Or three or four suckermouth catfish.
Here you go, Chris. My unprofessional opinion :lame::
- ORKA MK 4: How exactly does the dorsal fin work? Is it a pneumatic ram ala Vlad the Impaler? Also, it wouldnt hurt to know how powerful the claw is. Is it just for clamping or does it have a bit of crush behind it too?
- DIE-CERATOPS REINVERTUS: One weakness I find in launchpad flippers like Wheely Big Cheese is low pushing power. Maybe you could upgrade to 4 wheels. Itd improve control, and with the right batteries, would make it easier to ram under other robots.
- CYCLONE FORCE 2.5: Maybe slow down slightly to improve control. Some of those set-ups might be rather unrealistic to swap around in real life too, but then again, this IS fan fiction, so why am I complaining? :proud:
- LEPROSY INFECTION: Im not entirely sure how the wheel guards work, but Im guessing something to do with weights. Maybe you could add a pair of front prongs or a a pair of lifting forks slightly wider than the drum (like Kick Robutts arms, only beefier). You could scrape under other robots, lift them into the drum and parade them around the ring.
- MEGA MASHER 2: This is more of a pushy bot, so you might want to beef up the armour a little. A little description of how the srimech works would be helpful too.
- Y4: The semi-exposed wheels could suffer greatly against spinners. You could either beef up the pods protecting them or move them inside the robot. It might help to make Y4 invertible too. That way, if youre trapped in the corner, you can drive out of danger and self-right where theres more room.
- AXE-O-LOTL: Youve said youve beefed up the armour, so I dont think much else needs changing here.
- OBLITERATION: Make it faster. :proud: If you want something steady and controllable, maybe go somewhere between 8-12mph. Also, Jamie & Kody are right, invertible FBSs are usually ring spinners, in that an outer rim of armour spins rather than the whole body. Maybe its just me but 500rpm sounds rather slow. 700-1000rpm sounds a bit more threatening.
- CRASH BANDIBOT 3: Specify what type of flipper it is. From the stats, I can deduce its rear-hinged ala Chaos 2, but it never hurts to confirm. Maybe itd be useful getting a weapon for the rear wedge too, like a pneumatic spike ala Spawn of Scutter.
- SPRING-BOK!: Looks good to me. Reminds me of Maximus, except the flipper doesnt activate at 2mph. :proud:
In general, try to specify what motors (MagMotors, LEMs etc) and weapon power (pneumatics/hydraulics, psi etc) youre using like Jamie said. It indicates how powerful your machine is more clearly and adds that extra air of professionalism. Id also be weary of ground clearances, as robots too low to the ground run the risk of getting stuck. Usually about 5mm+ keeps you safe.
Hope that helps! :)
Actually, while Im here, I might as well ask for advice. Id really like to do some modifications to some of my squad in time for the next Crash & Burn Tournament, but I dont know what there is I can do. Im mostly happy with Wedge, Killotine and Whirligig but Im quite interested in upgrading Spin Dash, Clawdius and Tails and maybe throwing together a new machine. I know some people have been prodding me to upgrade again(*coughodykaycough*) and I wouldnt mind knowing what I should do.
Thanks Steve. To answer your queerys...
-ON ORKA: Actually, the dorsal fin worked in a much more complex way than that...but come to think about it, thats a good suggestion. The claw works ala Mantis, purely for grabbing.
ON LEPROSY INFECTION: Would it be possible to have prongs that were on a hinge, so theyd still work if Leprosy was inverted?
ON MEGA MASHER: The srimech is a bar that comes out sideways, like Minions, or Hypno-Discs.
ON CRASH: Yep, the flipper is rear hindged.
ON MOTORS: To be honest, I know very little about motors. At the moment, I specified Y4 as having the S28-400 that Jamie suggested without really knowing what its on about, or even if thats correct (whether the 28-400 behind the S is meant to be a single set-up, or its a range). Im still learning here.
Uh...*points at name* :proud:
Regarding Spin Dash, LEM130 Magmotors dont exist. Otherwise, I cant see what you could do to improve it, other than the usual better armour and stuff.
Likewise for CDM. For Tails, either the design, the srimech or the picture needs improving, but I think you knew that already :P
hahaha, LEM130 Magmotors, yes, a genuine mistake from your part Steve ol boy
furthermore, Tails and MSSD are the ones you redid most recently, if I were you Id test the current versions a bit longer before re-doing them. Wedge Devo and Whirligig are very good machines too in the current game. CDM perhaps can be given a small change to make it more agile, and stay on top of the vertical crushing food chain :proud:. Perhaps Killotine can use a new... something... too, if only to please *coughodykaycough*.
As for a new bot... design what you want and bring it to this thread so we can all say how much we love it :proud:. Also please take another look on The Doomsday Project, will ya .
Youre Jamie and youll like it!
I do have an idea to fit some Mute-style barbs on Clawdius wedge to help trap opponents, but any ideas on powering up the crusher or improving the agility would be appreciated.
As for MSSD, wheesht! :lame:
thats no way to honour an MN2 semi-finalist :lame:
So Im stuck on a forum where robots come in to my life for no apparent reason, and people have decided to call me Jamie?!
...cooool. :)
As for actual advice, I doubt powering up the crusher would actually have much effect in battles, and try doing what Razer did for agility - go for 4 wheels and put rollers in the rear ones so the robot pivots more around the front.
And for your new robot, go for something with tracks. Me likes tracks.
Traction Man, The Greatest Hero of Them All!
On a more serious note, Im having trouble with one of my newer designs:
WEIGHT: 100kgs
DIMENSIONS: 140 x 140 x 15 cm
SHAPE: A low dome type shape
DRIVE: 2 S28-400 Magmotors driving 2 wheels, with a fairly narrow wheelbase to increase rotation speed, running at 24v from 4 NiCd packs, with ball castors around the edge to
stabilise it.
SPEED: About 12mph average when driving normally, can get up to 40mph when spinning
GROUND CLEARANCE: 5mm all around, except at the front where the forks make it 0. 1mm in places because of the blades.
ARMOUR: 3mm aluminium on top of 7mm UHMW on the top of the robot, supported by a 4mm Hardox frame underneath with holes drilled to reduce weight. 3mm aluminium baseplate.
