Stinger vs. Malaria vs. SUNCUST
Stinger is a cool design but really the weakest link in this battle
as for the heat, I said before and will say again that this is the weakest heat of the tournament, between Warrior SKF, Starstorm 2, Malaria aand SUNCUST, everyone can win the heat, but Ill put my money on SUNCUST
Yes Frank this is the X-Terminator with the disc.
Heat M
Round 1 Battle 1
Warrior SKF (8) vs. Starstorm 2 vs. X-Terminator 3
Representing Aaron Knight and Team Disctructive Technologies is a real robot, and the 8th seed to boot: Warrior SKF! This monster was built by Terry Ewert of Team Whyachi and is a very powerful spinner. Its flywheel spins at 1000rpm, but that€™s not all. It has a wedge attached to the spinner with a flipper on top, but the flipper is powered by the flywheel itself! On top of this, the flipper is extremely powerful and can send other robots flying like Cyclonebot! Disable the spinner, however, and the flipper won€™t work. Remember this, rammers. :proud:
C&BT1: Immolated Chaos 2€™s remains, sent The Disc 5 into the pit, and then took out every single robot in the arena, which consisted of Shovearound 2, and the house bots: however, after his awesome victory in the Heat F Final, his flywheel rim was shattered by 4th seed Aneurysm in the Series Finals, and Warrior SKF was defeated.
Representing Frank Goacher and Team Bored: Starstorm 2! It€™s that dome we love to...watch flip stuff around. :proud: Its full body flipper sends bots flying terminally rather than across, and it€™s got some nice hardox armour to deflect those nasty spinners, though it€™s got weight reducing holes, self-explanatory. Attached to the dome are linear actuated skirts that can lower and get under bots. However it will not excel at get bots over the fence due to the method of flipping, and it can definitely be out-pushed.
C&BT1: Outflipped Gravity in Heat D Round 1, and next round pitted ArchAngel of the Abyss, but after it was counted out on its back. :proud:
Representing David Sheppard and his team (???) is another realie: X-Terminator 3! A true terminator of sorts, it has a front vertical flywheel, very damaging, and it can actually send robots out of the ring! It€™s more bulky than before, but although it€™s hard to flip, once it is, it cannot self-right unlike previous incarnations. It has decent armour, but it can still be damaged. Will the Terminator rise to glory, or €œbe back€ another time? :proud:

It€™s the 8th seed that flies off, right towards X-Terminator, who decides to confront Warrior SKF head-on. Starstorm drives away from them and goes to open the pit, as the two realies collide!
CRASH!
X-Terminator€™s disc catches the flipper of Warrior and tosses it a little, but minimal damage is caused, which is perfect for the Whyachi bot to utilize, and the flipper gets right under X-Terminator and...FLIP! WHOA! X-Terminator gets some nice air, and does a near perfect 360, landing back onto his wheels! Oh, there€™s the siren, meaning the pit has been opened, thanks to ol€™ Frankie. :proud: Warrior continues his march, and X-Terminator backs off to spin his weapon up...and finds his world inverted as Starstorm sneaks in from behind, back from the pit button, and gives an almighty FLIP, sending XT3 soaring, and landing dead on his back. The disc scrapes the floor and cuts some nice gauges into it, but the force is not enough to knock X-Terminator right side up again, and Warrior decides to cheat The Watcher off a countdown, because he€™s got X-Terminator on the flipper againm, and he€™s going to the wall! FLIP! X-Terminator soars again, and bangs down harshly on the other side of the fence!
CEASE!
X-Terminator 3 has his Judgement Day come a bit early.

Round 1 Battle 2
Stinger vs. Malaria vs. SUNCUST
Representing Matthew Fowler and Team Devil€™s Incarnate is yet another realie: Stinger! It€™s an axlebot with serious attitude, and a deadly thwacker that€™s actually beaten a crowd favourite, Panic Attack. Its exposed wheels can take a beating, yet they are still exposed and the discs in this tournament can really shred them. He may not have to worry about discs in this battle, but his control has been poor in the past, and it may come back to haunt him...plus he€™s quite lightweight.
