Round 1 Battle 1
Turbo Tails (12) vs. Mousey 4 vs. Crash Bandi-bot 3
Representing Steven McGregor and Team Braveheart: Turbo Tails! It€™s the 12th seed of our tournament and is hoping to get further than that. It€™s got a rear spinning blade powered by two LEM130 motors, giving some serious force! It also has a front lifter mainly used as a srimech if flipped, and it has 3.5mm hardox armour under the 2mm orange fur to ward off attacks. Its boxy shape contains C40-500 MagMotors to give it a nippy speed of 16mph. It looks comical...but that€™s exactly what it wants you to think! :proud:
C&BT1: Kicked the crap out of Dante in a judges€™ decision, and then tossed Megabyte out of the arena. However, a thrashing by 4th seed Aneurysm stopped its progress for the crown in the Heat E final.
Representing Martyn Forsyth and Team€¦Slag(:proud:?): Mousey 4! It€™s, of course, shaped like a mouse, but with a front wedge where the face would be. On that wedge is a CO2-powered flipper and two front-hinged flippers on the sides to get it off of walls. Its S28-400 provide ample power enough to give it a 13mph top speed, and it has 5mm G5 titanium under the blue fur (3mm) that is used to clog disc and blade axles. It has a ground clearance of 6mm at the sides and rear though, so it can be flipped. Will the Mousey be squashed? :proud:

Representing Christopher Mason and Team Dinowarrior: Crash Bandi-bot 3! Inspired by Crash Bandicoot, its MagMotors drive it at 16mph, with 4 inner wheels. Crash also has 8mm titanium for armour, so you€™d be hard put to damage it. As for the shape, it€™s a box with a front wedge and a rear inverted wedge, like Rammstein, Bad Attitude, and Jabberwock. It also has a front flipper that is hooked up to a sound system, playing €˜WOAH!€™ when getting hit. It runs inverted, thus meaning its wheels are vulnerable to axes. Will Crash crash€¦and burn? :proud:

ACTIVATE!
Crash Bandi-bot and Turbo Tails, faster than Mousey, react quicker, and both head for the mousebot. Martyn is peeved at the team-up against him, but decides to fly at Crash first, and both flippers meet. Hey! Mousey€™s flipper gets under Crash€™s, and FLIP! Over goes the Playstation mascotbot. Tails turns and exposes the rear spinning blade, but Mousey is chasing down Crash who has moved away from the peril of the blade and turning around rams Mousey€™s flipper with the rear wedge, now functional. It€™s unable to get under Mousey€™s flipper, though, and the mouse carries Crash to the wall...and doesn€™t flip. He seems to be trying to turn and drive to Ancalagon€™s CPZ...Ancalagon spews a burst of flame as he watches the competitors fighting near the zone. Tails flies straight at Mousey, who has finally got Crash off the wall. Chris knows what€™s about to happen and frantically works the controls but Mousey finally gives the audience what they want: a flip! FLIP! Crash goes sailing right on top of Ancalagon! Just in time, too, as Tails has caught up with Mousey and smashed it!

Mousey is pounded into the wall, and Tails is sent for a loop, but apart from blue fur flying all over the place, Mousey seems to be okay. Obelix flies out of his CPZ as Ancalagon drives forward a bit, toppling Crash off his back, so he can turn and attack Crash. Crash tries to make a break for it, but ends up driving straight into Obelix, who sends him back into the CPZ! BANG! The hammer pounds down onto the 8mm titanium top armour of Crash, severely denting it! But what€™s coming after is even worse: one of Ancalagon€™s discs striking Crash!

I couldn€™t have put it better myself. :proud: Crash flies into the air, but not quite over the wall, tilting off the railing and...stacked up against the wall. Mousey meanwhile has driven right into Tails and stopping the blade got under and FLIP! Tails is inverted! However, it rights itself using the front flipper. Mousey is right there, though, and (FLIP!) tosses it right back over into an empty CPZ! Tails rights itself can before Mousey can attack again, and is desperation turns to use the srimech as its weapon...and it works. FLIP! Mousey is inverted, but falls onto its side! It also rights itself, and decides to attack Tails again, but notices the blade back up to speed and pointing right at him, so he now reverses gears going after Crash in the CPZ. Ancalagon€™s jaws open, and he€™s now got Crash, whose side has been gashed up badly by that earlier disc hit, in the jaws. Obelix hammers Crash again. BANG! The top panel is caving in! Mousey bursts in from nowhere and getting under an occupied Obelix tries to flip it...no luck. Tails hammers Mousey in the rear.

Mousey hardly moves, but Tails is sent back a bit. More fur flies, and still Mousey takes the hit most unlike a mouse. :proud: Ancalagon however has released Crash...who isn€™t able to move! Mousey gets lout from under Obelix, and goes for Crash. Obelix turns to him and brings down the hammer but misses (CLANG!), and (FLIP!) Mousey tosses Crash against the wall and stacks him. Chris hangs his head, the controls aren€™t working at all, and Steve lays off, knowing that Crash is dead, and Mousey saves him the trouble by giving it a flight over the fence courtesy of the flipper. FLIP!