WEAPONS: Complicated this...it has an electric lifting arm running off a 1 tonne linear actuator, pivoting from the rear of the robot with two front forks to get underneath opponents. The arm can lift 250kgs easily and extends fully (almost vertical) in about 1.5 seconds. Also, the robot is a full body spinner with an outer 3cm Hardox ring with two blades/teeth, one on each side, made of hardened tool steel set close to the floor (1-2mm) and capable of delivering (energy)
SRIMECH: The lifter
NOTES: Internal components shockproofed to protect it from its own and other peoples spinner hits.
The main problem is the energy for the FBS - I dont quite know how to look a it, considering the shape and the fact I know very little about spinners and the formulas required. The Team Cosmos calculator doesnt seem to work for me, so could someone more experienced with spinning things help me out, and also help me with the general design?
Can someone take a look at this, please?
Name: Lethal Injection
Shape: Stinger, but with static prongs between the wheels.
Colour: Unpainted.
Weight: 100kgs
Dimensions: L:55cm W:60cm H:45cm
Speed: 18mph
Turning Circle: 0cm
Armour: 9mm titanium on the wheels, 5mm Hardox for the prongs and disc.
Ground Clearance: Ermm.. Being a stinger style axlebot, it doesnt
really have one. The prongs are 0mm however.
Movement: 2 stinger style wheels with Vulkanon rubber tyres, with 2 LEM130s and 4 NiCad battlepacks at 24volts.
Weapons: Spinning disc positioned in between the prongs. The idea is that the opponent will be wedged on the prongs then caught by the disc. The disc is powered by a LEM130 at 2000rpm and deals about 60kj.
Scrimech: Invertible
The dimensions look a bit off, otherwise its quite good, looks like it could do well.
Lots to catch up on€¦
DVD - Batteries. How are you going to change the direction the drum motor spins in? Other than this, that€™s pretty good. Still a few things to fix but its all little things like turning circles.
Ah, Chris. I€™ve been wanting to analyse your stats for quite a while. You have some good designs, which are slowly reaching their potential in tournaments, but hopefully I can suggest a few things to improve them.
Orka Mk 4 - 2mm ground clearance is not enough, and being as you are multi-weaponed you probably won€™t be able to have skirts. I€™d go for 8mm at least. Its not necessary, but what are your wheels and tyres made of? Go for S28-400 Magmotors for drive, at 24v. How thick is the Titanium on the scoop? Similarly, what is the claw made of and powered by? Could you give more details on the pneumatics (or give us a little more on what you want it to do, so we can arrange that)? What is the self-righting fin powered by? I have many suggestions on what to do with this robot, so say if you want to know what I would do.
Die-Ceratops Re-Invertus - Again, I would personally up the ground clearance to about 10mm. All it takes is a piece of armour 3mm thick to come off and you€™ll be high and dry. Go for S28-400 Magmotors at 24v for drive again. What powers your flipper as well? I€™m a fan of this vapourbot.
Cyclone Force 2.5 - Maybe a little fast for my liking. Up the ground clearance to 10mm all round, your skirts can protect this. For drive, go for LEM130€™s at 36v, which is what Storm II uses. What powers all of your interchangeable weapons? Otherwise that€™s fine.
Leprosy Infection - Once more, up that ground clearance to at least 6mm. I think this has already been covered, but could you explain more about the wheel flaps? Once again, go for S28-400 Magmotors for drive. What powers your drum?
Mega Masher 2 - As usual, raise the ground clearance. Go for 3.25mm Hardox for the armour. Power, I would suggest going for the S28-400€™s like with the others, but for the record Tornado uses Bosch 750€™s at 36v. What powers your self righting bar and flywheel?
Y4 - You guessed it, raise the clearance. Again, go for the S28-400€™s for drive. You could also thicken up the armour a couple of mm. What powers the flipper?
Axe-O-Lotl - Yeah, raise the ground clearance€¦ As with Mega Masher 2, change the Steel to 3.25mm Hardox. As with Cyclone Force 2.5, go for LEM130€™s at 36v for drive. What powers the axe?
Obliteration - I would double the speed at least. Double the ground clearance too, actually. For drive, yep, S28-400 Mags. As I think others have said, rather than an FBS this would be termed a ring spinner. On the topic of doubling, double the spinning speed and say what powers the ring.
Crash Bandi-bot 3 - You provided a rough shape and dimensions here, good. I€™ll get back to that later. Go 6mm+ at the sides clearance. I€™m sure you can guess what I suggest for drive by now. What powers both the spike and flipper? Nice idea, by the way.
Spring-Bok! - Higher clearance. You know the drill for drive. Needs some more weapon details.
In general, you just need to be more specific. All robots probably require dimensions. Stating what sort of robot your vapourbots are like is a nice touch, but you would probably be better off explaining it instead. Some people may not know what the real robots look like. I think basically every single one of your vapours needs higher clearance. I wouldn€™t go lower than 6mm, and personally I usually go for 10mm. Explaining what your wheels are made of (especially the tyre/tread) may be useful. Your armour is okay, but I find Hardox more durable than Titanium to use, despite the weight disadvantage. You should be fine though unless you face one of the big spinners, but they generally tear anything up anyway. You probably also need to provide battery details, although this is one of my many weak points. You also haven€™t mentioned what type of motor is being used - I have generally suggested S28-400€™s. As mentioned earlier in this thread, I find them to be the best all round motor for use. You definitely need to say what powers your weaponry. All this can easily be improved though. Good job! :)
If you want the short version - read what €œJamie€ put. :P For overall improvements to the vapourbots, rather than to the stats, see what Steve put. Especially the paragraph on motor and weapon specifics.
Steve: I shall look forward to looking at your bots. Post your stats up/give a link, please - I€™m too lazy to go and find them.
OAMSNIHTWOOMND - Nice name! I would scrap the castors and go for 4WD. Double the ground clearance. Pretty crappy top armour, but whatever. :P 30mm Hardox ring? Oh dear, did Shovearound 2 open up the superheavyweight contest again? I€™d say 10mm Hardox maximum, and maybe less being as you have a large diameter. I€™m guessing this is Revenge of Trouble and Strife style, which is cool.
Lethal Injection - Looks like someone has beaten me to an Infernal Contraption clone. I€™m fine with those stats, good.
And there is my long, boring, pointless advice. Enjoy!
Thats not the name :P and I actually tried to go for the maximum possible thickness and tried putting that into the materials calculator, but looking back on it 30mm is overkill, youre right...and its not ROTAS style, I was thinking more Mouser-Mecha Catbot with a weapon that worked and the ability to be a full body (not rim or shell) spinner if needs be.