C&BT1: Did not enter.
Representing Alex MacWilliams and Team Targeted: Malaria! Powerful drive including Magmotors and 6WD hardox wheels, rubber-coated, which give it a top speed of 22mph. Its armour is comprised of 5mm titanium for the body, and 7mm for the skirts. Its shape is similar to Biohazard, so it€™s hard to get under, but if you get under the skirts, you will probably sneak under the 7mm ground clearance as well. The main weapons? 2 diamond tipped hammers, powered by Nitrogen bottles, and a small, front lifting scoop, though slightly weak-ish. Apparently, though, if you get under it, it€™s screwed, though it can self-right using the axes...
C&BT1: Did not enter.
Representing Anthony Politzi and Team Hitmen: Super Upright Natural Clamper Unsurvivable Shover Thingy, otherwise known as SUNCUST! It€™s basically Diesector without the hammers or exposed wheels. Two sheets of hardox with spikes clamp down on its opponents at the front, powered by pneumatics. It€™s powered by 4 NPC Black-Max motors and 8 SLAs at 36v, giving it 16mph of velocity to work with. It also has front skirts around the jaws, and nice 12mm titanium armour, rendering it quite strong. It seems to be invertible too, and also has skirts around the sdies and rear. It is said that it needs to excel at more than just above average at times, however...

Here we go, unique weaponry again. :proud: Malaria has the quickest start, slamming into Stinger and pushing towards the wall. Stinger merely drives over it, missing the hammers, only to be snagged by SUNCUST€™s jaws and clamped! Well...it seems we may have two quick Round 1 matches here. Whoa, what the - Stinger pounded SUNCUST in the mace, and SUNCUST let go! Tony blinks, confused, but Alex isn€™t wondering about this, and Malaria chases down the axlebot and gives one of the wheels a taste of hammer! OOH! It€™s gone right into the wheel! Stinger pounds, and pounds, and the 5mm titanium seems to be withstanding the blows quite nicely. SUNCUST comes in again and tackles Stinger€™s other wheel hub-first, and opens the jaws wide. Stinger can€™t get away and the jaws close right around the tires and chomp down! Ooh...that€™s almost disgusting...almost? Malaria should be the one causing disgust. :proud: Speaking of Malaria, he can€™t seem to pull his hammer loose out of Stinger€™s wheel, and pulls back, dragging SUNCUST along for the ride. SUNCUST hangs on tight and tries to throw Malaria off, throwing itself backwards. AGH! Look, the rubber is slowly being peeled off of Stinger€™s gigantic tires! It is now officially disgusting...Malaria brings down his free hammer and whacks Stinger€™s axle, not really damaging it but finally freeing the other hammer from the wheel...and the said wheel seems to have stopped. Malaria backs off and SUNCUST takes control, shoving Stinger into Tira€™s CPZ, where Tira gladly accepts her bread.
CRASH!
Oh, man! What a hit! Foam, rubber, metal, and some colourful sparks fly as Stinger is wrenched from SUNCUST€™s slowly weakened grip and flung across the floor, now dead as a stone. SUNCUST decides not to go after Tira and instead travels over to Stinger and chomps down again. Malaria has opened the pit already, as the hole is there, and again The Watcher is denied a countout as SUNCUST turns, advances, and drops Stinger down into the darkness. BOOM!
CEASE!
For our friend Stinger, it was €œDie At First Sting€Â! :proud:

Warrior SKF (8) vs. SUNCUST
Starstorm 2 vs. Malaria
Tactics, predictions, comments, thoughts, and a mug of ginger beer please. :proud: If Frank comes, hide it.
And Dave, the last team name I remember of yours is Solarized... :lame:
(Message edited by kodster on February 05, 2008)
My tactics are to trade a victory for allowing Kody to keep that mug of ginger beer:)
...Seriously though, I feel I can pretty much disregard Malarias weapons. Nitrogen powers down quickly, so the first couple of hits will be brutal. The rest? Not so much. If I charge the front with the front wedge down as far as itll go, I should get under his scoop and be able to flip him. From there Ill bully him, keeping things close so he cant self right and get back into the fight.
