Vapourbot Grand Championships 2006
Well I did promise didnt I?
OK, basically Ive realised that I dont have the patience for writing majors, and thus this is going to be a small affair. This will be done primarily in my holiday, my aim is to get a heat done every day.
So quick overview of rules:
2 entrants per person
Infinite number of people, however stats (and thus obviously entries) must be in by the friday after this.
Clusterbots allowed up to a sensible number of parts
Weights -
Walkers: 200kg
Shufflers: 150kg
Tracks: 115kg
Standard stats required (take a look at any of my bots for what Im looking for)
Flyers are not allowed (not that anyone has any that Im aware of)
Spinners limited to 2000 rpm
*Tournament will be structured according to number of entries I get but will theoretically hold a basic seed structure which will mean there are eight heats (or prehaps mini-heats). There are eight seeds, which, if entered (and I can resolve it down to eight heats), are as follows:
1st: Tempest Evil-oution
2nd: Hefty Kick in the Balls
3rd: SD IV
4th: Flipping Hell
5th: Stratos-fear
6th: The Disc 2
7th: Wedga EVO
8th: Killotine
* This is subject to change depending on entries
Any other information wanted? If not, get entering!

Vapourbot Grand Championships 2006
Ill enter Batmobile and Ringwraith.
BATMOBILE
Weight: 100kg
Shape: Like the Batmobile from Batman Begins (http://www.starstore.com/acatalog/Batman_Begins_Batmobile-L.jpghttp://www.starstore.com/acatalog/Ba...atmobile-L.jpg), except it has an arm going between the front wheels, with a flat plate at the end. It has a static spike where the exhaust is at the back.
Dimensions: 100 x 40 x 40
Speed: 20mph
Ground Clearance: 0mm at front due to plate on arm; 8mm at sides, 15mm at rear
Armour: 5mm titanium
Wheels: 4, outside robot
Power: 4 Perm 080s motors on 24V powered by 24V @ 12amp batteries
Weapons: At the front is a pneumatic lifting arm - it attaches at the top, goes down diagonally, inbetween the front wheels, and at the end is a plate lying flat across the ground to get under other robots. At the back, where the exhaust is on the real thing, is a static spike.
Srimech: Arm acts as srimech
Tactics: Run into opponents, lift them and carry them around, and ram them with the spike if they cant be lifted or attack from the rear.
Strengths: Good traction and pushing power; fast; manouverable
Weaknesses: Exposed wheels; high ground clearance; slow srimech
RINGWRAITH (formerly Daniel Sticklers Dervish)
Weight: 100kg
Shape: Invertable cylinder on its side, like Barberous, but weapon shaped like Pussycats blade from Series 4 & 5 (side on - its wider of course), painted black
Dimensions: 100 x 30 x 30
Speed: 18mph
Ground Clearance: 10mm
Turning Circle: 0
Armour: 15mm LexiGuard inside and a 30kg Duralumin spinning blade
Wheels: 2, outside robot
Power: 36V battery and motors
Weapon: 30kg Duralumin spinning body. It is powered by a C40-400 at 36V geared 3:1 and can reach a top speed of 900RPM. The entire robot is shaped like Pussycats blade from Series 4 & 5 and is designed to tear into all sorts of armour. The tips of the blades are made from Grade 5 Titanium. Its weapon acts like Corkscrew or Warhog and has a greater power than Matildas flywheel - it can cut into 5mm Titanium.
Srimech: Invertable
Tactics: Just keep slamming into opponents with the spinning body and turn into them to try and keep them from hitting me.
Strengths: Hard to attack, manouverable, powerful weaponry
Weaknesses: Exposed wheels, tricky to control
-
Vapourbot Grand Championships 2006
Ill enter Manic Monsoon and Pure Evil: Return of the Disc.
Name: Manic Monsoon
Weight: 100kg
Armour: 5mm Hardox all over.
Speed: Roughly 28mph
Shape: Box wedge with side skirts and rounded back.
Weapon 1: A linear actuator powered lifter running by a 4 bar system at 24v. This can lift 200kg easily.
Weapon 2: A small strip of Grade 5 Titanium on the front wedge, which gives 0mm ground clearance.
Strengths: Powerful drive and good strong weapon
Weaknesses: A bit too fast and hard to control when at full speed.
Ground Clearance: 0mm on front and sides, 1cm at back.
Srimech: Invertible, but can self right using the lifter if wanted to.
Notes: The robot is powered by 2 B42-500 MagMotors running at 60v. This gives Monsoon approx 60HP! The robot has a total of 6 wheels, 3 on each side. Each side is linked together by a set of heavy duty belts, giving 0m turning circle and the manoeuvrability of a 2 wheeled bot, and each wheel is coated in Vulcalon. The front wedge is angled at 42.5 degrees, meaning that it is not too steep or too shallow. The lifting arm is powered by a S28-150 MagMotor, and is made from 7075 Aluminium. The lifter itself can lift a total of 200kg, and can self right the robot if needs be. The side skirts are made from 4mm Titanium and are hinged.
Name: Pure Evil: Revenge of the Disc
Weight: 100kg
Armour: 7mm Hardox ring spinner and 4mm Titanium flipper/wedge.
Speed: 8mph
Shape: It is a ring spinner with a front wedge.
Weapon 1: The main body is a ring spinner made from 7mm Hardox, with Titanium teeth all over it. It is powered by a LEM130 motor at 48v geared down 3:1. This means the body can reach a top speed of roughly 2000RPM. The disc weighs a total of 38kg.
Weapon 2: A spinning kinetic powered flipper, based on Team Whyachi€™s €œWarrior SKF€Â. It uses the kinetic energy from the disc to power the flipper, meaning it can flip with a total of 298KJ of energy when the disc is spinning at top speed.
Strengths: Unique and powerful weaponry. Good control.
Weaknesses: Takes a long time to self right due to the disc needing to spin up successfully.
Ground Clearance: 0mm at front and sides of flipper, 5mm at back due to ring spinner.
Srimech: The flipper can successfully self right the robot.
Notes: The robot is powered by 2 800w 36v DC motors giving 8mph top speeds. The wheels are made from Vulcalon, and have screws embedded in them to help gan traction on the arena floor. The ring spinner is powered by a LEM130 motor at 48v geared down 3:1. This means the body can reach a top speed of 2000RPM. There are 15 1€ cubed Titanium teeth all over the horizontal spinner, giving it 298KJ of energy on impact. The flipper works because there is an eccentric land on top of the spinning ring. The top link connected to the flipper plate has a groove in it, when fired the top link engages with the spinner land and pulls backward flipping the plate up. At the front of the flipper there is a 4mm Titanium €œnose€ with a sharpened edge designed to get under all skirts and ground clearances. All the electrics are kept within the 1m diameter of the ring spinner.