It should be. In fact. from now on, thats its name.
No objections.
...why didnt I think of that before! Thanks for that, Danny..
No Objections
WEIGHT: 100kgs
DIMENSIONS: 140 x 140 x 15 cm
SHAPE: A low dome type shape
COLOUR: Yellow, with a yellow and black striped lifter with red forks, and stylised black arrowheads on each side. The spinner rim is metal-coloured.
DRIVE: 2 S28-400 Magmotors driving 2 wheels, with a fairly narrow wheelbase to increase rotation speed, running at 24v from 4 NiCd packs.
SPEED: About 12mph average when driving normally, can get up to 40mph when spinning
GROUND CLEARANCE: 7mm all around, except at the front where the forks make it 0. 1mm in places because of the blades.
ARMOUR: 3mm titanium/vanadium alloy on top of 5mm UHMW on the top of the robot, supported by a 4mm Hardox frame underneath with holes drilled to reduce weight.
Also, the robot has the capability to be a full body spinner with an outer 1.2cm Hardox ring with two blades/teeth, one on each side, made of hardened tool steel set close to the floor (1-2mm) and capable of delivering (energy)
SRIMECH: The lifter
NOTES: Internal components shockproofed to protect it from its own and other peoples spinner hits.
STRENGTHS: Versatile, can cause some damage, manoeuvrable
WEAKNESSES: Large area to attack, top armour not as strong as it could be, cannot translate while spinning

Joey, just out of interest, why are you getting called Jamie now?
Except for the fact its a good name :)
Dunno.
Heres me stats, AJ.
1) Wedge Devolution
SHAPE- low wedge with sloped rear and Biohazard-style side and rear skirts
COLOUR- sleek and shiny silver
WEIGHT- about 100kg
DIMENSIONS- 90cm X 78cm X 40cm
SPEED- 16mph
TURNING CIRCLE- 0
GROUND CLEARANCE- 0mm at the front, 7mm for the rest of the robot (without skirts), 0mm at all sides (with skirts)
ARMOUR- 4mm Hardox
WHEELS- inside robot, 4-wheel drive
POWER- 12 x 12v 3amp NiCad packs, giving 36v @ 12amp; 2 x LEM-COs at 36v for drive
WEAPONS- As usual, the main weapon is a rear-hinged flipper. This is very similar to Chaos 2, except the blade at the bottom is bent ala Bigger Brother, allowing the flipper to have greater effect against bots with skirts or low centres of gravity. The flipper itself is powered by 2 X 80mm high pressure pneumatic rams, each running at 250psi. According to Dannys flipper calculator (making the flipper 6kg and the amout of gas aboard 2kg), Mr Devo should use about 34 flips per fight and throw approximately 816kg in total.
Also, the front blade can be exchanged for a Nose-style plate, approximately 15cm in length. This is used primarily for full-body spinners, but hardly ever used.
SRIMECH- The flipper can right the machine easily and the rear wedge should hopefully prevent a Chaos-style self-flip. Also, Wedge Devo is equipped with a grey semi-sphere on either side of robot to prevent it getting stuck on its side
NOTES- flashing red light on top of robot, flies Scotland flag
STRENGTHS- powerful flipper, fast, manoeuvrable, difficult to get underneath, tough armour, good traction
WEAKNESSES- could prove a bit tricky to control, limited CO2 (like all other flippers)
2) Killotine: EVO
SHAPE- compact box shape with a front Storm 2-style wedge and spatula for getting under other bots
COLOUR- red
WEIGHT- about 100kg
DIMENSIONS- 100cm X 70cm X 35cm
SPEED- about 16mph
TURNING CIRCLE- 0m
GROUND CLEARANCE- virtually 0mm at the front, 10mm at sides and back without skirts, 0mm at sides and back with skirts
ARMOUR- 15mm polycarbonate top and bottom, 3.25mm Hardox armour at sides, front and back
WHEELS- inside robot, 4WD
POWER- 2 X LEM-130s
WEAPONS- The main weapon is the large 180 degree pneumatic axe, very similar to that of Killerhurtz. It operates at 160psi with a rack-and-pinion system like Terrorhurtz. The axe is composed of 3.5mm Hardox, but if anything should happen to it, the robot can use its great pushing power to resort to a Tornado-style tactic - ram to death!
SRIMECH- The axe. Even if it€™s already been fired while flipped, the axe can right itself ala Killerhurtz. The machine also has a rounded back and a red semi-sphere on either side of robot to stop it landing on its side.
NOTES- flies the Scotland flag
STRENGTHS- Fast, dangerous weapon, good amount of traction, difficult to get under, quick srimech, nice and fast
WEAKNESSES- so-so turning
3) Metal Sonic Spin Dash
SHAPE- low skirted box, with fixed front wedge & sloped sides
COLOUR- blue bodywork, with red-and-white striped skirting
WEIGHT- about 100kg
DIMENSIONS- 102cm X 75cm X 20cm
SPEED- 16mph
TURNING CIRCLE- 0m
GROUND CLEARANCE- virtually 0mm at front with spatula, 0mm elsewhere with skirts, 12mm elsewhere without skirts
ARMOUR- 3.75mm Hardox
WHEELS- inside robot, 6WD
POWER- 2 x LEM-130 MagMotors. These will run at 36v and produce approximately 18hp.
WEAPONS- The main weapon here is really the excellent traction, but like all its other incarnations, Spin Dash still maintains its Pussycat-style vertical saw blade, running at 3000rpm. This time, however, the four-clawed spinner sticks halfway out of the front wedge, so that when the wedge/spatula combo bashes underneath an opponent, both the wheels and the underbelly are at the mercy of the saw.
Also features several Mute-style barbs on top to hook onto other robots and let me drag them around the ring
SRIMECH- a rear-hinged arm on top with a basic low-pressure CO2 set-up. Can be used to about 30-40 times and is ONLY used for self-righting in order not to waste the gas supply
NOTES- flies the Scotland flag (though, forgot to add to pic. Shockaroonie!), has F*** Shadow! written on the underbelly in red
STRENGTHS- excellent traction, fast, manoueverable, tough armour, well-skirted, great at getting under everyone else
WEAKNESSES- so-so turning ability, teething troubles?
