees in the middle of the screen and youll see the white mist crossing in front of the car then following it along the road....Spooky! Is it a ghost, or is it simply mist? You decide. If you listen to the ad, youll even hear the cameraman whispering in the background about it near the end of the commercial. A little creepy but pretty cool!
WARNING! This is really scary!!!

Our youngest cat Bean Sidhe (pronounce as banshee) has an appointment next Monday morning... he can say good-bye to his manhood.
   Just when he started dating this really lovely kitty-lady too.
Ah, the deed is done. And what a well-endowed male he was...:proud:
Now hes dozing off the sedation, snoring faintly in his travel-box under a soft warm towel, oblivious yet of what has happened.
I would like to have seen his face when he found out....... BTW whats the word cats use for

Karoline, its not the rifle thats gone, but the ammunition.
Oh well... hes doing fine today. Yesterday he was at first an angrily awakening little fur-ball, followed by a miserable blundering-around little fur-ball, then a pathetic sleepy little fur-ball... but this morning he was his old self again: hollering his furry head off next to our bed and giving Mario the full bi-tonal purr treatment straight into his ear. A true Farinell-shee that one.:proud:
with the faling over multimillion ££ robot, apart from thinking it bad that it fell, im more impressed with the fact it seemed to recognize that it was about to fall and curled up. obviously it may just have stopped once the step up failed, but looks good anyway.
nice of the engineers to put the screens up though, so we couldnt see the robot in pain :)