Spawn Again vs. Son of Wedgie vs. A Night at the Bar
Representing Anthony Politzi and Team Hitmen is a real robot: Spawn Again! It€™s got a very potent rear-hinged flipper, and it€™s used it to devastating effect in Series 5, 6, and 7, reaching the Series Semi-Finals many times. However, its armour is average, and it has reliability problems, not to mention its flipper being very unstable, the rams exploding in Series 7. Will Spawn Again be forced to spawn...again? :proud:
C&BT1: Totally destroyed by Infusion Beta in Heat G Round 1.
Representing David Sheppard and Team Solarized: Son of Wedgie! A wedge, obviously, with an inverted wedge on it to stop other bots going over the top, and a rounded rear, with rollbars on the sides to prevent strandings. Its monocoque armour is comprised of 5mm steel bars with 4mm titanium welded to that, and 18mm steel triangles in the corners to give it some reinforcement. It has a low-pressure rear-hinged flipper that can give 40 big flips in the fight. Its C40-500 MagMotors give it a speed of 28mph, though it usually goes at half that speed, but overall, this bot is just above-average. Which isn€™t bad. :proud:

Representing Martijn Benschop and Team Varying Every Day: A Night at the Bar! It€™s an axlebot with a horizontal spinning bar! It sounds weird, but it works quite well. It€™s powered by a BFA42-500 MagMotor (since B42s don€™t exist :proud:) and spins at 2000rpm, giving out 55kJ of force upon impact. The upper part of Bar is 4.5mm hardox, and the lower part is 5mm hardox to balance the weight. If flipped, the bar will stop spinning to prevent it from hitting the floor. S28-400s power the drive to 15mph, but it looks very unstable, and as Martijn puts it, a €˜rocking chair on steroids€™. :proud:

Son of Wedgie is the first to head out, and meets Spawn Again. Both flippers collide, but neither get under the other. A Night at the Bar barges into the crossfire and puts a massive hit on Son of Wedgie!
CRASH!!!
The 4mm titanium is rocked, great chunks ripped right out! The bar stops immediately as Bar goes flying backwards, and Son of Wedgie has hardly moved at all! This is good news for Spawn Again as it penetrates the front flipper of Son of Wedgie, and (FLIP!) tosses it onto its back! Son of Wedgie does not right itself yet, and Dave waits for Spawn Again to approach it. Tony isn€™t fooled, and simply waits for Bar to come back, and Martijn smiles widely as the weapon spins up to speed. Dave is apprehensive and the flipper fires, sending it right onto Spawn Again€™s flipper...and tumbles off! Ooh, but caught! FLIP! The flipper catches Son of Wedgie and tips it right over! Bar swerves around Spawn Again and puts another massive hit on Son of Wedgie!
CRASH!!!
Son of Wedgie goes flying as does Bar, the 5mm steel ladder chassis absorbing the blow somewhat this time around, but Spawn Again has him now, and getting under him gets him to the arena wall...and FLIP! Out goes Son of Wedgie! Dave is quite rejected, but Tony throws up his fist in victory.

Turbo Tails (12) vs. Spawn Again: Spawn Agains average armour could prove to be very costly when Tails slices it up with the spinning bar.
A Night at the Bar vs. Mousey 4: The fur of Mousey is only good at jamming up discs. The bar will just hit and hit and hit because of its shape. GO MARTIJN!!
Heat Final: I reckon the Heat Final will be Turbo Tails (12) vs. A Night At The Bar with TURBO TAILS (12) winning via pitting.

Spawn Again VS TURBO TAILS (12)
Spawn Agains a pretty big machine, so I wont be aiming for anywhere in particular. Just stay away from the flipper, keep outmanouevering it and smack the sides or rear with the spinning bar. If Im feeling very brave near the end, Ill try coaxing the flipper open and spinning round to slice up the rams - but only if Im way on top or times running out. :wink:

Turbo Tails (12) vs. Spawn Again
Turbo Tails went after Mousey 4 with Crash Bandi-bot 3, but was unable to prevent Crash from being destroyed by the house robots.
Spawn Again sent veteran Son of Wedgie right over the fence, after A Night at the Bar smacked it twice with its weapon.

