OH! Sparks litter the arena floor! Now, McDuff will again try to get in underneath Sheer Heart Attack, and there it goes!

WOAH! There€™s a whole lot of sparks flying, and now, McDuff will need to either stop the drum with the wedge before it gets up to full speed, or just drive to the sides and push them.

Now more and more sparks overcrowd the arena floor, and now still no damage caused to either of them€¦ McDuff now pushes the Ex-C&B Champion into the saws! BZZT! OH!!! The rubber strips on the tracks of Sheer Heart Attack have been badly dented! But Sheer Heart Attack, surprisingly is able to move freely.

OH!! McDuff gets a nice scratch in the sides! Sheer Heart Attack is now spinning away again, and what McDuff needs to do now is to push and shove Sheer Heart Attack, towards the pit or towards the hazards. But now, I€™m afraid time€™s running out for both of these bots€¦

Not really much damage caused here to Axeon, just a dent, not too visible. Now, Killotine immediately barges in onto Axeon, and pushes it to the wall!

Now, Axeon comes in again, and grasps the side of Killotine with the axe!

Again, a huge dent is made in Killotine! Killotine fights back and whacks its own axe into Axeon!

Now, Axeon immediately retaliates, gets underneath, and pushes Killotine right into the wall! At the same time, €œYoiks, and away!!€ goes the axe of Axeon! :proud:

4. Macduff the 2nd vs. Axeon 3.0
Lowered spikes here (Set-up 3). Keep at his sides and ram him around. With luck Ill be able to puncture a tyre and render his mobility to a limited state. Spin around if he gets at my own sides so I can knock him away.

AJ is reminding himself never to make another mistake like that again. Now, the rambot is pushing Axeon into the saws! BZZT! WOAH-HO! Sparks fly and the audience loves it! Now, Axeon gets away and down comes the axe!

The axe makes another dent in the armour there! Now, MacDuff gets under Axeon again and this time€¦

OH!!!! Right into the wall!! McDuff now comes in again, and slams Axeon into the wall!

Now, Axeon has a go at MacDuff and€¦

OH!! AJ slams Kody right into the wall, and that will hopefully score Axeon some points, now AJ is doing it again!

OH!!! The tracks get pinned by the axe, and now, Axeon has the freedom of pushing MacDuff to anywhere it wants! MacDuff gets pushed into the pit release button! Now, the pit opens€¦ OI! Axeon lets go of the axe and now, MacDuff can move again! But that axe must€™ve done something critical to MacDuff. It cannot move freely, and taking that advantage, Axeon slams into MacDuff all of a sudden and pushes MacDuff closer into the pit€¦ and BOOM! Down it goes!

Tri-Tainium VS Orka Mk 4 VS E Clawdius Unum: This will be tough, but its my last attempt for a semi-final, so Ill just go for it.
Simply slam into the sides of Clawdius and knock him onto his side, then smash up the base panel and disable lots of bits before he self-rights. If Orka tries to take me out, Ill use the same plan on him as well.

Tri-Tanium has the highest ground clearance of the two, so it might be best attacking it first. Get round to the sides, slip the spikes and barbs underneath and try to puncture those wheels.
If Orka proves persistant, Ill simply try and recreate Behemoth VS Razer. :wink:

GeForce will throw you around at Mach 7 if you don€™t act fast enough. This bad boy has a low wedge shape, with a gnarly rear hinged flipper! However, the CO2 is limited, so maybe this weakness won€™t have GeForce living up to his name.
From Methyr Tydfil, in Wales, Sonic BOOM!
Sonic Boom is an axlebot with a Stinger-like axe weapon, and this can come down with a force of 800 kg! This will surely give those nasty axes a run for their money. However, the weapon is not that accurate, and the wheels are highly exposed.
From Belmont in California, Biohazard!
Biohazard is the only heavyweight to win 4 championship titles in Battlebots. It is equipped with a lifter weapon, but Megabyte, Brutality, and Son of Whyachi easily tore it apart in the previous battles. Is Biohazard too old for its good?

WOAH! That sent the 4-time Battlebot champ almost over the barrier! Now, Biohazard rights itself, and goes for Sonic Boom! Biohazard has got Sonic Boom in its grasp, but luckily Sonic Boom escapes, and now, it buries its axe right into Biohazard!
WHACK!
Daniel is looking satisfied after that hit, and Biohazard moves away, and Sonic Boom just slams its axe again into Biohazard!

