Are you refering to one of my pneumatics pages?
http://www.teamonslaught.fsnet.co.uk/pneu.htm
If so he would me and yes the QEV is similar if not the same.
ahhh yes goodgood... if i was to get the burkert 5404 can i run full pressure?
Short answer ..Yes.
so 1/8 is 6mm?
Use Alans (Woodys) excellent spreadsheet to see what different size cylinders will do... http://www.teamonslaught.fsnet.co.uk/Max.xls ...and check the manufactures specs, esp. weight.Quote:

NO ..3mm is the equiv of 1/8 and 6mm is the equiv of 1/4
They are not an EXACT conversion but a close equivalent.
BUT ..If your refering to pneumatic / hydraulic port sizes it's more complicated... the port size refers to the inside dia of the pipe that the thread is ON and has no numerical relationship at all to the hole size.
I did give you a link to my threads page.
Here's a helpful bit of software for you for normal conversions.

Thx alot woody
I'm going with 1/4= about 6mm
of about 25 bore and 80 stroke
and I still need to get a reg ( pref from a shop)
and a 5/2 valve from technobots or eBay or airway pneumatics
but on the pneumatic place do u just plug th coil into the black thing poking out
Theo
P.S stop nicking my topic
Download and print out this pdf.
It has a measuring guide for pipe/ gas threads

Edit ..I'll post a pic later of a valve for you ....dismantled and assembled
Thank woody for going to get the valve pictures :D
Just the reg, cylinder, valve and bottle to buy
need to find a reg place