Nitrogen is not allowed under FRA rules.
It is allowed for this tourny. hth
Kane - it is - it even says in the rules on the Roaming Robots website, you can have any type of compressed air/CO2 or Nitrogen, but it MUST be limited to 1000psi
8.1.
Pneumatic systems must use Carbon Dioxide [CO2] or Air.
From the 2008 http://www.fightingrobots.co.uk/docu...rules.pdfBuild
Paul, Roaming Robots and the FRA are not the same organisation. Under FRA rules:
quote:
8.1 Pnumatic systems must use Carbon Dioxide (Co2) or air.
If Frank wants to disregard his weapons hes free to do so, but hes going to be in for a shock when it smashes his armor in. Those brutal hits will still be brutal and do a lot of damage regardless of the end hits.
As for lowness of the scoop, Im curious to see who will get under whom but Id rather go for a side on hit as opposed to a frotn on front. I am faster, so I may be able to leverage that into getting around him, smashing him and then pitting him.
Because a hammer, even a nitrogen powered one, is going to smash hardox in. Right.
If he gets around to the side, Ill just put the relevent skirt down and wait for him to ride up me:proud: Ill have plenty of time to see which side hes going for, so by the time hes at the side, turned around, Ill ahve the skirt down.
Where did you see the rules on the Roaming Robots website Paul?
Interesting, a change in the rules. Well being as most people here basically disregard the official rules now I guess it wont have much of an effect, but its still something to take note of. And whats all the fuss about Nitrogen powering down? So does CO2 and I dont recall it being made such a deal of. :lame:
Because I believe nitrogen has a faster power-down time than Co2. Basically its for short endings rather than drawn out fights.
Because CO2 is stored in liquid form you can (a) store more and (b) it maintains a higher pressure.
Figure of speech Frank. Obviously its not going to smash it in but its going to come down with a lot of force.
And whether I ride up your wedge would be a matter of momentum. Its not like my front scoop/wedges ground clearence is higher than 0mm. My plow, anyway, can ride on the ground and it would be a matter of momentum anyway. If you just let me run at your side skirt, Ill get under because of the applied force on my plow.
Nitrogen is powering down faster dan CO2, however its starts off more powerfull than CO2. The initial pressure is higher. But you carry a lot less nitrogen in a robot than you could with CO2.
The same is true for air.
Momentums only half the story. By pushing down the skirt as far as itll go, itll literally be digging into the arena (sorry Kody), and nothings getting under it.
Well if its digging in the arena then my assumptions are that itll either lift half of your wheels off the ground (because of all the force pressing down on it etc.) OR youll have so much frictional force at the point of your wedges contact that it would become very hard for you to overcome it and drive away (or at least take the time for you to raise the wedge).
With this in mind, I could try for a side assault in order to make you lower your wedge into the ground, and once youve done so immediatly swerve around to the back and get under that (Assuming these wedges are not on all sides.)
Digging into the ground does effectively ground the machine, which is why its a defensive move rather than an offensive one. Lifting the wheels off the ground is part of the point, it puts more weight onto the wedge. Yes, the wedges are on all sides.
Ah, so it effectivley immobilizes the machine in favor of making the ground clearence zero? Nice. Hmm, well come in and try to pound the top or the wedges (maybe see if I can bend the wedges so they give clearence regardless if they are pressed or not)
All right lads, settle down.
Round 2 Battle 1
Warrior SKF (8) vs. SUNCUST
Warrior SKF (8) got nicked early by X-Terminator 3 but when Starstorm 2 flipped it over, that was it, as Warrior SKF tossed the helpless spinner over the wall and out.
SUNCUST teamed up with Malaria to destroy Stinger, and did so without too much hassle, shoving the realie down the hole after literally chowing down on its wheels.