Vapourbot Grand Championships 2006
1
Name: Tempest: Evil-er-oution
Shape: Disc shaped
Weight: ~100 KGs
Size: 65 x 20 CM (DH)
Speed: 15 MPH
Ground clearance: 1 CM all round
Motors: The two wheels are powered by S28-300 Magmotors at 24 volts, but the weapon is powered by a LEM 130 Lynch motor at 48 volts. These are powered by battlepack NiCDs.
Wheels: Two. These have only semi-good traction, to prevent it staying near the opponent after striking. Again, they€™re stuffed instead of pumped.
Weapon: Full body spinner, can reach speeds of 2000 RPM. It now has interchangeable tooth options. Options 1,2 and 3 have four teeth, and are the classic backward hook shape, while option 4 has two and are flatter.
Option 1: Short 2 CM cutting teeth, for robots with weak armour and no wedge. I€™m not expecting to use these much.
Option 2: These are basic 6 CM teeth. These should still give Tempest enough range to out-strike other spinners and hit wedges before they get in under the main body.
Option 3: This is a set of 15.5 CM teeth. Used for shallow wedges and spinners with longer teeth.
Option 4: Two 25 CM teeth, running as close to the floor as possible. These are used against machines with high GC€™s, enabling it to chop up the wheels and damage the drive chain better. Like option 1, I€™m not expecting to use these much, but y€™never know.
Armour: 8 mm grade 5 Ti for the rim, 1 CM Aluminium at the top and bottom.
Srimech: Runs either way up. If the weapon is running, it cant stay on its side.
Extras: Deliberately bounces off of things it hits, so that its just about impossible to push, and also has time to spin up to a damaging speed again. There is rubber tape at all places where two pieces of metal join, and it has rubber shock pads mounted at strategic places on the inside, and the important components are foam mounted, allowing it to absorb its own impacts very well.
Safety link: In the centre of the machine, accessible at both top and bottom thanks to panels.
Strengths: Damaging weapon, it€™s very reliable, is hard to predict and cannot be shoved around.
Weaknesses: Is also pretty hard to control because I€™ll never know exactly where it lands. Wheels are exposed to axes, but are stuffed so won€™t take too much damage from them.
2
Name: I.D.S.F.A
Shape: Similar to Raging Knightmare..
Weight: 100 KGs
Speed: 20 MPH
GC: 0 at front, 1 CM at back and sides. 0 with skirts at back and sides.
Drive: 4 wheel drive, powered by two LEM 130 Lynch motors at 48 volts.
Weapon 1: A front hinged flipper on the front, using two 120 stroke, 80 bore rams on 250 PSI. Don€™t know how much it should be able to tip over, but should manage other robots fine. There is a lead weight bolted inside the machine in the far front to give it a little weight and ensure it can get under other machines, along with a sharp strip on the front to let it slide under skirts. There is also a speed bump on the end of the flipper to make sure fast robots like Storm 2 can€™t just drive straight over it.
Weapon 2: A rear steel horizontal disc. This weighs in at 15 KGs, and deals out 10 KJ€™s.
Armour: The front flipper plate is made of 4 MM hardox, and the rest of the machine is 4 MM grade 5 Ti.
Skirts: Made of 3 mm Grade 5 Ti. These are held down with springs, but not the dual sprung monsters as seen on SpinVerter. Just regular springs like on Storm 2 to make them a little harder to get under than regular hinged skirts.
Srimech: The flipper. The weight installed in the front of the machine makes sure it rests on the flipper and not on its back, for more efficient self righting.
Strengths: Fast drive and good flipper mean it could get under and throw over opponents before they can even move.
Weaknesses: Armour and rear flywheel compromised for weight.