Spawn Again flies across the arena to get at the seed, and Tails JUST gets away, but Spawn Again turns and chases after the rear, which is home to that deadly blade, spinning up to speed! Spawn Again, right at the rear!
CRASH!!
Not fully spun-up, but it€™s a hit nonetheless, as Spawn is rocked a little, but nothing too serious. Spawn now gets under the rear of the obviously flustered Tails, and tosses it onto its back! FLIP! Tails activates the self-righter, but right back onto Spawn Again€™s wedge, and now Spawn is taking them to the wall...OH, BUT TAILS FALLS OFF THE WEDGE! Spawn Again turning, not wanting the battle to escape his grasp, but Tails has, running away to spin up the blade! Spawn Again is again chasing the Sega-bot down and Tails is on the move, wanting to stay away from that flipper regardless of spinning weapon or not! Spawn Again does a nifty little spin and backs towards the wall - oh, he€™s hit the pit release button! Tails comes in and just misses the pit as it opens, coming at Spawn€™s side with the tails! Spawn Again turns to point the flipper at the 12th seed and gets a load of blade!
CRASH!!!
WOAH! Great hit! That flipper is looking banged right up, I€™m surprised it hasn€™t been ripped off, but Tails has been sent flying away from the wall that he pounded Spawn against! Spawn slowly moves towards the seed, yes much more slowly, I think that attack has done something to the drivetrain, which is not good at all. Tails now fearlessly heads right at the flipper with the wedge, and getting under it slams Spawn Again into the wall. No flip, but a pin on the wall as the blade gets up to speed! ...FLIP! There we go. The srimech tosses Spawn Again over...who seems unable to self-right! Tails turns and exposes the deadly €˜tails€™ spinning weapon again! Spawn Again can€™t resist the hit!
CRASH!!!
Spawn is knocked back quite a distance away, right across from the CPZ and against the wall! Tails comes back for the inverted, beaten Series 7 heat finalist but it€™s no longer a battle anymore, as the flipper is dead, and so seems to be Spawn Again, as the wheels are not turning. The Watcher has finally had enough, and so begins the countdown to Spawn€™s death!

And out go the Spawn Again boys, as well as Tony, who is quite rejected, but Tails parks himself right back in the spot he started at the beginning, and watches as Tira and Whamlet close in on Spawn Again...Whamlet rams the inverted flipper, grabs it and stacks it against the wall and WHACK! Down come the twin axes onto Spawn Again€™s armour, puncturing it badly! Tira isn€™t going to be left out and hurriedly buries the disc in.
CRASH!!!
Spawn Again, covered in emerald and violet sparks, is mashed against the wall, and strangely enough tilts off the wall and back onto his wheels...but again unable to move, and that last hit just tore open his left side completely! Whamlet has had his fill of action, and grappling with the Spawn machine takes over to the pit and dumps it in. BOOM!

Spawn Again did a bit better, but that€™s not good enough!

A Night at the Bar vs. Mousey 4
A Night at the Bar smacked Son of Wedgie around two times with that deadly bar before Spawn Again sent it over the fence with a single flip.
Mousey 4 single-handedly defeated Crash Bandi-bot 3 by feeding it to house bots early, and then brawling with Turbo Tails until Crash was counted out.

We have our own gruesome twosome in the form of Exa-Gore-Ic: AI, with the pincer pair at the front and rear, and Double Big Mac, with the 4 duo spinning hammers!

ACTIVATE!!
Quick off the start is Mousey 4, charging headlong into A Night at the Bar, and actually stopping the bar before it gets up to speed! This is most unexpected! FLIP! Bar is tossed back into the arena wall and Mousey continues his charge even during the toss, and pins him against the arena wall! Now remember, you can only hold your opponent for 30 seconds, and once that time has elapsed, you must release your opponent, and here comes The Watcher, letting Mousey know the golden rule! :proud: FLIP! Mousey tosses Bar into the air but NOT out, for Bar is launched quite linear into the air and comes back down onto the upraised flipper, sliding off the side and back onto the floor, and into the match! Mousey turns right around, and lowering the flipper comes flying at Bar again. Martijn manoeuvres his bot away from Mousey and its flipper, and careens along the arena wall! Oh! Would you look at that! He€™s nicked the pit release button with his wheel, only slightly, but opening the pit nonetheless, and hardly losing any drive speed! Very good driving from the Dutch roboteer. :proud: Mousey looks tentative, pensive, apparently not sure how to come at Bar now that the blade is spun up! He€™s too busy coming up with a plan that he fails to notice the arena saws lifting him up and sending him backwards a little, with some nice sparks during that! Bar comes forward, weapon up to full capability, and slams right into the left side of Mousey!
CRASH!!!
Ooh, nasty blow! But the hardox survives it while the blue fur is ripped everywhere! :proud: Mousey is not moved at all by the hit but Bar because of its instability launches himself backwards, as Mousey takes the chance and flies right into the axlebot, and slides under the middle immediately! FLIP! Bar goes tospy-turvy, aaaand...twisting right side up! The weight balance is quite effective! Mousey is still the persistent one, and in my books on top here as he barrels into the axlebot once more - oh! Bar escapes! This is interesting...now that blade is getting back up to speed...Mousey turns and backs into Bar, who retreats away, because the weapon is not fully spun up yet. Bar turns, but Mousey just backs into the wheel and tries to push, but can€™t really push him sideways...and that gives Bar an excellent opportunity to smash him with the blade, which he takes and turning into the right side, strikes!
CRASH!!!
More fur gone, and this time some armour gone too!!! Gash opened in the right side panel! Mousey is twisted around, and Bar backs off to spin up the weapon again but Mousey is at him again...Mousey looks quite durable right now, amazing that it can take that punishment and shrug it off - oh, and Bar gets tossed again! (FLIP!) Of course this hardly means much due to Bar being an axlebot, but Mousey scores more points for aggression! Bar has shaken off the nice little toss now, and is spinning up his weapon again...Mousey backs up towards the spinner and Bar plows into him full force!
CRASH!!!
OOH!!! The back panel of Mousey is completely ripped off, fur and all flying! Martyn seems to be shocked at this, and Martijn displays a wide grin on his face, though Bar has been launched again by his own force. Mousey is coming after Bar again, refusing to fall here, and Bar retreats again, but Mousey gets him at the wall and FLIP! OH! No go! Bar almost did an S3 but managed to stay in the arena AND HE JUST MISSED THE PIT!!! What a close shave! Mousey is turning up the heat still, relentlessly coming after Bar and ramming him, but evades it, blade now at full speed, and strikes Mousey in the right side again!
CRASH!!!
OH! They€™re stuck! The blade of A Night at the Bar has inserted itself into the previous gash of Mousey, and is jammed right in! Neither robot can get free of the other! Exa-Gore-Ic decides to play referee this time and rams both bots, right near the CPZ, trying to free the bar...and does! Bar is free now and spinning up that blade...and Mousey isn€™t looking good! It€™s going in circles! But time is running out for Bar!

