Andy, thanks for the praise hope we can continue to improve in both the heavy and feather categories. Ed, I agree with you we were glad to fight Big Nipper in the semi-final , again no disrespect. rather than Scorpian.
Got some work on the feathers before the Winter Tour, Turb is ok apart from a coat of paint or maybe something smarter.
Well I think its time i posted ... A very big hearty Well done to all the winners and also to all the loosers . The competition was exellent and all who took part in the first big major event since ROBOT WARS well done. I think dave from team turbulence was consistant and got a well deserved win .. Well Done to you . Ed second ... its a podeum finish :) . Captin Scarlet James Well Done to you to second place slips my mind at this moment in time (appoligies).. Dantomkia Sarah and Sean Well Done on the Anialater champions title taken from KANOPENER second Spike ... Bex, It was good to meet you too, I hadnt realised that you were part of team TAN until the champs. T4 vs TAN was a great battle. Tiberius always has had a thing with the pit :uhoh:

Scorpian V Nipper fight i can get sound but no pictures on Windows Media Player :sad:
Its compressed using DivX, you need the DivX codec.

Mark to be honest didnt notice anything wrong at the time, and it was a very even fight really.
Did anyone loose a blue fleece jumper at this event cause we seem to have one more than we came with? Also, did anyone pick up a black and red extension lead with team kronic written on it?

Going to upload our pictur gallery along with screen shots from the footage that was filmed of all the fights were using for the DVD coming out later this month - if anyone else has pictures they wanna email to webmaster@roamingrobots.co.uk within the next few days, then i can just include them in the big picture gallery which will be uploaded in a few days time - along with a sort of best bits clip/dvd advert of the Whole 2006 Uk Champs.

Hi Guys,
Finally hit earth with a bump again. Been lying on my death bed for the last few days, i think my body took over and decided I was having some time off.
Well done to all the winners and everyone who took part, the standard of the fights throughout each of the competitions was first class.
A big thank you to the crew, Tony Booth, and John Scorpion who helped us so much get through some difficult challenges while building the arena, without their help im not sure it would have been ready, or at least I wouldnt have had the few hours sleep i did manage to get.
Geoff, Jenny, Andy and lovely Sarah for your work behind the scenes, and anyone else that i have forgotten.
Would i do it again?? probably... but obviously there would have to be a few major changes. All I can say is watch this space for a 2007 Championship.
Now onto the Winter Tour. Details following soon.