Vapourbot Grand Championships 2006
Orka Mk4 and Mega Masher 2 will be representing good ol Team Dinowarrior.
ORKA MK4
Weight: 100 kilos
Body Shape: Behemoth
Speed: Some 15mph
TC: 0
GC: 2mm, 0mm at front.
Wheels; 6 inner
Armour; 7mm titanium
Power; 3x 12v batteries, powered by a couple of Magmotors
Colour; Black with white patches
Weapons; A Behemoth like bucket scoop, made from titanium, and quite capable of lifting 300 kilos. It has a claw like device to grab an oppodent, like the claw on Mantis. The scoop is pnumatically powered, and has about 45 odd flips.
Srimech: It has a dorsal fin on top used for self-righting
Inspiration; Ive always liked Orcas. Adding the K made it sound more dangerous.
Strengths; Weapon
Weaknessess: Hard to turn
BIO
Every big team needs some big star to bring in the crowds. My big name is Orka MK4, representing Team Dinowarrior in all its glory.
No one is faster, smarter or more agile than Orka Mk4. When charging, other robots need to get out of his way. He can flip just about ANYTHING that doesnt take the warning, or simply grab hold of them. Hes ready for battle! Are you?
MEGA MASHER 2
Weight: 100 kilos
Body Shape: Minion
Speed: 12mph
TC: 0
GC; 0 at front, 1mm at sides due to skirts.
Wheels; 4 inner.
Armour: A nice 3mm of steel
Power: Similar stuff to what Tornado uses.
Colour: Red and yellow.
Weapons; The front is a wedge, and the back has a nasty vertical disc, powered by its own motor and spinning at 2000 rpm. It can probably flip as well as damage. A side Minion style bar comes out from the side.
Srimech: The aforementioned bar rights the robot, even though it can run inverted.
Inspiration; This is probably the only robot I have where I have had no inspiration. It just came as a good name.
Strengths: Power, weaponary
Weaknessess: A little bulky, not as heavy as the body would suggest.
BIO
Mega Masher is still hell bent on robot destruction. Whether you think of him as the baddest, most brutal robot ever or just a power crazed crazy thing - just dont tell him when his disc is spinning at full throttle! His wedge is also dangerous; being one of the lowest out there. Dont trust this robot to lose as far as you can throw him! Even better, dont try to throw him at all; hes based around Battlebot champion Minion, and way too bulky for flipping.

