hey guys i thought id make an ant weight tournie where i need 6 people to enter 2 antweights simply for
the hell of it
the arena
just imagine all battlebox hazards mixed in with robot wars hazards
hope this will increase intrest in antweight vapourboteering :)

Mainly the 50% drop off rule.
If so, I might enter depending on when stats have to be in by.
It might help for when I (eventually) build something.

I'll team up with Leo & Kody on Pants. My disc(powered by a brushless motor at 12000rpm) will destroy that thing. Admittingly if I'm flipped over, I'll be an easy target(though I'm not technically invertible, my wheels can carry me to the wall and by disc can flip me back over), but I should be able to kill Pants easily. Kill anything else that attacks me.

Team up with Leo to destroy Iowa. Crushers don't really do much, so I should be safe.
For No Idea, since there is no drop-off, try and stack the opponent against the wall I guess.

No, this is reality. With spinners in ants, you have 2 second fights. Victory is determined who instigated the attack.
Don't I know it... Same happened while I was competing in Florida, except in that case, when the 2 spinners hit, one flew OOTA while the other stayed in!

oh yes we have our own arena the BATTLEGROUND!!!! is a unique arena with battlebot and robot wars hazards
(minus the flame pit) so we keep the killsaws,pit,flippers and pulverizers but thats not all, if you get oota'ed the walls
will drop so you can drive back in 8)
so enough of my rambling lets go down to max green near the arena

flamberge begins to spin as variant uses its wedge to get underneath nano nightmare but nano fights back by flipping it
over with its disc and again as no idea lifts combat ant up from the rear and combat ant shoots out of the arena now
the walls drop as combat ant drives back in but no idea has them and slams them against the arena wall as pants comes
in and tries to cause some damage but flamberge comes in and tears off a wheel and nano comes in and tears the other
one off in dramatic style, now flamberge shreds the axe off with heavy force now no idea pushes it onto the pit release
and into the pit as nano shoves variant into the killsaws and pushes them in the pit and goes in itself, a pit party at its
best

Anyways, attack Variant. If I did that much damage to it in round 1, attacking it again should be a good idea.

btw anticide is a pneumaticly powered flipper that has one the last 3 aws's
sorry jack but the stats on rr say that it has interchangable weaponry so from now on itll be a spinner
Hmm... My tactics depend on whether Variant is a vertical or Horizontal spinner.
If it's a vertical spinner, go after it. Many have tried, but few have succeeded in making a good vertical spinner, so I'll use my superior agility to get around to the side and tear it to shreds. Hit anyone who interferes with me destroying him with the disc to scare them off, then go back and continue killing Variant.
If it's a horizontal spinner, then go after Combat-Ant. Attack the robot from the side with my vertical spinning disc, and try to rip off those wheels. If he tries to use his disc on me, hit the disc with mine and rip it off. Try to immobilize Combat-Ant as quick as possible.
My tactics... Go after No Idea and shred its tracks, avoiding Nano-Nightmare at all costs.

now no idea slams variant against the wall, now flamberge smashes combat ant so hard it rips the rear disc off of
combat ant and is flung onto the flipper and is now on one wheels as variant whirrs up the disc to full speed and WHACK
there goes combat ant across the arena again as no idea now rams nano into the mini pulverizer, but it cause no
damage as no idea turns its attention towards combat ant and powerslams it against the wall as flamberge slams into
variant which retaliates sending showers off sparks across the arena now no idea hits the pit release as nano slams into
combat ant and now it cant move, as variant comes in and tears off a wheel now nano takes on flamberge as no idea
puts combat ant on the flipper and is now tossed across the arena 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10

Technology and advances in antweight design have moved on a hell of a lot since then :P at the last AWS there were at least five vertical spinners, none of which self destructed and several of which did an awful lot of damage, as well as loads of horizontal spinners (Little Yellow Taxi among them :)) and one full body spinner even, none of which did any major damage to themselves (although a few blades zinged off and Mutant was its usual happy unstable self)