PICCY HERE- http://img77.imageshack.us/img77/3603/fifthspindashde6.pnghttp://img77.imageshack.us/img77/360...pindashde6.png
4) Whirligig 4.0
SHAPE- flat disc
COLOUR- deep yellow with Mauler-style scary face on top
WEIGHT- about 100kg (see bottom)
DIMENSIONS- 101.6cm diameter X 12.7cm
SPEED- 15mph
TURNING CIRCLE- 0
GROUND CLEARANCE- 4mm
ARMOUR- 1.905 cm thick Grade 5 titanium
FEET- inside robot, uses 4 DrillZilla-style shuffling plates. These help prevent the bot being flung halfway across the ring on contact with another bot, ala Typhoon
POWER- 2 X S28-400s running on 36v. Uses 120 X NiCad cells at 36v, producing 12amps at 36v overall for drive and weapon power
WEAPONS- the main weapon on Whirly 4.0 is a much improved spinning shell. Weighing in at 33.72kg overall, its heavier than before and now boasts 9 Pussycat-style blades - 3 on the top, 3 in the middle and 3 on the bottom, so it can get some scars in nearly all opponents. The shell is now powered by 2 X LEM-130s running at 36v (these lie on their side, so they will fit comfortabely inside Whirly). These produce 2000rpm...and 183 kilojoules. This should be enough to completely obliterate another machine. Or worse.
As well as this, the power in the shuffling feet mean that Whirly can act as a pretty powerful pusher if the shell fails to work
SRIMECH- the robot is invertible and the blades prevent Whirly landing on his side
NOTES- Mauler-style scary face on top and bottom which show direction of robot, flies Scotland flag, my first properly calculated machine
STRENGTHS- fast, manoeuvrable, very deadly weaponry, tough armour, scary face shows its direction, very good traction, cant be flung away on impact as easily as Typhoon
WEAKNESSES- so-so manoeuvrability, feet may prove vulnerable to crushers and axes
5) Clawdius Decimus Murderous
SHAPE- wedge with small box section and high rear wedge
COLOUR- deep green with shield emblazoned on the wedge
WEIGHT- about 100kg
DIMENSIONS- 95cm X 73cm X 70cm (including claw - 35cm without)
SPEED- 13mph
TURNING CIRCLE- 0m
GROUND CLEARANCE- virtually 0mm at the front, 0mm at sides and rear thanks to skirts (arranged in a Biohazard fashion, corner-to-corner), 10mm without
ARMOUR- 5mm Hardox
WHEELS- inside robot, 4-wheel drive
POWER- 2 X S28-300 MagMotors (thanks to Scott here)
WEAPONS- The main weapon is the Razer-style crushing claw, operating at 3000psi (5000 if permitted in certain tournaments), with a nice little diamond-coated tip. Also at the front is a Firestorm-style blade and 2 small €œspears€ to aid in getting under the opposition. Combined with the crusher and the reasonably powerful 4WD, CDM can become an effective pusher/clamper
SRIMECH- Like before, CDM uses a rear-hinged pneumatic arm on either side to self-right. The high-wedged rear also prevents the robot getting perched there
NOTES- flies the Scotland flag, concept of name came from €œGladiator€ (€œMy name is Maximus Decimus Meridius - father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife...but that€™s when I phoned Claims Direct!€Â)
STRENGTHS- Quite nippy, good traction, powerful weapon, difficult to get underneath, fast srimech
WEAKNESSES- so-so manoeuvrability, slow weapon
6) Turbo Tails
SHAPE- short box with front wedge, sloped sides & rounded rear
COLOUR- yellow with the foxs face looking particularly evil on the front slope
WEIGHT- approx 100kg
DIMENSIONS- 90cm X 75cm X 25cm
SPEED- 16mph
TURNING CIRCLE- 0m
GROUND CLEARANCE- approx 0mm at front (titanium blade), 8mm everywhere else
ARMOUR- 3.5mm monocoque Hardox, with 2mm yellow fur over that.
MOVEMENT- 4 inner wheels
POWER- 2 x C40-500 MagMotors. These will run at 36v and produce approximately 12hp.
WEAPONS- Tails chief weapon is the horizontal spinning blade. Now mounted on top, its a bit heavier than before and has Fluffy-style heads instead of the old hammers. Its powered by 2 x LEM-130s running at 36v and has top speeds of around 2500rpm, so its definately just as deadly as before - if not, more so!
SRIMECH- A front forward-hinged arm, powered by a single, low-pressure CO2 ram. Capable of operating just over 30 times per fight. Not used for the offensive unless desperate. Sloped sides and rounded rear also prevent it getting beached.
NOTES- flies the Scotland flag
STRENGTHS- orrible weapon, touger armour, fast, fairly compact, greater pushing power
WEAKNESSES- not quite as manouverable as before, flammability, wholl take it seriously?
PICCY HERE- http://img63.imageshack.us/img63/8014/turbotailsnu8.pnghttp://img63.imageshack.us/img63/8014/turbotailsnu8.png (Will need editing now, methinks )
Please be gentle. :proud:
With turbo tails, Instead of low pressure I would use full pressure for the ram. Why? Because it saves weight and space. With low pressure you need to have a gasbottle, regulator, pressure relief valve high and low pressure, buffertank, 2/2 valve and cilinder. With full pressure you dont need a regulator, only 1 pressure relief valve, and a lot simpeler plumbing than you would with low pressure so saving space. you can use a smaller ram for the same power, which helps too.

Would it be possible for an electric selfrighter to have similar speed to a pneumatic one?
And regarding No Objections, I reread the recommendations Master Andy made, and throw a couple more Magmotors and make it 4WD...few hundred more holes in the frame.
I have a new vapour in the planning stages, and was thinking of using a Briggs and Stratton 11kW motor running at 60v as a lifter.
Thoughts? :)
No Objections: Thanks for clearing that up. Personally I would call it an €˜on the spot spinner€™ but whatever, I think we all understand it. For the motivation, staying with the two wheels would work better for spinning on the spot. I only suggested four wheels as I thought it was a ring spinner at first. What you had before was fine. Otherwise it€™s fine by me.
Wedge Devo: First of all I reckon you could make it a bit smaller in all dimensions. As I mentioned to Chris, stating the composition of your wheels may prevent them being damaged, and stating the tyre gives an indication of traction. I also believe you are using LEM130€™s for drive. LEMCO is just the name of the company that makes them. Unless you want to beef up the flipper (and possibly add more gas) it still looks fine to me.
