Both robots are off the line, as Matt is looking to make his first semi-finalist, after being flipped out of the arena in part 1, as Take Me Out comes around. The more controlled Behemoth slams straight into the front wedge of Take Me out, and lifts it off the ground, lifting the front wheels off the ground by lifting up the scoop.
Matt pushes Take Me Out backwards, the wheels spinning on the arena surface to get grip, but the axe comes down, pinning Take me out on the front scoop of the 27th seed. The pit release has been opened, as Matt doesn€™t want to make the same mistake and flip Take Me Out over the wall, he wants to end the fight as soon as he can, as Behemoth hurries across the arena, lifting up the scoop.
Martyn can not do a potato as he is pushed backwards, the flipper fires, but all it does is rise the front end up a bit higher, as Take Me Out drops down 6 feet on it€™s rear end, and falls down on it€™s 4 wheels. Behemoth spins around; Matt is smiling, as he knows he has caused more chaos and creation in the back garden, which by the way is a great album.

Behemoths tactics:
Against Achilles, Ill have to avoid the front, and focus my attacks on the side, flipping it with the scoop and pushing it around, and make sure that it cant get away to try an attack, get it down the pit with the first chance possible.
Im basically a mroe finessful and nimble version of behemoth, so Im not too worried, Ill use pnuematics and get round the side and ram and flip. Im also lower to the ground which is good.

Well, its not my fault if people keep archiving it down. Its also not my fault that people dont use the same rules as each other anymore.
I use the double the weight limit for walkers rule, I dont know which rule Steve used for his FW walkers.
You can replace it with a realie (ie DTK).
As much as I like the little guy, Id rather stick with my own. Tournies these days can sometimes be rather cruel to real robots, no offence.
Ive done the holes and removed the side armour. If it still isnt enough, then Ill have to use DTK. I dont know what else I can do without doing a Diotoir and removing the armour and weapon (OK, they didnt remove it, but it wasnt working).

In the yellow square, from England, Ram-Raider. Shuffler with a horizontal saw blade, no side armour though.
All 3 robots are in the arena, ready for the off.

Ram-Raider shots away from the yellow square, like it€™s got a rocket up it€™s rear end. Conundrum starts off as well, with Tony driving this strange machine with the drum. Hell€™s Angel comes around as well, shooting out of the red square, as Ram-Raider turns and drives towards Hell€™s Angel at full speed, slamming into the front end at full power. Conundrum comes up behind Ram-Raider and gives the rear end a good hit from the vertical drum.
Ram-Raider is lifted up; as Hell€™s Angel fires the axe, putting a lovely hit though the armour on top of Ram-Raider. Conundrum comes in with a side hit onto Ram-Raider as it is pinned against Hell€™s Angel, as a part of the walking system is ripped out of the armour less sides. Hell€™s Angel pushes back against Ram-Raider, as Conundrum drives into Ram-Raider again, and flips it fully onto Hell€™s Angels; the right hand side drive is gone, as Ref starts to count Ram-Raider out.
Hell€™s Angel drops Chris€™ rammer and goes off to join Conundrum in the featherweight first round proper. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and there goes the red card, as Ram-Raider has been counted out.

Hell€™s Angel and Conundrum move onto the semi finals.

Storm Vortex vs. Kinetic Energy vs. OverDrive (1)

OverDrive is away from the starting squares without any wait whatsoever, as Andy turns to box-rush into Storm Vortex, Kinetic Energy starts to come up, with it€™s undercutting blade to destroy wheels, as OverDrive rams into Storm Vortex from the side, as Martyn tries to turn to get his evil blade into play, as Kinetic Energy slams into the side of Storm Vortex, and has a slice of the wheels, but nothing too deadly, as OverDrive is pushing both robots sideways, as Kinetic Energy breaks the left wheels and dives off to the rear of Storm Vortex as it hits into the arena wall hard.
Storm Vortex jumps away as Kinetic Energy comes back at it, as OverDrive goes off to open the pit. Storm Vortex turns, as both robots meet head-on, as Kinetic Energy is sent over onto it€™s back, as OverDrive slams into Storm Vortex once more, and pushes it towards the pit, before that disc can do more damage to the other robots here today. Kinetic Energy€™s front is slightly bent, but that can be hammered out, as OverDrive dumps Storm Vortex down the pit of lost hopes and dreams and out of the featherweights before it had even started.

Kinetic Energy and the current champion, OverDrive move into the semi finals.

All chaos breaks loose as Typhoon Thunder starts to spin up to speed as MiniForce sets off to aim towards the Typhoon robot. Toe Crusher starts to roll, with it€™s overhead hammer ready to come down, as Hell Hound drives away. Little Big Bot is fighting for it€™s right to party, as Chris fires the hammer, as MiniForce crashes into Typhoon Thunder sending the little lightweight away in a spin to hit the side wheels of Toe Crusher.
Meanwhile Hell Hound is being hit by Little Big Bot€™s axe, as the claws crush though the armour like paper, as MiniForce rams into Toe Crusher, pushing it into Typhoon Thunder, as it is now up to speed, as the right hand wheel have been semi-ripped off, as Tony is trying to turn, but another hit from Typhoon Thunder, removes the wheels completely.
MiniForce has opened the pit release, as Little Big Bot and Hell Hound are having a mini-fight between the two, as Typhoon Thunder spins up and hits into the side of Hell Hound, ripping off the side plate, as MiniForce rams into Toe Crusher, pushing it over the arena and down the pit. Typhoon Thunder slams into the side of Little Big Bot causing some pretty lovely damage, as Cease is called.