Vapourbot Grand Championships 2006
look, Im posting stats :proud:
Name - Back to Rock II
Shape - A box with a slightly sloped front
Weight - 100 Kilogram
Speed - 29 km/h (18mph)
Dimensions - 90x75x30 cm
Ground Clearance - 0 at sides and front, 2 mm at the back
Power - 2x Etek motors at 48 volt
Movement - Four wheels, 20cm diameter
Turning Circel - Zero
Weaponry - It has a broad hydraulic lifting arm which can easily lift 200 kg. To easily get underneath an opponent, it has two lifting plates at the bottom of the arm, one on the left end and one on the right end, instead of one large lifting plate like Behemoth.
Between the two plates, in the centre of the scoop, I mounted a vertical diamond edged Pussycat-style blade, powered by a S28-150 Magmotor, spinning upwards at approximately 3000 RPM, which will hopefully rip off some armour, or more likely, a tire, while lifting an opponent. Jamming a blade into an opponent while lifting it hopefully provides as much control over an opponent than a Behemoth-style grabbing claw/axe can, and it€™ll surely do more damage. (To avoid confusion, the blade is actually part of the lifter, so when the lifter moves up, the blade moves along).
On both sides of the bots is a pair of 5 mm titanium skirts, to make sure I won€™t get flipped very often, as hydraulic srimechs just aren€™t as fast as pnuematic ones.
Armour - 6 mm titanium all around
Srimech - The lifter self-rights the robot when needed
Strenghts - Nice weapon synergy, high traction, low ground clearance
Weakness - Hydraulic srimech might prove to be slow
A picture can be found here: http://jupiter.walagata.com/w/madbull/BacktoRockII.gifhttp://jupiter.walagata.com/w/madbull/BacktoRockII.gif
and
Name - Axe to Fall
Shape - Take a cylinder, cut it in halve, and then put it on the ground, rectangular side heading downwards. The straight ends are the left and right sides, and are sloped. (Well, just take a look at the picture =P )
Weight - 100 Kilogram
Speed - 24 km/h (15 mph)
Dimensions - 115x80x40 cm (due to axe hanging out, main body is 80x80x40 cm)
Ground Clearance - 0 at front, 7 mm anywhere else
Power - 2x LEM130s at 48v
Movement - Four inner wheels, 10cm diameter
Turning Circle - Zero
Weaponry - The main weapon is a 5 kg double-headed axe on top of the machine, it€™s a steel 80 cm shaft with two diamond edged blades made of hardox on the end of it. The blades are shaped like the Mortis€™ blades, in order to create some nice slices into opposing armour.
The whole axe is powered by 2 nitrogen bottles at 1000 psi, a 1 kg buffer bottle and a 30 mm bore ram, for fast and furious hits, with a downforce of almost 2 ton brought onto a fine blade, and an energy unleash which seems significantly higher than for example Beta€™s if my calculations are right.
At the front of Axe to Fall is a small wedge/ram made out of 8 mm Titanium, to lift my opponent€™s wheels into air while clobbering them with my blade, or perhaps even to grab him. This ram is also my plan B if my axe fails in battle, just ram them hard using my good traction.
Armour - 8 mm Titanium front and 15 mm polycarb for the rest of the bot.
There are also two small blocks of vulcanized rubber on the mid-front and the mid-back of my machine, to absorb the downforce where the axe hits the chassis.
Srimech - The axe acts as a srimech, thanks to the curved shape of the top my bot can self right in no time, even if it has to self right over the wedged front (the wedge is very small mind you).
To make sure my bot won€™t end up on his side, I created a pair of curves on both sides, as can be seen on the picture.
Strengths - Destructive weapon, quick at self righting
Weakness - Weapon only works when opponent is in front of or behind the machine.