WOAH! That makes a nice big hole in the armour and now, Biohazard moves away, only to get flipped by GeForce!

A low box with a front scoop, three discs, over 165 kJ per hit, One word, OUCH! But€¦ there is a tiny flaw to it€¦ wheels are exposed, and untried design. This could feel the pain pretty easily€¦
From Onehouse, Suffolk, Orka Mk 4!
A Behemoth-shaped design, Vlad the Impaler style dorsal fin srimech, titanium armour, pretty good scoop weapon, let€™s see how this dolphin swims in the seas of our arena!
From Glasgow, Scotland, E Clawdius Unum!
So, let€™s see here€¦ a nice low wedge shape to get under the other bot easier, and the main feature is the 3000psi beak that operates on a single Vivoil Pump! Also, 4mm Hardox, S28-400 drive and a top speed of 15 mph means that it is a decent pusher. Will this robot rule the competition?

Sparks litter the arena floor, and the audience loves it! Now then, Clawdius gets under the rear end of Tri-Tainium, and down comes the claw€¦ slowly€¦ into the wheel hole! Tri-Tainium tries getting away, but they can€™t! POP! OH!!! The dreaded beak just penetrates right into the wheel, there! Listen to that lovely popping sound! :proud: Now€¦ OI! Tri-Tainium escapes somehow, only to run right into Orka!
CRASH!!!
OH!!!! Orka€™s front claw snaps in half and Tri-Tainium goes for Orka again, and€¦
CRASH!!!
WOAH-HO! Orka€™s side panel is sliced into pieces! But Clawdius comes in, and the Razer-esque robot gets underneath Tri-Tainium and the beak cometh down€¦ and that beak grabs hold of Tri-Tainium tightly, and finally, Tri-Tainium is coming ever so close to the pit, and finally, one last shove from Clawdius is enough to send it tumbling down into the hazard striped abyss! BOOM!

Sonic Boom gets away though, and gets the giant axe to work, but misses. Now, Clawdius grabs hold of the axle once again, but Sonic Boom does his best to get away, and it does. Now, Steve looks a bit impatient from the control pod there€¦ Clawdius can€™t really seem to grab hold of Sonic Boom, but now, Sonic Boom starts spinning like mad, and Clawdius slams into it!

Clawdius is thrashed away, but not too much damage is being caused to it, in spite of that 4mm Hardox armour. There is a very small dent in the armour of Clawdius, and Clawdius now grabs TIGHT hold of the axle once again, and now, Sonic Boom can€™t get away! Clawdius nears the pit of doom, and€¦ OI! Sonic Boom gets away somehow! Daniel still looks worried, and Steve can€™t take it anymore, so he grabs hold of Sonic Boom, and this time, in the wheel! OH NO! Sonic Boom can€™t get away now€¦ BOOM! Sam: Thats right, Dan, GeForce has got a very powerful flipper, which we have seen in Dual Duels and other tournaments as such, but Clawdius is the runner up of Crash and Burn 1, and it actually beat GeForce in Mechanical Noise Series 1.
OHagan: Yes, but Clawdius DID get beaten by a powerful flipper, Liar in AJWars, and thats why I think GeForce will get its vengeance. What do you think?
Sam: I figure history will repeat itself, and Clawdius will beat GeForce again and win this heat. Anyway, weve reached the mother of all battles, the HEAT FINAL!