Toe Crusher pitted by MiniForce. MiniForce, Typhoon Thunder, Little Big Bot & Hell Hound go forward to the Lightweight semi finals.
Middleweight Qualifier
Hell Fire (1) vs. Typhoon vs. Knee Breaker vs. Tom vs. The Steel Sandwich

Activate
Typhoon at once spins up to speed, as Hell Fire, the current champion of the FAR middleweight cup, handed to him when Steven failed to renter to defend the cup. Tom is moving away from the square, with that flipper at the front if anything gets on that it is going for a flying lesson, as Knee Breaker gets it€™s blade up to speed. Hell Fire turns and chases towards The Steel Sandwich with it€™s lifter. Typhoon is away as Tom fails to get underneath Knee Breaker and gets a side-full of pain in reply, as Typhoon slams into Hell Fire, which is currently trying to take out The Steal Sandwich.
The outside wheel of Hell Fire is away, but it still has another wheel on that side, as Knee Breaker slams into the side of Hell Fire. Tom sees his chance and gets underneath the side of Hell Fire and flips it onto Typhoon. Hell Fire is sent away from Typhoon, as it lands, something goes bang inside of Hell Fire, as Knee Breaker slams into the side once more. Tom gets underneath The Steal Sandwich and flips it over onto it€™s top. Hell Fire is moving slowly, but it has taken damage from that flip onto Typhoon, as Martyn gives the side of Hell Fire another lovely hit, breaking the other wheel in the process.
The Steel Sandwich slams underneath Typhoon, which isn€™t up to speed, as Andy lifts the lifter turning Typhoon onto it€™s side. Tom slams into the rear end of Knee Breaker and flips it over, the bar hitting the solid steel floor and jumps away. Ref is moving in to count out Hell Fire, as Tom fires Typhoon back onto it€™s wheels, as The Steel Sandwich slams into Knee Breaker. Hell Fire never recovered from the constant hits from Typhoon and Knee Breaker and has broken down.
Cease
On further inspection, it was discovered that Hell Fire€™s chassis was smashed open on the side, ripping the batteries clean away from their holding place. Typhoon, Tom, The Steel Sandwich & Knee Breaker goes forward to the semi finals.

A wheel gone in one hit from a spinner, TWICE in a row? WTF? I think I deserve to know the meaning of that, as Toe Crushers wheels are from what I can remember, pretty durable.
Anyways...
Xenophobia: THis should be good, considering Hell Boys weak armor. Go for the sides and tear it to shreds.
Conundrum: Crap, the champion...Oh well, aim for any vunrable areas and such and try NOT to be pitted.
Knee Breaker: Being unable to find stats of TSS, hard to say. Considering how well my weapon worked agisnt Hell Fire, Ill basically just go all out, and if he opens the pit, start spinning around so hes forced to take a hit from me, then retreat and spin again, and repeat until cease is called.
Atomic: Get to the sides and flip it OOTA?

I dont recall Hell Fire coming second in any MW comp, maybe my memory is just crap.
Xenophobia, dunno much about, Ill just have to try and do as much damage as I can with the disc.
Hell Hound vs. Typhoon Thunder:
Im keeping the singular claw, as the double claw will go either side of the sloped cone. The cutters on Typhoon look a lot less damaging than the ones on it big brother, so I shouldnt take too much damage, plus Im a fair bit quicker, so I can get under it before it spins up (I also noticed its spin up time is slow) and put the claw through, and put it into a CPZ or the pit.

...Crap.
Thankfully, the way my scoop is, it should tkae the wheels off the floor before the dsic comes anywhere near my front end, and ill have to pin it down with the axe and drag it to anywhere to cause damage, or put it down the pit. Outpushing it is the best way to do it, and the robots shape is fairly well delt with by the front shape. but Ill avoid going side on, even though if it did go flat on to my sides the disc wouldnt reach (if my understanding is right).

Tough, but Tanto€™s power advantage could be the winning factor.

Depends if Tsunami can get a flip or two in really€¦ I€™ll go for the Schmuck.
Clawdius Decimus Murderous (1) vs. Son of Ripper 4 (2)
Oh great. Well a few things have changed which run in my favour from last year, so let€™s hope they work. First of all the sides are sloped and are lower meaning CDM will find it difficult to get a good grip on. The wheels are now a lot more durable and thuther away from the edges meaning getting a good crush on them will prove very hard. On top of that the flipper is now rear hinged again and the disc has improved greatly€¦ so now I can get under the skirts and flip it around and cause a few marks on the shell of CDM.
All I can really do is charge in and slip my spatula under the skirts and then toss it over, then once inverted just keep pushing forwards so that it can€™t self right and either slam it against the walls, pit it, put it into the house robots and of course drive it into a wall and try and flip it OOTA. If this fails then the next plan is too do a suicidal drive up the CDM wedge driving in backwards and try to break the crusher using my disc. I want revenge! :proud:

16 robots remain, 8 places are up for grabs in round 5, 8 will move on, the other 8 will fail and end up out.

Richard and Matt are waving at the crowd, as they prepare to fight in the new arena, which has been given a lick of paint ready for action.

