WOW! Seriously impressed! :)
Bring it over here to fight the feathers, would be fun :)
Mario, Dat is een kwalijke zaak!... Je houden dat dingtje in Belgie!! :)
Geoff, that machine is Dutch, and I deny any influence on that builder.
This machine is build with the German raptor rules. these outlaw any high strenght RC motors- like Astroflights- or bigger than size 540, and voltages above 12V.
LiPo batteries arent allowed either.
Another dutch builder has announced to build a simular machine, but featherweight, and using state of the art batteries and motors.
BTW, good dutch, only the verb is wrong. houden is for multiple persons like you lot in this case it would be houdt.
I stand corrected, damn verbs!!
(Looking forward to seeing that new Dutch feather though!)
ahhh, you spoiled the suprise
and dingtje should be dingetje

@Mario
In the Raptor-Class motors are allowed up to 750er,
but not modified.
Batteries are limited to 12 V, but LiPo and LiIon- batteries are possible(11,1V)

If you are interested you can find the GRA-rules for Raptors here:

This 6kg-class was made to give beginners with a low budget a chance to start with this hobby.
Dirk
Mario tries to deny that he had and has any influence on that Dutch lad, but he omitted the fact that several visits and travels together have already happened...

With LiPo batteries its not exactly low budget anymore now is it?
But still, its a nice weight class, all be it to small for me. Looking forward to MMM 4 in april.
I found my first LiIon-pack on ebay, 1Euro + 8 Euro shipping.(notebook batterie)
That´s low budget i think, isn´t it?
In all classes it´s possible to buy better parts spending more money.
So we have some limits but not too much
