how can you tell if it is post number 1000?
it tells you on the main page next to randomness where it say posts
Just had a look back to see who started this thread - bet you didnt think it would go for this long eh Gary? :)
You gotta seriously worry about the things you find on the RFL forum... Takes toilet humour to new hights!!

I understand that Roaming Robots are providing portable toilet facilities for the UK champs. In view of the above, may I recomend that they are subject to a through inspection before use!! :)
I can see a use for the arena flipper here. Trust Geoff and his toilet humour to find that. Mind you, that could have been Jenny. She has a sick sence of humour.
Mike.
Isnt that nice :)
Mike, what went on in the bathroom, stays in the bathroom.
Well at least you hope it stays in the bathroom!!!
Speaking of that...I have no idea were SEWER Snake has been haging out at night time!
I keep finding him with dead batteries and wet tires in the morning ....
hmmm strange....:uhoh:
Matt, youre at it again - this time with snakes that hang out at night, dead batteries and wet rubber....
The mind boggles
Matt,
Ive been thinking.. You will worked out by now that Jenny and Karoline both have a fairly unique sense of humour.
Now, what happens if you introduce Wendy into that mix??
Have you any idea what sick and twisted plans they could dream up between them, given half a chance?
I have a very dark feeling about this! Come late August, I think we may need to watch our backs! :uhoh:
Where do you all Think I get my material!!!!!
When people meet Wendy for the first time, they think shes so quiet and nice and probably sits home and bakes cookies!.......
Hah!!!
Then they find out shes a champion combat robot driver and the only thing she does with kitchen appliance is TEAR them to BITS with her robots!!!!
The only thing I fear . . . .
+2>PLUMBCRAZY PILLOW TORQUE
NNNOOOOOOOOooooooooooo!!!!!!!!
And we are gonna miss all the fun!!!!!!:sad::sad:
Der Boyz
LOL Matt, I know what you mean about Wendy. Ive just discovered Friends Reunited and all my old schoolfriends (male and female) are so quiet and nice and probably sit at home and bake cookies!.......
+2>EXCEPT ME!!!
all your friend sit at home baking cookies?
i like cookies.
maybe we can introduce them to rach?
if the pillowtorque enthusiasm for robots rubs off at the same time, itll be heaven. baking cookie while chainsawing up robots... perfect woman
Were going to miss all the fun!!!!!!!!:sad::sad:
Der Boyz

Take a look at this http://www.ornithopter.ca/MediaGallery/Videos/index_e.htmlhttp://www.ornithopter.ca/MediaGalle...s/index_e.html
It reminded me of that old silent film clip of the umbrella plane jumping up and down and shaking to bits. Anyone travelling in that thing would probably need an industrial size & strength sickbag
The cameraman had worse shakes than the pilot I bet. :)
I always enjoy the ornithopter project. I think they might actually get it stable in a couple of years. They have made incredible progress during the last couple of years.

Yeah! and hurry up! My in-flight meal is getting cold! :proud:
i have to wonder what possible use that could have. the only advantage i can see is a lack of engine noise, but then it must have an engine for the hydraulics?
pointless in my opinion.
Its the same as mountain climbing. No real use for it, but you want to cause its a challange.
I see your navy picked up some Aussies from the current middle eeast crisis. Good on you.
When Geoff was in the RAF that was the latest fighter that was!
Mike.
What!? You mean the RAF have had airplanes for as long as THAT?
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/4783157.stmhttp://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/4783157.stm
Any chance of him hosting any future series of RW or whatever itll be called, is over
The RAF started just after WW I.
I dont think Geoff was young enough to be in the RAF.
I think Geoff was a founder member of the Royal Engineers balloon unit
Oi!!...Just because Im not in the country at the moment, dont you lot think that you can take my name in vain!
Anyway, I have very fond memories of the Sopwith Camel!!
.... Im not sure if it would have fond memories of you too
...... though I understand the Sopwithians were absolutely furious
never flew the sopwith camel, but have flown something with a camel engine quite a few times. not that reasurring having to start the engine with a shotgun cartidge before a flight!!
Well, it beats having to crank it up all by yourself dont you think so ?