And so the starter€™s gun has fired for the first time in the semis, as both robots are away from the line, Tanto 3 wearing that double wedge thing that is on it€™s picture, powered by a couple of lovely Eteks compared to Storm 2, which was one of the first real robots to use Lem 130€™s to drive it€™s 6 wheel drive power box. Both robots have accelerated to their top speed, both having custom speed controllers to handle the power. Tanto 3 takes the long way round and opens the pit release before spinning on the spot to meet Storm 2 storming towards it at full speed.
Richard brakes the left hand side slightly, as Storm 2 is wearing the skirts to stop Tanto from getting underneath it€™s sides. Matt turns, and for the first time, both robots meet head on. Tanto 3 has the lower front and gets underneath Storm 2 and starts to push Storm 2 backwards. The wheels on Storm 2 are spinning trying to get grip on the surface, but Tanto is pushing Storm too fast for Storm€™s own speed to have an affect on the drive, as Matt is looking towards the pit in revenge for Storm 2 beating PRP in the heat final.
The pit is coming closer, as Storm 2 looks to be getting a piece of it€™s own medicine and it drops down 6 feet, down into a hole, with a mole, who is having a cup of tea and cheese. The smoke has risen from the pit, as Tanto 3 spins around; Matt is smiling, as he is the first to round 5.

Activate
Frank has reversed The Disc 5 backwards into the wall to get the disc up to speed, as Hell Machine comes speeding around the fence to get it€™s axe into play. Frank drives forward to get his disc into play, as both robots meet. The axe fires on Hell Machine as it tries to get a hold on the body of The Disc, but thanks to that handy rotating spinning thingie around the inner axle, the axe bounces away.
The disc of the disc is to the side of the axe as it comes in, as Hell Machine tries to do something as the wedge is underneath The Disc, and it holding The Disc back with it€™s drive. The axe fires once more, and once more it bounces away from the spinning body of The Disc, as Frank is trying to something, as the disc has made a lovely cut into the armour of Hell Machine, but nothing has been thrown away, as Hell Machine reverses at full speed just as the 30 second pin rule kicks in. The Disc 5 starts to move forward and away from the squares, as both robots move into the middle of the arena for a dance.
Hell Machine has opened the pit and is back in the circle, as Frank is trying to get his disc into play to damage Hell Machine€™s side to get to the golden nugget the drive chain. All around the world, you know it€™s going to be okay. Hell Machine comes storming into The Disc, as once more contact is made, but Frank turns, as Hell Machine hits the disc, but isn€™t thrown away to the wolfs, as the front wedge is underneath The Disc 5, lifting a part of the wheels off the ground to give The Disc 2 wheels on the ground, as the axe fires trying to get a hook on that body. Meanwhile the damage to the front scoop is high, as another lovely cut has appeared in it, as The Disc 5 pushes back and manages to get a good hit on a part of the scoop he hasn€™t hit let, and another piece is ripped away, that scoop can rip pure body that it is so sharp. The axe fires, but it€™s a badly made move, as it goes straight into the disc itself.
Hell Machine is lost it€™s axe head, as it lands 25 feet away, bent in half, as Dave puts on full drive, ramming into The Disc as he forces Frank€™s machine to roll over onto it€™s next set of wheels, but the disc is still tearing into the front scoop, something flies off the top, as what looks like to be a bearing lands, as the axe arm is currently bent like a banana, and only held on by it€™s teeth, Hell Machine has taken another blow from The Disc 5€™s disc, as once more both robots meet head on, the axe arm has come away, as well as a part of the scoop, as The Disc 5 is taking control of this fight.
Dave is thinking, as he goes away for a while, the front end wrecked, as The Disc 5 gives chase, and gives the side a good hit, flipping Hell Machine though a 360 degree flip, a large slice has been taken out of the side, as Dave turns Hell Machine around and drives straight into The Disc. Once more the disc takes out a large piece of the front scoop, but thanks to that scoop, The Disc hasn€™t gone up and over Hell Machine, but has stay on the front scoop, unable to get away, as Hell Machine is driving The Disc 5 backwards, the wheels just spinning as Frank is trying to put down all the power.
The battle has turned on it€™s head, as 4 minutes 20 has past, as Hell Machine is still keeping The Disc pinned to his scoop, which now doesn€™t look like a scoop anymore, as the top armour panel has started to come away. The time is up for Hell Machine to pin The Disc 5, as Dave turns and drives towards the nearest wall at full speed.
The Disc 5 goes over the top, as a part of the top panel is torn away from Hell Machine, as The Disc 5 goes back down the rear and away to get it€™s disc up to speed, something is wrong with the disc, as it isn€™t getting up to speed, as Frank knows that. Hell Machine turns and after the 10 second freedom rule comes back onto the €œmad-duck€ attack. The front scoop is bent and taken apart. 15 seconds are left in the battle, as another piece from Hell Machine is taken away, but the disc has stopped, the motor is spinning but Frank stops the motor before it burns out.
10, the audience cry, as Hell Machine pushes back against The Disc 5, now without the disc, as the rear lifter fires to say it is working, 9, 8, 7, the pit is only 15 feet away, as The Disc€™s lack of any decent pushing power and torque is noticed as it is being pushed back without much trouble, 4, 3, 2, 3 feet away, 1, as Hell Machine is on top of The disc 5.
Cease
Just after the cease, The Disc 5 drops out of sight down the pit. Followed by Hell Machine. Dave is jumping around the control booth, as he thinks he has won, and created a giant killing, but he is broken the news that he was less than 2 seconds late, he says €œF***€Â.
The judges are called in to decide the winner:
Aggression
The Disc 5 was aggressive throughout the first 4 minutes until a fault developed in the drive system for the disc, but Hell Machine was the main attacker in the fight and gets 9 points in return of The Disc€™s 6.
Control
Hell Machine was mad, The Disc 5 kept in control, the judges have watched a repeat of the match, and the only lost of control is when Hell Machine allowed The Disc to get around it€™s side, and gives The Disc 8 lovely points. Hell Machine gets 7.
Damage Caused
Damaged caused by Hell Machine, well looking at The Disc after the fight, there were some scratches on the outer spinning thing which were not there before, and the judges are not sure if Hell Machine caused the damage to the disc itself, and so have taken that part out of the equation. Damage caused by the disc to Hell Machine, well, that gets pretty 14 points, whereas Hell Machine gets the 1 point.
Strategy
Hell Machine was to attack, push, pit, it tried to do that and managed it, but out of the time. The Disc€™s strategy was to attack Hell Machine with the disc. Both strategies were deemed to be more success than failure, but Hell Machine gets the 8 points in this area. The Disc 5 gets 7 points to play with.
Style
The Disc 5€™s attacks according to the audience were boring, just hitting the top with the disc, Hell Machine€™s mad-for-it attacks were more stylist in the eyes of the judges, as it took damage, but was meant to take damage from it€™s attacks. Hell Machine gets 11 points. The Disc 5 takes just 4.

