Virtual Robot Wars
This is a thread designed to be a virtual robot wars-esque competition. Just name you robot and I will put it in the competition. Note: I can only have 128 robots in the competition, so pick any. Stinger, S3, Lightning, Tanto, Big Nipper, Merlin, and any others are accepted.
Best regards,
Mark Elam, Team Corsair.

Virtual Robot Wars
Id like more details sir, whats this VRW all about? We all enter 1 real bot?
-
Virtual Robot Wars
ok. here are the rules:
this is a robot wars rules competition, with extra sidegames to make it look better. Series 7 heat rules used. 4 bots face off in 2 round 1 battles. the remaining bots will fight each other, and theere will be a heat final to decide who goes through to the semi-finals.
As for robots, if you have a real robot, like Craig Danby has Tanto, you can enter your real robot. If you do not have a real bot, you may choose from any battlebots us or robot wars uk/us robots. please name your robot, and I will put it on the list.
Yes Liam, You can enter now. please state you robots name.
Martijn, you and a couple of other roboteers can all enter one bot, or you as a person could enter your own bot. up to 5 people per bot.
-
Virtual Robot Wars
Even if every single person around enters 5 robots each, you arent going to make 128. Look around at some other peoples tournaments. I suggest maybe 16 people with 8 robots each if you are looking for a large tournament. I also highly suggest you allow vapourbots rather than just real robots.
-
Virtual Robot Wars
Ill take Mortis, please. Series 4 version.
-
Virtual Robot Wars
-
Virtual Robot Wars
ok, you can now use vapourbots, imaginary bots, or game bots along with real bots.
-
Virtual Robot Wars
How many robots per person? Like Andy said, youre going to have a hard time getting 128 people to compete.
-
Virtual Robot Wars
ok, new plans. we are going to have 64 bots instead.
-
Virtual Robot Wars

Virtual Robot Wars
Sorry, I 4got the weight of Brutalis 1.0. Its 100kg,as its my 1st vapourbot Im really plzd u think its a contender!
-
Virtual Robot Wars
k, Ill change my entry than, if Im allowed to use fantasy-parts
Name - If it looks like a tank...
Shape - See the link at the bottom of this post
Weight - 100 Kilogram
Speed - 15 mph
Dimensions - 90x80x25 cm
Ground Clearance - 0 right underneath the tracks, but pretty big everywhere else
Power - I asked an over-muscular dwarf to power a hamster-wheel. Dwarfs are much cheaper and lighter than LEMs and given the right medicin deliver aLOT more power. Also dwarfs dont get tired.
Movement - A pair of tracks. The tracks themselves are made of whateverium which has the feature that its indestructible. I sprayed a layer of cantthinkofanameium-spray over the tracks which has the feature that it cant be pushed by other bots.
Turning Circle - Zero
Weaponry - A pnuematic spike which comes out horizontally from the upper part of the robot, at about 15 cm from the ground. The spike comes out a large barrel which is mounted on a free moving turret, mounted on top of the machine. The spike is powered by a 2 kg gas tank which contains CO8, 4 times as powerful as CO2, and it has the feature that it goes back into the gas tank after use, AND that it can savely be stored at 15000 PSI, the spike comes out with 4000 kJ.
Armour - Like the tracks, 1 mm of whateverium, which cant be destroyed by any means, I sprayed the whole machine with onetwothreeium-spray, which has the feature that it cant be flipped by any means.
Srimech - The onetwothreeium-spray makes sure I wont be flipped.
Notes - This machine is so dangerous that when not in use, its guarded by 2 dwarfs 24/7, as can be seen in the picture.
