Bah Humbug!!!

Thought I would create a little area of sanity for those of us who have had quite enough of Christmas already, even though the dreaded event is still a few days off.
There will be no postings allowed about Santa Clause, sleighs, Rudolph the bloody red nosed reindeer, snow, wish lists of presents, festive cheer, etc., etc., etc. No wishing of a happy christmas, and abosolutly no posting bragging about what you got on the day or moaning about what you wanted and didnt get!
You are of course welcome to moan at length about the impossible queues at the shops, your local Post Office, the inability to find a parking space prior to having to join the aforementioned queues, the unnecessary expense that could be put to far better use in improving your robot...The list goes on and on!!
So if any of you feel the need to get the fustrations of the festive season of your chest this is the place to do it!

What religion do i sign up to in order to get the most days off from work? Then i can finally get some work done on my robots.

Now on this festive occassion the people from work came up with this brilliant idea to have a christmas lunch where everyone brings something himself (the dutch treat idea, altough in holland we call it an american party). So now 5 people will probably bring beer, 2 some kind of punch, 2 eggnog, and 1 or 2 some salad.

I hate beer
i dont like punch
i detest eggnog
and if i have no desire in rabbitfood.

And dont get me started on the almond spice. yuck.

So ill be the one drinking cola and eating some bread or something.

LOL grrrr work is so busy coming up to christmas dont get a moments piece, people get so impatient with the staff! Are you one of them Geoff?? hehe :proud:

No not at all Bex, You should try working for the Post Office at this time of year!! :sad:

When you read Geoffs post, you soon realise what I have to put up with. If you come into our shop there are decorations up, the moment you go into the post office there is nothing. He wont let me put any in there. He really is a Scrooge!!! Ill be lucky if I get a present :sad: .
He complains about how busy he is, but then I help him when I can. But, youll not see him in the shop.He only really get busy at this time of year and he cant cope.
Ill not get any help with the Christmas dinner, because he wont even be out of bed. He doesnt mind the presents though. But theres no help here either, I have to pay for everythhing. The day he helps I think Ill faint.

Merry Christmas! I feel so sorry for you it must be so hard living with a scrooge i dont know how you cope... Try working at wilkos this time of year everyone looking for the same things and when we aint got it having a right go at us... Its a hard life LOL

Sounds like Geoff is only a scrooge with anything non-robotic. I say his is the right way of thinking!

One thing about christmas that always makes me laugh is the neighbours that spent £ and £s on outside lights, a whole day putting them up and then dont turn them on every night. Got 2 down my road like that. :)

Erm Well for once ill have to err agree wirth Geoff Im not a big Christmas fan i just never feel very christmasy hense why im working christmas day.

First New years resalution
:- Never Ever EVER Agree with Geoff again

Ill be away for Xmas, no cooking, no aged aunties or grans, no Bridge on the River Kwai on TV, no nonense. Ill go swimming, or go to the cinema, play sports, eat to my hearts content, go to the pub etc etc.

BTW Geoff really is an old Scroogeypants :)

Ive got my own personal cute scrooge here, yodeling - when I take the Yule-decorations from the attic - that its all more clutter than we already have, do you really have to do this ?!. Oh yeah, I do honey. I know youre happy when you can be grumpy.