In a 39-36 decision, The Disc 5 moves onwards, Hell Machine (17) takes a beating in damage and is out.

Activate
Automatic Schmuck€™s weapon is up to speed, as Tom starts to move out of the square, as Tsunami 2 is trying to get a quick shot in, but fails, as both robots meet. The first damage is done to Tsunami 2 as it fails to get underneath the skirts of Automatic Schmuck and gets a good beating from that bar; ripping though the 3mm titanium front wedge like it was paper.
Matt tries to attack once more, but once more, the 4th seed fails to get underneath Automatic Schmuck, and is given yet another beating, as a piece of the armour comes flying away from Tsunami, as Matt runs away, being ever so faster than Automatic Schmuck, which is giving chase. Tsunami is wasting time, as Matt doesn€™t know what to do, here today, as Automatic Schmuck is keeping up with him all the way to give little breathing space, as Tom cuts across and gives the side a good beating, after getting underneath it with the front wedge.
Tsunami 2 is hit once more, as the flipper and current holder of the most OOTA€™s medal is taken apart, as it lands, the right hand side is destroyed, that bar has done it€™s work, as Matt tries to drive, but Tsunami 2 is going around in a circle. Automatic Schmuck slams into the side once more, as co2 starts to rush out of the tank, due to the pipe work being destroyed. Ref starts to count out Tsunami 2, as Automatic Schmuck starts to slow it€™s spinner down to save on future damage to it.

Fight 1
Clawdius Decimus Murderous (1) vs. Son of Ripper 4 (2)
In an ideal world, the repeat of the far 8 final should have been in the final, but due to the random heats and the series 4 semi final set-up, will history repeat itself or will Andy get revenge over Clawdius?
In the red square, from Glasgow, Scotland, Current champion and 1st seed, Clawdius Decimus Murderous.
In the blue square, from England, the 2nd seed, Son of Ripper 4.
Both Andy and Steve has shaken hands before entering the control booths, as both have extreme respect for each other. The lights are on, as everybody is ready:

Activate
Both robots start to edge out of the squares, as Andy puts his finger onto the forward button and Son of Ripper jumps forward with a little jerk from the power surge. Clawdius Decimus Murderous gives chase, as Andy spins Son of Ripper around in the arena, as both robots are looking each other head-on, as Son of Ripper drives straight at Clawdius Decimus Murderous. Steve keeps Clawdius Decimus Murderous on the front of Son of Ripper as both robots are coming closer together.
Son of Ripper 4 has turned right, but suddenly changes to turn left, as Clawdius Decimus Murderous spins slightly which is enough to allow Son of Ripper 4 a running shot at the side skirts. Front wedge meets skirt, as Son of Ripper breaks the skirts of Clawdius Decimus Murderous for the first time in the contest since Tsunami 2 did in the Stars-All contest last season, as Clawdius Decimus Murderous is being pushed sideways and with a little flip the champion is in trouble, as it lands on it€™s side.
Steve fires the Srimech, as Clawdius Decimus Murderous self-rights, but gets hit by that lovely arena hammer, as Clawdius Decimus Murderous puts on the power and drives away, back towards Son of Ripper 4, which Andy has taken to the middle of the arena, to get another shot onto the sides of Clawdius Decimus Murderous. Steve knowing now, the tactics used by Son of Ripper 4 puts on full power, as once more both robots are heading towards each other at full speed.
Andy dodges twice, but Steve has counted for this and ploughs straight in and underneath the front wedge of Son of Ripper 4, still proving that Clawdius Decimus Murderous still has one of the best wedges around with a collection of titanium strips and low angled claws. The crusher comes down onto the front flipper and makes a lovely bend in whatever material the flipper is lovingly made out of. Note that the rear wheel of Son of Ripper 4 are still on the ground, as they are preventing Clawdius Decimus Murderous from making a full walk-over, as Steve is pushing Son of Ripper backwards, as Andy not wanting to fuck up the flipper, refuses to fire it, as Clawdius Decimus Murderous has opened the pit release button. Only 15 seconds are left in the pinning time allowed by the rule-book, as Andy puts though the torque into the rear wheels, as Clawdius Decimus Murderous€™s march for the pit is slowed down.
Steve is trying to get Son of Ripper 4 nearer the pit, as the crusher crushes down some more into the heart of Son of Ripper, but nothing is really done to Andy€™s beast, as the 30 seconds is up, as the buzzer buzzes to tell Clawdius Decimus Murderous to yet go. Steve was only a few feet away from the pit, as Son of Ripper 4 goes away to line up another attack, Andy quickly tests the flipper, as it fires, a part of the crushed armour goes flying off and hits the side wall. Son of Ripper 4 comes closer to Clawdius Decimus Murderous, as both robots put down full power.
Son of Ripper 4 hasn€™t dodged, and Clawdius Decimus Murderous has, as Andy gets underneath the skirts of Clawdius Decimus Murderous and pushes it towards the pit. A quick flip from the flipper sends the champion down 6 feet, into the dark and unwelcoming pit.
The red light comes on to signal the end of the far 8 final, part 2, will there be a part 3, well nobody knows.

