Gotta say Chris Mk2 looks very nicely put together and well engineered. Look forward to seeing the finished robot.
What motor have you got running the Drum?
Still got to get Zero running.
Fancy a match up Drum-on-Drum if i ever get to the same events as you?

Hang on a second Chris,
What exactly are you proposing to tip the blades with? I hope its not something like tungsten carbide as this wouldnt be allowed on the grounds of being too brittle.

Yeah and you might wanna add that Vertigo was over 14.5kg.
I think you was one of the teams that took the p*ss in terms of using a free buy of being over weight at the first event. Luckly most roboteers allowed you to run since your disc wasnt damaging. But at the next event you need to be spot on 12kg.

Geoff ive been assured by the machine shop that it is not brittle and will not shatter. The alloy is Stellite which is going to be welded to the mild steel teeth so it is fused together. Stellite is a alloy containing cobalt, chromium, and tungsten, usually used for high-speed, heavy-duty, high temperature cutting tools im assured that it is shock resistant unlike Tungsten Carbide and safe to be used on the bot.