Killotine EVO: I would go for the Hardox all over, I reckon it is easily do-able. State some battery stats, what you put for Wedge Devo is more than fine by me. How much gas is on board and what are the specs for your ram? Again, its all good to me.
MSSD: Again, give us a few battery details. I am going to presume you would prefer to stay with the saw, but if not, I say go for a drum in its place like I did with Knuckles. Maybe go for an electric self righter rather than pneumatic, which should save weight and space. What powers your saw blade as well?
Whirligig 4.0: Double the ground clearance. The spinning ring is very powerful and possibly too powerful. Personally I would tone the speed of the shell down a little giving an output closer to 100kJ. Possibly get rid of one of the LEM€™s powering the ring as well. Is the armour stated the thickness of the shell or the thickness of the top and bottom armour?
CDM: Change the drive to S28-400 Magmotors. Give a few more specs on the crusher, such as ram size and pump. Making the self-righting arms electric would save a tonne of weight.
Turbo Tails: Again, just a few battery details. The only problem I see is that a few bots may creep under the bar, but I believe the intention is to drive them up the wedge and into it, so that€™s fine. I€™m not sure about the effectiveness of the self-righting arm, it might be worth just investing in some sprung skirts instead. Otherwise, follow what Leo said.
Joey: Arguably, electric flippers/lifters are faster operating than pneumatic ones, so the answer is yes. See above regarding the motors, just stay with the two and no need for holes.
Dan: Do you mean an Etek? Thoughts? Fine, although technically I don€™t think 60v is permitted in some tournaments.
Righty, thanks for the input. I shall go back to the two wheels, do a bad drawing and enter it in something now :proud:
And now lets see where Team Dinowarrior stands.
ORKA MK4

Srimech: It has a pneumatic dorsal fin piston that self-rights the robot, ala Vlad The Impaler.
Inspiration; Ive always liked Orcas. Adding the K made it sound more dangerous.
Strengths; Weapon
Weaknessess: Hard to turn
DIE-CERATOPS RE-INVERTUS

Body Shape: Wheely Big Cheese
Speed; 15mph
TC; 0
GC; 0mm at front, 10mm at sides and back.
Wheels; 4 inner, the back two sticking out only slightly,
Armour; 8mm titanium
Power; 3x 12v batteries, powered by S28-400 Magmotors, at 24v.
Colour; Green, with Killer Carrot style wrinkles, mouth and eyes. One of the eyes has a plaster over it, the other is a black eye. A few bandages are painted on this time.
Weapons: A huge Wheely Big Cheese style pneumatic CO2 flipper, capable of flipping a tonne or so.
Srimech; As the name suggests, the robot runs inverted. Bars prevent side strandings, and the back is rounded, so stranding THAT way is outta the question. The flipper works upside down.
Inspiration; Ive always liked Dinosaurs. This is a pun of Triceratops. The Invertus part is pretty obvious.
Strengths; The ability to work upside down and still be able to use its weapon, now easier to control.
Weaknessess: Facing more agile vapourbots
CYCLONE FORCE 2.5
Weight; 100 kilos
Body Shape; Storm 2 without the wedge (at first, see set-ups for more detail)
Speed; 20mph
TC; 0
GC; Side is 0mm due to skirts. Otherwise, 10mm. See set-ups for front GC
Wheels; 6 inner
Armour; 11mm Titanium.
Power; LEM130s at 36 volts, ala Storm 2. 3x12v batteries.
Colour; A blue-ish grey tone all over.
Weapons; The robot has 3 set-ups...
SET UP 1...An electric lifter device, similar to Storm 2. In theory, it can lift 190 kilos. The front makes a wedge and results in a 0mm GC. However, the wedge is useless upside down.
SET-UP 2...A pair of Kan Opener style, hydraulic claws, with about 4 tonnes of pressure at the tip. Front GC for this and Set-up 3 is 1mm.
SET-UP 3...The most risky approach, A simple bucket scoop, like X-Terminator. The scoop is static, but can get underneath virtually zero ground clearance. Its front is 0mm.
Srimech; The robot runs inverted, the sides are protected by the skirts and back stranding is impossible.
Inspiration; The original Cyclone was named because it is the name of a storm and it sounds threatening. The force came later, after it became a pusher.
Strengths;Raw power
Weaknessess;Limited control.
LEPROSY INFECTION
Weight; 100 kilos
Body Shape; Tetanus Booster
Speed; 18mph
TC; 0
GC; 6mm
Wheels; 4 inner, top sticking out. Hinged mini-skirts hang from the side, and these protect the wheels from low lying discs.
Armour; 7mm titanium
Power; 3x 12v batteries, powered by S28-400 Magmotors. LEM130 motor for the drum.
Colour; A disgusting shade of lime green.
Weapons; A very large, very dangerous vertical drum, capable of reaching speeds of 4000rpm. The teeth on the drum are curved upwards so they can flip as well as damage and very sharp at the tip. There is a reason for this explained below. By the drum are two hindged wedge type devices, which drive oppodents onto the drum.
Srimech; The robot is invertable. Bars along the side and back prevent stranding. The wheel flaps, both on top and bottom, are set so the robot can still run inverted without getting stranded. Once upside down, the teeth of the drum gouge out robot parts.
Inspiration; Named after the disease which causes the skin to flake and fingers and toes to drop off...namely because the robot does something similar. The basic idea came from an episode of The Simpsons.
Strengths; Drum, control is pretty good
Weaknessess; Wheels may be vulnerable to axes
MEGA MASHER 2
Weight: 100 kilos
Body Shape: Minion with skirts.
Speed: 12mph
TC: 0
GC; 0 at front, 1mm at sides due to skirts, 10mm underneath.
Wheels; 4 inner.
Armour: A nice 3.25mm Hardox
Power: 3x 12v batteries, plus Bosch 750s at 36v.
Colour: Red and yellow.
Weapons; The front is a wedge, and the back has a nasty vertical disc, powered by its own LEM130 motor and spinning at 2000 rpm. It can probably flip as well as damage. A side Minion style bar, pneumatic CO2 powered, comes out from the side.
Srimech: The aforementioned bar rights the robot, even though it can run inverted.
Inspiration; This is probably the only robot I have where I have had no inspiration. It just came as a good name.
Strengths: Power, weaponary
Weaknessess: A little bulky, not as heavy as the body would suggest.
Y4
Weight: 99 kilos
Body Shape: T-Minus
Speed: 16mph
TC: 0
GC: 8mm, but the flipper blade reaches 0.