The smoke is rising from the pit, as Andy is jumping around like a crazy rabbit who has had too much coffee. Steve is laughing as his 10 match unbeaten run has come to an end in the main heavyweight contest.

Both robots are away from the squares, in what looks like to be a fast paced battle, as Drilla Killa 7 gets out first and turns to drive at Panic Attack, which beat another of Richard€™s machines in the heat final, and Richard wants revenge and puts on full power.
Both robots crash head-on, as the front wedge of Drilla Killa 7, which got underneath Wedge Devolution manages to get underneath the front forks of Panic Attack, as Richard scoops Panic Attack up onto his wedge and moves towards the arena hammer. The hammer fires, once, twice, three times, hitting the self-righter hard with every shot. That is the weakness of Panic Attack, that it€™s Srimech is weak, as Drilla Killa 7 is driving towards the arena spike.
Tony who is driving Panic Attack, can not do a single thing, as the spikes fires, sending Panic Attack onto it€™s rear. Tony presses the Srimech button, but nothing, as Ref comes over to count out Panic Attack.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and there goes the red card, as Drilla Killa 7 is waiting around for the fight to end, Richard not wanting to waste power and so is not attacking Panic Attack.

The Christmas tree has gone green, as Achilles hops forward, using it€™s 4 wheel drive to get away from the blue square and into the middle of the arena. Behemoth has started to roll, it€™s 6 wheels turning as Matt is looking for a quick scoop and out for this fight or maybe a scoop down into that pit. Achilles is looking for the flip over the fence, as Alex doesn€™t want to risk his luck against the torque monster of Behemoth.
Both robots are circling each other, Achilles almost when over the arena spikes, as they fire, brushing air as Achilles suddenly breaks the circle of life, as Matt turns Behemoth to counteract Achilles€™ attack, as Alex slams on the right hand side with reverse, which flicks Achilles around the side of Behemoth, as Achilles turns, getting underneath the side clearance of Behemoth. Alex is pushing Behemoth sideways, as Matt is trying to do everything to get Behemoth away from danger as the flipper fires on Achilles, as Behemoth sails rolling over, crashing down into the arena camera, smashing the camera up.
Achilles spins around as the Christmas tree lights have turned red again.

In all honesty, I cant beat Xenophobia. Even with the vertical flywheel thats going to be on the real one (I put a saw on the stats, but its going to be a flywheel instead). Thankfully, I think that Im low enough to get under that bar so I may be able to take the wheels off the floor and ram it about.

Tails vs. Ringwraith

Richard and Steve meet at the foot of the stairs, shake hands before moving up into their little control booths, as both robots are ready for action. Tails€™ paint job looks a right old mess, as Steve has spent the last few days repairing Tails after it€™s battering by ForcePower. Ringwraith is ready, as the lights come on€¦

At once Tails has departed it€™s starting square, it€™s fur been replaced and in a worse state than Diotoir after a fight with Sgt. Bash, as Ringwraith starts to spin it€™s lethal spinning drum up to speed, to love and destroy Tails. Steve has no last thoughts as he goes storming in, in reverse straight into Ringwraith.
Both robots jump at the impact, as a large panel comes off the rear end of Tails, as Steve revving up the disc goes for another attack, is Steve mad is the question being asked by the judges, as Ringwraith turns at the last moment. Steve flicks the switch on Tails, as both robots once more find themselves together, as they kiss, before being thrown away, as Tails turns, it€™s side panel with a large tear in the side, but what has happened to Ringwraith, as it starts to move forward it is limping.
The left hand wheel has been given a mighty blow with that spinning bar, as it has started to come away. Tails turns around and goes for a third attack onto Ringwraith, as Richard is trying to turn away from the attack, but Steve dodges once more and for the third time in the fight Tails is tossed away from Ringwraith, as it lands on it€™s front. Ringwraith comes in and gives tails another good roll over, as co2 starts to leak from it€™s flipper, another hit, as Tails turns into a roller and lands on it€™s wheels, the left hand wheel of Ringwraith has started to come away, as Tails comes around for another attack.
The camera goes onto a close up onto Tails, and picks out the worse damage, as Steve rams straight into Ringwraith€™s wheel. Both robots come away, as Ringwraith goes down onto one wheel, as Tails lands on it€™s side. Steve is preying, as Tails falls back down onto it€™s wheels, but moves a few inches forward before a large bang is heard as smoke starts to pour from the insides, as Ref runs over with the co2 and puts out the flames of one of the drive motor exploding, and counts out Ringwraith.