So, these robots have fought before in Mechanical Noise 1. Clawdius won that battle, and look at this! Clawdius gets underneath the sides, and immediately gets that beak down! Will history repeat itself? Now, GeForce gets away, and gets under the rear end!
FLIP!
...but Clawdius is quick to get up, and now Clawdius gets under again and crumples down! There is a large dent in the armour of GeForce, and now, GeForce gets away, and charges at Clawdius, and in reponse, Clawdius backs up and presses the pit button. The pit goes down, and now... GeForce puts its front to use and flips Clawdius a second time!
FLIP!
...and again, Clawdius self rights quickly! Now, coming in for the kill on GeForce, and it sinks its beak right into the flipper! GeForce gets away now, and its a good thing Clawdius didnt puncture the CO2 canister. Now, Clawdius making a second attempt on grabbing hold of GeForce, and GeForce turns, and slides the flipper into the rear end, carries it to the wall and Clawdius gets flipped again by GeForce!
FLIP!
AHH...! Not high enough! Clawdius bounces off the wall, and tumbles onto its side! Good self-righting there by Clawdius again, now... Clawdius sinks its beak into the armour of GeForce, and GeForce gets away again. GeForce and Clawdius charges at each other, but GeForce accidently gets its flipper BEFORE Clawdius gets on it and leaves the CO2 tank exposed! Clawdius somehow gets under, and penetrates directly into the flipper! Whoa, you dont want to be in this situation, GeForce, get out of there...
BANG!
...too late. That attack from Clawdius punctures the CO2 tank, and now, GeForce has become weaponless! Anyway, GeForce gets away, and Clawdius and GeForce still fighting it out, and Clawdius charges at GeForces side! AJ tries to get away, but Clawdius gets under, and snags a wheel hole with the barbs! Clawdius gets the beak into play, and without missing a beat, it goes directly for the pit! GeForce cant get away, and before AJ knows it, GeForce slides off the wedge and plummets into the hazard striped abyss! BOOM! Well done to Steve for winning his 2nd heat!

Yes, Super Gore is built by the brilliant man himself, Kody Kunz. This tracked brute has a Kan-Opener style set of claws, and tracks that are extremely hard to break. However, tracks are tracks, and they could be exposed.
From Pontefract, in Yorkshire, Radioactive!
Radioactive is a lightweight robot with a box-wedge design, and with two hardened steel spikes on the back. Its very manueverable, but that severe weight disadvantage might cause its downfall.

Ah, sparks fly. Lovely stuff. :proud: Now, Super Gore Evo presses the pit button, and crashes into Radioactive again, and pushes it into the wall. Oof. That mustve hurt. Now, Radioactive drives away, but Liar comes in, and gets under the rear end!
FLIP!!
OHH GOODNESS ME!!! Radioactive is sent 21 feet high into the air and comes back down with a thud! Thanks to the shock proofing, its just managing to hold on. The bad news is that Radioactive is on its back, rendering the wedge useless. Now, Super Gore just bumps into Radioactive, and pushes it into the wall again!
WHAM!
Radioactive slams into the wall, but escapes again, and slams into Super Gores front, but is not able to push it around. Now, Liar comes out of nowhere, and crashes their party! Radioactive is being carried towards the wall!
FLIP!!
Holy flying Radioactive! Its out! Radioactive gets up 20 feet up into the air, and out! Now, Super Gore Evo and Liar begins to charge at each other, but....

Axe-O-Lotl is a monster of a competitor. Its massive axe comes down with a force of a jackhammer, and its shaped like Commengetorix so it cant get stuck on its side, but that 3mm steel armour looks a bit frail, and that 2mm ground clearence might hinder the 20mph top speed... what do you think?

Dervish has returned to the warzone with a nasty full body drum weapon which can destroy all matters of armour. (All matters of armour? Im not so sure about that :proud:) and with a nice and sturdy Aluminium Boron Carbite armour, this robot is sure to give a massive punch to the opponents, but as usual, the wheels are exposed...

Sonics partner goes on steroids! Turbo Tails is a nice box shape with a front flipper, and a rear Fluffy style spinning weapon and you dont want to touch those blades! *Shudders* Its also got a 3.5mm hardox armour and nice magmotor drive with 16mph speed, so it can also push well. HOWEVER, the whole robot is covered in fur! I smell burning... :proud:

The axe penetrates straight into the fur, and there is a dent in the armour! Now, it drags Turbo Tails onto the flames!!!

Ah, bot flambe, one of my favourites! :proud: Turbo Tails gets away and the fur is on fire!! Ah, that was awesome. No damage is caused inside the machine, though. Now, the blade of Turbo Tails is spinning madly, and it crashes into the side of Axe-O-Lotl with it! Axe-O-Lotl tries getting away, but...
CRASH!!!!
WOAH! The blade slices a big gash in the armour, and now... Axe-O-Lotl self-rights, and comes in, and slams into Dervish!
CRASH!!!
WOAH! Dervish flips over Axe-O-Lotl and removes a piece of armour from it, and now, the axebot tries to go for Turbo Tails and avoiding that blade again, but Dervish comes in and slams into Axe-O-Lotl again!