Vapourbot Grand Championships 2006
Ill enter Infusion Beta and Acid Burn (Stats up later for ACid Burn)
Name: Infusion Beta
Motivation: 4 x 125mm wheels
Speed: 0-12MPH [25MPH under Kinetic Boost (K-Boost)]
Clearance: 7.5mm (same inverted) 0mm at the front, the wedge scraps the floor.
Weight: 100kg
Height: 125mm
Length: 800mm
Width: 600mm
Weapon: The weapon is a 28kg Hardox spinning ring (Ala MDU) powered by a LEM170 @ 36v. The rim rotates at 2000rpm and should spin up within 2 seconds max. The weapon is also a storage device for the drive. The spinning rim is connected to each side of the drive via a car air conditioner clutch, when the clutches are engaged, the 28kg kinetic storage bank(the spinning rim) transfers its energy into the drive train. The kinetic boost has a slight modification since the previous version of this robot, the K-Boost now has adjustible gearing between the clutch and the wheels. Low, Medium & High gearing is selectable prior to a battle. In low gear, speed is only boosted to 15MPH but torque is approx. 8 times higher with roughly 10seconds of boost. In Medium gear, speed is boosted to 20MPH and torque is approx. 4 times higher with 6 seconds of boost. High gear, speed is boosted to 25MPH and torque is increased approx 1.75 time higher and limited to 3 seconds of boost. This extra €˜kinetic€™ boost is used to ram into opponents with the front 10mm thick Hardox 500 wedge (similar to the one on Warrior SKF but wider and less depth to it). The front wedge is rubber shock mounted to ensure it survives the biggest of hits.
Drive: 2 x C40-500 Magmotors on 36v geared 7.5:1. The drive is also assisted via the spinning rim as explain above.
Batteries: 120 x 3600mAh NiCad Cells made into 36v packs. Produces 36v @ 14.4Amp/Hours
Armour: Front wedge is made entirely out of 8mm Hardox 500, the top and bottom of the robot is made out of 8mm Titanium/Vandium, The ring is made out of 10mm Hardox 400 with inner bracing to the perimeter bearing. Inner bulk heads are made from 20mm polycarbonate and 10mm aluminium.
Notes: Invertible, speed when needed and generally well controlled for a spinner. Ram or Spin, Infusion aims to win!
Tharr you go Alex

Vapourbot Grand Championships 2006
I havent done something crazy like this in a while, so just to exploit it while I can, before Alex boycotes this design like Gas Turbine MDU ;-)
Name: Acid Burn
Motivation: 6 Shuffling Pads
Speed: 8MPH
Weight: 150kg
Height: 200mm
Length: 1200mm
Width: 1200mm
Weapon: The weapon is an out rigger spinning cage like The Plague which is mounted to an inner 25kg shuffling robot, which controls the direction of the weapon. The spinning cage has 3 wheels which friction drive it via the ground, each wheel is powered by a LEM200D @ 60v (52 Peak HP each). Each has a variable ratio drive installed allowing it to go from 5:1 to 1:1 gearing dependant on drive load. The full spinning cage weights 125Kg and rotates @ 1800rpm and delivers its explosive kinetic energy via 3 large teeth mounted 10mm from the floor.
Drive: 2 x S28-150 Magmotors on 24v driving 6 shuffle pads
Batteries: 80 x 4200mAh Intellect NiMH producing 24v @ 8.4AH for the drive. 500 x 3600mAh NiCD producing 60v @ 36AH
Armour: 5mm Hardox 600 chassis, 3mm polycarb top covers,
Notes: Not invertible. Designed to be a rule bending robot, small little shuffling navigation bot with a 125kg weapon built around it and spun up on wheels. Legitimate, but bendy ;-) Picture coming soon, once I render it :proud:

Oh yeah can I change one of my bots if so then Flipe which is exactly the same as Ripe apart from it has toy Flippys on the flipper and in front of the safety camera so that means it cant see anything.

Vapourbot Grand Championships 2006
Just for reference: If I am dubious abotu stats when I look through them on Friday I will post back here and give 2 days to fix them or Ill do it myself. This will entail me looking closely through your stats and makign assumptions that dont compromise what you have written, but may possibly compromise what youve ommitted.
Example: If you are over weight and dont mention a chassis, dont expect one.