THE WHOLE PANEL HAS BEEN RIPPED RIGHT OFF! The mechanics of Mousey are horribly exposed! But can Bar take advantage now, flung away by his own force yet again?

Mousey is STILL moving, only in circles, but still mobile! Bar spins around randomly.

Bar flies across the arena and rams into Mousey, who finally stops moving, but...

A Night at the Bar VS TURBO TAILS (12)
Kamikaze time! Charge straight at ANatB to stop the spinner, maybe getting some fur caught in it in the process. With the blade halted, the plan will be to charge straight back in and use my superior pushing power to dump it in with the House Robots or down the pit.
If the oppertunity arises, however, I wouldnt say no to giving one of those wheels a whack with my own bar.

Turbo Tails (12) vs. A Night at the Bar
Turbo Tails (12) went through Round 1 with Mousey 4, after Crash Bandi-bot WOAHed itself out of the tournament, and then took out Spawn Again without too much difficulty.
A Night at the Bar helped Spawn Again take out respected veteran Son of Wedgie, and then narrowly defeated Mousey 4 in a judges decision.

Off the mark we are! And so is Tails as he charges straight for A Night at the Bar, who tries to get out of the way in time but no chance here!
CRASH!
A rather weak hit by the blade sends Bar skidding backwards a little, allowing Tails to get some leverage and scoop under the middle of Bar, and slams it in the wall! WHAM! Bar is slammed up, and on top of Tails, and his immobile weapon comes into contact with Tails€™ fully spinning own!
CRASH!!!
Bar is sent back over the front of Tails but into the wall, but not taking any damage at all from that huge hit! Tails activates the srimech and pops Bar into the air, possibly trying to shove it off the wall and leave it open for attack but Bar is tilted over to the side of Tails and escapes. Steve swings his fist in slight agitation and directs Tails back over to Bar, whose blade is now spinning! Bar backs off, but Tails is already in his face with the wedge!
CRASH!!!
Oh, but the blade was already at full speed, AND OH!!! That self-righting flipping arm is gone! Ripped right off the ram and sent flying! Not as far back as Bar though, who takes some recoil as he rockets backwards. Tails decides to play it safe and exposes the €˜tails€™, to try and damage Bar, who backs off again, spinning the weapon again. Now this is interesting: whose spinning blade reaches furthest? It definitely looks like Bar from here, and now that blade has disappeared in a rotating blur! Tails charges into him!
CRASH!!!
Bar is sent back again, right into the wall! Some fur comes off there, but Tails looks okay despite the lack of his flipper. Tails charges in at Bar with HIS weapon, who can€™t find a way to escape!
CRASH!!!
OUCH! Martijn winces as the hardox armour of Bar is slightly gashed by Tails€™ €˜tails€™. Bar however has begun to spin his weapon up again even before he€™s stopped whirling around from the force of that blade of Steve€™s beloved fox. Tails seems to notice this too, and charges in again before Bar can get the chance.
CRASH!
Another hit, but it€™s definitely not as powerful as his last, as he wobbles back a bit, but backs off, and Tails seems to be a little stunned. I think I see some smoke from Tails! Ah, there we go, Steve has Tails moving again, but the smoke is still pouring out! Bar is backing off again, but again unable to escape from Tails€™ deadly LEM-powered incisor!
CRASH!!!
Bar is thrown back, again starting to spin up, though, as another gash appears, this time a little wider! Ooh...Tails is moving slowly, however...what could this be about? Bar charges in at Tails€™ rear end, striking underneath the €˜tails€™!

Tails now goes backwards a little, with a large gash to match Bar€™s own scars! Steve seems worried, and Martijn seems to think that the battle is now going his way...and charges without the weapon spun up! OH! Tails is rammed towards the flame pit! Oh, this could be worth a laugh! :proud: Tails spins around a bit, definitely not as speedy as before, but Bar is spinning up his blade again, and with it fully gone up waits as Tails approaches with the wedge, Steve just wanting to ram Martijn€™s bot to death.