The rim of Warrior SKF spins up to full speed almost immediately, and SUNCUST approaches warily. He€™s not going to take too many chances against this deadly realie, but Aaron takes it out of his hands by jetting out towards SUNCUST in a sudden joust. Tony is surprised by this tactic, surprised enough that it distracts him a bit and Warrior is able to come in at the front right corner, slip under the skirt, and FLIP! Up goes SUNCUST into the air, landing the wrong way up! And he doesn€™t have enough time to react before the 8th seed turns and inserts the rim!
CRASH!
The rim hits the 12mm titanium and bounces away, foiled. SUNCUST puts his jaws towards Warrior again and pounces. Warrior greets him with the wedge, and it€™s SUNCUST who prevails in the clash of lowered clearances, as Warrior€™s wedge rides right up into the jaws! The pneumatic jaws activate, and close down upon the flipper! WHOA! Warrior€™s flipper flew up and smacked SUNCUST€™s upper plate, which freed him just in time, before the spikes could get a good hold! Tony grinds his teeth and comes back at Warrior, who darts back towards one of the corners. SUNCUST backs up and Warrior misses, turning to find SUNCUST€™s jaws almost in his face. Warrior makes a reverse U-turn and nicks SUNCUST€™s side with the rim!
CRASH!
Still quite ineffective, but the judges are impressed by the number of sparks emitted. Warrior has a rush at the side skirt of SUNCUST, who backs off and Warrior just gets under, only the front of it and flips too late, raising himself slightly off the ground. SUNCUST darts in but also too late to take advantage, as Warrior turns away. Both are again facing each other, and decide €œTo hell with it!€ They charge! WHAM! Both clearances meet and cancel out this time, neither able to overpower the other...wait...SUNCUST is pushing the 8th seed ever-so-slightly backwards, and towards the arena wall behind! Warrior foresees his peril and backs off, but can€™t seem to turn and SUNCUST has him! He€™s going to the wall!
CRASH!!!
SUNCUST pounds Warrior€™s flywheel against the wall, sending the realie flying across the arena - OOHHH!!! The wall panel has been ripped completely off!
CEASE!
Oh dear, we can€™t allow the match to continue with the walls damaged! Please wait a moment while the C&B crewbots take time to patch the wall up...ah, there we go.
ACTIVATE!!
All right, we€™re back to the action. Warrior is coming around to meet the side of SUNCUST with the wedge, and...is foiled again. SUNCUST comes to greet the side and is nailed by the flywheel again!
CRASH!
SUNCUST is thrown a bit, but that 12mm titanium is really standing up to the rim of Warrior, which is surprising indeed, as Shovearound 2 last series got literally shredded by that deadly rim despite its own armour! And now SUNCUST is at the side of Warrior! HE€™S GOT THEM! The jaws sink in, the flipper flies, but nothing done! Warrior have been clamped! And now...now...surely they are doomed. SUNCUST rams his rear-end straight into the pit release, not only opening the pit but taking off the button from the wall! Argh...but now that€™s over, and Warrior falls out of SUNCUST€™s jaws and meets the bottom of the pit.
CEASE!