Vapourbot Grand Championships 2006
Im afriad to say Timothy that I cant understand a single thing you said in that last post... What I got is that you wanted to change one bot to Flipe which is like Ripe but with a flipper. By the way, what exactly are these safety cameras you keep mentioning?

The safety cameras are that when my footy bots go to the ball because it has nasty weaponry I put safety cameras in so it doesnt hurt any robots.

Right then:
Name - Mr Bob
Mass: ~ 97 kg
Body Shape - Think Tornado shaped, with a rear hinged wedge. Front end is like tornado€™s scoop in series 7 (with that flail)
Speed: 14 mph, modest but controllable from rest with basic traction control preventing wheel spin
GC: At the front, the wedge is about 0.2mm off the ground, the sides is 2 cm and the rear is the same, but the rear wedge reduces the GC to 1mm. The 2cm ground clearance should prevent getting grounded on the arena
Wheels; 4 solid go-kart indoor wheels with added grip
Armour; Steel ladder style-chassis with support in the right places, 4mm aluminium panels bolted from the inside to the chassis. 20mm foam between panels and stuff inside.
Power; Twin Bosch 750 drive @ 36 volts, tornado style speed controllers and drive system.
Colour; Blue
Weapons; That little flail in the front wedge
Srimech: Invertible
Strengths; Simple, might be good
Weaknesses: Simple, might be crap
And put in chalkie 3G, but reduce the power of the spinner to 2000 rpm. http://farr.proboards21.com/index.cgi?board=TeamSolarizedStats&action=display& thread=1118787084http://farr.proboards21.com/index.cg...ion=display&th read=1118787084

Argh! I need one other person to enter as I cant break down the heats with this number of people. I need either one more entrant or three (the latter is preferable) so could I get someone in here?
Dave W, Martyn, Chris C or Tom?

Right - now one more space and I can have a decent heat system! (A seven ehat system would be kind of rubbish) - but one mroe entry and we can do the draw.

Vapourbot Grand Championships 2006
I suppose that will have to do: I get heats done as quickly as I can, theyre only three fights each. Matt your robots are replaced with place holders, however, if someone else who hasnt already entered puts entries in them first then they get the spots. Ive left your heats til last so I can get on with it in the meantime.

