Nitro-Gene 5.0 vs. The Hurting
Well Mr. Connell, what Im going to do is attack your disc side, as your disc will be very nice to hit, as I have a 90* front, which is made of 3.25mm Hardox for the two panels (held on by rubber capped bolts to make them impossible to just break) and a 5mm Hardox flipper, which you wont wish to attack anyway.
Just hit the disc and slow it, then push to the walls with my 12hp, and FA-LIP him out!

Hmm...
DRIVE vs. Ziggy:
Firstly, Drive is 4WD, not 8 as stated. :proud:
Secondly...avoid the front, push it around and get it down the pit. Low wide shapes like Drive should tip over if flipped rather than fly well, and this will work to my advantage.
THE HURTING vs. Nitro-Gene 5.0.:
Well, Mr. Cuomo, what Im going to do is start in reverse again and keep the wedge to you while I spin up to buy me time to get to full speed.
And afterwards, if your statistics are to be believed, your flipper has a relatively narrow flat front and runs just over halfway up the body. This is nice for armour but doesnt translate well at all into leverage for flipping, and also makes it easier to avoid, and those sides look awfully tasty for vertical spinners, being pointed like that and all - I dont care how curved your armour is, thats still easy to get a grip on :proud:
In short, use the wedge and flipper to keep it away until the disc gets to speed, then turn around and hit it at the sides and rear, avoiding the front, and generally batter it into submission and try to perform an X-Terminator and get it out the arena if the opportunity arises.
MIDDLEWEIGHTS: Xianghua FTW. Despite Kodys determination to the contrary regarding my bots :P
FEATHERWEIGHTS: Quite even actually. If LH can get a hit in to stop the shell, if could be in with a chance, but Deadly LAmpshade should be able to avoid it...I think it might go the the judges, but Dan FTW nonetheless.

Its been 10 days since this thing began! And already were at FRFFT: Series One Grand Final.
First up, the Middleweight Final: Xianghua II and Hazard
Xianghua II pushed Typhoon into the pit after a mighty ding-dong, but took some damage. Kody has repaired it, and is ready for battle
Hazard pulled T-Minus apart within seconds. It took no damage in that battle and David seems confident about this
3-2-1: Activate!
Xianghua II stood up to Typhoon well, but what will Tony Buchanini and David pull out of the hat? OH, THATS WHAT! A large split down Xianghua IIs wedge and part of the side! Kody backs away and turns around to hit Hazard with the rear. David is ready and OUCH! The rear panel is split...and falls off! The power supply of Xianghua II is now exposed to furthur attack from the spinning tool bar! This is why Hazard has won Battlebots Middweight Competition THREE times! Kody activates the lifter to use as a shield against Hazard. Hazard turns and slices through the side! It is largely crippled now, Xianghua II. It doesnt seem to be moving much anymore. Hazard hits the back end...AND THINGS go flying across the arena floor! A battery pack has been smacked open! Refbot comes in. What a display by Hazard!
1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10!
And Kody is out! He made it this far and there is NO shame in coming second place, or any place for that matter. Hazard comes in again. Xianghua II spun away. Its on fire, I think. The 36v NiCad motors have burned out. Hazards blade spins to a stop.

Sigh...I did not like that fight, and I am going to give you several reasons why I did not like that fight:
1. Robots really do not acquire such monstrous damage within those amount of hits, unless its something of MDU standard. And Hazard definitely isnt.
2. Once again, you lack large amounts of detail in your fights, crucial parts.
3. STOP HAVING BOTS CATCH FIRE ALMOST EVERY FIGHT.
4. Xianghua II runs off four S28-400 motors. NiCads arent motors. :P
I think a rewrite is merited this time around. If not, count me out of any tournaments you will open. Sorry if I sound like a jerk, but I stand fully by what I said.

...riight...now, someone correct me if Im wrong, but I have never seen Hazard actually mete out all that much damage in combat against real robots...so...why the sudden uber killing against the basic laws of physicsness here?

Very sorry to Kody AND Joey AND anyone else who has lost faith in me to type good fights. Feel free to comment on any errors in the rematch
3-2-1: Activate!
So this is a rematch from the first fight. Xianghua II wants to avoid that spinning tool bar of Hazard, because weve seen the damage it has done already! Kody, being very wary, and now he drives forward for the kill! OUCH! Xianghua II is spun to one side, theres a small gash in the wedge! Hazard gets up to full speed again and backs off for another impact, but...whats this? Kody has activated the lifter and RAMS Hazard head on! This time, both robots are knocked off the ground slightly. There is another gash, this time in the lifter! Xianghua II backs away, but what can it do. Hazard spins back up after every impact. Kody takes another chance and charges forth again...OW! Now the lifter is bent and there is an even massive TEAR growing from the first impact upon it. Hazard impressive so far. Another bash! Xianghua II runs away and presses the pit release button, but Hazard follows...and Xianghua II SPUN and SMACKED into the wall! HA-HA...Hazard has smashed up the pit release button! Theres a tear in it. This looks like it is going to the judges. Xianghua II still has the lifter up and rams Hazard again! The lifter is looking limper with every hit on the front. Its good tactics by Kody to protect the interior of the robot, but is it good enough?

I was not and I repeat, NOT trying get any sympathy from anyone by having David win again. I imagined it in my head, as if it was a real fight, and based on what I know, wrote the following rewrite. If it is not up to anyones standards, please let me know as soon as possible

Much better fight. :) But theres just one more error, and I should have made this clearer before the fight:
Xianghua II is like 10cm high, and Zion in Season 3 was, I think, higher than that. Hazards blade barely scraped Zions top armour. No major changes have been made to Hazard during Season 5, so I doubt Hazards blade can hit her, actually, unless she drive up onto the front wedge, and the wedge wouldnt be hit unless she raised it prematurely, which I stated I wouldnt do while Hazards blade was spinning. Meh.
Just another pointer, no offense meant. :)
