got back from wales event. had a good time especially the curry night with everyone that turned up. tried to blag beta from john reid but for some reason he wouldnt do a deal. good night tho. envy ran well on 36v i was pleased with it although it broke in 2 fights due to simple wiring faults. more mods for aylesbury event to do specially on the front. oh and i also tried to blag carls merc but he also wouldnt give in to my needs of a free car. oh by the way while i am on the blag andy cane has a new beemer mabee he could be a nice man and donate it to me................................................ ...............ok mabee not but nice motor anyway. oh and if you read this mr reid i owe you for 2 andersons which i went home with. good event james. tell your mate i am going to sue him for damaging my finger.....not really only joking. thanks for the help with everything else specially to pete and jonno cheers mate :)

my finger is fine thanks james. your friend lifted robot before saying lift and caught my finger and as i pulled it out it ripped the skin from the front of my finger nail bout 5mm back. almost reacted with a snap punch at your friend but kept calm. all ok tho accidents happen.

doing a re-build on envy. new chassis should see it lowered with new ram and total rewire. a newly seated flipper will be done. all good to beat DTK in a new forming grudge battle. tis 1-0 to DTK but will change soon. probably to 2-0 :)

wet event at aylesbury but a win againts DTK puts the runnings at 1-1. good old geoff.....errrr.....john and his driving. ripper just about beat us by de-fault. wet event but enjoyed it which is more than i can say for my missus and Leo.

not sure if jonno driving envy and outing dtk at northampton should count as a score........2-1 to envy i think. NV is in the middle of a rebuild now with a more shallow angle flipper and wider at the front. changed from ni-cads to hawkers so i will be able fight almost every fight. if everything else holds up that is. looking more like now firestorm but not intentionally.

been looking on e-bay and other places for a mig welder. there are names i am not familiar with and wondered if anyone could give any advice on wether they are good or bad.i am not loaded but i believe in you get what you pay for. so here are a few i am looking at....

i have the use of a nice esab 3 phase welder at the factory but i want a welder in my shed as i cant get to the factory all the time and when i can they are in use most of the time.