In the pits, the damage to Tails is pretty bad, as Steve starts to work on repairing the drive and the weapons, the roll-over chassis, and ripped body panels have to stay like that.

It€™s another Andy and Frank fight, as the two legends walk up the stairway, shaking hands as they disappear into their little control booths, a cup of coffee is waiting for Frank as he downs it in one. The lights are on, as both roboteers are ready for another fun packed action fight.

Both robots shot out of the starting square like a bullet from a gun, as Frank turns NSBFR-X around to meet Giga-Byte, as both robots meet head-on, as the front wedge of NSBFR-X gets underneath Giga-Byte, as Frank starts to push Andy€™s clawed machine towards the pit release. Giga-Byte manages to get it self off the rear and spins to get around the sides.
Frank has depressed the pit release button, as both robots once more clash horns, as the claws fire on Giga-Byte, clamping on the front of NSBFR-X, as both robots enter into a pushing match. The wheels of Giga-Byte are trying to get traction, but the larger wheels of NSBFR-X is simply pushing back the series 7 champion, but Giga-Byte has regained traction and is pushing back, as the torque match beings. The arena hammer comes down onto the top of Giga-Byte, bouncing off the Hardox top, as NSBFR-X holds Giga-Byte down in the hammer drop zone.
Andy releases his grip on NSBFR-X, as Frank was about to start to lift Giga-Byte off the ground, as both robots are away. Giga-Byte comes smashing back onto the attack, onto the rear end of NSBFR-X, as Frank selects reverse and the pushing match continues. Giga-Byte is taking control, and is pulling NSBFR-X backwards, Frank suddenly spots this and puts NSBFR-X into forward and spins the wheels trying to stop the pull. The torque is unleash as both robots stop, the wheels spinning on Giga-Byte, as NSBFR-X starts to pull forward, and Andy releases his grip, and NSBFR-X shoots forward.
Giga-Byte spins around, bored at NSBFR-X€™s un-wiliness to attack, as both robots now enter into a deadly circle, dancing the night away. Frank breaks free and slams into the side of Giga-Byte and lifts the side up, as Andy fires his weapon to loosen the grip, but NSBFR-X starts to push Giga-Byte towards the pit, the sound of Hardox being pushed against Steel is deafen, as sparks fly, as NSBFR-X starts to spin it€™s wheels around at random, as the traction has been lost. Giga-Byte is released, as NSBFR-X regains traction. Andy spins Giga-Byte around and manages to get a rear-end hit onto NSBFR-X.
Frank is pushing back, using all his torque, as Giga-Byte is using the momentum, as both robots are slowing down, as the pit is drawing nearer and nearer. Both robots stop moving, as it€™s a battle of the torque, as Andy lowers his revs of his motors, and pushes back against NSBFR-X€™s higher voltage motors, as more current is being put though NSBFR-X€™s motors, as both robots are into a check-mate area, as neither can out-push neither, as some smoke starts to rise from Giga-Byte€™s drive, as NSBFR-X pushes backwards on Giga-Byte, and Andy shuts down the power, as Giga-Byte is slammed into the wall at full speed. Giga-Byte gets a good side-on hit and starts to push NSBFR-X sideways, as the time is running out. Frank is making life hard for Andy, by switching the power around, as suddenly everything goes quiet in the arena, as Giga-Byte stops, NSBFR-X manages to get itself free, as Giga-Byte springs back into life, but dies again. This happens another couple of times, as NSBFR-X slams into the rear end of Giga-Byte and starts to push Andy€™s machine towards the pit for the 5th time.
Andy quickly puts back on the power and locks up the right hand side wheel, as NSBFR-X pushes Giga-Byte away, as both robots are playing dangerously close to the 6 feet gap, as NSBFR-X makes a launch at Giga-Byte. Andy dodges the attack, spinning around, slamming NSBFR-X on the side with the claw, and manages to get enough momentum to put NSBFR-X onto it€™s side wheels, hanging onto life by a thread, as Giga-Byte rams straight into NSBFR-X and both robots are down the pit.
Smoke has started to rise from the pit, at the end of the motor munching battle, as Andy starts to jump around as it is been confirmed, as Giga-Byte€™s win.

Look at the speed of Hell Boy as it goes away from the red square, as Tony has started to spin the weapon up on Xenophobia. Dave turns and box-rushes into Xenophobia. Tony turns the front wedge of Xenophobia around, as Hell Boy drives up and goes straight into the blade on the top. Hell Boy is spun around, the front wedge virtually destroyed by that impact. Another hit by Xenophobia onto the sides of Hell Boy leaves the side armour looking less of armour but in a terrible state, as one more hit, rips the entire side panel clean off.
Another shot from Xenophobia, rips a wheel clean off Hell Boy, as Dave holds up his card, and Tony backs off Hell Boy, as it starts to smoke with the damage caused.

Achilles is a v. tough bot, but Drilla Killa 7 will do its best. Just keep to the sides and rear as usual, try to drill the underbelly and wheels, and push into arena obstacles.

GigaByte (15) VS TAILS
The blade isnt going to do much to that armour, so the main plan is to try and flip it all over the shop (ala Bulldog Breed VS Tough As Nails) and attempt a pitting perchance. If Im lucky, I can maybe prop it against the wall or something.
Oh, and if desperate, give it a few good whacks o the blade to impress the judges and make pretty sparks.