WOAH! Dervish is really cranking up the carnage level here, and Turbo Tails shoves Axe-O-Lotl from the sides and drags it to Dervish!

OH!! Axe-O-Lotl goes flying into the wall and nearly out of the blinking warzone! Now, Axe-O-Lotl runs away from Dervish, and gets to Turbo Tails side and fires the axe!
WHACK!
The axe again causes damage and makes a dent, but Dervish comes in and saves Turbo Tails by slamming into Axe-O-Lotls side!
CRASH!!!
And that sends Axe-O-Lotl flying into the wall again, and now Axe-O-Lotl is starting to drive in circles, and cant seem to move freely. The pit release has been activated by Turbo Tails, and Dervish comes in, smashing into the other side of Axe-O-Lotl!
CRASH!!!!
And that attack sends Axe-O-Lotl on its back, and Axe-O-Lotl self-rights again... but wait! HAS AXE-O-LOTL STOPPED?! I think it has! The initial slam from Dervish sent it flying, and I think something vital inside has been dislodged. The count is on!

Now, Turbo Tails, with the fur coat gone, has revenge on Axe-O-Lotl by shunting it down the pit. Daniel and Steve shake hands with each other. Well done to all three teams!

Super Gore Evo, right. Evoll use the clamping claws. Aim for the sides or rear, and sink in, then use my better traction to drag Turbo Tails down the pit. Avoid the front; the flipper itself doesnt bug me at all, but I might go up onto the wedge and hit the spinning bar, which is pretty much the only way it can hit me seeing as its too high. :proud:
And yeah, the party is already next door Samuel. :proud:

Liar gets knocked over onto its back by that attack, and Martijn is reminding himself not to make that mistake again. The wheel is undamaged. Now, Liar again, gets under, and flips before the drum gets up to full speed!

Now, Liar gets away, but Dervish spins to full speed, and now, hitting the side of Liar yet again with the drum!
CRASH!!!
OH Look at the wheel! There is an enormous dent just carved right in there! But Liar is quick and gets underneath again!

WOAH! Sparks fly, and so does Dervish! Dervish lands straight onto the titanium floor with a thump! Now Dervish immediately smacks into Liar, drum spun up to full speed!

OUCH. You know how much that would hurt. The drum digs right into the wheel and look at that! The wheel is very badly dented there! Now, Martijn cant take it anymore, so he drives Liar into the side of Dervish, and...

OH HO! Dervish is sent flying into the pit release and almost out! Now, the pit release has been activated, and now, Dervish immediately spins again, and smacks directly into the back of Liar!

The rubber is stripped off of Liars tyres. Liar does not give up, and starts spinning!

Dervish... oh! Dervish has been hit in the tyre! Lets have a look at it again! WHAM! What a deadly assault there by Liar! But both of these bots are in bad shape, and theyre sort of limping along here, and arent able to move freely! Time is running out here....

The two bots collide with each other head-on, and Turbo Tails is pinned by the pincers of Super Gore, and now, which way is Super Gore going to take? Turbo Tails is being pushed into... OH NO. Not the flames!
FWOOM!!
HAHAHAHAHA! The fur is on fire! Things are not going according to plan! Turbo Tails is on fire again! Now, Turbo Tails gets away, and now, the blade is spinning, and hits Super Gores side!
CRASH!!!
Ah, sparks fly. Gotta love the sparks. :proud: Super Gore is scratched, but that did not cause any problems to the mobility. Turbo Tails, with the fur almost all gone and everything, comes in on Super Gores side and flips the pincer over!
FLIP!
Now, Super Gore is inverted, but look at that! Straight away, it turns and clamps onto Turbo Tails, there! The urethane rubber coated claws keeps Turbo Tails tightly inside the claws! OI! Turbo Tails gets away somehow, and spins up to deadly speed! The blade hits the back armour of Super Gore!
CRASH!!!
WOAH!! The blade rips into the back and makes a huge scratch! But considering it can still move freely, Super Gore is still okay. Now, Turbo Tails gets under the side of the great pincer and flips it!
FLIP!
The flip sends Super Gore onto its right side up, and Super Gore dodges that rear blade! Now it gets its pincers into play again, and grabs Turbo Tails! Turbo Tails is being pushed towards the pit, and cannot get away... and BOOM! Its over in less than a minute and a half!

