The problem is, the situation with Mark arguing and everyone else biting back has been allowed to go on too long really. Its got to the point where, like here, half the posts are about him and I dont really know whos at fault anymore. Weve probably been guilty of baiting him but at the same time he hasnt yet wised up to whats going on, and how to sort it, and Im not sure what can be done anymore to sort it all out, short of mass deleting posts and banning people and causing a lot of hassle.

Ill probably regret posting this later, but meh.

(having said the above and then read posts, I have to say that Ive found Kody to be one of the more welcoming people on here when I first came, and I think Mark might be being slightly harsh by thinking hes out to abuse him all the time)

I just think this:
Allowing or disallowing Mark can be something up to the writer to decide. Myself and Kody have banned him, but it is up to Paul to ban or allow him here

above all, Kody is one of the more helpful members here, no way in hell is this his fault

whats so annoying here is that this game is a really hard and quite technical game. No point based RPGs, you have to make sure yourself technical knowledge is sufficient to particapate in this, otherwise you cant.

Mark, obviously, is looking at this as just a game where you make up some armour (well, in his early days at least) and go with it. He doesnt see the knowledge he needs to gain, and the advice he needs to take to get there. And no matter how often we tell him, he just doesnt get it.

In the end, he isnt suited to play this game for all hes worth, simple.

I just think this thread should be handed back and declared an argument free zone, so we can get on with the fights. I do actually share a lot of peoples viewpoints about Mark and his antics (indeed banning him would seem to be the simplest way of eliminating all this :P), but I am trying to look at things as objectively as possible, and if a thread has more posts in it about Marks problems and other peoples problems with him than it has posts about robots, as is the case here, we have a problem.

It is impossible to ignore him, he just finds some other way of messing things up. :P

But yes, lets drop it.