Welcome to the 4th update in the NSTT semi finals, today I will mainly be using a 7 year old laptop, which has been updated to cope with the strain of todays needs, and all for under 200 quid.

Activate
Matamata is away, Chris looking for a quick fight here with the high speed bullet, as he turns the corner to meet Catus, Baby Catus coming around to attack Matamata as well, Matamata turns around and dodges the front wedge of Catus before pushing into the side of the invertible wedge machine, pushing Catus sideways into the arena wall with some force that the front spike on Matamata pierces though the armour on Catus, piercing the heart and soul out of Catus.
Chris turns and pushing Catus sideways, the little power from Matamata is doing its job, as Chris holds Catus underneath the arena hammer, which comes down, to put a dent in the top of Catus. Chris cannot get Catus off his front spike, as he depresses the pit release button. The pit starts to open, as Ref comes in to break the pin, and lifting Catus, Baby Catus up, clear from Matamata. Martyn gives a deep breath as Catus is placed down onto the ground, as it moves away, towards the arena spike.
Matamata gives chase onto Martyns 6kg machine, as both robots meet up, Chris pushes Catus onto the spike, which fires using quarter power, sending Catus high into the sky. 20 seconds later, Catus comes back down to earth, bringing a lot of dust and crap from the roof, but it still is moving, a bit slowly, as the front wedge is bent upright, taking the damage from the blow, as Matamata turns and rams straight into the front end of Catus.
Once more, Catus is being pushed; Chris turns Matamata around and aims the drive towards the open pit. Catus Baby Catus is dumped 6 feet under, as smoke starts to rise to signal the end of the fight.

Activate
Kinetic Energy is holding back until Aaron has his evil front spinner up to speed. It has been raised up from the ground to attack the weak sides of Hells Angel, and Daves axe weapon. Hells Angel on the other hand has moved forward to try to take out the wheels on Kinetic Energy as both robots move forward now. Dave turns and gets away from the front weapon of Kinetic Energy, as Aaron gives chase onto the featherweight.
Hells Angel turns around to face the front end of Kinetic Energy and both move in together. At the last moment, Aaron dodges, as he dances around the side of Hells Angel to give it a good hit with the spinner, which rips the steel plate off, as the bolts are shredded with the impact. A quick spin from Kinetic Energy sees Aarons machine meeting the front end of Hells Angel, as the axe fires, putting a cut into the top armour, but the front wedge has taken another hit for the team and is damaged, as it limps off the main body, another hit from Kinetic Energy clears the front wedge for saying goodbye to the rest of hells angel, as the axe fires once more, putting another dent in the top of Kinetic Energy, but Aaron attacks once more, ripping another part of the chassis clean out of Hells Angel, as the next shot removes the batteries.
Hells Angel is dead; the axe arm falls down, as Ref starts to count out Hells Angel. Aaron has stopped the spinner on Kinetic Energy as he waits.

Overdrive vs. Conundrum

Overdrive is away from the starting square like it was on fire, Andy is looking for revenge against Tony because of Tony borrowing Andys coffee cup. Overdrive has turned the corner and comes towards Conundrum, as Tony tries to keep his front drum pointing at Overdrive, as both robots come together, as Andy dodges the front drum and dances around the side of Conundrum and rams it sideways towards the hazards.
Tony puts on the breaks to turn Conundrum around, but it is slammed into the arena wall at full speed. Conundrum bounces away from the wall, the armour bent inwards with the force, but when Conundrum lands, Tony drives the machine of Chris L away from danger as Overdrive gives chase, looking for the pit, as the power is put down from Overdrive towards the pit release button. Im your villain, as the pit opens, and Conundrum comes towards overdrive the drum at full speed, as Andy turns Overdrive around to face Conundrum coming towards it at full speed.
Andy has no other choice but to plough forward, as his wedge gets underneath the drum of Conundrum, but the tips of the drum tear into the front wedge, but not sending neither robot away, as the power is applied and Overdrive is in control over conundrum as once more the drum machine is slammed into the arena wall by the 10 cm tall machine of Overdrive. Conundrum takes to the air, and comes down on the right side of the fence, but Overdrive slams into Conundrum once more and pushes it down the pit.
The smoke is rising from the pit, as the current champion spins around, looking happy.

Activate
The Green light comes on, as both robots are on the move. Typhoon Thunder moves away to get it€™s shell up to speed. Hell Hound is running to attack into Typhoon Thunder before it has enough power to damage it, as both robots meet, Hell Hound gets underneath the spinning shell and stalls it before it can do much damage, but there is some scaring on the front wedge.
The claw has come into play, crushing though the shell, and tearing the hopes out, as Dave reverses, pulling Typhoon Thunder with it. Dave wants revenge for the middleweight melee, where Hell Fire got beaten up by Typhoon, as Martyn is trying to get away, as Dave is wanting to be quick, pulls Typhoon backwards, twisting around and pushing the lightweight version of Typhoon onto the arena spike.
The spike fires, sending Typhoon Thunder into the air, before coming down to earth, on it€™s side. The insides are spinning around, but there is no movement, as Ref starts to come over towards Typhoon Thunder, as Hell Hound goes off to open the pit. Ref has started to count out Typhoon Thunder, as Dave returns, getting the wedge underneath the bottom end of Typhoon Thunder he starts to push the counted out robot towards the pit.
Cease
Typhoon Thunder tumbles down the pit, and in a cloud of blue smoke, it is out.