Wheels: 2 semi outer (that means theyre protected)
Armour: 5mm steel on body, 9mm titanium on wheelguards.
Power: The usual 3x 12v batteries and couple Magmotors (S28-400s) for power.
Colour: Grey
Weapons: An extremely powerful pneumatic CO2 flipper (Try 300 kilos+). Can perform about 30 or so flips before it starts weakening.
Srimech: The flipper acts as srimech. It can also be used as gymnastics. A light flip will knock the robot back over, but pressing hard on the button will send the robot into a 540 degree spin before landing, or a Matador style bound in mid air. All prperly controlled, of course. The robot can also run inverted, so if it gets too close to the arena wall, it should be OK.
Inspiration: A quote from a cartoon. Taz-mania, I believe.
Strengths: Powerful flipper, very entertaining.
Weaknessess: Semi exposed wheels.
AXE-O-LOTL
Weight: 100 kilos
Body Shape: Comengetorix
Speed: 20mph
TC: 0
GC: 6mm
Wheels: 4 inner
Armour: 3.25mm Hardox all around.
Power: Same stuff as Storm 2 and Cyclone Force uses.
Colour: Has interchangable panels. One set is pure black, the other pure white with pink tinges.
Weapons: A very nasty pneumatic axe, with the power of Dominator 2. The head is diamond tipped, and the whole weapon is VERY persistant. It can fire about 40 times in one fight.
Srimech: The axe rights the robot. The robots body is designed so it cant be side stranded.
Inspiration: My favourite amphibian, the axolotl.
Strengths: Powerful weaponary
Weaknessess: Obviously a limited CO2 supply.
OBLITERATION
Weight: 100 kilos
Body Shape: Low, Circular machine, a bit like Gyrobot from Robot Wars Series 7.
Speed: 10mph
TC: 0
GC: 10mm all the way round. It has to be.
Wheels: 8 inner (4 on top, 4 below)
Armour: 7mm titanium
Power: It drives on 3x 12v batteries plus a couple of Magmotors (S28-400s). For the weaponary, its another LEM130 motor.
Colour: Dark blue with tinges of black and brown.
Weapons: This robot is a ring spinner. The teeth are increibally sharp. It spins at about 1000 rpm, and does damage similar to Phrizbee.
Srimech: This robot runs inverted.
Inspiration: It sounded cool. It also sounds like a ride at an amusment park, if you ask me.
Strengths: Body! Need I say more?
Weaknessess: Unknown Quality.
CRASH BANDI-BOT 3
WEIGHT: 100 kilos
Body Shape: A box with a wedge at the front and an inverted wedge at the back. About a metre long, point 3 of a metre wide and point 2 of a metre high.
Speed: 16mph.
TC: 0.
GC: 6mm all over except wedge, which meets at 0.
Wheels: 4 inner.
Armour: 8mm Titanium.
Power: 3x 12v batteries, plus Magmotors (S28-400s).
Colour: Orange.
Weapons: The mini wedge sports a nasty rear hindged, pneumatic CO2 flipper. Also, the back wedge, which contains a weapon of its own, a pneumatic spike, ala Spawn Of Scutter.
Srimech: Crash runs inverted, and the sides stick out to prevent side-stranding. When upside down, the wedge at the back allows Crash to continue attacking, thanks to the spike.
Inspiration: My old video-game friend, Crash Bandicoot.
Notes: Says WOAH! whenever you hit his face (painted on his flipper) thanks to a sound-system inside. WOAH!, of course, being Crashs catchphrase.
Strengths: Very manuverable.
Weaknesses: Tengu! Crash STILL hasnt forgiven him after the last time they met.
SPRING-BOK!
Weight: 100 kilos
Body Shape: Firestorm.
Speed: 12mph
TC: 0.
GC: 0 at front, 7mm at sides.
Wheels: 2 inner.
Armour: 8mm titanium, covered in 2mm orange fur.
Power: 3x 12v batteries, powered by a couple of Magmotors (S28-400s).
Colour: Orange, thanks to the fur.
Weapons: A launch pad. Heres how it works...basically, the robots drive up the wedge, then the front panel, which is attached to four large car springs, fires outwards via hydraulics. A miniture piston device is attached to the panel to prevent it getting fired off, and also re-sets it. Should that fail, it does have a back-up plan (see notes).
Srimech: Two arms that extend around the side of the body, a bit like that of Philliper, only bottom hinged rather than top hinged, act as the Srimech.
Inspiration: Its named after an antelope.
Notes: This is the re-make of the former comedy yet highly sucessful robot Fluffitor, who won a previous Children In Need special. Has an in-built police siren which it activates if the going gets tough. The idea is that the oppodent will think hes about to be arrested then run off.
Strengths: Experience, unique weapon.
Weaknesses: Untested, Flammable, back-up plan probably wont work.
I think thatll suffice for now. Youll have to bear with me, Im still new to this high definition, high description stuff. Ill contact you guys again if I need more help.
Looking alright for the most part :) If theyre about the same size as the robots you say theyre like, you could just use their dimensions, but I dont think the lack of them really impedes our understanding of things very much.
Can anyone give me your views on my latest design?
BAR-RED
€ WEIGHT: 100kg
€ ARMOUR: 5mm Titanium around the sides, and on the top is
€ SHAPE: A low cylinder shape.
€ MOTORS: 2 x S28-400 MagMotors at 36V = 12HP
€ LOCOMOTION: 4 Vulkanised Wheels.
€ DIMENSIONS: (L) 70CM (H) 10CM (W) 70CM
€ COLOUR: Black for the body, and the bar is red.
€ WEAPONRY: The weapon is a bar weighing 20kg, made out of 10mm Titanium, with 2 x 1kg Hardox blocks. The bar is 90cm long and powered by 2 x S28-400 MagMotors at 36V - allowing a spinning speed of 3000rpm. Incase I€™m flipped over, I have an actuator on the bar, electrically powered by a 750 24V Bosch motor.
€ SPEED: 13mph
€ GROUND CLEARANCE: The ground clearance all around is 5mm.
€ STRENGTH: Very dangerous weaponry.
€ WEAKNESS: Unknown.
On the top is...2mm carboard? A small stuffed crocodile? :proud:
Otherwise looks pretty good - Im not sure if you could fit the motor for the self righter in there, but looking good.