Warrior SKF goes down a few rankings, and classified as €œPrivate SKF€Â! :proud:

Starstorm raisesd the skirt a little and comes forward, but unfortunately he drives right into the lifting scoop of Malaria and gets lifted. BANG! The other side hammer comes down and Starstorm is shocked, but still seems to be okay despite another dent in the hardox. Starstorm is pushed away and receives another blow before hitting the wall. BANG! WHAM! Another blow, the tiniest bit less powerful than before, manages to dent the hardox once again, and Starstorm is stacked against the wall, receiving multiple hammer blows! BANG! BANG! BANG! The underbelly gets it now and it€™s not looking too good for Starstorm at all! The 6mm polycarbonate is being throttled! The Watcher decides to stroll in, and shunts Malaria. Malaria backs into The Watcher, and tries to attack him, leaving Starstorm...tipping onto his head...and no reaction. It seems that Malaria€™s hammers have done the damage required to steal Starstorm€™s chances of reaching the Heat Final! But The Watcher can€™t count him out as he€™s being pushed away by Malaria! BANG! The front wedge of The Watcher takes a blow, but only a small dent, and The Watcher€™s arm comes down and grabs Malaria by the hammer-shaft, and smacks him into the wall! Malaria is upended! The Watcher releases the Biohazard-shaped Team Targeted bot and goes back over to the seemingly dead Starstorm 2, to give him his judgement. This of course leaves him prey to a newly-self-righted Malaria who bores in on the ref again and lifts him up by the rear! HE€™S OVER! The Watcher has been upended! Ooooh, here comes Obelix to deal with you! WHAM! The wedge of Obelix gets under Malaria and due to the angle of Obelix€™s wedge, it sends Malaria flying! This means Obelix misses his hammer blow. :proud: Malaria lands on his wheels again, but the ref has righted himself using the arm and is currently counting out poor Starstorm 2!

Try to smack the wheels and jaws with the hammers, stay away from that front! :P Im a bit faster so I will try and get away from his front if he charges me.
If he tries pressing his claws against the floor to get under me, then use the ground clearence on his other sides to get under and hammer him. 12mm titanium is much more suscetible to my hammers, I think :P

SUNCUST gives chase, but Malaria being the quicker of the two evades him, gets around, and finds himself at SUNCUSTs sides! BANG! One of the hammers comes down before SUNCUST can get away and hammers the 12mm titanium body but it bounces off with a small dent in the armour. SUNCUST backs off and comes at Malaria again, but Alex turns his machine away, and heads for the flame pit. SUNCUST again giving chase, and Malaria passes the flame pit, turns and makes a go for SUNCUSTs side. Unfortunately he passes too close and SUNCUST turns and slides under the side skirt again! Malaria is high-centered on the jaws, which close around him! Hes snagged - NO! Down come the hammers and shake him loose from the peril of the jaws, now fully closed and Tony gnashes his teeth for the second time this heat. SUNCUST shakes and opens the jaws, and runs towards Malaria who again heads away from a frontal assault and towards the side, but SUNCUST is already there. He tackles Malarias side once more but fails to push the lower jaw under the skirt and Malaria takes advantage, by turning towards SUNCUSTs own side, and finally penetrates HIS skirt! The plow lifts, and SUNCUST is tipped up, and thrown into the wall by Malarias charge! Down come the hammers! BANG! BANG! Into SUNCUSTS side! Amazingly the 12 titanium isnt putting up that bad of a fight, but now some dents can be seen, and still the hammers come down. BANG! BANG! Still only dents, but looking worse for wear now, and now the side skirt has been bent up...SUNCUST cant seem to get away and The Watcher comes over to have a look. Malaria backs off and SUNCUST gladly falls back down onto his wheels, and jets off before Malaria can shove him back into the wall. The Biohazard-shaped bot chases after SUNCUST, who rams the pit release button, and Malaria catches up...to meet SUNCUSTs jaws! What a turn of events! :proud: Malaria stops too late, as SUNCUST comes forward and slides under the lifting plow of Malaria and the front skirts, lifting the entire front end up, and chomps down! BANG! BANG! Malarias hammers come down and smash the top of SUNCUST! Ooh, big dents have been made by the hammers this time around! SUNCUST seems to be moving slowly as well, but hes so near the pit! Round 1 Battle 1
Die-Ceratops Re-Invertus (6) vs. Son of Ripper 5.0 vs. Chaos 2
Representing Christopher Mason and Team Dinowarrior is the 6th seed: Die-Ceratops Re-Invertus! Wheely Big Cheese it is, with side bars to stop strandings and somewhat protect the 2 outer tires. 8mm titanium armour gives it a sturdy demeanour, but its main focus is the WBC-inspired flipper that is even more powerful, capable to tossing a tonne or so. Also like WBC, it is invertible, given its name. It has a decent speed of 15mph but it can be outmatched by more agile bots. He€™s definitely looking to do better than 6th, but is he able to?