Turbo Tails looks more like Turbo Fails. :proud:

Dont see how Liar would win in a pushing match so I assume its gonna use its flipper. :proud: Its the same height as Turbo Tails, so Ill use the clamping claws again. Looking at Liar 2s render, the shape of my claws might actually be able to slide right in between the wheel and the side and pin it. After that, just pit Liar. Nothing fancy. If I get caught on Liars wedge, drive off, tis one of the great things about tracks. Flipping me does nothing, but OOTAing does. :proud:

Dan OHagan: The heat final is between Liar 2 and Super Gore Evo, all of these robots highly respected in tournaments like Robot SMASH!, Easter Bunny Tribute, and many others. So, quite a difficult one for me. However, if I had to go for one robot in this fight it would be Super Gore Evo. I predict that Liar will get multiple flips, BUT Super Gore Evo has the better traction and pushing power, so I will guess that it will dump Liar in the pit. Anyway, lets go and see what happens!

So, into the heat final we go. Remember, that these robots have fought before, and immediately, Liar gets underneath, and flips the pincer over!
FLIP!
Now, Super Gore is overturned, but it SLAMS into Liars rear end, and it clamps the wheels! Now, dents start to appear in the wheels of Liar, there! Liar escapes, and again, the flipper gets underneath the rear end, and flips Super Gore over!
FLIP!
Coming in for the kill again, Super Gore SLAMS into the pit button... and dislodges it from the wall. Aargh. :angry: Well have words with you later, Kody! :wink: Now, Liar drives into Super Gores side, but no flipping it makes. But hey! Look at this! Super Gore turns and clamps the side! What an interesting turn of events! :proud: Liars wheels try to spin frantically to get away, and now... eh... ah! Super Gore Evo lets go, and Liar is freed from Super Gores grasp! Now, Liar immediately turns and again, it gets underneath, and...
FLIP!
... makes a HUGE flip there! Now, Super Gore Evo is overturned again! Super Gore continues to go for the jugular, and Liar, at the same time, is also trying to get underneath the ground clearence of Super Gore, but Super Gore turns around, charges at the sides, and clamps Liars axle! Tense battle here, so far. Now, Liars wheels are spinning, but it cant seem to get away from the claws, here. Anyway, Super Gore is now driving towards the pit there... AND TAKES LIAR WITH IT! Liar is trying frantically to escape... OI! Super Gore lets go! Liar has been freed once again, and now, Liar is sort of limping along, here, and unable to move freely... there seems to be some damage caused to the wheel axle by Super Gores claws. Now, this means that Super Gore can choose the angle and position of assault, and Super Gore gets at the sides of Liar again, and clamps it! Liar is being dragged into the hammers! The 50kg hammers come down!
WHAM!!
OH! The armour takes damage, and now, Super Gore still grabs tight hold of Liars wheel, and drives towards the pit again! Liar cant get away, and before Martijn knows it, Liar plummets into the hole with a thud!
CEASE!

Sam: Aww, so close.
Martijn: Yeah, I know. I looked forward to winning another heat, and getting my revenge, but alas, NO!
Sam: To be honest, I thought you were going to win! What went wrong there?
Martijn: Well, he had the better traction, and after he grabbed hold of my wheel axle, I think that caused some problems to the mobility.
Sam: Well, at least you have one robot through to the semis.
Martijn: (Chuckles)
Sam: Are you going to come back next year?
Martijn: Id love to!
Sam: All right, lets hear it for the gallant contender, LIAR 2!!!!
(CROWD CHEERS)
Sam: Well, another awesome job done by Kody Kunz, there.

Sam: Now, he had you on the ropes in the beginning. What was your tactic?
Kody: Well, after getting multiple flips from the flipper, I figured his weak spot was the wheels, and sure enough, the claws grabbed tight hold, and I was able to put him in the drink.
Sam: Great job for winning ANOTHER heat. Is Super Gore going all the way?
Kody: You bet!
Sam: All right, everyone, your winner for Heat O... SUPER GORE EVOOOOO!!!!
(CROWD CHEEERS)