Andy and Chris meet at the bottom of the staircase for the traditional photo, smile for the camera. Both shake hands and go into the red and blue control rooms respectfully to join the rest of their teams. The lights are on, as it is time to find out who joins Hell Hound in the Lightweight finale.

Activate
Both robots are away from the starting square, and both are up to speed, as Chris pulls away from Andy€™s rammer before turning to get ready for the ramming attack, the Terrorhurtz style mad-axe is ready to fire, as MiniForce is coming nearer to Little Big Bot, as Chris dodges the attack, but misses the chance to go side-on to MiniForce, as Andy has turned MiniForce around in a spilt second, and is coming after Little Big Bot.
Chris reverses away from MiniForce, but he crashes into the arena wall, as MiniForce comes sailing into play and straight underneath Little Big Bot and crashes into the wall himself, as Little Big Bot gets away and fires the axe, trying to make dents in the top aluminium armour of MiniForce, but nothing is happening, as MiniForce reverse, pulling a J turn and gets underneath Little Big Bot before Chris can react.
Quick as a fast, Chris gets away from the front wedge by locking the right hand side wheels and putting all the power though the left hand side. MiniForce fails to get Little Big Bot into the arena hammer, but as before, Andy is back onto Chris€™ back, as Little Big Bot turns to avoid the front wedge of MiniForce. Andy dances around not allowing Chris to get a clean shot at the side, because MiniForce is weak going sideways.
And if the guns shout over our heads, nothing can fall. Little Big Bot turns around quickly to get away from MiniForce, as Andy puts on the power, the full power allowed by the drive system, as the electronic speed limiter has been turned off. How handy says Andy as he pushes on towards Little Big Bot, which spins around and fires the axe head, putting lots of dents in the top of MiniForce, as the first slip has started to form, as Little Big Bot is slammed into the arena wall, still at 15mph, as Andy has put on the speed limiter back onto MiniForce.
Little Big Bot is sent away on a spin, but lands upright and comes back onto the attack straight away, as MiniForce turns around, and Little Big Bot puts on the power, as both robots meet head-on, the hinged wedge of MiniForce is up, as Little Big Bot gets underneath MiniForce, as the first damage is seen to the sides of Little Big Bot with all the ramming, as Chris starts to push back onto MiniForce, which is trying to put down the power to get away from thin air. Meanwhile the axe is firing back and forward, as the top panel of MiniForce has come away from it€™s holding, showing the entire inside of the monocoque.
Chris has used up his supply of Co2, as the axe is getting slower and slower, as MiniForce changing tactics, drives up the front of Little Big Bot and going off sideways in a roll, landing upside down, as the rear spinner on the rear of MiniForce comes into play, making pretty sparks against the side of Little Big Bot. Chris meanwhile has turned and is aiming to drive MiniForce over the spike to damage the exposed insides, which are now upside-down. Once more, both robots meet, as the 30 second remaining alarm goes off, as Little Big Bot fails to get underneath the wedge of MiniForce, as Andy puts on the power and slams Little Big Bot straight into the arena wall, Little Big Bot lands on it€™s side.
Andy is smiling, but looks up to see that Little Big Bot can not be counted out due to that 30 second immobilization rule. Chris on the other hand fires the axe, even though it€™s slow and steady, Little Big Bot is rising from the dead like a bird from the ashes, until MiniForce slams straight into Little Big Bot, pushing it against the axe arm, until it bends underneath the force, as Little Big Bot is pushed into the corner, unable to get away, as the crowd starts to count down the final 5 seconds of the battle, as MiniForce turning around, rams into Little Big Bot with the rear disc to cause damage, a panel is sent away.
Cease
The panel comes down to earth and it is only a small piece of polycarbonate. The judges need to be called in to decide the battle which changed hands more than once.

Activate
Tom is away, trying to copy Hell Hound in the lightweights to get to Typhoon before it has spun up to speed. Martyn runs away towards the corner, hiding behind the hammer drop area, as the shell is up to speed. Chris, who today is driving Tom, drives towards Typhoon, and drives straight into it.
Both robots are sent away, the front wedge of Tom damaged, but Typhoon has stalled, the arena hammer fires, hitting Tom on the head, as both robots come together, Tom gets underneath Typhoon and fires the flipper. The crowd are silence, as Typhoon comes down to earth, the right way around, as Tom gets around good hit from the hammer. Martyn manages to run away and get away to safety.
Sven Goring Moneyson is in the crowd, looking on how well Tom performs to consider a place in the English team for the fore-coming world cup qualifier against that small team nobody has ever heard of. Meanwhile, Typhoon has got that shell up to speed, and as Tom comes cruising into play, Martyn dodges, and manages to get a good side hit onto the side of Tom. Tom spins around, and another hit from Typhoon and yet another hit, as co2 starts to leak, as the side has been gored open by the spinning shell. Martyn is not holding back as he gores another slice out of Tom for a sandwich.
Chris is trying to keep on top, but Tom is spinning around on the spot, as Typhoon hits into the front wedge once more, taking off, and causing sparks to fly, as the blades hit the arena surface flipping Typhoon over onto it€™s side. Tom is damaged, as Ref starts to count out Tom due to the fact that the left hand side wheel is kinda in 2 pieces, and one piece is currently over there *points to piece of wheel on arena floor*. Typhoon isn€™t moving, as the countdown has began.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and there goes the red card and the red light comes on.

Typhoon wins over Tom via KO in 3:48.