C&BT1: Took out Knightmare, Taki, and Tira in the first battle, then devastated the favoured Infusion Beta, before finally tossing Tempest Evil-er-oution over the fence in the Heat G Final. However, in the Series Finals, he was doomed to meet the second seed, Clawdius Decimus Murderous, and ultimately ended up out of the arena, thanks to a surprise appearance from Sir Killalot.
Representing Andrew Jackson and Team ???: Son of Ripper 5.0! How it rips is anybody€™s guess, but it probably won€™t get ripped into much due to a 3.25 Hardox monocoque and 4mm Ti/V joint skirting at the sides. Its flipping arm appears to be a cross between Atomic€™s and Bigger Brother€™s, the plate of the flipper extending around the width of the front. The said flipper is quite powerful, and at the rear is a hardox spinning bar, powered by a Magmotor. 2 LEMs power the 2 wheels, and combine that with everything else plus a 12mph top speed and that€™s a pretty good all-rounder for you. :proud:
C&BT1: Tossed OOTA by 7th seed Enter the May Tracks in Heat B Round 1.
Representing Steven McGregor and Team Braveheart is a real robot: Chaos 2! The beloved back-to-back Robot Wars ex-champion returns, its CO2-powered flipper at full potency. It may have only 2 wheels but at 20mph it€™s the fastest of the three competitors in this fight. However, it weighs only 84kg, surely to be outweighed by its opponents, and 70mm clearance around the sides and rear is definitely not good, especially with two other flippers in the fight. Is Chaos 2 getting too old for its good?
C&BT1: Obliterated by 8th seed Warrior SKF in Heat F Round 1.

Die-Ceratops can€™t seem to get Exa-Gore-Ic out either, the 400kg of weight being a bit too much - AND THERE GOES THE REF!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!! The Watcher - HAHAHA - has been tossed over the - HAHAHA - fence, courtesy of AJ!!! This is complete and utter disregard for...really, virtually everything! AND THAT€™S WHAT WE CAME TO SEE! ANARCHY! MAYHEM! This is what it€™s all about! And now SoR is back in at Exa-Gore-Ic with his flipper back under the mighty house robot, not really looking so mighty anymore, and Chaos 2 flipping, Die-Ceratops with a snort, AND...IT€™S DONE! Exa-Gore-Ic has been kicked from the arena! We will remember this! Oh go on, make it three for three...Die-Ceratops ventures over to the obviously dead Double Big Mac...ah, there we go. Gone. The 175kg spinner crashes down on the wrong side of the wall. OH! Chaos 2 has attacked Die-Ceratops, and now we€™re back to the fight! Die-Ceratops is hoisted, yes, but not flipped, and Chaos 2 is holding him there, trying to flick it out, and he€™s now got Die-Ceratops€™ side against the wall, and again trying to get him out - FLIP! SoR flies in and flips in the rear of the realie, and Chaos 2, quite literally, has turned over! And right onto Die-Ceratops€™ flipper! Die-Ceratops reverses towards the empty CPZ...and FLIP! Chaos 2 is bounded over and...that€™s pretty much it. Oh! SoR has driven itself right into the newly opened pit. Well, now I€™ve pretty much seen everything. And loved it.
CEASE!
Chaos 2 goes the way of the house robots: Out Of The Arena. :proud:
Die-Ceratops Re-Invertus (6) and Son of Ripper 5.0 advance to Round 2!

Round 1 Battle 2
Achilles vs. Tough As Nails vs. Rammy Mk 3
Representing Alex Holt and Team DoomForAll: Achilles! Powered by Eteks @ 48v, it runs the drivetrain Tornado does and achieves a speed of 18mph. It has a pneumatic and hydraulic lifting system, but for this battle, the pneumatic flipper will do, with 2 500psi CO2 canisters giving it very powerful flipping, and a T-shaped bar at the rear saves it CO2 by righting Achilles. It€™s a nice, beefy box with a curved rear like Hydra from S6. However...5mm titanium isn€™t really that protective nowadays, despite the urethane rubber on top to foil crushers/axes, and it can€™t really damage opponents.