Another gash, another spin away, and Tails isn€™t looking too good at the moment, more smoke floating out through the flipper ram...is that CO2? The €˜tails€™ are spinning but Tails can€™t effectively use them because he€™s moving as fast as a snail! :proud: Bar smells the death scent of a wounded fox and moves in for the kill!

Tails is absolutely POUNDED by the bar, right in the side, and this time it does have enough force to send him flying, RIGHT ONTO THE FLAME PIT!!! :proud: Ohhhhh! What humiliation this is! We€™ve a roasting, burning fox in the oven now! Bar...is something wrong with A Night at the Bar? It€™s moving rather sluggishly as well! Tails, however, has ceased all movement, even the spinning blade which is no longer spinning happily, now looking rather sad, and not in any position to fight. The Watcher decides to call it a day and it€™s time for another countout!

Im predicting ArchAngel to win, if only because I appear to have noticed a patterning in which robot goes through.
In the very first heat, the seed went through. In the next heat, an unranked robot went through. In the next one after that, a seed went through. It went seed, unranked, seed, unranked and so on. Then, after Heat 8, it swapped around, so it went unranked, seed and now unranked.
Therefore, I think ArchAngel will win. Knowing my luck itll now lose and render the pattern useless, but I think it has all the qualities it needs.

Representing Alex Holt and Team DoomForAll: our 10th seed, ArchAngel of the Abyss! It€™s an extremely deadly full-body-spinning walker with two separate spinning rings, the lower one doing the more damage with longer blades. It also has quite decent armour, but it can be shoved around despite the weight advantage. It isn€™t invertible either, and while it can self-right, it takes long to do so and can be attacked in that instance.
C&BT1: Destroyed Heart of Fire, and although being shoved into the pit Starstorm 2, had flipped him over and Frank€™s bot was counted out before being put on the floor flipper...but then Clawdius Decimus Murderous, the 2nd seed, dumped Alex€™s FBSW down the pit in the Heat D Final.
Representing Alex MacWilliams and Team Targeted: Flank Attack: Divisionary Tactics! VERY tough, with 12mm titanium for the main body and 15mm titanium for the claws, which are coated in rubber to absorb hits. It€™s got a hugely powerful pair of jaws too, ala Tough As Nails, to carry opponents around. No motors are described in the stats, but with a speed of 21mph they must be pretty powerful... but it doesn€™t grip onto wedges that well, and claws are slow to close...

Representing Andrew Jackson and Team ???: ForcePower 5.0! This bad machine is hella powerful, with 2 LEM200s and 250 C-Cell Nicad batteries, all @ 60v giving it over 100hp!!! It also has 6mm hardox monocoque, and a front wedge to ram opponents whether inverted or not, as both the wedge and forcePower are invertible, and it has an angled rear for stopping strandings. It seems like it is over the weight limit, though...but I could be wrong. :proud:

AJ smirks as his ForcePower backs away, allowing ArchAngel and Flank Attack some room to tango. Flank Attack flies full bore at the 10th seed, only to find the ring and upper shell of ArchAngel already up to full speed! Regardless he bolts in anyway to cause some sort of mischief.
CRASH!!!
Ooh, dastardly hit, directly on the plow, and it has a nice gash through it, but Flank Attack has withstood the blow, containing ArchAngel in the pincers that are now closing the spinner in, and is pushing ArchAngel away! The jaws fully close, and ArchAngel cannot move! However due to the armour of ArchAngel, Flank Attack is only able to damage him to a minimal extent, but that doesn€™t change the fact that he€™s caught! :proud: Now that AJ sees a trapped opponent, it€™s ForcePower time! In comes the rammer, slamming straight into ArchAngel and nearly blasting it out of the grip of the horizontal crusher, but Alex MacWilliams€™ bot has the bumper spinner in its powerful jaws and isn€™t letting go for the world! Alex Holt works his controls, trying to throw Flank Attack off but no good. ForcePower decides to take the easy way out and reverses into the pit release button, opening the pit for the umpteenth time this tournament...and Flank Attack gets the message, heading straight over to the opened hole. ArchAngel really doesn€™t want the match to end this way, but with a broad smile, Alex MacWilliams releases the grip of his bot€™s jaws on ArchAngel...right over the hole. BOOM!

