Well, dont have any videos of testing version 3 , which U guys saw @ series 7, but I do have 1 testing video of version 2, which I used @ rijswijk. In this video I flip a microwave and almost kill myself. Tech specs, ok, that can be done, drawings, sorry, I dont draw, i weld. Future plans ? beware !!!!!

Ive been trying to get an ftp server up to put vids on it. It has no name just an IP address (81.106.67.7). Every time I test it at home it works through the network but doesnt seem to work outside. Cant test it here (at work) as ftp is blocked by the firewall. Im using NTL broadband with the computer plugged direct into the cable box with a CAT5 cable (not USB).

NEED HELP.

What FTP server software are you using? And what operating system?

I cant FTP to that address either.

looks like youre behind a router, and that way u can acces it from the network but not from outside. But John Denny already hooked me up with a 500 mb divx file of heat D ! (at least, were trying to get it on an ftp server over here :) )

Probably NTL doesnt allow the running of services on cable connections. It looks like all connections to your server are blocked.

NTL do allow services. They have a few ports blocked (Windows File & Print and MSSQL) but FTP should be open. I can use SSH on my machine without any problems.

Im using Serv-U trial version FTP server under windows XP. Will give more details when I get home tonight.

Check your IP address again when you do - NTL change it every two weeks or so.

OK. Checked IP address and its found three on that computer.
1) 81.106.67.7
2) 192.168.0.1
3) 127.0.0.1

1 is for the network card connected to NTL
2 is for the network card on the LAN
3 is ????

The software is Serv-U 4.1. I can connect to 1 & 2 through the LAN on another computer. Can anyone else connect?

The IP addresses look correct, 81.106.67.7 is your public IP address, 192.168.0.1 is just for your home network, 127.0.0.1 is a special one called the loopback address - dont worry about it.

First thought, do you have XPs built-in firewall enabled on the NTL network card? If you look in the network connections dialog, it may say Connected, Firewalled next to the connection icon.

Yes, The firewall is on for the NTL but not for LAN. Sure it wasnt before. Now fixed. Can you please try again for me.

Yep, its running. You might want to turn the firewall on but just enable incoming port 21. Id recommend you make sure youve got secure passwords for anyone who can log in.

Great help jim thanks. Will do. I can finish putting gravitys vids on there and will also add the shefield event. Got 50% of fights that day. Ill still let anonymous users have limited read access but put give some people directories to upload there files. All I need now is a domain name.

I use no-ip.com, they provide a free domain name and software you can run on your PC which updates the DNS entry whenever NTL change your IP address.

That Gravity is a serious piece of kit!!! :)

Finally found the chance to register on these boards.

Anyways, Im sorry there were issues with copyright and such. The footage is ofcourse owned by Mentorn, the only thing I did was edit it and put some music behind it.

After Series 7 I will make a second, much broader compilation of all Gravitys fights. Also the credits will be much more extensive, this time also including Mentorn. My sincere apologies for the problems this all mightve caused...Ive barely touched the edge of video-editing and a mistake such as this can slip in very easily. The movie cant be retrieved anymore from its original location as well. Not directly because the servers down at the moment, but more because I had foreseen that the link would be spread and bandwith would go skyrocketing into orbit.

I still have the video on my harddrive as referencematerial for the new compilation. Its 19 megs, so it cannot be sent through Email. If you want it, either contact me or Babeth.