C&BT1: Did not enter.
Representing Martijn Benschop and Team Varying Every Day is a real robot: Tough As Nails! Arguably the best crusher out there today, those pincers pack wallops of force, and once they€™ve got you, you€™re pretty much dkuecf (unscramble :proud:). The hardox armour is definitely a plus as well, so it€™s really hard to damage this clamper, but tire-hungry spinners will always go after the exposed wheels, and it€™s pretty easily flipped. For some Bex-related reason, Jeroen allowed it to be painted pink... :proud:
C&BT1: Avenged his Series 7 loss on Bulldog Breed, but next round he took a licking from 16th seed Shovearound 2 in Heat F.
Representing Martyn Forsyth and his team (???): Rammy Mk 3! An invertible box with a hinged front wedge, it€™s got 4mm hardox armour and skirts to try and halt wedge approachings from the sides and rear. The front wedge is linear actuated and can work either way up, though not necessarily needed unless he needs aggression points. LEM-powered, it€™s got great pushing power and a good speed of 20mph, but it€™s still the 2nd lightest in the entire heat at 94kg.
C&BT1: Did not enter.
Roboteers, stand by...
Booth 1: Rammy Mk 3, Achilles
Booth 2: Tough As Nails

ACTIVATE!
Straight away for the clamper are both Achilles and Rammy, and Martijn goes straight for Achilles, however just going onto the wedge and FLIP! is sent flyling all the way across the arena in just one toss! Rammy heads in TAN€™s direction, and slides underneath the jaws quickly, stopping any movement from TAN, and immediately smacking the realie into the wall! WHAM! Achilles joins in and Alex looks like he wants to finish the match early. FLIP! TAN flies along the wall courtesy of another wicked flip from Achilles, and before it can move, Rammy pins it again, waiting for the inevitable. TAN€™s wheels spin furiously, but he can€™t get off of Rammy€™s wedge! And sure enough, with only 16 seconds gone by in the match, Achilles shoots in, gets underneath TAN, as Rammy now backs off...and FLIP! Can you say, out of the arena? Martijn can€™t. In fact, it doesn€™t look like he can say anything, seeing TAN on the arena camera track. Achilles travels to the center of the arena and begins to spin, as Rammy follows suit.
CEASE!
Tough As Nails wasn€™t tough enough to a take a flight to Neverland. :proud:
Achilles and Rammy Mk 3 advance to Round 2!
Round 2
Die-Ceratops Re-Invertus (6) vs. Achilles
Son of Ripper 5.0 vs. Rammy Mk 3
Tactics, predictions, comments, thoughts, and a lead sledgehammer please. :proud:
*Hits Kody with the sledge hammer, before it falls apart in my hands and crushes my foot *
So, predictions
Round 2
Die-Ceratops Re-Invertus (6) vs. Achilles: There goes my theory of a Heat Final between those 2. Im going to go for seed to break those skirts and flip it against the wall, leaving a dead duck - it did in FAR8. Either that, or Die-Ceratops flips his opponent OOTA.
Son of Ripper 5.0 vs. Rammy Mk 3: A tricky battle...Son Of Ripper to live up to its reputation and pit Rammy.
Heat Final: DIE-CERATOPS REINVERTUS vs. SON OF RIPPER 5.0
Ill go for the almighty flipper of DIE-CERATOPS REINVERTUS to win through here.
TACTICS
Well, hes faster than me, and he has a flipper. Well, I do have some stratergies...
1: Obviously, try and throw him out of the arena. I dont think it should be that difficult if he crosses me.
2: I may try just wedging him, then pushing him into the CPZ. The House Robots can deal with his weak armour.
3: If he gets under me, Ill throw myself off. Literally...fire the flipper, invert myself and thus avoid the attack.
