Use the Arena to your Advantage 1 - Bloody Low Walls
«GeForce 4.0 vs. The Zenith»
This tournament provides an advantage to rammers and flippers, eh? Well it just so happens GeForce is both of those. First of all I shall go for a box rush and use my wedge to slow down the shell. The thick armour and wedge shape should help me deflect its blows.
Then, drive in under The Zenith, use my wedge and pushing power to shove it accross the arena and then let rip with the flipper. This should send it sailing several feet above those bloody low walls. I shall aim to use these tactics over and over again in this fight. Stalling the spinner and then using both my ramming abilities and flipping abilities to make use of the low walls. Eventually I should be able to launch it into the pit or immobilise it on impact.
In the other matches, Im thinking Walk Away, Wedge Devo, Achilles, Cat With Wheels, Cosmic Thunder 2, Byatch Beater and Worck to all progress.

If Cosmic Thunder does get under me, I could simply throw myself off (and thus upside down), run away and then revert myself. And why not? After all, thats something T-Minus could do (as shown in his fight against Sunshine Lollibot). If he flips me out of the arena, do the same trick and do a MEGAFLIP and throw myself back in.
I know I, at least, can re-enter the arena. I dont think Cosmic Thunder can.

Ah, its the full skirted machine against the half-skirted machine, he has a slightly higher top speed, but those skirts are going to cause resistance. My key advantage is that I have a rear hinge flipper against Dannys top hinged flipper, but that means his front end will be lower. My aim is to attempt to get at the sides and rear trying to get him OOTA as soon as possible.
And because there is no house robots, i cant have any fun

Woot! The draw is up and I believe I can make good predictions :proud:
Walk Away vs Starstorm 2: Walk Away to walk forward by flipping Starstorm up and then breaking it all up!
Sir Spinalot vs Wedge Devolution: Andre may cause an upset and damage Wedge to breaking point, but more likely will be Steven to flip Sir Spinalot OOTA.
Dennis The Menace vs Achilles: The newly designed Achilles may be able to withstand the Welsh robot and allow Alex to win!
Cat With Wheels vs Hoof: The very good Cat With Wheels to flip Hoof over to win the JD.
The Zenith vs GeForce 4.0: GeForce to win, because [puts on Darth Vader voice] the force is strong within it! :proud:
Cosmic Thunder 2 vs Y4: Cosmic Thunder to give Y4 the bye-bye!
The Quaestor vs Biatch Beater: Go Joey!
Namie€™s Style vs Worck: Oh, here I go. I need to get a few things straight about Worck. The gas bottles are put in widt-ways to make them fit, so they dont stick out. What Im doing is charging diagonally at the front of Namies Style, as that way, whatll happen is Ill hit the opponent with a point of my wedge, making SURE Ill get under, and once shes on top of Worck, my barbs on the wedge are making sure she wont go away from me. I have both the more push behind my flipper and the more power, and the more flips, so just flip it about! If I get her near the arena wall, hen go for the OOTA.

Sorry Paul, but I just stated that the dimensions of 5kg CO2 bottles just will not fit in a 13cm high machine. Most are over 20cm in diameter. If the diameter of a CO2 is less than 13cm, it will be over 70cm in length, which is also further than your own robot. Mind fixing up your stats? :P
Proof of this is a CO2 fire extinguisher: http://www.actfire.co.uk/product/1071.php

Do CO2 bottles have to be cylindrical?
Use the Arena to your Advantage 1 - Bloody Low Walls
Not necessarily, but most CO2 bottles Ive seen in robot combat are cylindrical.
Fact remains though: 2 5kg CO2 bottles, whatever possible dimensions, just will not fit into Worcks own dimensions.

ok, Im bad with pnuematics myself, anyone else has a say in the case Kunz vs Cuomo?:proud:

I plan to avoid an argument, and so Im going to size down my bottles to 2 x 3kg CO2 bottles.

Tactics: The only robot I didnt want to face...
We are about the same speed, so for him to get the flipper under me he will have to outmanouver me. I have 2 wheels against Achilles 4, so manouverability is in my favour. I will aim to get behind Achilles and hit the back of it with the drum. The rubber/Ti mix of Achilles armour shouldnt be a problem for the drum. Even if there isnt much damage, the impact should flip Achilles over, allowing me to dominate in this fight.