Vapourbot Grand Championships 2006
BIACS-LE
Weight- 100.3kg (WDOR)
Dimensions- H- 65cm, L- 65cm, W- 75cm
Speed- 11mph, 5.1 m/s
Shape- Somewhere between S6 Sabretooth and Atilla the Drum.
Locomotion- 2x Motorbike wheels with screws embedded. These are bigger diameter than the robot itself.
Ground Clearance- Massive
Turning Circle- 0
Armour- A cage made from a 3mm titanium mesh with moulded 8mm fibre glass armour over that.
Power- 2x S28-400€™s at 24V giving 9BHp. These are powered by some TMC batteries at 24V.
Removable link position- Inside the left wheel, as far in as possible whilst keeping it accessible.
Weapon- As before, the weapon is a 300mm 18kg vertical disc on an arm, which can swing right through the whole arc of the robot, and is capable of coming down with a thump. The blades are mounted diagonally, which means that they are capable of both flipping and ripping. The cage can also swing over the top, protecting the axle and wheels from the side that is unprotected by the disc. This means that other than the cage, nothing can be damaged apart from the disc. It should produce about 62Kj. It€™s powered by another S28-400 on 24V and has a spin-up time of 4.7 seconds.
Srimech- Invertible
Strengths- Powerful weaponry. Manouvreable, Strong
Weaknesses- Low traction, slow acceleration.
Weight distribution.
Chassis- 8kg
Armour- 28kg
Batteries- 7kg
Motors- 6.2kg
Locomotion- 14kg
Weaponry- 27kg
Weapon Power- 3.1kg
Electronics- 7kg
TOTAL- 100.3kg
B2B (Back 2 Basics)
Weight- 100.6kg
Dimensions- L-75cm W-54cm H- 36.5cm
Speed- 8.5mph/ 3.8 m/s. This however still gives excellent acceleration and the speed of the hits will help us do the Tornado thing:proud:
Shape- Normal Wedge, with rollbars on the back panel made from welded 1cm titanium.
Locomotion- 2 x 270mm diameter wheels with custom cut treads from an old adapted Go-Kart
Ground Clearance- 0 at front, 0 underneath hinged skirts at sides, 4mm underneath skirts and at back.
Turning Circle-0
Power- 2 x 36V Dustin Motors running off 3 x 24V TMC batteries weighing a total of 9kg for the batteries plus 2.6kg for the motors (Lightweight or what:proud:). It gives a total (Presuming efficiency is at maximum) of 4.42BHp. Not the best shover, but with the wedge shaped, the idea will be that before pushing you scoop the wheels off the ground.
Armour- 7mm Titanium/Vanadium Alloy all around weighing a total of 28.4940747kg for the whole body. The titanium bars on the back weigh a total of about 8.4kg.
Chassis- The chassis is made of 1cm aluminium bars, and weighs around 12kg.
Weapon 1- The weapon is a Helium powered flipper, with 2 x 3kg helium rams, capable of firing about 40 times within the course of a fight, and despite running off just 400psi, is easily capable of flipping 250kg. The rams in total, plus gas, and bottles etc. weighs around 16kg and the actual flipper is made out of 4mm Titanium/Vanadium alloy and is around two-thirds the width of the body and goes up the whole wedge. It weighs 5.022kg.
Weapon 2- the bottom of the front wedge is an entirely detachable wedge made of 1cm aluminium. It€™s been designed to be heavy enough to prevent the front wheelying when driving, and therefore means that it should be simple to flip any robots over. It covers about 10cm of the wedge, and is more than capable of resisting attacks. It€™s been designed well and uses the force of gravity and balance to keep it down, whilst only weighing 3.288384kg in total.
Removable Link Position- In a hole with a swinging flap about 10cm into the back panel, but you have to get past the rollbars to get to it.
Srimech- The flipper acts as a self-righter, and will always land on his wheels thanks to the rollbars on the back, once we self-right. The only time this won€™t work is if we can€™t get enough pressure in the ram to fire us over.
Strengths- Powerful, long-lasting weaponry. Manouvreable. Flipper should never fail to slide underneath.
Weaknesses- Not the best pusher in a straight shoving battle.
Weight Distribution-
Chassis- 12kg
Armour- 37kg
Batteries- 9kg
Motors- 2.6kg
Locomotion- 9kg
Weapons- 7kg
Weapon Power-16kg
Electronics-8kg
TOTAL- 100.6kg

Vapourbot Grand Championships 2006
For Mr. Bob Ill use the 6 inch blades, which should be able to tear through the armour quite nicely. Ill just need to keep away until Im spun up enough to do some damage.
Against Back to Rock 2, I reckon I can get under the skirts easily enough. I think Id be able to get under the front too, but anyway, as he has a slow hydraulic self righter, I think I once Ive thrown him over just once, I can take total control of the fight, and just keep flipping him over before he can self right. I think if I flip him hile self righting, he could be in some trouble as hed rest against the open lifter arm, and then I think a nudge could put him on his side. The picture looks like beaching him on the side is possible anyway.

ok with ripe my best robot out of the two if theres any pit switch then Ill hit it then Ill try and coax him then if that doesnt work then Ill do what Im going to do with hus charge.

Vapourbot Grand Championships 2006
Infusion vs. GeForce 4.0
Oh cheers Alex! :proud: Just go suicidal and ram it with the rear end and hope the arena floor swallows Infusion up... failing to do this try and launch it out of the arena.
Wedga Revo 2.0 vs. Hus
Ah, thats more like it. :) Right, Im presuming Hus is a very fat target being as no units have been given in the dimensions. Therefore catching it for a pushing or flipping should be no hard task. Its weapon has some random safety thing that stops it attacking me, so that is fair enough being as it has no motor to power it anyway. :) Even if it was normal I doubt it would cause little effect to my armouring. Its speed is going a bit crazy so outcontrolling wont be much of a problem either. Next on the list is I have 10hp more to push it with, so that just adds to the pain. And just to top things off, it has no thickness of armour and therefore does not exist. You do the maths, Ill do the pizza...
