The Legends, Act 3, Scene 1
Welcome to act 3 of the extended 6 act tournament. Hey everybody who be reading this, my name is Trevor McDonald and on tonight with Trevor McDonald, 4 people will lose, and 4 people will move into the final, and now we go to the arena for the fighting.
FIGHT 1
The Box Again & PowerPoint Jr. Sr. vs. Novastorm & Flu-Bot the 2nd.
In the red side, PowerPoint Jr. Sr. Entered by Matt, who sadly can€™t be with us tonight, so Andy has cloned himself, to drive this 2 wheel drive light robot with front lifting forks. It is reliable, but the rubbish weapon power and low speed could be it€™s downfall against spinners. Out in the arena for team red, is The Box Again, it returns again. This time it is armed with lovely weapons and with good control to master the force young-on. However low weapon power and speed could find life hard going against a speedy flipper.
In the blue side, lies Flu-Bot the 2nd. Entered by Chris, with it€™s duel flipping arms at high power, robots could be flying tonight. However it is 4 wheel drive, but the speed and control are a tad low, so it will need luck to get the flippers into play, could self-righting be a problem if it lands near a wall? In the arena today, we have Novastorm, entered by Tony, who hopes to continue his winning ways with another 10 points. It is the fastest robot in the arena today, hence why the torque is so low. In addition, the bar might cause problems with reliability.
The house robots for the fight are:
Shunt and Matilda

Novastorm starts to spin it€™s bar up to speed, as Tony starts to move away from charging Box, as Tony presses the button, he moves sideways, as Andy misses the target before he can get his pointless and powerless drum into play, as Novastorm attacks by driving into The Box Returns with the bar at full speed. Both robots are sent spinning away, a lovely cut in the armour of The Box Returns is spotted, as the tag team rule has been broken, and PowerPoint breaks into the arena. With that Flu-Bot the 2nd comes into play, and chaos breaks loose, as Novastorm drives into PowerPoint and runs before either of the two Andy€™s can attack.
Chris is waiting by the sidelines, as Novastorm hits into The Box Returns, spinning it out of control, as Flu-Bot the 2nd gets underneath the robot and both flippers fire at once, sending The Box Returns into orbit and out of the arena. PowerPoint is looking to attack with it€™s lifting forks€¦ wait what lifting forks?
The lifting forks have been ripped off by Novastorm, as Flu-Bot the 2nd rams into PowerPoint and flips it over, landing onto the pit release. Flu-Bot the 2nd goes forward, as Novastorm reverses back into the tag team and tags, as order is restored, as Flu-Bot the 2nd gets underneath PowerPoint, which wheels are spinning and before the clock can tick...
Boom, boom, boom, boom, *Eastenders Theme plays in background*
Fight 2
Fooled ya, didn€™t I, as we return to the fight, as Flu-Bot the 2nd has gotten underneath PowerPoint and has flipped it over the fence and into the camera tracks.
Cease
The Box Returns and PowerPoint flipped high and dry by Flu-Bot the 2nd, as it goes into the final with Novastorm.
Fight 2
Yep, it€™s that time again:
SD IV & RIGGED vs. The Catus & Ratel
In the blue area, sits MRW4 champion, SD IV. We all know and love it, except for Mr Wheel. It has a lethal saw at the bottom, but the pushing power might be one of the best, the speed and control are bad, so could SD IV go out of control, go mad, and be sent to Weyhill? In the arena for team Aussie-Scot is rigged, named because Tom thinks he can win this, with his ultimate machine, it looks like the act 1 winner with it€™s biohazard style lifter, tough skirts, however the speed is rubbish and the torque could be better, so could Rigged by left in the dust?
In the red area, sits The Catus, the most reliable machine ever, with it€™s grabbing claw and 4 wheel drive chassis. However once flipped it€™s weapon is near useless and the speed isn€™t the best in the world either. Out of the box for team €œEvil Genus + Mad Scottish One€ is Ratel, armoured to the death, but with 10 kg wasted on a bottom of the range spinning drum with less power than Tony Blair. The speed is 2nd to bottom, which means it€™s the joint fastest in this fight, so will Ratel do the work?

Rigged starts to move forward, as Ratel also moves forward with all the speed of a snail, as Ratel€™s drum is at full speed, which isn€™t that fast, as Rigged comes €˜smashing€™ into the action and flips Ratel over onto it€™s back, as Alex reverses, tagging The Catus, as Martyn moves forward to try to attack Rigged, but Tom has tagged Steve to allow SD IV to come out with it€™s damaging weapon which isn€™t that damaging, as The Catus comes across the arena.
Steve has the slight speed advantage, but can€™t use it, as Martyn can turn quicker with his better control, as both robots finally meet, head-on. Sparks fly as the disc meets the lovely titanium of The Catus, as Martyn brings the claw down, and clamps down SD IV into it€™s evil hold, but no-damage is caused, as the front wheels of SD IV have been lifted off from the ground with the under-cutter, as the saw isn€™t moving, as The Catus turns around to take SD IV towards the pit release.
The rules once more have been broken, as Rigged comes out of the square and starts to €˜jog€™ towards the duel. Ratel doesn€™t want to be missing out on the fun, as Alex comes away and drives towards the party, as the pit is opened, as Rigged gets underneath the rear of The Catus and flips it up and onto SD IV, as Ratel comes in and rams into the rear of Rigged, and pushes it forward into the mix, and in the confusion the lifter fires, sending The Catus out of the arena, along with SD IV. All of a sudden the arena feels empty, as Rigged turns around, getting the flipper underneath Ratel and lifts it up with control and dumps it and it€™s hopes 6 feet under in a pot of smoking pie.
Cease
Ratel is left to wipe the pie out of it€™s face, as The Catus goes flying along with SD IV. But it€™s Rigged and SD IV who take the final by storm and move into the final.
Act 3, Scene 2
Rigged & SD IV vs. Novastorm & Flu-Bot the 2nd.
Tactics, Predictions, Parachutes?
...Bugger.
Well, PRAY TO GOD SD IV IS OUT FIRST. Ill be going out first, but if RIGGED is out first, immeditly Tag in chris, as itll be a better match up. Once (IF) chris gets RIGGED OOTA, his work is done. Ill basically just slam SDIV all over the place and eventually pit it, again, driving in small bursts of speed which hurts my aceelration, but gives me better control. If SD IV is out first, do the same as above, really rape it so it cant get a chance to tag in tom. If RIGGED is out first though and Chris gets KOd, PRAY TO GOD I can get under his sides and pit him. As usual, drive in small bursts of speed while im trying to pit him. IF I cant get under him, then you got me yet again, tom.
How is he going to get me out of the arena? *puzzled look* Good luck getting under my sides with the top-defence thickness...
Hey Steve, want to let me handle this one? I promise I wont flip you OOTA again!
Tom goes for Novastorm. I go for Flu-Bots sides and try munching on those wheels before attempting to shove it doon the Pit.
Sounds rather fair :proud:
How is he going to get me out of the arena? *puzzled look* Good luck getting under my sides with the top-defence thickness...
Well, even if theres a %0.00000000001 chance of it happening, its still a chance. Not like hed get under you easily, just that its extremley rare, but possible.
Tom, I have a wedge. A nice wedge to get underneath.
Chris: I have 4 wedges. And top armour.
Cop THAT!
*Totally confused as to what armour has to do with getting underneath another bot*
*is with chris*
