Here is a cool pic  :proud: :D http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/...9/140ef94b.jpg
...that is possibly the least safe thing I have seen, are you sure that's balanced and won't seriously hurt or kill you if you test it?
When I test it I waill be on the other side of the door to my garden and my beetle weight will be up the other end of the garden it won't hurt me
Here are all the pics but how do you wire up a motor with a speed controller to get it to spin please reply I need to know to get my blade workinghttp://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/...9/1f5cea0e.jpg
Hi guys this is pugsters mum.....please be aware that firstly his dad is guiding him and we are keeping him safe!!we know we may not have all the best or right parts but we are doing our best!!:)
We cannot be sure how to wire up the blade to the motor any advise would help....
Please also remember this forum for pugster is a friendship link for him,he obsesses about robots and doesn't realize other people have a life too!!he doesn't mean to be rude or blunt,he just cant help it!!
Thanks for been supportive.
The point we're trying to get across is a tap wrench (the blade) almost certainly won't be balanced unless the motor shaft is the perfect diameter. Tap wrenches screw in from one side only so the centre of mass is very unlikely to be on the axis of rotation causing vibrations.
A prop adapter or hub of the right size would attach to the motor centrally and you can drill the holes to mount a piece of metal bar accurately enough by hand.
As to wiring I spy unconnected battery wires to the speed controller.