With thanks to AJ, Leo and Joey (Hooray, got it right! :proud:), Ive done a bit of tinkering with my stats and produced this:
WEDGE DEVOLUTION
SHAPE- low wedge with sloped rear
COLOUR- sleek and shiny silver
WEIGHT- about 100kg
DIMENSIONS- 90cm X 75cm X 30cm
SPEED- 16mph
TURNING CIRCLE- 0
GROUND CLEARANCE- 0mm at the front, 7mm for the rest of the robot. Fitted with Biohazard-style skirts on sides and rear, giving 0mm
ARMOUR- 4mm Hardox
WHEELS- inside robot, 4-wheel drive
POWER- 2 X LEM-130s; 2 x 12v 3amp NiCad packs, giving 36v @ 12amp
WEAPONS- As usual, the main weapon is a rear-hinged flipper. This is very similar to Chaos 2, except the blade at the bottom is bent ala Bigger Brother, allowing the flipper to have greater effect against bots with skirts or low centres of gravity. The flipper itself is powered by 2 X 80mm high pressure pneumatic rams, each running at 250psi. This should allow Wedge Devo to comfortably flip up to 1 tonne.
WEAKNESSES- could prove a bit tricky to control, limited CO2 (like all other flippers :P)
KILLOTINE: EVO
SHAPE- compact box-wedge ala Storm 2, rounded back
COLOUR- red
WEIGHT- about 100kg
DIMENSIONS- 100cm X 70cm X 35cm
SPEED- 16mph
TURNING CIRCLE- 0m
GROUND CLEARANCE- virtually 0mm at the front with spatula, 10mm at sides and back. Skirts at sides and back produce 0mm.
ARMOUR- 3.25mm Hardox
WHEELS- inside robot, 4WD
POWER- 2 X LEM-130s; 2 x 12v 3amp NiCad packs, giving 36v @ 12amp
WEAPONS- The main weapon is the large pneumatic axe, composed of 3.5mm hardox. It is very similar to that of Killerhurtz and operates with a rack-and-pinion system like Terrorhurtz. Running on 160psi, the axe runs off an 80mm X 20mm ram and stores its gas in a 2kg main bottle and 1kg buffertank. If anything goes wrong with the axe, Killotine can use its great pushing power to simply ram its opponents to death.
SRIMECH- The axe. Even if it€™s already been fired while flipped, the axe can right itself ala Killerhurtz. Also, just like the original Killotine, the machine has a rounded back and a red semi-sphere on either side of robot to stop it getting beached.
NOTES- flies the Scotland flag, thanks to Tom, Aaron & AJ for helping with the design
STRENGTHS- Fast, dangerous weapon, good amount of traction, difficult to get under, quick srimech, nice and fast
WEAKNESSES- so-so turning, limited gas supply
METAL SONIC SPIN DASH
SHAPE- low skirted box, with fixed front wedge & sloped sides
COLOUR- blue bodywork, with red-and-white striped skirting
WEIGHT- about 100kg
DIMENSIONS- 102cm X 75cm X 20cm
SPEED- 16mph
TURNING CIRCLE- 0m
GROUND CLEARANCE- virtually 0mm at front with spatula, 0mm elsewhere with skirts, 12mm elsewhere without skirts
ARMOUR- 3.75mm Hardox
WHEELS- inside robot, 6WD
POWER- 2 x LEM-130s; 11 x A123 packs. Runs at 36v and produces approximately 18hp.
WEAPONS- The main weapon here is really the excellent traction, but like all its other incarnations, Spin Dash still maintains its Pussycat-style vertical circular saw. The saw is powered by an S28-150 MagMotor and runs at 3000rpm.
SRIMECH- a rear-hinged arm on top. Powered by an S28-400 MagMotor geared 250:1 for quick and easy self-righting.
NOTES- flies the Scotland flag, thanks to AJ, has F*** Shadow! written on the underbelly in red :proud:
STRENGTHS- excellent traction, fast, manoueverable, tough armour, well-skirted, great at getting under everyone else
WEAKNESSES- so-so turning ability
WHIRLIGIG 4.5 (sort of formerly Whirligig 4.0)
SHAPE- flat disc
COLOUR- gold with Mauler-style scary face on top. The face shows the direction of the robot.
WEIGHT- about 100kg (see bottom)
DIMENSIONS- 101.6cm diameter X 12.7cm
SPEED- 15mph
TURNING CIRCLE- 0
GROUND CLEARANCE- 8mm
ARMOUR- 1.905 cm thick Grade 5 titanium
FEET- inside robot, uses 4 DrillZilla-style shuffling plates. These help prevent the bot being flung halfway across the ring on contact with another bot, ala Typhoon
POWER- 2 X S28-400s running on 36v. Uses 120 X NiCad cells at 36v, producing 12amps at 36v overall for drive and weapon power
WEAPONS- The main weapon on Whirligig is the spinning outer ring, fitted with 9 x Pussycat-style claws. The spinner is powered by an LEM-130 running at 36v. It can reach speeds of 1000rpm and produce up to 100kJ...more than enough to kill another bot at full speed.
As well as this, the power in the shuffling feet mean that Whirly can act as a pretty powerful pusher if the shell fails to work
SRIMECH- the robot is invertible and the blades prevent Whirly landing on his side
NOTES- flies Scotland flag, thanks to AJ, my first properly calculated machine
STRENGTHS- fast, manoeuvrable, very deadly weaponry, tough armour, scary face shows its direction, very good traction, cant be flung away on impact as easily as Typhoon
WEAKNESSES- so-so manoeuvrability, feet may prove vulnerable to crushers and axes
WEIGHT CHECK:
armour = 33.72kg (inc blades)
chassis, mounts, bracing etc = about 30kg
drive and weapon motors = 12kg overall
NiCads = about 15kg
feet = about 10kg overall
TOTAL WEIGHT = 100.72kg. Fits right into the roller limit, with the 1% error margin rule. :)

E CLAWDIUS UNUM (formerly Clawdius Decimus Murderous)
SHAPE- skirted wedge with small box section and rounded back
COLOUR- deep green with red shield emblazoned on the wedge, depicting a gold lion with a crown
WEIGHT- about 100kg
DIMENSIONS- 95cm X 70cm X 40cm
SPEED- 14mph
TURNING CIRCLE- 0m
GROUND CLEARANCE- virtually 0mm at the front, 0mm at sides and rear thanks to skirts (arranged in a Biohazard fashion, corner-to-corner), 10mm without
ARMOUR- 4mm Hardox
WHEELS- inside robot, 4-wheel drive
POWER- 2 X S28-400 MagMotors; 8 x A123 cells for 26.4v
WEAPONS- The main weapon, as ever, is the hydraulic diamond-tipped crushing claw. It is powered by a Vivoil pump with an 80mm x 40mm ram, with a 2kg tank for storing the hydraulics. The claw runs at 3000psi and, aided by the diamond tip, should be able to leave plenty of holes in another robot.