Representing Frank Goacher and Team SSDD is a real robot: Turbulence! A Roaming Robots champion in all its glory, built by Ed Wallace and Dave Moulds, and it€™s got quite the big, powerful flipper. Like most robots with flippers it can self-right when flipped, and its armour isn€™t quite that bad, but it has limited flips, also like all other flippers. Also a hit to the pneumatics when the flipper is open could give Turbulence some...turbulence. :proud:

Representing Matthew Fowler and Team Devil€™s Incarnate: Hacked off Ha-ka! Resilient to many spinners with its 5mm Aluminium Boron Carbide armour, and sporting a wedge each at the front and rear. It also has a nasty full pressure axe that can brutalize even 8mm titanium, but it€™s limited. Each wedge has a thin strip of titanium on the bottom edge to slide under skirts easier, but it won€™t win against Storm II in a pushing match, that€™s for sure. :proud:

Representing Aaron Knigh and Team Disctructive Technologies is a real robot: Megabyte! Scary powerful full-body spinner with blades to slice and dice and absoultely murdalize you with, ain€™t that nice. :proud: It can even self-right, but it depends on the moment for how long it takes Megabyte to self-right ala Mauler-spin. And while its armour isn€™t that bad either, when not spinning, it€™s not going to survive long.
C&BT1: Tore through Biohazard, but was fated to meet his demise at 12th seed Tails in Round 2 of Heat E, getting tossed over the fence.

Ha-ka is straight off the mark in this diverse battle of weapons, right at Turbulence, who is taking a different tack: heading straight for Megabyte! Megabyte is having a hard time finding its direction, and it pays off bad for them as Turbulence slides right into Megabyte€™s direction of rotation, causing the spinner to spin itself onto the wedge of Turbulence, and fly right over it and even over Ha-ka! Ha-ka throws the axe, but just taps the underbelly of the spinner, nonetheless throwing it off-balance and into a crazy Mauler 5150 spin! Ha-ka hits the brakes and turns around, burying the wedge into the crazed spinner causing Megabyte to fall onto the wedge and WHACK! Ooh, heavy axe blow from the Fowler camp! Turbulence approaches Ha-ka from the rear and tries to get at the rear but ends up driving onto the titanium strip and in turn onto the rear wedge. Ha-ka ignores this and gives Megabyte another WHACK from the axe, this time impaling a hole into the shell of the spinner. Turbulence decides to change tack and has a go at Ha-ka€™s sides, tossing it right over! Megabyte also topples, but back onto its wheels! Turbulence makes a beeling for the spinner, Megabyte however slightly dodging using its half-spun up shell to smack the edge of the side and send itself away, spinning again. Turbulence gives chase as Ha-ka vaults into the air using its axe to right itself, but Megabyte is now back up to speed despite the previous attack by Ha-ka, and decides to abandon all pretence, charging straight into the wedge of Turbulence...not a good idea! The blades of Megabyte catch the wedge dead center, with the same result: Megabyte soars right overtop of Turbulence and lands squarely in front of Ha-ka, who wastes no time in scooping the spinner onto the wedge and WHACKing it again. Another hole is made, still small, but noticeable. Turbulence spins around, not going to let Ha-ka have all the fun, and sees his quarry gangway for the pit release button, axe catching Megabyte and holding it on the wedge...no! Megabyte escapes, but ready to be scooped up by Turbulence, and finally: FLIP! The flipper of Turbulence comes into play and sends Megabyte flying through the air, landing right onto its back. Ha-ka backs into the pit release anyway, opening that hellish hole for yet another round, as Megabyte slowly begins to spin up upside-down. Turbulence is quite ready for this attempt and marrs it immediately by tackling Megabyte and sending it right into Double Whamlet€™s CPZ! Whamlet€™s hatred is given an outlet as the twin axes pounce upon the underbelly of Megabyte! WHACK! Turbulence backs off from the seen, only to bump into Ha-ka, who gives the wedge a WHACK from the back! OH! The flipper is caught! The Watcher trundles over and takes care to bump into Ha-ka as harshly as possible, before heading over to the CPZ, as Double Big Mac slowly wheels over there, hammers spinning wildly. Turbulence backs away, trying to force Ha-ka towards the wall opposite, wheels digging into the ground. Ha-ka shows an equal amount of determination, its own wheels providing torque, but not enough to break the deadlock. Megabyte, meanwhile, seems to be beaten, and the final confirmation is given, as The Watcher€™s countdown begins!

Whamlet immediately shoots out of the CPZ, and pushes the defeated spinner down the pit. DBM spins down his hammers mournfully, and Ha-ka and Turbulence also become stationary, as the match is over.

Turbulence vs. ForcePower 5.0: My opponion on this is going to be possibly wrong, but I say that Turbulence shall win via OOTAing because if they hit the corners of ForcePower, it will get underneath. And due to its shape, it will get underneath AJs robot easily, push it to the sides and toss it out!
Flank Attack: DT vs. Hacked off Ha-ka: Whilst the front is Hardox and the claws are Titanium, the top is POLYCARBONATE - a perfect device for axes to pierce. Go HA-KA!
Heat Final: TURBULENCE VS. HACKED OFF HA-KA

Ah, this should be fairly simple. Lets start with the basics, we both have 0mm clearance wedges. So head to head its down to power. Turbulence runs 2x Bosch GPA 750w motors at 24v giving it 2hp. ForcePower 5.0 runs 2x LEM-200 motors at 60v giving it 104hp. You do the maths! :proud: Quite clearly I have a huge power advantage and I should be able to push Turbulence around all day. As for its flipper, I work perfectly well inverted so its not much of a worry, but Ill avoid it as much as possible. Just get it down the pit and feed to to the hazard and house robots.

anyway try to stay away from that axe as much as possible and see if I can fake him out to waste some of that limited CO2. Hes not very good at pushing, regardless, so if we get locked in a pushing battle I should be able to shove him around. Mostly Id like to aim for the sides to grapple on and pit.

