We live 5 minutes from the venue,in Gateshead,if anybody wants to come round on Saturday night you are welcome( unless your machine has destroyed any of ours), at a small cost i might even get the Amir Khan fight on.See Wendy or Clive for details.

Question about the email. It says

Electronic equipment

All electronic equipment must be checked by the site technician before it is plugged in to the sockets which will be in your stand. Please adhere to this instruction as this is for your safety and the safety of others and is a key part of the risk assessment of the event.

Specifically what does this mean?

probably just chargers, power supplys etc need PAT testing. If you havnt fiddled around with things like PC power supplys etc or if you have and your wiring is okay, you have nothing to worry about.

Crap, the magnets do work, but be carefull of steal flipers, if they get stuck you could be disqualified :) on the other hand Flow could stick you to the arena roof!

Ok emergency time. Anyone got 1 or 2 spare A123 cells that I could buy off you?

Another cell has gone on the pack that was crippled at rebel and I dont really fancy running hornet on 6 A123 cells.

I think when i was talking to John Lear about a123s he had made his own packs and ueses them in the beautys might try asking them???

Mind you have you seen hornets track record?

I wired in a 4 cell nicad pack from a previous set of batteries that were nackered over. So hornet is currently running on nicads, A123s, blood, sweat and a few tears. Not the best combo Im sure but Im gonna have to dump the batteries after the comp as it is.

Savage Evo is the other one in the top 10. Jamie and George have videoed most fights I believe. Weve taken a couple involving our robots.

Hmm 360 sucks lol blew up both of my disc controllers.. so did Little spinner.. who happen to use the same brand of controller..

Back to the drawing board for the brushless boys.

Going to keep 360 out of competitions until im happy with it, its got a few problems that need sorting out and parts finnishing that never got looked at. But im happy with the damage i caused to DB5 lol

Good event while i was there on the saterday though, well done to the coopers etc.