The front wedge also features a Firestorm-style blade and two flat spears to aid in getting under the opposition. The wedge itself is now home to several Mute-style barbs to help ensnare other robots.
SRIMECH- A rear-hinged pneumatic arm on either side, powered by a pair of linear actuators. The rounded rear also prevents the robot getting beached.
NOTES- flies the Scotland flag, thanks to AJ, et tu, Brute? written on the underbelly
STRENGTHS- Quite nippy, good traction, powerful weapon, difficult to get underneath, fairly quick srimech
WEAKNESSES- so-so manoeuvrability
http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/1801/eclawdiusunumor1.pnghttp://img137.imageshack.us/img137/1...iusunumor1.png
TURBO TAILS
SHAPE- short box with front wedge, sloped sides & rounded rear
COLOUR- yellow with the foxs face looking particularly evil on the front slope
WEIGHT- approx 100kg
DIMENSIONS- 100cm X 75cm X 25cm
SPEED- 16mph
TURNING CIRCLE- 0m
GROUND CLEARANCE- approx 0mm at front (titanium blade), 8mm everywhere else
ARMOUR- 3.5mm monocoque Hardox, with 2mm yellow fur over that.
MOVEMENT- 4 inner wheels
POWER- 2 x C40-500 MagMotors; 11 x A123 cells for 36.3v. Can produce approximately 12hp.
WEAPONS- Tails chief weapon is the horizontal spinning blade. Now mounted on top, its a bit heavier than before and has Fluffy-style heads instead of the old hammers. Its powered by an LEM-130 running at 36v and has top speeds of around 2500rpm, so its definately just as deadly as before - if not, more so!
The front wedge also hosts a forward-hinged flipping arm, powered by an 80mm x 20mm full-pressure CO2 ram. The arm operates at 750psi, giving it a fair bit of oomph, and stores its gas in a 2kg main bottle. Capable of just over 30 fires per fight.
SRIMECH- The flipper. Sloped sides and rounded rear also prevent it getting beached.
NOTES- flies the Scotland flag, thanks to AJ
STRENGTHS- weapons synergy, touger armour, fast, fairly compact, greater pushing power
WEAKNESSES- not quite as manouverable as before, flammability, wholl take it seriously? :proud:

As ever, opinions are much appreciated. :)

2 x magmotor + 11x A123 cells = dead A123 cells. you need more in parralel than that for the cells to survive. I wouldnt try anything less than 5 of those packs in parralel.
You can thank AJ for the battery info. :proud:
A123 is a good choice for weight, but a bit dull for vapours. They cant catch fire, dont explode, they just die. :)
To be on the safe/real side, divide the amount of nominal amps you require by 30, and that is roughly the amount of packs you need. the 70A A123 projects as nominal amperage for their cells is not realistic, you should take that as the maximum current for short bursts.
So even 5 packs is pushing it.
Sorry about my stats. Ill just correct the armour issue:
ARMOUR: 5mm Titanium around the sides, and on the top is 9mm Titanium.
Very rough draft of new Supreme Glory - any immediate problems with it?
Name: Supreme Glory Omega
Weight: 200kg
Armour: 4mm Hardox on bottom half of the shell and 6mm Titanium on top half of the shell.
Speed: 10mph
Shape: A flattened cylinder like Tempest with removable Titanium skirts. The bottom half is slightly bigger than the top half.
Weapon 1: An 8kg Hardox axe, similar in shape to Excalibur, powered by liquid Nitrogen via a rack and pinion system running at 1000psi.
Strengths: Strong armour and devastating weaponry.
Weaknesses: Limited Nitrogen supply on board, but should be enough for a whole battle.
Ground Clearance: 0mm when skirts are used, 7mm when no skirts used.
Srimech: The axe self rights the robot.
Notes: This robot is a walker robot and runs off 4 x S28-400 MagMotors running at 24v, giving the robot an approx top speed of 10mph. The robot has 6 legs (3 either side) and walks in the same fashion as Pressure Drop from Battlebots (tri-gauge mechanism ensuring that 3 legs are on the ground at any given time). The shell of the robot is circular, and the Hardox section is designed as an anti-spinner device. It is a free moving piece of armour when, if hit by any kinetic weaponry, will transfer the energy and spin without damaging the robot itself. The axe is powered by a direct rack and pinion drive, and has a 100mm stroke, 80mm bore pneumatic cylinder. This means the axe has roughly 35 hits per fight (4kg of liquid Nitrogen on board) and should hit with approximately 2 tonnes of force at the tip of the axe. Hopefully, the axe should be ruthless enough to knock opponents out in one hit ala The Judge vs No Apologies. In order to stop the machine from bouncing around after firing the axe, SGO still uses the vacuum system to suck it to the ground. This can be switched on and off during the match.
Er, dare I say it? What batteries does it use? :proud:
Also, how is the free-roaming piece of armour attached to the chassis/other armour and what is the attaching part comprised of?
Just my two cents. :)
The Hardox armouring is free-moving, meaning that although it is connected to the robot, it is free to spin around freely. The attaching part is a 4mm Hardox tube which the Hardox armouring slips over. This is opsitioned in the middle of the robot.
The above would be much easier if I had a diagram.
In terms of batteries, the robot has 6 x 24v 3600mAh NiCD Battlepacks.
that is a shuffler not walker, there is a difference
All right, Craig, what would you classify as a true walker?
as i said before a walker has 2 movements on each leg eg Mechadon
a shuffler has a rotation to move its legs aka a cam mechanisum, same as scuttle and pressure drop
a true walker pics its leg up (movement 1) and swings it (movement 2) the first actuator for movement one drops the leg and the second actuator pulls the weight of the machine
shufflers should only get 50% more not 100% some would argue they shouldnt get 50% at all as they use rotation to walk and then its basiclly just an off centre wheel and that doesnt make it a walker
still, in the world of vapourbots, mostly walkers are allowed to weigh 150 kg max (and 110 kg for shufflers)