ForcePower is quicker off the mark and flies towards Turbulence, but the realie jolts slightly, aiming for the left front corner of ForcePower. Andy jams the brakes and tries to point ForcePower towards Turbulence, but overshoots it due to the poor control, exposing the right front corner. Turbulence flies in, slides €˜neath, and with an almighty FLIP, ForcePower finds itself working upside-down! This of course is no problem for the rammer, but Turbulence has just scored itself points, so ForcePower needs to get back in the game, but Turbulence isn€™t giving him room to breathe, and before ForcePower can recover the Roaming Robots champion is under the same spot. FLIP! ForcePower is launched again, and goes over, this time right side up! ForcePower backs off to try and regroup, as Turbulence aggressively approaches the rambot. ForcePower hurtles towards the realie and they meet...and it€™s ForcePower in control now! Turbulence is getting thrown back at shocking speeds, and WHAM! Right into the wall! Unfortunately, this bumps ForcePower right onto Turbulence€™s wedge! And...FLIP! Turbulence responds accordingly with another savage flick of the flipper, sending ForcePower sprawling across the arena floor, again inverted. ForcePower turns, but way too fast, exposing the right side completely, as Turbulence goes for it...and gets it! FLIP! Successful skirt penetration means a 100% chance of flipperation, and that causes ForcePower to go flying through the air again, landing back on its belly and really agitated. Turbulence doesn€™t seem to be letting up at all, and Andy seems to realize this because ForcePower is now backing away towards the pit release button...BANG. Pit opened - WHOA! Turbulence almost netted himself a ticket to the black hole of doom there! Backing away, he spies his adversary snaking around the pit and turning to face him...and has a go at ForcePower€™s side. ForcePower turns slightly, and this time it is nicely timed: they are face-to-face, and ForcePower guns the motors again! Turbulence gives it the old college try and smacks into the front of ForcePower...right onto the wedge! And ForcePower€™s delivering him TO...WHAM! The wall again! Devastating crash, as Turbulence bounces away, inverted! FLIP! Turbulence rights itself but it€™s not over yet, as ForcePower attacks again with heightened ferocity! Turbulence backs off and ForcePower€™s just made itself vulnerable, leaving its side open to assault! Again Frank takes advantage: FLIP! Over goes ForcePower yet AGAIN. ForcePower runs away, quite keen on setting up another attack, but Turbulence is at him again in no time! BANG. They collide head-on...and Turbulence penetrates the front wedge of ForcePower! FLIP! ForcePower goes onto its belly again, but Turbulence comes in again...and tries to push it? BAD IDEA! ForcePower backs into the flipper, whose weapon is wide open, and steers it towards the wall opposite! Being smushed into paste against the wall doesn€™t sound quite appetizing, and so Frank spins Turbulence off the back of ForcePower, sending the rammer flying into the wall rear-first! WHAM! Turbulence flies in to seize the opportunity! FLIP! ForcePower topples onto its back for the fourth time this fight. ForcePower backs into Turbulence to try and catch the flipper ram again, but Turbulence spins away again, smacking the left side skirt with the flipper. ForcePower guns the motors again and veers down on Turbulence, who meets the charge again head-on, and it€™s ForcePower who gets under this time, and actually toppling Turbulence on the wedge! Quickly ForcePower turns to the wall opposite, but it turns too harshly, sending Turb flying off the back and onto its own back. FLIP! Turbulence again self-rights, but a rather weak self-right at that, and it seems to be running out of flips. ForcePower hurriedly buries its wedge in, and catches Turbulence, who spins away, catches the right side skirt and slips under it. FLIP! Ooh, still some nice power in that flipper yet, as ForcePower goes back onto its belly. Turbulence shoves itself into ForcePower, the flipper lowered again, but does not flip. Instead, he starts pushing ForcePower towards the flame pit! ForcePower tries to reverse off the wedge, but the wheels are spinning...in mid-air! He€™s going nowhere! FWOOM. A lick of flame and now ForcePower is on the flame pit, roasting. FLIP! Another toss by Turbulence and ForcePower finds itself inverted for about the fifth time this match, and Andy€™s frustration grows. Turbulence heads for the left side skirt again but this time is unable to get under it and backs off, but ForcePower turns to him and gives him a weak push...is something wrong with its drivetrain?

Turbulence rams ForcePower€™s front wedge; it€™s another deadlock, and ForcePower is very slowly pushing Turbulence backwards.

Turbulence gives a slight lift of the flipper, and it looks they€™ve run out of flips; this does raise ForcePower up a little, but he comes crashing down again.

Flank Attack is quick off the mark, straight away from Ha-ka, mainly trying to avoid the axe as much as possible. Ha-ka goes for broke, charging straight into the right side claw, but Flank Attack spins around and turns Ha-ka off-course, the axe barely missing. WHACK. Nice hole in the arena floor, but you€™re paying for it. :angry: Flank Attack€™s got him in the jaws now, and bores forward, scooping him up in the plow, and squeezing in! Normally due to the wedges at the front and rear this would be quite ineffective, but since the side of Ha-ka is pinned under Flank Attack€™s plow, it€™s QUITE effective, and it is becoming apparent now as holes start to appear in Ha-ka€™s Aluminium Boron Carbide armour! Flank Attack drives around, quite happy with his prize, and Ha-ka flings the axe down repeatedly in panic, but it€™s no good! Evidently wishing to finish this battle off as quick as possible, Flank Attack reverses towards the pit release - OH! Look at this! Ha-ka has...somehow...snagged the floor flipper lining with the axe, and it€™s stuck! Flank Attack pulls...and pulls...and pulls...and to the grief of Matty Fowler the axe is loose and Flank Attack backs all the way into the pit release button...which I€™m sure you all know what it does by now. Alex also knows what to do now, and Matt is unable to prevent it: the dreaded pitting! Flank Attack stops just on the edge of the pit and opens the jaws...and any moment now, BOOM! Ha-ka is down the drain.

Its fun to see Flank Attack is a stayer after all. It hasnt been that successful since 2005 when it won its heat in MN1 and got some votes in the best new vapour catogery :proud:

Drive straight at it, and flip it up using the claws rather than the body, at least to bounce it up. Drive under it while its bounced to get under the body proper, carry it to the wall and eject.

Use the speed to get around it and stay away from the flipper. Im invertible so hopefully I can take some flips. Try to stay in the middle of the arena so I dont have to worry as much about the walls.

Flank Attack: DT clawed out ArchAngel of the Abyss chances of proceeding further than Round 1, and then shoved Hacked off Ha-ka down to its doom.

Flank Attack is the first to move, and is halfway across the arena already before Turbulence suddenly springs to life, and it certainly seems quite peppy because its rammed into one of the claws and sent it up onto the wedge! FLIP! Flank Attack is tipped sideways and lands on its back, but fully functional. Flank Attack turns to attack and finds the realie back across the floor, preparing for another assault on the pincers. Alex isnt about to let the same thing happen again and turns to face Turbulence, whos speeding in again and crashes into the same claw. Its Alex time to shine though, as he carefully turns Flank Attacks claw-under-siege away from the wedge, and now rams Turbulences left side! Frank drives forward to try and shake Flank Attack off, but it makes things worse as Alex steers his prey right into the wall! Pinned on the wall, Turbulence is now caught like a fly in a pitcher plant...or is he? Flank Attack is trying to close the claws in, but the right side claw is sliding over the wedge! Frank is delighted, and hits the flipper button. FLIP! Flank Attack goes for a ride, sailing backwards and landing away from Turbulence. The realie homes in on Flank Attack quickly and attacks the rear! Flank Attack scooped up and trapped on the wedge! Hes carried to the wall aaaaand...too early. :sad: Turbulence tossed Flank Attack about a second before he hit the wall, and Flank Attack bounces off the railing with both pincers, and landing back on its wheels. Frank claps his hand to his head, but Alex is quite relieved and goes for an attack on Turbulence again, to find that the wedge has backed off and roaming around the arena. The 5th seed of Mechanical Noise 1 is once again after him, and closing in quite quickly, but Turbulence spins around before the inevitable contact. BANG! The wedge meets the scoop, and they cancel out...and the pincers close in! Turbulences side panels are feeling the hurt now, and this is quite bad, for in the last two battles, no opponent has escaped the pincers when they have captured an opponent! Oh, but whats this? Turbulence is trying to push Flank Attack away! Flank Attack pushes back, and the pincers spikes plunge deeper into the sides of the realie...and Turbulence suddenly stops moving! Uh oh, something important must have been damaged...and it looks like Turbulence has had it. Flank Attack now pushes him back, right straight towards the floor flipper. The claws open...no movement. Turbulence is a dead duck. The Watcher comes on over, and Taki and Tira leave their CPZs, as the countdown commences!

FLIP!
Turbulence soars, the floor flipper sending it across the arena in a hurry, and landing on its back skids across the floor, but Flank Attack is right there, and it catches Turbulence wide open, the claws ink in again. The house robots give chase, and Flank Attack backs into the pit release button. Guess what happens now. :proud: Taki slams into Turbulences front end, now inverted, and shooting under both bots lifts them into the air, and on top of her, and spins around while the crowd hollers their approval. A few twirls and Flank Attack lands away from Taki, and has his prey right in front of the other one: Tira!
CRASH!!!
OH! Mighty hit, directly on Turbulences flipper! This sends both competitors across the floor amid a shower of green and purple sparks, but Turbulence has a pretty strong flipper and it takes the hit quite well, despite being dead! Alex has had enough of this charade and wheels Flank Attack over to the pit: sure enough, the pincers open right over the hole and Turbulence is plunged in. Taki sneakily comes in from behind and puts Flank Attack on top of him. :proud:

Turbulence has a long way to the top before he can rock n roll. :proud:
